Chapter 79
With A Quivering Heart
"How is he doctor?" Shien asked with her arm wrapped around her fiancé.
The doctor tending to Ren closed his chart and adjusted his glasses, "He's fine now, thankfully he didn't suffer any damage inside his brain but his body sustained some bruises and swelling due to the impact but nothing worse than his dislocated left elbow that needed to be placed in a cast to facilitate healing."
"That is good news right?" Michael asked not understanding everything the Japanese doctor said.
Shien smiled and said in English, "Yes love he's fine now. We should just leave him alone to rest. Kira and Emiko are on their way now."
"Good riddance, get well soon Ren." Michael said as he patted Ren's shoulder and left with Shien.
Kyoko immediately went to the hospital after learning the accident of Ren on the news.
"What room is Tsuruga Ren confined at?"
The receptionist looked at her before asking the older woman recognized her but decided to keep professional.
"May I ask who are for verification and some identification please?"
"Mogami Kyoko, I am his co-actress in a movie." Kyoko answered and showed her LME ID.
"I see, his room number is 1010. It is located at the 10th floor"
Kyoko said her thanks and went to the elevator and keyed in the floor Ren is staying at, as the elevator door closed she closed her eyes seeing not her forgotten memories but the way she treated him during her amnesia.
"Kyoko?" He asked in disbelief his heart beating rapidly in his chest for he had been waiting for this moment for two years.
"Excuse me do we know each other?" Kyoko asked innocently.
"Wait Kyoko." He said he tried to touch her but she swatted his hand away.
"So this is your answer." Ren said hurt by Kyoko's action towards him.
"L-Let's just forget what happened…it was wrong we both know it…" she said looking away.
"No…" Ren said firmly.
"What?"
"You kissed me back."
"Yes I did… but It's only because I got carried away...it was wrong…so I'm asking you again to completely forget about what happened…I cannot hurt Sho…I love Sho…and I'm marrying him…"
"After all that happened? After we kiss-" he shouted earning them a curious glance from the production crew.
"Stop this Tsuruga-san I have a fiancé and what happened between us in that cave will stay there…I'm sorry…"
"I said it doesn't matter…I don't care about your answer." Kyoko sighed, "If that's the reason why you call me out here then I'm leaving." She said but before she could take a single step she felt a hand grab her from behind and the next thing she knew is like a blur as she felt a warm moisture on her lips and now she's in the arms of Tsuruga Ren. Realizing what just happen with all her strength she push the taller man away from her. Harshly…
"Kyo…Kyoko…" Ren eyes widen as he saw tears streaming down Kyoko's cheeks.
"You! Don't ever do that again!" Kyoko said angrily, "Now I know why we broke up it's because we're siblings. Siblings don't kiss Tsuruga-san!"

Outside Ren's hospital room Kyoko dropped to her knees letting her tears fall freely from her eyes.
"I hurt him too much without me knowing and I am also hurting another man who loves me by coming here, but I have to talk to Ren I have to explain to him everything…I have to tell him I still love him that I fell in love with him again..."
However Kyoko is more afraid of what Ren will say to her after she hurt him too much already that she didn't have enough courage to go to him and say what she needed to say and just left the hospital without even saying anything.
Without Kyoko knowing Sho followed her and heard everything she said in front of Ren's door.
"So...this is it huh..." Sho scoffed to himself before deciding to leave for his doctors appointment. Leaving Kyoko to sort things out herself.
"Japan's number one male singer Fuwa Sho recorded a brand new single with the rising popular singer Nagisa Shinohara, our radio station is lucky to play the song for all our listeners for the first time. Here it is the latest from Fuwa Sho and Nagisa Shinohara 'Last Kiss' enjoy."

Kyoko was in deep thought inside the taxi cab she hired on the way back to her apartment when she heard Sho's latest song on the radio. She listened at the lyrics by the heart crying for it was as if Sho is saying goodbye to her and made a decision that was right according to morals, to marry her fiancé Sho and try to forget about Ren again.
"You need to eat you know." Kira said as he placed a bento box on top of Ren's lap.
"I'm not hungry." Ren replied watching at the television inside his hospital room.
Kira sighed, "Hey sis can you feed Ren?"
Emiko who is busy arranging the flowers coming from fans and entertainment industry glared sharply at her brother, "I'm busy here besides don't force Ren when he's looking like that."
"Whatever." Kira crossed his arms and watched at the television as well.
After the program they are watching ended, a showbiz news appeared on the screen showing Sho and Kyoko holding hands being interviewed by a reporter.
"They said the wedding date is set. When will it be?"
"At the end of the month." Sho replied.
"Eager to marry Kyoko are we?" The reporter teased.
"Not me but her, she even proposed to me you know." Sho returned grinning.
Ren was about to throw the remote control at the screen but Kira beat him to it and turned off the television, "Geez Ren-"
"Shut it." Ren cut Kira off and turned away from him hurting his casted elbow in the process, "Damn."
"Don't put any strain on your elbow." Emiko reminded when he heard Ren curse.
Ren instead just covered his eyes with his right arm forcing himself to sleep.
Sho returned to his doctor who tended to him during his fatigue for a follow up check-up and after his follow up check-up he saw his future mother in law leaving a consultant's room together with Kyoko's personal driver Himuro. Curiously he followed them to check what room they went out of.
"Genetics Department? Why would the two of them go here?" He asked confused as to why Saena would go with Himuro inside if he just drove her.
"Excuse me can I help you?" A nurse who is about to enter the Genetics department asked.
"Uhmm yes, can I ask what you cater inside?"
"We handle the genetics of the human being, people wanting to have some dna test done come to us for testing and verification." He nurse answered almost immediately.
"DNA testing?"
"Yes, parents who are doubtful of their child come to us for dna testing or those who died being burnt to find out if it was their loved one or not."
Instead of getting answers Sho just got more questions as to why Saena would go with Himuro inside a department of the hospital doing DNA tests?
