Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and never brought to mind? 150-word drabble.
Written way back in January for the 'Drabbles Every Weekend' challenge at SPN BigPretzel on LiveJournal, the title now seems pretty prescient given what the rest of the year brought.

It Never Rains but it Pours
Shaking the worst of the water off his jacket, Dean sat at the bar. Here seemed as good as anywhere to wait for Sam, he decided, while escaping the torrential downpour outside.
"Don't I know you from somewhere?" he asked, as, without prompting, the oddly familiar-looking barman placed a beer in front of him with a crooked smile.
"You saved me from that thing," said the man. "You know, with all the teeth like needles?"
"Me too," said the woman appearing at Dean's side, her cold hand resting on his. The grip that held him in place was unexpectedly firm for someone of her slight stature.
"It's just a shame its friends came by after you left and finished the job," she added with a too-toothy grin that now matched that of the bartender.
"It never rains but it pours," sighed Dean, reaching for his knife with his free hand.
