Chapter 78

"You! Don't ever do that again!" Kyoko said angrily, "Now I know why we broke up it's because we're siblings. Siblings don't kiss Tsuruga-san!"

Ren remained still to his spot, the woman he loves just rejected her. He scoffed, while running his fingers on his raven locks in frustration. It was painful beyond doubt but he has to accept it.

It's over.

"Hey Ren," Kira called out to his friend, he cocked his forehead watching his raven haired friend motionless back. "You alright?" he asked slowly.

"Yeah." Ren said, using his talent as an actor to hide his real feelings, he turned to face Kira who still has this suspicious look on his face, "What is it now?" he asked in irritation. Yeah! Kira found him out but hopefully he won't prod on the subject even further or he swear he'll start asking him again about his 'feelings' he will start throwing punches.

"Fine…" Kira sighed deeply while scratching the back of his head sheepishly, "I won't say anything…just so you know I'm here." He said patting Ren's back.

Ren in return rubbed the end of his eyebrows (as an obvious irritation), "I don't need anything…just out with it! If you're done talking then leave me alone."

"Chillax dude!" Kira said slapping Ren's back making the latter glare at him. "Don't glare too, you're creepy!" he stuttered, "Anyway I heard a news…you know your rival Fuwa Sho right? Apparently he collapsed during his concert at Tokyo Dome."

"What?"

Kyoko did not waste any time and hurried to the hospital where Sho was currently confined, but being a popular singer the news of his collapsing on his concert was a pretty big deal as a result the hospital are swarmed by concern fans and media alike making it hard for Kyoko to bypass them.

"Excuse me please let me through…" Kyoko said while being sandwiched by fans waiting for updates regarding Sho's condition outside the hospital.

"Kyoko…thank goodness you are already here." Kirito called when he saw Kyoko and pulled her inside, away from the fans.

"H-how is Sho?" She stuttered while asking.

"My son's fine he just collapsed due to lack of sleep and fatigue."

Kyoko sighed a sigh of relief, "I want to see him."

"Sure…but he may be not in the mood right now with the medicines they gave him and everything." Kirito said nervously scratching the back of his head knowing his son doesn't want to see her yet.

"Is he still mad at me?" Kyoko said looking down at her hands.

Kirito just placed a hand on Kyoko's shoulder, "I know my son loves you but what recently happened is still hurting him so no matter what you hear from him just don't take it seriously, it's just him being hurt."

Kyoko nodded knowing full well what caused Sho's pain and hurt.

She knocked on his door first before entering feeling sorry at the sight of Sho with IV fluids injected to his arm with his skin looking paler and heavy lidded eyes from his lack of sleep and constant working and drinking of alcohol to numb his pain away.

But then her eyes caught the sight of Nagi, a young singer Sho helped to enter the showbiz-ness as an idol singer.

"Oh." Nagi said, as she noticed her coming in the room, "Uhm, I'll go get something to drink Sho-san." She said quietly.

"Huh? Sure but come back quickly we still have to check on your lyrics…" Sho said, his blue eyes following her move but then that's when he noticed Kyoko's presence in the room.

Sho seeing her by the door was glad inside but didn't show it, he wanted to see Kyoko regret hurting him by acting cold towards her.

"What are you doing here? You don't have to show fake concern towards me Kyoko I can handle myself well." Sho said icily not looking directly at her.

"I…" Kyoko wasn't able to finish her sentence as tears already start to fall from her eyes.

"Leave me alone…" Sho said dismissing Kyoko not looking at her knowing he will easily forgive her if he saw her crying.

"Sho please…"

"Why are you here Kyoko?" Sho asked, as he was containing his pain, anger and sadness. His hand is now clench into a fist.

"I…" Kyoko trailed off, why is she here in the first place? Is she here because she pity him?

"Don't make things any harder for me Kyoko…because the more I see you near me…I will hopelessly hope that you will choose me over Ren…" he then scoffed, leaning his heavy back against the bed stand while containing his tears from falling his sorrow-filled azure eyes. "But of course I am just being delusional because I know you will always choose him…so please do me a favor I want to end this pain once and for all don't let me see you again."

"Sho…"

"LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE!"

"Is everything alright, why are you crying?" Sho's step mother asked when she saw Kyoko crying after leaving Sho's room.

"Yes…I just… I hurt him so much and he can't forgive me now." Kyoko said crying on Sho's step mother

His step mother embraced her back and consoled the crying girl by rubbing her back up and down and said, "Sho loves you and will forgive you he's just going through something right now, how about you surprise him when he gets dismissed from the hospital?"

Kyoko smiled and nodded as an idea popped into her mind on a way to surprise Sho.

"I heard Kyoko dropped by to visit you but you dismissed her." Shoko said as she arranges the flowers and get well soon cards given to her talent.

"I have no reason to see her."

"You may say that but your expression tells me differently." Shoko remarked and sat at Sho's bed and held his hand. "She's doing everything to show you how sorry she is."

Sho runs his fingers to his blonde bangs thinking deeply of the words Shoko said.

"I haven't seen Kyoko for a while now." Shien said to no one in particular while staying inside Ren's dressing room.

"She's done with her scenes." Ren replied bluntly.

"Oh...Ren I have a favour to ask you dear."

"What is it?" Ren asked after he finished fixing his tie.

"I need you to be there for me on my dress rehearsal, Michael is still busy in his business and can't join me as a good friend and best man in our wedding I trust you to be there for me as I try my wedding gown."

"Fine…"

Sho felt lonely as he entered his house alone dark and without life, since Kyoko left after he broke off their engagement his house have no life inside it anymore. As he opened the door to his home a familiar song being sung by Kyoko is heard throughout the house.

In this moving time, we met by chance, didn't we, you and I?
This overflowing feeling won't disappear because I'm keeping it warm

I want to be with you, in the shining future

Brand New Breeze, I've never felt it before, this feeling
just for you, so I won't ever lose it

"Could it be…" Sho thought to himself as he listened to the song he sung when he proposed to Kyoko before this time it is Kyoko singing it for him who slowly walks towards him wearing the dress he gave to her as a gift on their first year anniversary.

"Sho, I am sorry for the things I did to hurt you. I love you and you are the one I want to marry so please, forgive me and marry me?" Kyoko asked smiling as she showed to him her engagement ring.

"Silly girl…" Sho said blushing and hugged her tight for her not to see his flushed cheeks. "Of course I will still marry you Kyoko."

Their friends and family watching clapped their hands congratulating them as the lights lit up inside Sho's house.

"I'm sorry Ren but it is Sho that I choose…." Kyoko thought before kissing her fiancé.
