While Tatsuya and his friends are at school, Sonic and Tails venture around the city, looking for something to do.
Tails: I gotta say, Miyuki sure is pretty.
Sonic: Yeah. She is.
Tails: I was really surprised when we saw her.
Sonic: I wonder what kind of magic she uses.
Tails: Tatsuya said she uses ice magic. I think it's called Niflheim.
Sonic: Niflheim? Isn't that one of the 9 realms of Norse Mythology? The land of frost?
Tails: Yeah. That makes sense. So that magic ability is named after Niflheim from Norse Mythology. I remember that quest we took on back in ALO for Excalibur.
Sonic: Jotunheim was all covered in snow. But we were able to save both that world and Alfheim. And I gotta say, Tonki sure was a good friend.
Tails: Despite him being really huge and kind of scary at first.
Sonic: Don't let Leafa hear that. Hah!
As they laugh out loud, a truck pulls in and a bunch of terrorist looking people aim their weapons at Sonic and Tails.
Terrorist 1: Don't move!
Tails: What?!
Sonic: Who are you?
Terrorist 2: You're coming with us, hedgehog.
Sonic: Says who?
Terrorist 3: We can't tell you that. This will be easy if you come with us.
Sonic: Oh yeah?
Terrorist 1: Yeah.
Sonic: Oh yeah?!
Terrorist 1: Yeah!
Sonic: OH YEAH?!
Terrorist 1: SHUT UP AND COME WITH US ALREADY!
Sonic: How about no.
With his blazing fast speed, Sonic takes out pretty much everybody.
Terrorist 2: How did we get knocked out that fast?!
Sonic: My name ain't Sonic for nothing, pal.
Tails: You know it!
Something big appears behind them.
Sonic: Something tells me we're in big trouble now.
Tails: Yeah.
They look behind them and see a large man named Gonghu Lu.
Sonic: This guy looks even more tough than Bark.
Tails: You think?
Gonghu tries to grab them, but they quickly escape.
Sonic: You wanna fight, tough guy? Come get it!
Gonghu: Hmph!
Sonic charges his spin dash to the max and releases. But hardly did any damage to the Man-Eating Tiger.
Sonic: Uh oh.
As the hero is wide open, Gonghu grabs him. Sonic struggles as he tries to break free from his grasp.
Tails: Sonic!
He also grabs the little fox.
Sonic: No! Let him go, you brute!
Gonghu implants a sleeping toxin on both of them, making them unconscious. As soon as they come to, they find themselves in a room, tied up, sitting in chairs.
Sonic: Tails? Where are we?
Tails: I'm not sure. We were both unconscious when that big guy grabbed us. But why did those people even try to get us.
Sonic: It probably has to do with the fact that we're from another dimension. I'm not surprised people like them would be interested in us.
A man named Xiangshan Chen comes in.
Sonic: Oh hey. What's your story?
Chen: I'm the Special Ops Captain of the Great Asian Union. Xiangshan Chen.
Sonic: Okay. Tell me why you're kidnapping us.
Chen: We heard you're from another dimension.
Sonic: Big surprise there! Yeah! Let me guess. You heard about us over the internet and you decided to send your goons out to kidnap us and now that we're here, you plan to use us to do evil things?
Chen: ...
Tails: That silence explains it.
Sonic: Well here's the thing. We don't wanna work with you guys. We just wanna go home.
Chen: If you cooperate with us, we'll be able to send you home.
Tails: Nice try. We're not stupid enough to fall for that.
Sonic: Also, I wouldn't watch the mouth. I'd watch the hands.
Sonic spreads his hands out as he is free from the strings that tied him up.
Chen: Huh?
And so, the blue hero frees his friend, knocks down Chen, and the duo escapes together.
Sonic: Time to go, pal!
Tails: Hold on. I wanna find out what these guys are up to.
Sonic: Okay.
They look for Chen's office and Tails sits on the chair, typing away.
Tails: Let's see. Password? Got that already. Now let's go into their search history, shall we?
He looks into the files and finds some plans for an attack.
Tails: Looks like these guys are planning to attack Yokohama. During the Thesis Competition.
Sonic: The Thesis Competition? Isn't that in a few days?
Tails: Yeah.
Tails pulls out a flash drive and puts the files inside.
Tails: We better warn Tatsuya and the others about this.
Sonic: Let's hurry on outta...
They were stopped by Gonghu.
Sonic: Oh it's you again!
Sonic grabs the flash drive.
Sonic: Looking for this? Well too bad.
Gonghu tries to catch Sonic, but wasn't able to keep up with his super fast speed.
Sonic: Can't touch this!
He punches and kicks Gonghu in the face a few times and uses his spin dash to knock him on the ground.
Sonic: Let's go!
The duo finally makes their escape to warn the people at First High.
