Chapter 73

After a few seconds from plunging deep into the sea Ren finally resurface catching his breath briefly he didn't waste time to look for Kyoko. (He didn't have to look for her that long since he could easily spot her struggling to stay afloat). She was clearly panicking and he had this sense of urgency to do something before she drown herself.

"Kyoko stop panicking I'm here!" Ren said trying to get a hold of Kyoko but she was struggling so hard and even slap and struck him on his face (leaving him a cut on his cheek) if he don't do something now she's going to drown them both down.

"Kyoko stop!"

"I can't…I'm drowning…no!"

"Stop Kyoko it's me Kuon stop struggling!" Ren shouted his hand at the back of her neck making her stop struggling and this time he's the one left dumbfounded when Kyoko hug him tight he stiffen at her gesture at first but he didn't do anything about it and just hug her back.

"Corn!" Kyoko sniffed burying her face on his neck, "I-I'm so scared…Corn…" she didn't have any idea why she called him Corn but somehow that word just came out of her mind Ren didn't say anything bad about it either.

"It's okay it's fine now…" He said trying to comfort the crying girl.

After a few minutes of floating and swimming through the vast body of water Ren finally spotted a cave not so far from the top of the cliff where he and Kyoko fell off.

Kyoko couldn't help but to watch soaking wet Ren remove his long sleeves that has (already) become translucent on his body. Kyoko literally could imagine herself drooling at the sight.

She jump on her seat when their eyes met.

"What? Like what you see." Ren smirked teasingly to Kyoko (who in return abruptly look away.

"Don't flatter yourself! Sho's body is more drool worthy than yours." She said looking away (in an effort to hide the embarrassing blush on her cheeks.) 'Like hell who am I kidding? Both has superb body!' Kyoko slap herself realizing how perverted her words sounded.

"So you think my body is drool worthy…I'm flattered." An amused Ren said.

"Like I said you're just trying to-…" Kyoko couldn't finish what she was about to say when she turn towards Ren (A wrong move) in shock she abruptly remove her gaze from the sinful man. As she was having a nosebleed from the sight of Ren with only his boxers on. "What are you doing?!" Kyoko yelled in embarrassment.

"Trying not to get sick idiot." Ren said condescendingly Kyoko.

"You can't just strip down like that in a presence of a girl!"

Ren scoffed, "Well you're not a girl anymore and don't act like this is your first time seeing a half-naked man so stop overreacting."

"Well I'm still a woman and I'm entitled of a word 'Respect'." Kyoko shot back at Ren, (She's so angry right now if he wasn't her co-star she already kick him where the sun don't shine.

"Hmm…" Kyoko watch as Ren acted as if he was thinking, "Yes you're right but you're a special case." He said sitting beside Kyoko.

"What do you mean by special case? And who told you to take a sit beside me!"

"I'm gonna help strip you're clothes off."

"W-What?!" she stuttered.

"Don't freak out on everything I said pervy girl." Ren said as he was starting to be annoyed by Kyoko's frequent and over the top reactions on everything he said.

"P-Pervy g-girl?"

"What else should I call a girl who got a nose bleed over another man?" he smirked teasingly (again) to Kyoko, "What? You think I didn't see you stealing glances at my body. You pervy girl…"

"D-Don't get ahead of yourself you PERVERT!" and with that a slapping sound echoed throughout the deserted cave.

Sho sighed leaning comfortably on his chair it's been several hours since he and Nagisa started working on the lyrics of their duet song and it was proven very tiring not just for him but also for the newbie singer. He removed his gaze from his music sheet his eyes wander off till he settle his gaze on Nagisa who has this determine look on her face which he found cute. "A hard working newbie." He thought to himself.

"Hey Nagisa."

"Y-Yes Sho-san?" Nagi said timidly.

"Do you want to go out?" he asked his chin resting on his first.

"Eh? G-Go out?" Nagi is immediately flustered at the thought of 'going out' with the famous singer. "Umm well…" she said as she started to play with her fingers.

"Come on let's have some coffee break." He said picking up his coat over the hanger.

"B-But how about the song?" Nagi asked (worriedly) standing up to follow Sho who's already waiting for her at the door.

"Don't worry about it we can work on it after we get some drink."

"W-Wait Sho-san!" Nagi grab Sho by his arm stopping him from leaving. She then (tippy-toes) so that she could reach up to him putting her hand on top of his forehead. "I'm right…you're sick."

"I'm not let's just go I want some drinks…" Leaving Nagi no choice but to follow him.

"I can't believe you slapped me." Ren said while nursing his reddening cheeks.

"W-Well it was your fault!"

"Well pervy Kyoko is to blame though." He chuckled (he again couldn't help but to tease the younger girl.

"I-I said don't call me that! Or I'm really going to hurt you." Ren grab her wrist stopping her from landing a hit on him he instead pull her towards him.

"I don't mind being hurt by you." Ren said as their gazes meet somehow…something pulling them to each other it felt like magic Kyoko closes her eyes as Ren kisses her. And it wasn't an innocent peck on the lips it was passionate and needy kiss. And for Kyoko it felt like heaven.

She didn't know what happen next she didn't know what clouded her mind what stop her from thinking this is wrong… but she didn't care right now things felt surreal it felt amazing…

"W-Wait what just happened? T-Tsuruga-san kissed me and I…kissed him back…Kami-sama what should I do?!"

Sho and Nagi ended up inside the private room drinking his fifth beer of the night.

"Sho-san you need to stop you're already drunk."

"No I'm not…" he said taking the can of beer from Nagisa's hand but she refused to let go of it. "Nagisa let go of my drink…" he demanded glaring at the younger girl.

"No this is enough Sho-san you're already drunk besides your sick you can't- ahh!" Nagisa gasped as Sho grab her shoulders pushing her down the couch.

"S-Sho-san!" her blue eyes widen as she found herself under the older man.

"Stop treating me for a fool! You said you love me but you'll leave me in the end. What do you think of me huh? A doll that won't get hurt?! Kyoko answer me!" he shouted while shaking Nagisa roughly on her shoulder. Shaking her.

"Sho-san…" Nagisa hug the older man making him settle her head on her chest. "It's alright Sho-san I won't leave you…I won't hurt you…" she soothed Sho calming him down.

"I love you but why…why does it hurt so much…why can't you pick me instead?" he said through his tears lying down over her.

After waiting for a few more hours Ren and Kyoko finally has been found by the production crew and has brought back to the shore.

"Wait Kyoko." He said he tried to touch her but she swatted his hand away.

"So this is your answer." Ren said hurt by Kyoko's action towards him.

"L-Let's just forget what happened…it was wrong we both know it…" she said looking away.

"No…" Ren said firmly.

"What?"

"You kissed me back."

"Yes I did… but It's only because I got carried away...it was wrong…so I'm asking you again to completely forget about what happened…I cannot hurt Sho…I love Sho…and I'm marrying him…"

"After all that happened? After we kiss-" he shouted earning them a curious glance from the production crew.

"Stop this Tsuruga-san I have a fiancé and what happened between us in that cave will stay there…I'm sorry…"
