Everyone was packed in the dining hall of the Dauntless compound. Leaders. Members. Initiates. Harmony looked around at the faction members, many of whom she only saw at meal times. Everyone was eating dinner but it was the rankings that everyone was waiting for.

Harmony and her friends sat with Tris, Four, Uriah, Marlene, Christina and Lynn. Christina was joking around with Uriah making the member hopefuls laugh. Tris was also laughing from where she sat by Four. Four for his part just looked amused.

Everything quieted down as Eric took to the balcony with Max and the other Dauntless Leaders. All eyes were on them. Max spoke up.

"Initiates, you have come a long way since you started initiation into this faction. Many of you have grown in ways you wouldn't have had you stayed in your faction of birth or transfered to a different faction. Some of you didn't have what it took and became factionless or took the jump." Max looked out at the members of his faction as he spoke. It was silent. Rare for the usual rowdy faction. Now's the time for what everyone has been waiting for. "Here are the rankings for this years initiates."

The board suddenly lit up as names appeared one by one. Naia took the first ranked spot followed by her cousin Mara. Harmony's eyes widen as she sees her name ranked third. The former Amity thought she'd be in at least sixth place. Looking further down she saw James in fifth with Marissa taking seventh.

"Nicely done Naia!" Harmony called over the shouts of joy of the initiates who passed. She clapped her hand on the former Candors shoulder.

That night the Dauntless had their celebration. Tris came over to her.

"Well done Amity." The blonde first ranked initiate from the year prior smiled. Harmony met her eyes and smirked.

"I'm Dauntless now." Harmony glances at Four before continuing. "Thank you for everything you both taught us."

"It's our job." Four said. He crossed his arms. "Third ranked isn't bad for a former Amity."

"I had really good teachers. Six, Four?"

"Tris."

"I'm sorry?"

"My real name. It's Tris. You got into Dauntless you earned that knowledge."

Harmony smiled. "You two wanna join me and my friends in celebration?"

Both nodded in agreement and everyone went out to the pit to have a good time.

The next morning all the new members of Dauntless lined up to choose their jobs. Naia went to be a salon stylist. Mara chose to be a tattoo artist. Harmony, as she'd once said went with working in the control room.

The newly full fledged Dauntless member was given her apartment key and number. She gave Marissa and James a hug before going. Since both planned to patrol it was likely she wouldn't be able to see them as often as she'd like.

She found Tris who helped her find her apartment and entered her new home within Dauntless. Tris went off to work a shift at the tattoo parlor.

Closing the door and putting the key on a side table Harmony walked to her bed kicking off her boots on the way. She laid down on her back and smirked. This was the start of the rest of her adult life.
