The New Chapter

Frustration and Lies

"Hey Ren catch!" Ren turned around to catch the ball his friend tossed him the two of them are currently in a quiet neighborhood of downtown Los Angeles playing ball like an ordinary people.

It's been two years since he left Japan for America and his hard work in this foreign land earn him countless reward.

He became the 'it' guy of America one of the hottest, successful and famous Asian actor in the business. And helm youngest actor to win a major acting award in Hollywood. But all that fame and glory wasn't enough to make him happy. Because despite all the things he has now he still feels incomplete.

"Kyoko…"

"You all right?" The blond asked while wiping his sweat using his shirt showing his tone six pack abs for anyone to see. Ren scowl his blond friend was fond of showing his what he call 'weapon' for everyone to see using it to get girls attention. He doesn't really care if his friend (do what he wants) but it starting to irk him.

"What's wrong with you Ren? You've been in a bad mood lately…" Kira asked his Japanese friend while taking in a deep breath his blue eyes not leaving his friend's figure.

"Was it because of Keith again" the blond stated answering his own question, he couldn't blame Ren for being pissed after all what happened the last time.

Ren sighed rubbing the bridge of his nose Keith is least of his problem, "Or are you still thinking of that her?" Kira knows he had finally hit a nerve when he saw Ren give him a glare he shrug his shoulders (as if giving up).

"You know you're problem is easy to solve Ren…"

"Hey guys!" Emiko greeted the two as she entered the basketball court with a basket of food inside.

"Here comes the girlfriend!" Kira whistled earning another glare from the raven.

"Hey please don't let my boyfriend hear you say that!" Emiko scolded her older brother.

"Let's go eat Ren…" Kira invited his friend while peeking inside the basket (his younger sister brought) for them.

"Are you all right Ren?" she asked worriedly since they arrived back in America two years ago Ren has become work-a-holic than ever.

"Yeah I'm fine…" Ren said quietly while sitting at the empty bleacher.

"I hope to get your spirits up…"

"I don't know…" Ren look away (nothing can make his spirits up)

"Well…" Emiko sits next to Ren her hand on his shoulder, "What if I told you that Keith finally agreed to film the movie in Japan…" with that Ren turn to look at Emiko his eyes widen in surprise. He couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"Really?!" he exclaimed earning the attention of Kira was still stuffing his mouth with food.

"What's up?"

With so much happiness Ren hug Emiko close to him which was so out of character for him.

"Thank you Emi!"

"I can finally see you Kyoko…" Ren said to himself wistfully while looking up the blue sky.

"Kyoko I heard you won the best actress award against Yukina Kawahara so prepare your acceptance speech…" Sawara said over the phone making the orange head girl shock. She was currently in the process of brushing her teeth but she didn't mind the chili mint flavored Colgate she has in her mouth she needs to process what her manager just told her.

"You all right?" Half-naked Sho mouted to Kyoko joining her inside the bathroom wrapping his arm around his girlfriend's small frame.

"Waif-jush-a-seshcond Shawara-shan I'll call you back…" Kyoko said in inaudible manner she hang up the phone and quickly wash her mouth.

"What happen dear…everything all right?"

Kyoko looks up to the taller male with a giddy smile on jumping on her boyfriend's arm making the blond surprise for a moment before she broke the news to him.

"What's making you so happy in the morning?" Clueless Sho asked his girlfriend.

"Sawara-san just told me I won the best actress award against Kawahara Yukina-san!" She announce excitedly to her boyfriend her face buried on his chest.

"Wow! That's great news Kyoko…" Sho said hugging his girlfriend tightly against him…he was genuinely happy for her since this is what she really wants since she woke up from coma…

Two years ago…

Sakura Love her film helped Kyoko shot to stardom. She became Japan's number one female actress and a household name. Fans and people in the same industry (as she is) admired her hard work and dedication (and her) passion in acting.

"This calls for a celebration!"

"But don't you have shoot later? Shoko-san said that you'll finish later than usual…" Kyoko asked her boyfriend worriedly. She really like to spend time with Sho but their work is preventing them to (spend time longer) than she wanted to.

"I don't care what Shoko said we'll celebrate later nothing could stop me from seeing you…" Sho said kindly his blue eyes gazing intently on his girlfriend's eyes while his free hand fixing the hair sticking out Kyoko's cheeks.

"I'll see you later then Sho…"

"But before that what about we mess around?" Sho said with meaningful grin on his face making Kyoko face heat up a blush creeping down her cheeks.

"You're not getting any today!" Kyoko squeal as Sho grab her by her waist tickling her mercilessly. "Stop it Sho it tickles!"

"Well that's the main idea idiot…" He said turning Kyoko towards him while pinning her by the counter. As their eyes met Sho couldn't help but to be mesmerize by his girlfriend's golden brown orbs. The blond was surprise a little when Kyoko understanding the situation close her eyes waiting for him to kiss her.

Sho couldn't help himself as he kiss her tenderly on her lips. They both pull away but their eyes still lock to each other till Sho lean in again to her this time it was a long passionate kiss. Sho grabbed her by her waist closing their body's distance to each other his other free hand finds itself at the back of her neck deepening their kiss.

Kyoko loves Sho so much…

No…

Maybe even deeper this time…

For Kyoko this is not the first time they're going to make love but for her it was always (like) the first time. She felt so nervous and her whole body feels like jelly. But when she's one with Sho she feels so complete.

"I love Sho…"

Sho and Kyoko are eating breakfast together (after an hour of making love). Sho after being scolded by Shoko on phone for being late he was now has no choice but to eat quickly.

"Sho don't eat like that or you'll choke…" Kyoko said worriedly, looking at Sho taking a bite of piece of meat one after the other.

"Sorry Kyoko but I'm in a hurry!"

"Well whose fault is it why you're running late this morning?!" Kyoko said her hand on her waist.

"But you enjoyed it right?" Sho smirked while Kyoko blush.

"S-Shut up Shotaro!"

"After 2 years since leaving Japan and becoming a popular actor all over the world, Tsuruga Ren finally returns to make a movie here where he will be working with a Japanese actress who is yet to be revealed."

Sho drops his utensils after hearing the news.

"Why would he return now?"
