Chapter 82

"I Will Endure Everything"

The racing beat of her heart pulsated throbbing and pounding nonstop against her chest piercing through her veins as she hopelessly watch Ren walking away from her in slow motion her tears flows down her cheek like a river turning her vision into blurry haze.

Despite all her fears and hesitation she can't help but muster what little courage she had left. She can't let Ren leave! The resolve inside of her heart keeps on telling her like a broken tape recorder to keep fighting for the love of her life and that's what she will do.

Kyoko you have to tell him the truth…

you have to tell him sorry for everything

For hurting him…

For forgetting him…

Sniffling a sob and putting a weak smile on her face she said, "I know I have lots of things to be sorry about for everything that had happen between us... you have every right to be angry to resent me even hate me but despite all of that I am willing to endure everything because you endured everything for me," Kyoko sniffed wiping her tears profusely, turning to look up to Ren as she did so. "I will endure everything because this heart." She said pointing to her chest. "Skip a beat for only one person and that is you Tsuruga Ren."

"I love you so much please don't go Ren.."

Kyoko blinks as she hears Ren starts to chuckle in amusement.

"So stupid…so foolish, you're all of it but yet I still find myself drawn to you…" Ren said closing their distance his hand reaching out to Kyoko's cheek wiping the tears cascading down her cheek.

Claps and cheers were heard inside the airport for the two popular actor and actress have finally reconciled.

"S-So d-does this mean I'm forgiven?" Kyoko asked Ren still shock that Ren had seemingly forgiven her not that she has anything to complain but its just too sudden that she's still has doubts that Ren might only been acting or what's happening right is just a figment of her imagination.

"To tell you the truth I was ready to turn my back on you I want to hurt you the way you hurt me but hearing you say you love me fucked it all up for me..." Ren sighed as he ran a finger on his raven locks his handsome face reflects how exhausted and worn out he is, "I tried to forget about you the way you easily forgot about me but I simply can't.."

"I-I'm so sorry Ren for everything..." Kyoko sobbed.

"Don't cry you dumbass...I love you too." Ren said sweetly as he wipe Kyoko's tears away.

"I love you too Ren so much..."

"I am still leaving though, I have matters to attend to. We will talk more about this when I return."

Kyoko nodded and understood him, the words were short but she knew this time Ren is not leaving for good he will return for her.

Ren kissed her fully on the lips before he left.

Not long after Sho explained to the press and the fans including his family the reason why he and Kyoko can't get married. Both he and Kyoko became the best of friends after everything that happened to them. He even become more popular and even got invited to do a Bollywood tour.

The night before Sho left for his international tour he dropped by Kyoko's apartment to properly say his final goodbyes.

"I guess this is goodbye." Sho said smiling at Kyoko.

Kyoko nodded and bowed at him, "Good luck, I wish you success in your tour."

Before he entered his car he looked back at Kyoko and asked, "I was wondering when you lost your memory and still with me, did you still fell in love with Ren when you met and got to know him again?"

"The heart knows who the heart wants, even then when I have no memory of Ren when I saw him again I felt something in my heart I can't explain. No matter how much I tried to ignore it whenever I am with you, my heart keeps on telling me to love Ren." Kyoko said with tears on her eyes.

"I always knew even then that you love him." Sho said before he entered his car and left.

"I'm sorry Sho but my heart always belongs to Ren."

Five months later...

"And cut!" The director shouted to cue the end of the scene Kyoko was vurrently doing along with her co-actor. "Thanks for the wonderful job you did today all of you are dismissed for now we will resume filming again next week."

Everyone in the set clapped for a no NG shooting day, praising the work of everyone involved.

"Mogami-san we noticed that your hometown is nearby do you want us to drive you there or do you want to return to Tokyo with us?" A prop manager asked to Kyoko who just finished changing her clothes.

"My hometown?" She thought to herself years hve gone by since she returned there and decided to drop by. "Thanks I would like to go there if it's not a bother to you guys."

"No problem Mogami-san."

The familiar place, faces and scent of trees surrounding from her childhood welcomed Kyoko that brought a huge smile on her face. She dropped by the onsen she worked for before owned that are owned by Sho's parents to greet and pay her respects to them.

Kyoko reflected on how far she reached from becoming an ordinary servant girl to becoming the number one actress in Japan. Sho's parents offered a room for her to stay in for the night that she politely declined, for she needed to be return to Tokyo that night.

After she said her goodbyes to the people she knew in the area Kyoko went to the place she had been longing to see, the place where she first met her fairy Corn or Kuon her Ren.

The sun was about to set when she reached the lake, Kyoko's heartbeat seemed to stop at the sight she saw by the lake.

"I..." Kyoko tried to say something but the erratic beating of her heart and the tears of joy about to fall from her eyes prevented her from saying whatever she wanted to say.

Turning around Ren looked into Kyoko's eyes with a smile that always melted Kyoko's heart, "After all this time you are still crying at this place."

"Baka...I...I am just happy to see you." Kyoko said after wiping her tears and smiled her lovely smile to Ren.

Slowly Ren walked towards Kyoko and embraced her, "I know, I am glad you liked my surprise to you."

Kyoko nodded happy to finally be reunited with the man she's been waiting to return for 3 months, the man she loves more than anything.

"I am a good actor portraying his characters but when it is already the real me I am not good, Kyoko please bear with me."

She nodded, letting him continue with what he wanted to say.

Placing his forehead over hers he continued while grazing his thumb over Kyoko' cheek, "I am a broken man Kyoko, I tend to hurt the people that are close to me I even hurted you because of my selfish actions. I even caused the death of the only person who stood by my side when no one wanted to."

"I forgave you already don't let it burden your heart anymore." Kyoko said to reassure him wondering why Ren is opening to him like this but let him continue.

"I've played with women's hearts before just to satisfy my desires. I am not a good man Kyoko, but when I met you again after many years since we first met here when we were young and showed me your undying spirit I decided to help you. Along the way while helping you, you showed me that there is still good left in me and because of that I fell in love with you."

Kyoko's tears fell as she listened to Ren's revelation to her. Reaching to his pocket, Ren opened a ring box revealing a ring with a pink diamond shaped as a heart on it and kneel in front of Kyoko.

"I want you by my side forever Mogami Kyoko, make me the happiest man in the world by marrying me and let me love you for the rest of our lives together."
