Chapter 70

"He what?!" Sho exclaimed in shock and anger as he felt betrayed by his fiancée.

"It just happened." Kyoko said her eyes widen as this is the first time Sho yelled at her like that. Of course he would get angry. "I'm his fiancé and I let another man kiss me…" Kyoko wanted to kick herself so bad.

"Just happened?" Sho scoffed. "If I kiss another girl and tell you it just happened what will you feel?"

"I..."

"See that's what I'm talking about and how could he kiss you are you meeting with him behind my back?" Sho asked in a mixed voice of anger and jealousy.

"Tsuruga-san's teaching me English for the movie that's all." Kyoko explained.

"We'll talk about this later I have to return to Tokyo for a recording." Sho said walking away from Kyoko leaving her alone, he's so frustrated with Kyoko hiding from him that she's meeting with Ren again and that Ren managed to steal a kiss from his fiancée.

"Sho…I'm sorry." She said to no one for Sho already left.

Returning back to Tokyo alone Kyoko still managed to do her job professionally even if the issue with her fiancée is not yet resolved. After she was done in shooting for a taped episode of a TV show she saw Ren waiting for her just outside of her dressing room.

"Mogami-san." He called but Kyoko purposely ignored him, however before Kyoko can open the door to her dressing room Ren trapped her in between pinning his arms on her sides.

"Tsuruga-san just leave me alone I don't want to talk to you." Kyoko said not looking up to his brown eyes, she's still mad at what he did to her the last time they met.

"I know I did something wrong the last time we met and I'm sorry about that, I just want to invite you for dinner tonight."

"Dinner? I am already engaged in case you don't know Tsuruga san." She said raising her voice a little showing her ring finger where she wears Sho's engagement ring.

The diamond ring is a hard blow to Ren's feelings but he didn't let it affect him. "It is just a friendly dinner Mogami nothing else I just want to make up for what I did."

"Excuse me but I have to change my clothes. I still have another work to do." Kyoko said and Ren let his arms fall freely so Kyoko could enter closing the door with a bang.

Ren sighs deeply and walks away.

Inside a hotel suite somewhere in Tokyo

"This is an honor to have you notice my talent Sho-san." Nagi a beautiful young singer that Sho discovered after attending a music show in Narita said smiling.

"Of course who wouldn't notice a talent like you, how about we talk about the song I'm writing? We'll go to my studio…"

"What is the song about Sho-san?"

"It's about a man saying goodbye to the woman he loves." Sho said solemnly, the song he's currently writing is a personal song.

Nagi frowned, "That was sad Sho-san the man loves this woman so why say good bye?"

It was past dinner when Kyoko was done for her second commitment for the night. While on her way home she again saw Ren in the hallway seating in a bench with his head hung low.

"Why is he still here what is he doing?"

Curiously she walked to him and heard him snoring a little. "He's sleeping?"

"Kyoko-san there you are you left this inside your dressing room earlier." A PA said handing over a small bag to her.

"Thanks." Kyoko said smiling.

"Wait isn't that Tsuruga-san?" The PA asked looking at the sleeping Ren.

Kyoko nodded.

"Poor guy he's been in the studio since morning saying he's waiting for someone and now it's already past dinner, I doubt he's eaten yet. Whoever made him wait like that sure has a nerve to do that to someone like Tsuruga Ren." The PA said before leaving for he still has a lot of work to do at the production set.

"He's been waiting all day for me? But why didn't he left when I rejected his offer of dinner? What am I going to do?" Kyoko asked to herself thinking deeply if she just leave him alone or wake him and reluctantly accept his offer of reconciliation and dinner.

"Kyoko…" Ren said through his sleep loud enough for Kyoko to hear.

"He's dreaming of me?" She asked to herself curiously. Pushing all arguments in her head she wakes Ren from his sleep.

His eyes were red from the sudden intrusion in his sleep and blink his eyes a few times not believing in the sight in front of him who he was just dreaming of.

"Mogami-san?"

Kyoko nodded, "If you still want to make up to me now is the right time before I decide to change my mind."

Ren drove her to a five star hotel in Tokyo and upon arriving Kyoko questioned him why he's bringing her there.

"Why are we here?" She asked looking sharply at Ren.

"Dinner, they have a restaurant here at the top of the hotel serving the best steak in town." He answered smoothly.

Kyoko's mouth formed a small o upon realizing her mistake, besides who could blame her after their last incident together.

"Shall we go then?" He asked smiling.

Ren and Kyoko ate in relative silence. Kyoko was feeling out of place for she was just wearing a simple ladies jeans and white off shoulder blouse and here they are eating in a fancy restaurant.

"Are you feeling uncomfortable with me?" Ren asked looking at her whose eyes are solely focused on the steak she's eating.

"Yes." She said honestly.

"Don't be." He said smoothly before sipping champagne from his flute glass.

"You should have told me we will be eating in a fancy restaurant so I could have dressed properly." Kyoko said finally voicing out why she's feeling uncomfortable.

"Don't mind them looking at you you're more beautiful than them." He said and raised himself up from his chair to take off his black coat, vest, tie and opening the top two buttons of his white long sleeve shirt earning gasps from the ladies in the restaurant.

"There I am just wearing casually like you." He said smiling before taking his seat and resumes his eating.

Kyoko was surprised at what he just did, for a man only does something like that in movies for his woman. Just what kind of a man is Tsuruga Ren and why is he doing such things for her knowing she loves someone already. Perhaps the news is true that he returned for her but why can't she remember anything about him or their past together.

"I think were done for tonight, do you want to eat or something?" Sho asked to Nagi who are now both exhausted and hungry thinking and writing lyrics for their song.

"Don't worry I will cook some food for you Sho-san."

"Don't bother we can eat somewhere my treat of course." Sho kindly offered.

Nagi happily accepted her idol and now co-worker's offer.

After they were done eating Ren and Kyoko talked while riding the elevator down to the lobby.

"You said we were lovers before right?" Kyoko asked looking up to Ren.

"Yes" He answered.

"Then why did we break up, is it so painful that I can't remember anything about us? Is that the reason why you returned because you want me to return to your arms even if I am in love with some-

Before Kyoko could finish her sentence Ren pull her to him into a warm embrace catching her off guard.

"I'm sorry for everything, for breaking my promise, for hurting you, for loving you so much." Ren said embracing her closer to him.

Kyoko blushed and felt her heart skipping a beat hearing such words from Tsuruga Ren he was popular of saying in his movies.

"I love Sho but why is my heart skipping a beat for Tsuruga-san?"

The two of them suddenly moved apart when the elevator bell rang. Kyoko's eyes widen panic suddenly envelope her whole body Sho saw them embracing she knows he'll definitely be angry but why isn't he? Kyoko watch Sho remove his gaze from them (like nothing happen like he didn't see them or rather her…)

"Sho-san is there anything wrong?" The lovely voice of Nagi said appeared behind Sho.

"Sho listen…" Kyoko tried to touch her fiancé's arm (to get his attention) but Sho swatted her hand away from him.

"Don't touch me." Sho said venomously. Kyoko felt that cold shiver ran through her spine she could literally feel Sho's disappointment and anger through his words.

"Sho!"

"Come on Nagi…" Sho instead drag the girl with him to another open elevator leaving Kyoko to ponder (what just happened.)

Tears form on her eyes with what just happened while Ren who just silently observes offers her a handkerchief.

"It's your fault you just want to destroy my relationship with Sho!" Kyoko said accusingly and ran as fast as she can away from Ren when the elevator reached the lobby.
