Chapter 60

"If I ask you to run away with me will you come with me?" Ren asked while driving the black sedan he borrowed from his friend Yashiro.

"And leave your profession behind? I'm sorry Ren-kun but that doesn't seem to be in your character." Kyoko said looking at Ren. "You love being an actor and you leaving it behind for us…" Kyoyo painfully look away from Ren, "It's just unthinkable…" she said quietly.

"Yeah…" So much for my plan to elope with Kyoko- chan…"

"But…if that happens and you leave showbiz behind I promise I will follow you and support your decision." Kyoko said smiling.

Ren remained silent for the rest of the trip.

Sho's looking through the plane's window sadly thinking about his talk with Saena and what he did to Kyoko earlier that day. He really did it this time, totally destroying his relationship with Kyoko.

That's the reason why I can never love you back again because the heart that I gave you it was ALL of me but you didn't take care of it you hurt me and that love will never rekindle again trust and love both are the same if you broke a mirror no matter how you try to connect all the shards it will never be the same again…"

Kyoko's words are daggers that pierced through his heart hurting him beyond repair.

"Sho-san?" Shoko asked calling the attention of the blonde superstar.

"Yeah." He said without interest.

"Do you want to talk about it?"

Sho sighed running a hand through his hair and said, "You are my manager and I appreciate everything you've done for me but my personal problems are none of your concern and don't worry about it affecting my work because it won't."

Shoko was taken aback with Sho's coldness but she just kept her silence and busied herself in arranging Sho's schedules.

Kuu noticed his son and Kyoko enter the Musashi residence walking hand in hand.

"Father!" Kyoko greeted happily.

"Kyoko it's nice to see you again." Kuu greeted back smiling nervously.

"We're going ahead." Ren said pulling Kyoko along with him, he doesn't want Kyoko and Kuu to spend more time together it hurts him to see them as father and daughter.

"Of course you both need your rest." Kuu said callously.

Inside Kyoko's room

Ren sat at the far end of the room looking at Kyoko who neatly prepares her futon.

"Ren kun?" She asked wondering why Ren bothered to stay with her.

"Just sleep I'll watch over you."

Kyoko took a seat beside Ren and leaned her head towards his shoulder.

"Is it ok if I sleep like this?" She asked blushing.

Ren adjusted their position placing an arm around her small shoulders "If you want to then it is fine by me."

Kyoko smiled before closing her eyes to sleep.

"If only we can stay like this forever Kyoko-chan." He said before closing his tired eyes.

"You look troubled Kuu is there something wrong?" Musashi asked his actor who drinks sake as if he is drinking water.

"Ahhhh…Musashi sama…how would you feel if you were in my shoes?"

Musashi scoffed as he drink his share of sake, "Me to be the great Kuu Hizuri? I'd be delighted of course."

"Nah...Not so great after what I did."

"Why what is it that you did?" The samurai looking director asked with interest.

"I fucked up my son's life…"

"What do you mean?"

Kuu laughed sarcastically, "Never mind it I think I am drunk already."

"Maybe you are that's why you should retire for the night. We are resuming shooting tomorrow since Kyoko is back."

The following morning Sakura love resumed shooting as early as planned due to time restraints, Director Musashi filmed the last scenes between the lead characters Ren and Kyoko are playing while Director Ushio filmed Kuu and Yuuko's scenes. Shooting for the final scenes went smoothly. After that filming wrapped up the staff and crew wrapped up and immediately left for Tokyo the following day.

Ren ignored his father which Kyoko observed.

"Ren-kun is there anything wrong between you and father?"

Ren opened his half-closed eyes a little startled by Kyoko's question, "No, why would you ask?"

"Well…I just noticed you are ignoring father since yesterday…is there something I should know?" Kyoko said fidgeting in her seat.

"No." He said sternly. Does she know about our "connection" already?

"You'll tell if there is something right?" Kyoko said her eyes sparkling in anticipation.

"You're just tired Kyoko chan." Please don't ask any more questions.

Kyoko smiled, "Yes that's right I can't wait to return to Darumaya and tell Taisho-sama and his wife about what happened here."

Ren smiled in return, "I'm sure they'll be proud of what you accomplished."

Upon arriving at the Tokyo International Airport, media, fans and spectators gathered around the airport wanting to take just a glimpse at Ren, Kyoko, Kuu, Yuuko and directors Musashi and Yuuko.

"Hear them Kyoko chan, they are calling for you." Ren whispered in her ear glancing at the crowd with his best smile possible.

"Kyoko, Kyoko, Kyoko!" The crowd chanted calling her name.

Ren called for Yashiro, who did his job of swaying the crowd away from Ren and Kyoko until they can reach the car that was waiting for them that Ren drove fast.

"I bet they are waiting outside Darumaya as well."

"Where shall I go then, I didn't know I have a lot of fans now." Kyoko said worriedly.

"You can stay with me for the night, tomorrow you should talk to Sawara san about the recent development in your career so he could find you a new place to stay as soon as possible."

"But I-"

"Talk with the old folks in Darumaya as well, tell them you can't work with them anymore…not when you are now well known."

"But-"

"No buts Kyoko-chan…you are not the same Kyoko who kneeled in front of LME building before, you are The Mogami Kyoko now." Ren said with his emperor of the night look.

Emperor of the night look means Ren is serious and Kyoko knows it first hand with her numerous personal encounters with it so she opted not to argue with him anymore.

Ren dialed his manager's phone number upon arriving at his unit.

"Yashiro, will you do me and favor and drop by Darumaya and tell the old folks there that you are getting Kyoko's things and bring them to one of my apartments near LME I am currently not using."

"Alright, anything else…is she with you now?"

"Yes…about what I told you about when I was released from the hospital arrange for it."

"Ren…"

"Please if not as my manager…as my friend do it."

"I'll see what I can do. Bye."

"Is that Yashiro-san?" Kyoko asked who just finished showering wearing a pair of Ren's boxers and white shirt he lend to her.

"Yes." He answered curtly, his eyes never leaving Kyoko's.

"Ano…" Shy shyly said but was cut off when Ren suddenly closed their distance.

"Kyoko-chan…" He said barely a whisper.

"With you…I'm not afraid anymore." Kyoko said blushing while intertwining her hands with Ren tiptoeing to reach his lips.

Ren wanted nothing but to give in and express his love to Kyoko but with them having the same father making love with Kyoko will be a taboo, a scandal that will mark their lives forever. Pushing all of his self-control in motion he simply embraced her tightly in his arms and placed a chaste kiss on top of her head.

"You had a long day Kyoko-chan and you are not ready for it yet…when we do it I want you to be fully ready for it when you are ready to accept all of me and everything I am not because you just want it."

"Gomen…I didn't know-"

"I want it as badly as you…I want it even before when we were acting as Heel siblings and you gave me hickey, I just don't want you to regret it afterwards just because you are not yet ready." Ren explained in his softest tone reserved only for her.

Outside Darumaya

Growing tired of waiting for Kyoko to arrive in Darumaya the mob of fans she has there left, unbeknownst to them Sho who had been patiently waiting for Kyoko stood there as well behind a light post wearing a thick black hood to cover his identity.

"Where did you go Kyoko, are you with Tsuruga Ren right now?"
