"Since you are Kuon, how should I call you now since you are also Tsuruga Ren?" Kyoko asked curiously, she had a lot of questions like why did he become an actor and go by the name Tsuruga Ren and why he didn't bother returning to Kyoto at all but for now she settled with the question how to call him now.
"Ren would be fine since Japanese media and people don't know my connection with Kuu Hizuri." He replied immediately.
"Isn't it nice that the two of you reunited after all those years?" Kuu said and laughed nervously.
"It is indeed father (she held into Ren's hand tightly) all my life I thought I will not be able to reach you or meet you again but fate made it happen that's why I'm happy." Kyoko said with a smile.
"Alright since we are still waiting for Ren's release I'll be leaving the two of you alone to talk." Kuu said and left Ren's room crying.
"Kuu san why are you crying?" Yashiro asked who saw him by the door.
"Kyoko already knows that Ren is Kuon and by some twist of fate, they become acquainted when they were young and now the two of them are reminiscing the past. Why does it have to be that way Yashiro why did they have to meet, become friends, lovers and siblings?"
Yashiro placed a hand on Kuu's shoulder and led him to the fire exit where he could cry without anyone seeing him, the popular Hollywood actor in an emotional pain crying his heart out. Ren and Kyoko talked about their childhood that bought smile to Ren's lips, he was more on a dilemma now that Kyoko knows who he really was it's just a matter of time before she will find out that they are siblings.
In Saena's home
"You are joking right?" Sho asked in disbelief.
"No, however Kyoko doesn't know anything about it yet that she and that actor Tsuruga Ren have the same father. The reason I'm telling you this is because I want you to keep them apart for they will suffer more if their relationship continues and the secret comes out."
"Who else knows?"
"Their father and possibly Ren as well for I told their father to break them apart and prevent them from hurting more.
Sho remembered his promise to Kyoko that he will help her win back Ren and never to hurt her again, but with the situation now that was impossible for he had to be the jerk again to keep Kyoko from Ren and if he had to go to drastic measures so be it as long as he keep the two apart.
"I will keep them apart but you are not to say a word about her connection with Ren, I don't want to see her hurt beyond repair if she learns it."
"I will but you know that she'll eventually know about it for my daughter is intelligent."
"I know but at least I can force them apart before that happens making it easier for her to accept the truth why I will do it."
Back at the hospital
Ren and Kyoko talked about their memories together when they were young and Ren told her who else knows his true identity, and the time they spent when they were apart. Kyoko told him about her mother leaving her and her fancying Sho for a long time and even followed him to Tokyo to become a star and how he broke her heart. Ren told her about America and how life there was but left the part of his failure and his mistake that caused the life of his best friend which is why he kept his watch broken.
"Ren I was wondering why did you break up with me, did I do something wrong or is it because I am not desirable when we made the love scene?" Kyoko asked she wanted to ask that question since she got out of the hospital and visited him yesterday but never got to ask him.
"No that's not it you are desirable in every way and any man will fall on your knees…actually I was just tired and drunk that's why I said those words….forgive me Kyoko chan it was wrong of me to break up with you." He said with a heavy heart for he lied to Kyoko that he wasn't breaking up with her, Ren just can't tell her the truth that he was breaking up with her because they are siblings.
"Really then you should refrain from drinking ever again because you are saying hurtful words." Kyoko said and smiled while Ren forced a smile.
Director Musashi knocked on Ren's door and he entered.
"Hi there you two it is great to see the two of you well again. Anyway I drop by because I have to tell you that we are resuming filming in two days for the final scene then we'll all return to Tokyo for film promotions, interviews and such that's why you have two days to rest and even if I want you to rest more our time schedule prevents it I hope you both don't mind."
"It's alright director, we are artists and it is our job." Kyoko said proudly.
"That's good to hear I knew it from the start that I was not wrong in choosing the two of you for my late wife's last work and I can't thank you enough." Musashi and bowed to Ren and Kyoko.
"You mustn't bow at us director it should be us who must be thanking you for this wonderful project." Ren said.
"You are too humble Tsuruga Ren that is the reason why you are Japan's number 1 now. Excuse me for I have other things to attend to." Musshi said and left.
Not long after Musashi left the doctor, Kuu and Yashiro arrived at Ren's room and he was discharged from the hospital.
"Kyoko chan are you joining us back?" Ren asked as he was holding Kyoko's hand.
"No, I am staying now with my mother she wants to spend time with me to make up for the lost time I guess."
Kuu almost choked from what he heard while Yashiro and Ren remained stoic.
Kyoko immediately let go of Ren's hand and placed her hand on Kuu's back tapping it lightly, "Are you ok father?"
Kuu nodded, "Yes I just choked on something don't worry about me."
"If you say so, I shall be going back to my mother it's already lunchtime and she will be searching for me now. Goodbye everyone, I'll see you soon Ren kun." Kyoko said and kissed Ren's cheek before leaving.
"Ren kun?" Kuu asked.
Even Ren was surprised for it was the first time she called him with kun suffix but replied coolly, "I'll talk to you and explain later father."
Kuu and Yashiro exchanged glances but kept their silence and continued to walk.
In Saena's home
Kyoko arrived just in time for lunch and was greeted by Sho who saw her enter her room.
"Kyoko where you been?" He asked with a smug look on his face.
"To Ren kun didn't Shoko tell you?"
"She did I just want to confirm it from you and since when did you start calling Tsuruga Ren, Ren kun?"
"Why is it wrong for me to call him like that?"
"Yes, because you aren't together didn't you just tell me?"
Kyoko nodded, "I did back at the hospital when you visited me but we are back together now we just had a misunderstanding."
"You do know that I love you right and that you love me also for a long time now, if you are just using him to get to me you better stop now for there is no reason to make me realize my mistake for I learned from it already. And if you don't believe every word I said I will show them to you" Sho said and pinned Kyoko to the futon and forced his lips to Kyoko and kiss her not letting her go.
I'm sorry Kyoko but this is the only way.
Inside the car as Yashiro was driving Ren spoke, "I reconciled with Kyoko that's why she called me Ren chan for the first time."
"But Kuon you know the two of you can't be." Kuu said worriedly.
"I know…just…give me two weeks time with her and I'll leave Japan for good and return to America back to you and mother never to return to Japan ever again."

Thanks for your support of this fanfiction of mine it makes me happy and again I am sorry for not updating earlier because I can't remember how the story will move from the last chapter for my life had been shaky the past few years. I hope my followers are still there not giving up Sakura Love.
