Chapter 69

Emiko is currently stitching Ren's palm that was cut by the glass he shattered earlier with his conversation with Sho.

Covering the stitched palm with sterile gauze Emiko sighed, "What happened Ren did you accidentally cut your palm? Good thing it is not so deep or it will take time to heal and we are already shooting in a week's time."

"I broke the glass I was holding." He answered opening and closing his bandaged hand to check his hand movement if there are any damage.

"You should be careful Ren, if you are just going to punish yourself here in Japan you should have not accepted the movie role."

"I know but this is the only chance I got if I still have any…thank you for doing this." Ren said smiling a small smile before retreating to his room remembering his conversation with Sho.

Flashback

"I tried to call you Ren but you changed your number I also tried to reach you using your manager there in America but I didn't get through you…so don't tell me that I didn't try to communicate with you till I decided that I will take Kyoko to myself…" Ren didn't say anything he just tighten his hold on the glass of water he was holding. Listening to Sho is making him think of the things he did back in America. It's not as if he wanted to ignore his calls or messages that he sent about Kyoko.

If he did read or answer those calls he'll definitely be back for Kyoko but there are things that needed to be considered. He left Kyoko and Japan to protect her. And he couldn't just leave his commitments in America now that he was just starting. He loves Kyoko and his job dearly and as an actor getting into the glamour of Hollywood are every actor's dream. He can't just leave things because of love. This is not some shojo manga that the leads will just leave everything behind for the person they love this is reality.

"Shut…up…" Ren mumbled dangerously his intense brown eyes met Sho's blue once. "You didn't know what I went through in America ignoring all things related to her ignoring the fact that she was dying in the hospital, for leaving her for not seeing her for two years…you don't know anything about the things I went through so stop preaching me about not being able to be there for her!" he said as he finally loses his patience.

"Yeah I don't know what happened to you in those two years but I only know this…I already told Kyoko about your past with her. She told me she doesn't care about that…"

Ren smirked, "Really? Does she already have her memories back?"

This is Sho's turn to glare at Ren, "What are you insinuating Ren."

"Be ready Fuwa Sho because once she remembers me you won't have a place in her heart…" instead of answering back to Ren he sighed deeply looking up to the raven haired with (now) a calm look on his face.

"I'm ready to get hurt," Sho said without any hint of venom on his voice. Making Ren for the first time shock by Sho's change of perspective. "I chose to love Kyoko even though I know when she got her memories back she'll love you again but I don't care about that I'll enjoy being with her till you take her back BUT I won't back down without a fight for I...love her too..so may the best man win..."

After their tutoring lessons Ren decided to teach Kyoko how to play darts board (that the production crew lent them earlier)

"Wow, it hit!" Kyoko looks up to Ren to thank him but stiffened when she saw him leaning down to her. Out of her instinct she look away to dodge his advances.

"Hey Mogami look up." Ren cooed huskily over her ears making her shiver. Kyoko felt a warm hand over her breast making her push him away.

"W-What are you doing Tsuruga-san!" Kyoko couldn't believe what Ren just did! He touch her breast and he was just standing there like he didn't do anything. He didn't even look remorseful!

Ren chuckled in amusement, "What, you stopped breathing? How cute Mogami," he said leaning down to her level again before she could even protest, his lips settled over hers. Sliding his tongue forcing its way into her mouth.

Kyoko push Ren away from her, surprisingly she wasn't scared by his bold advances but rather it was a mixture of shock and guilt (because she's already marrying Sho she let him kiss her)

"Mogami I…"

"I-I got to go I have to…see Sho…" she said as she hurriedly left the room. Leaving the frustrated Ren inside the room.

"Shit…" Ren cursed in frustration.

Sho and Kyoko managed to find a free time in their busy work schedule to go to a private island resort and survey the place where they would like to have their wedding to take place. It is an expensive exotic looking resort that the way to reach the place is by travelling in a boat or a helicopter to reach the private island resort.

"We shall be riding the helicopter, are you scared this is the first you will ride one right?" Sho teased smiling at his fiancé.

Kyoko pouted and hit Sho's arm lightly. His fiancé helped her up and when she's about to put on her seatbelt when she remembered what happened the time when Ren kisses her.

"N-No I wasn't cheating I-It was Tsuruga-san's fault!"

"Are you all right Kyoko? You look troubled.." Sho asked noticing the troubled look on his fiancée's face.

"N-No I'm fine Sho don't worry about me…"

"That's right Kyoko just forget about what happened that time! You can't let what happened that night mess up your mind!"

No words are enough to describe the beauty of the island resort, Kyoko was amazed by the beauty of the place as they tour place but Sho's silence since arriving didn't go unnoticed by her.

"Is there anything wrong?" Kyoko asked in concern looking up to see the forlorn look in Sho's face.

"No." He replied and tugged Kyoko so they could resume their tour.

"I know when you are lying to me." Kyoko said looking down at her toes.

He stopped in his tracks and tilted her chin to look into her beautiful face and asked, "You are not hiding anything from me are you?"

Kyoko bit on her lower lip, how could she explain to Sho that she was kissed by Ren without him thinking badly of her.

"Kyoko…" Sho prodded her to speak.

"I want to tell you the truth Sho I want to be honest with you and I hope that you won't get mad…"

"I won't I promise…" Sho said gently to her.

"Tsuruga-san kissed me…"

"What?!"
