Chapter 80

"You're Free..."

Wanting to find out more about Himuro and Saena, Sho asked his assistant to hire the services of Himuro to drive him to work for the entire day.

To break the silence Sho initiated the conversation casually, "What can you say about Saena-san?" he asked discreetly.

Himuro looked up to the centre mirror to look into the raven haired man's face, "Well I don't really know…"

Sho crossed his legs, "Is that all?"

"Yes, is there something you're trying to imply?"

"No, I was just trying to start a conversation." Nice save! Sho told himself.

Himuro just shrugged his shoulders.

"You are hiding something and I will find out what is it sooner or later…"

"Kyoko-chan!" Moko-san surprised Kyoko who had been staring at her ramen.

"Moko-san you really surprise me there." Kyoko said holding her chest with her hand, "Don't do that again please."

"Yeah right, I mean you've been staring at your food aren't you hungry?"

"I am!" Kyoko replied and ate her ramen quickly but as she was half finished with her food, her tears fall from her eyes surprising Moko who moved beside her friend rubbing her back.

"Kyoko what's wrong?"

"Ren…my memories had returned and...I remember him…" She answered hugging her friend and cried on her shoulder. "And now he hates me…I don't what I should do."

"The insurance company just called insisting you to return to states as soon as you can to arrange some papers there regarding your accident." Yashiro said noting the change in Ren's schedule in his phone.

Ren just sighed and returned to his sleeping.

After his commitments for the day Sho asked Himuro to take him back to his home but after he was returned to his home he went to Kyoko's apartment to investigate something about Saena on his own, knowing Kyoko is still busy for a shooting at LME. Using a spare key Kyoko gave him he entered inside, seeing the house is still dark without its occupants. He searched through Saena's room even if he knows that what he is doing is wrong he must still do it for his fiancés sake knowing she is somehow involved into Saena and Himuro's secret.

Searching through her documents, he stumbled upon an envelope coming from the hospital and read its contents.

"It can't be…" He said to himself shock at his discovery. He doesn't have a chance to comprehend what he just read when a sound of a door unlocking alerted Sho as he hurried up in arranging Saena's things back to what it was before and discreetly left the apartment through the back door using the fire exit to go down.

With a new found information and knowledge of Kyoko having her memories returned to her, Sho sat in his couch drinking whiskey while staring at the wedding rings for his wedding with Kyoko on top of his coffee table. Thinking of the right thing to do with such a little time.

"Why are our fates always being played at…I love you Kyoko…"

"Today is Sho and Kyoko's wedding aren't you going there to stop the wedding?" Kira asked looking at his friend lying in the hospital bed staring at the ceiling above him.

"What for? She already made her choice."

"Ren loves Kyoko so much to let her go to the man she now loves, for that I am proud of you." Shien said placing a hand on Ren's shoulder.

"I shouldn't have left her…if only I had enough strength to fight for her before this wouldn't have happened." Ren said full of regret.

"But still…anyways when will you be returning to the states?" Shien asked changing the topic.

"The day after tomorrow, I will be staying there for good."

At the private island where Sho and Kyoko will be marrying, Kyoko is staring at her reflection in the mirror telling herself to stop feeling sorry for herself and just be happy that she should be.

"Kyoko are you ready?" Saena called for her from the door.

Kyoko nodded and proceeded to go with her mother to the car that is waiting for them that will take them to where the wedding ceremony will take place.

"Smile Kyoko." Saena whispered to her daughter while they are inside the car.

She wanted to smile because it is her wedding day and all but she can't make herself smile she was never a good faker.

Reaching the small chapel, Kyoko slowly went out of the car looking at the guests smiling at her looking at her beautifully in her wedding dress. She smiled for them thinking everything will be over soon that she must only think of her future husband Sho not Ren who is her brother and the man he loves.

Reaching the altar Sho took her arm and smiled at her and whispered in her ear, "Do you still want to marry me?"

Kyoko tightens her hold on the bouquet of flowers she's carrying afraid to give her honest answer for she doesn't want to hurt the man who redeemed his stupid mistake on her in the past and did nothing but love her.

Sho knew what her answer will be but he still asked her hoping her decision will change in the end and choose him. Maybe the two years of being in a relationship with her is his retribution for breaking her heart before besides it was him who pushed her to the arms of Ren at least he can still make up for the pain and wrong things that he put her through.

He reached for his coat pocket and handed over a letter for her.

Kyoko looking confused looked up at him, "What is this?"

"Read it while we are travelling back to Tokyo, someone's waiting for you there. Or do you want to make the biggest mistake of your life by marrying me?"

"What, but I chose you Sho…" Kyoko said as her tears are again starting to fall.

"No Kyoko you don't and It's alright." Sho whispered to her ear. "We can tell everybody that I don't want to continue the wedding because I don't want to get married and or you can tell everybody that I cheated on you so you don't wanna marry me. They will believe that since I have that reputation." he said with self depreciating huff.

Kyoko's confused more than ever but at the same time relieve but then lying to everyone putting Sho under a spot light to another scandal will be bad for his career and her as well. She could say yes and agree to Sho's offer right there and then but thinking back in two years they were together he's been nothing but good to her genuinely love her and did everything to make up to the past he put her through but then...

But then...

"I don't understand you Sho!"

"Deep inside your heart I know you know..."

"Sho.."

"I'm giving you back you're freedom, Kyoko you're free..."

"What is going to happen now?"

Saena, Sho's parents and the guests looks at the couple looking confused as to what the two are talking about.

"Excuse me but will we still continue the wedding?" The priest asked at the two.

"No, I'm sorry for the trouble father but we are not continuing this wedding." Sho said politely and drag Kyoko with him outside the chapel.

Before they could leave the chapel Saena blocked their way demanding an answer.

"What are you doing Shotaro?"
