"The battle isn't over yet Ren so man up there's still a lot of work to do…"

Chapter 74

"Kyoko!" Sho called his fiancée's name once he saw her sitting by the edge of the bed. When his manager informed him of the 'accident' he ended up cancelling all of his commitments for the day.

"Sho?" Kyoko asked in surprise when she saw her fiancé still panting from running fast inside the hospital to reach her.

Sho didn't waste any minute and closed the distance between them and hug her close to his chest, "I was so worried…don't make me worry again."

She was taken aback with his reaction and just hugged him back, "You have nothing to worry about I'm safe now…I love you Sho…" she said burying her face on her fiancé's chest.

"Y-Yeah me too…"

A week after the incident Ren worked double time in filming his scenes for the movie to make up for the lost time of filming due to the storm and to divert his feelings through his acting while Kyoko is avoiding him at all costs refusing to even be in the studio when Ren is filming.

"Why is the crew looking so tired?" Kyoko asked to a lighting staff.

"We are filming Ren's scenes double time, he's on a roll this week tiring all the staff when filming, it's like he doesn't want to rest saying the movie lost too much time already. Director Cameron and the producer agreed with him saying that's the kind of work ethics the industry needs."

"I see…"

"Yes and I don't know what happened with Ren but he looks so unapproachable now we're kind of scared to go talk to him."

Kyoko paused at this thinking what the staff mean, she felt as if she's the reason why he changed and she was now feeling guilty about it. Although she doesn't want to see him anytime soon after what happened with them in the cave that left heart having this weird feeling she can't explain, she needs to talk to him and say sorry for slapping him all for her foolish selfish reasons. That's why she had been avoiding him because she's afraid of whatever that feeling is in her heart.

"Damn it! I can't concentrate," Ren said as he slammed the piles of unread script he had to memorize on his table, making Kira wince from the impact.

His friend frowned. "What's wrong with you man? I presume you're moping over an orange haired gorgeous chick again," Kira drawled on. Oh how he loved to tease his friend and earn a glare from the onyx eyes-lad.

"Well thank you for stating the facts Mister Obvious, I mean I totally-don't be stupid Kira," his voice dripped with sarcasm and annoyance.

"Well, Ren, you don't need to be that grumpy geez," Kira said flatly. Leaning his back on the stool.

Then downed half of his drink in one go while Kira is (still) watching him amusedly. Noticing Kira's watchful eye he turned his gaze towards his obviously amuse friend, he glared at him.

"What?"

"Slow down man, we have all night!" Kira cheered, drinking his own share of beer in the process.

Emiko giggled joining the two male in their drinking session, "Kuon is still in a bit of trouble…"

"Yeah love life troubles…" Kira laughed and tittered at his older sister's comment, but the object of their amusement wasn't so pleased. "Shut up, Kira," he growled and put his hand in the air, signalling to the bartender he wanted another beer. "You have no idea what I'm going through."

"You know what man? Do you want a serious and honest advice." Hearing Kira's serious tone on his voice Ren couldn't help but to look up to his friend Kira has this steel serious look on his face it's totally different from his usual happy go lucky look that he always has.

"The battle isn't over yet Ren so man up there's still a lot of work to do…"

The next day Kyoko decided that this is the day she'll talk to Ren about what happened between them back at the cave. She wanted to apologize for what she said and to also tell him the reason why she did what she did.

"Okay Kyoko this is it!" Kyoko said trying to psych herself up but when she was about to turn into the corner she saw Ren she gasped and ended up hiding from his view. 'Damn it Kyoko you're supposed to talk to Tsuruga-san not hide for goodness sake!' She scolded herself. 'Okay now…don't be a coward and just face him!' she said once again to herself she has to tell him sorry.

"Ren…" a beautiful strawberry blonde haired girl called out Ren's name her eyes were dark blue it has this sultry aura in them. To Ren's surprise, the girl pulled him by his necktie and kissed him. His brown eyes widened in surprise. After seems like eternity the girl then lean her nose onto Ren's.

"Y-You… What are you…?"

"Surprise…"
