Meanwhile, in the other dimension, the team has taken back nearly all of South Island, but right now, they're trying to figure out a way to bring Sonic and Tails back.

Knuckles: We need to go back to Eggman's base. It's the only way we're gonna get Sonic and Tails back.

Weiss: I know you're worried about them, Knuckles. But since we left, Robotnik has gotten a complete army of badniks guarding his base.

Pyrrha: We need a few more people than we already have if we're going to succeed.

Vector: Yeah. We're going to need lots of friends to help us. Question is, who can we call?

?: Hey guys.

Ruby: Huh?

A boy who's a little younger than Ruby named Oscar Pine shows up.

Oscar: It's... been a while.

Oscar: I heard about the whole South Island incident so I thought I could help out.

Jaune: That makes sense. We could use all the help we can get.

Oscar: I didn't come alone, though.

Ruby and Yang's dad and uncle show up as well.

Qrow: Sorry I'm late. Had to get this lazy bum up and running.

Taiyang: Come on, Qrow. You're the lazy one around here.

Yang: Dad?

Team CFVY and FNKI show up next.

And then Sun Wukong, Neptune Vasilias, and Penny Polendina.

Team CRDL shows up.

Professor Oobleck: You can't expect to do all of this on your own, can you?

Ironwood: We also found out that the grimm are back. Though there aren't that many at the moment.

Qrow: The question is, what caused the grimm to come back from extinction? Salem is long gone, so...

Mighty: Yeah. We could use all the help.

Knuckles: Pretty sure Sonic's not dating anybody in whatever dimension he's at. They're probably looking for a way back themselves, but that doesn't mean we can't do something on our end.

Qrow: The echidna's right. We don't have time to sit and wait. So since we're all here, we're going to launch an attack on Eggman's base, and get our hands on that machine he used to send Sonic and Tails to that other dimension.

Ironwood walks up to Ruby and gives her an address card.

Ironwood: Meet us here tomorrow morning, and we'll discuss our plan.

Ruby: R-Right.

Ruby and Oscar look at each other, and their faces turn a little red.

Ruby: H-Hey Oscar.

Oscar: Hey Ruby. Yeah, it's been a while.

Charmy: Wow. Something must be going on between those two.

Pyrrha: You could stay they both have a crush on each other.

Yang: Heh heh. Hey Ruby.

Ruby: Huh?

Yang: Don't be afraid to tell Oscar how you feel.

Now her face turns entirely red and...

Ruby: AHHHHHHHHH!

She runs off into the sunset, screaming from the embarrassment.

Weiss: I think you crossed the line, Yang.

Yang: She's gotta do it one way or another.

Mighty: Okay. We'll meet up tomorrow and go over the plan. Since Tails isn't here, we're gonna need a brain on our side.

Glynda: We got that covered. Just make sure you arrive tomorrow.

Knuckles: Right.
