Sonic and Tails fly through the interdimensional corridor, wondering where it's gonna take them.

Sonic: Great. More world traveling. And we just came back too.

Tails: Where are we even going, anyway?

Sonic: Who knows. Hopefully somewhere not as deadly.

Suddenly, they see a light dead ahead.

Tails: Look! Over there!

Sonic: That must be the exit. Hang on, pal!

Sonic and Tails: WOOOOOOOOAAAAAAHHHHH!

Meanwhile, in what looks to be modern day Japan, a couple of students wearing green and white uniforms get together after classes and walk around town to celebrate their success in the Nine Schools Competition.

Erika: Well, congrats everybody.

Honoka: Thanks. It's all thanks to Tatsuya for managing our CAD's.

Shizuku: We would have failed if it wasn't for him.

Tatsuya: There has been some conflict during the competition, but we were able to get it resolved.

Leo: So some organization was responsible for messing with everybody's CAD's?

Tatsuya: That's right. We were able to figure them out, and so I took care of them.

Mikihiko: They just had to ruin everything.

Miyuki: Well, look on the bright side. They've already been taken care of.

Mizuki: She's right, so there's nothing to worry about now...

Suddenly, a portal opens behind them, drawing their attention.

Mikihiko: What the heck?!

Miyuki: Is that a portal?

Tatsuya: I'm not sure what's going on, but be ready.

Everybody takes out their CAD's and ready their magic. As they do, a certain blue hedgehog and orange two-tailed fox shoot out of the portal.

Sonic and Tails: GAHHHHH!

Tails landed on the ground safely, but Sonic ended up hitting a fruit stand. As he did, he got a little dizzy.

Sonic: Oh... jeez...

A couple of apples hit his head.

Sonic: Ow.

Tails: You okay, Sonic?

Sonic: Yeah. I'm fine. Jeez, this is why I hate portal hopping.

Tails: Well, what you see is what you get.

Tails helps his best friend up.

Sonic: Yeah. Huh. Looks like we're in modern day Japan.

Tails: Yeah. But something feels completely different.

Sonic: You can say that again.

The students look at the duo, confused entirely.

Leo: Who are they?

Erika: A hedgehog and a fox wearing gloves and shoes? Did they come out of the cartoon world or something?

Honoka: More importantly, why does that fox have 2 tails?

Tatsuya: They don't seem to be hostile. We should approach them calmly and hear them out first.

Miyuki: I agree. It's probably safer if we do that than to resort to violence.

They approach the duo.

Tatsuya: Excuse me.

Sonic: Huh? Oh, hi. You guys students or something?

Tatsuya: Can you tell us who you are and where you're from?

Sonic: Oh yeah. I'm Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog.

Tails: I'm Tails. And basically, you guys saw that portal and you can already guess that we're from another dimension. More importantly, where are we right now? It looks like modern day Japan, but something's different.

Sonic: Yeah. It's like we traveled in some kind of future or something. Wait. What year is it right now?

Tatsuya: It's 2095.

Suddenly, there is a big silence among the entire group. After a few seconds...

Sonic: Why is everyone quiet all of a sudden?

Tails: I dunno. It's like one of those dramatic parts in the movies where everybody gets silent and waits long enough for everybody to talk.

Sonic: Oh like right now?

Tails: Yeah.

Tatsuya: May we continue?

They all go and get something to eat and talk things out.

Leo: So you two are from another dimension, right? Can you tell us why you're here?

Sonic: Well, you see we were fighting some evil scientist who is my arch-nemesis. And he opened up a portal, sending me and Tails to this dimension.

Mikihiko: I'm pretty skeptical about this, but I've already seen that portal.

Miyuki: So you're trying to get back to your world to fight him, right?

Tails: I'm not sure what he has planned, but it looks like he's trying to slow us down long enough to complete it.

Sonic: It's gonna be the same thing as always. I win and he gets mad. It's like an infinite time loop. It's kind of hilarious seeing him get mad over his failure.

Tails: I love when he says "Grr! That hedgehog makes me so mad! I hate him!" Oh I know a good impression! Ahem! Mwahahahaha! I am Eggs Benedict Arnold! And I love my mustache and I smell like a monkey!

Sonic and Tails: PFFT! HAHAHAHAHA!

Honoka: Oh boy.

Erika: We just met these two, and there's something about them that makes you wanna smile.

Tails: Grrr! That hedgehog always foils my plans! I'm gonna go make some scrambled eggs and create the breakfast of the ultimate clubhouse apocalypse!

Sonic: Oh man! Hahahahaha! Wonder what would happen if the zombie eggpocalypse was real.

Tails: We wouldn't want that to happen, now would we.

Tatsuya: Ahem!

Sonic: Oh, right. So this scientist's name is Dr. Robotnik. Also known as Eggman. And as always, he's attempting world domination.

Tails: He turns innocent animals into robots so that he could have an army that serves him.

Miyuki: Robots? That's just cruel!

Tails: We know. But Sonic is always rescuing those animals. Whenever a badnik gets destroyed, it releases a captive animal.

Honoka: Wow. You're such an nice person, Sonic.

Sonic: It's what I do, really.

Tails: Sonic's a famous hero in our world. He always goes around helping people in trouble.

Shizuku: I can see that.

Sonic: By the way, we didn't get your names.

Tatsuya: I'm Tatsuya Shiba. This is my little sister, Miyuki.

Erika: I'm Erika Chiba.

Mizuki: Mizuki Shibata.

Leo: Leonhard Saijou. But my friends call me Leo.

Mikihiko: My name is Mikihiko Yoshida.

Shizuku: I'm Shizuku Kitayama.

Honoka: And I'm Honoka Mitsui.

Miyuki: I hope we get along just fine, Sonic, Tails.

Sonic: Likewise.

Tails: Yeah.

They shake hands.

Sonic: Well, the first thing we gotta do is figure out a way to get back to our world.

Tails: Right. We gotta stop Eggman before he finishes his plan.

Sonic: I know I'm asking much from you guys, but can you lend us a hand?

Tatsuya: If you're trying to get back to your world, then I'll help.

Miyuki: I will too.

Erika: I can tell that you guys aren't lying. Hey, we'll show you around our school too!

Honoka: That's a great idea! They're not from this world, so they probably don't know too much about it.

Sonic: Wow. Thanks.

Mikihiko: We'll tell you everything we know about this world.

Sonic: Thanks, guys.

Tails: We could use a little history lesson. It's 2026 in our world, so we're pretty far back from this time.

Mizuki: Can you tell us about your world as well?

Sonic: Sure! We'll tell you all about our adventures as well.
