I did something very similar to this a while ago called Mr steal your girl. Well I'm back again with another affair type story. This time it's one I thought the show would actually do. Also once again I am not bringing Noah into this and I'm also not saying that what Olivia does is correct. I am also going to do something a bit differnet with this by addressing the reader in the book. Let me know what you think.
Secret Lovers Part 1
It starts by a simple text late at night whilst Captain Olivia Benson is working late.
No that's a lie.
It starts when she sees the look in his eye when he realises that yes she is infact sleeping with the Captain at IAB Ed Tucker.
The next half of the lie I've just told is that Ed Tucker had already tried calling her that night before the text, to see when she was coming over. She didn't want to be flirty tonight. She just wanted a quiet night. Maybe a drink of wine and a crappy movie. Maybe reading a book. She didn't care.
Until the text... That text. That message on her phone that she thought was from Ed Tucker but was from Rafael Barba. She looks up at her clock and sighs before flicking in her notes to see what he could possibly need to talk to her about.
8:22PM: Hi, I know you are probably with Tucker so I'll make this (soon to be probably pointless) text short. Would you like to come out to dinner with me? Maybe a bottle of wine and burger from that place you want to try. If you are at work don't worry about going to change.
She hates how he always assumes that she is with Ed. She knows that Rafael really doesn't like Tucker and she knows that Tucker isn't too fond of the sarcastic and quick on his feet ADA. Just as she is about to reply Ed calls her again and she contemplates picking up.
No. She doesn't want to see him tonight.
8:24pm: Tonight?
8:25pm: Yes. If you want to.
She takes a deep breath and as she is about to accept the ADA's offer her phone buzzes with a text from Tucker.
8:27pm: I have an early meeting tomorrow so I will be going to bed at 9:30.
She looks at the message and decides to ignore it and types out a quick yes to Barba before picking up her belongings and going to meet Rafael at the burger bar.
