By the time lunch was over and Enji was ready to leave, Hanako was convinced that someone or something was still following her. She found it difficult to focus and her mind wandered as she tried to figure out what was making her feel this way.

Keigo and Enji had been observing her behaviors as well, sensing that something was bothering her.

"Is she alright?" Enji asked. "She's acting differently than she was earlier."

"She's definitely not acting like herself," Keigo noted, agreeing.

The clock struck at the next hour's mark and Hanako jumped, realizing that she had been spacing out. She tried to refocus her attention on her duties, but then she noticed that Enji was getting ready to leave so she quickly grabbed her notepad.

"Well, let me know if you find out anything more," Keigo said, standing with him.

Enji nodded, then turned to Hanako as she tapped on his arm to grab his attention. "What is it?" He saw her holding out a notepad to him and read what she had written for him.

'I just wanted to apologize for earlier. I hope that I did not offend you, sir. I hope that you enjoyed the bento, as well. I know it's probably much simpler than what you may be accustomed to, but they did come highly recommended.'

Enji shifted his gaze to hers and smirked. "You have nothing to worry about. And the bento was acceptable, thank you."

Hanako sighed with relief and offered him a smile.

"I'll be right back, Miss Itami," Keigo said, unsure if he should leave her alone or not.

Hanako bowed to Enji before he left the office with Keigo, then set about cleaning everything up.

'Endeavor isn't nearly as bad as I thought he would be,' she thought to herself as she cleaned.

She went to the sink and began washing the tea mugs, thinking that she was just exhausted from a long day at work until she felt shivers running down her spine again. She spun, but again found nothing.

'What is the feeling? Am I going crazy?'

She searched the room, but still found nothing.

'Maybe it was the AC?'

The AC unit was off.

'This is getting really creepy and weird...'

A hand touched her shoulder and she nearly jumped out of her skin, knocking over the vase on Keigo's desk as she fell into the desk.

"Miss Itami, are you alright?"

Hanako pushed herself upright, wincing when she felt a stinging along the length of her arm. She looked up to see Keigo kneeling next to her, a very worried expression on his face. She nodded but winced again when she tried to put weight on her arm.

"You're bleeding," Keigo said, going to the bottom desk drawer to pull out the first aid kit.

Hanako sat still while Keigo looked over her wound, biting her lip a bit when he cleaned the wound and applied an antibacterial ointment before dressing the wound.

"It doesn't look like you'll need stitches, so that's a relief."

Hanako waited patiently for him to finish, then took his hand and let him help her to her feet.

"Are you alright?"

Hanako nodded, but she looked around the office- half expecting there to be someone else in there with them.

"What is it?"

Hanako went to her notepad and grabbed her pen, then showed Keigo. 'Are we the only ones in here?'

"Yeah, why?" Keigo's concerns were beginning to grow.

'It felt like someone pushed me.'

"There was no one else in here with you, Miss Itami. I heard a crash on my way back in and found you on the floor."

'I promise, sir, it felt like someone pushed me.'

"Has anything else happened today? Anything weird or unexplainable?"

'It felt like someone was following me back to the office, then when I got into the elevator it felt like someone was standing directly behind me and breathing down my neck- which has happened a few times now. I keep getting shivers up and down my spine, it constantly feels like someone is watching me intently. If it were just one or two things, I would think I'm just being paranoid, but I can't shake these feelings and each time I check my surroundings, there's no one and nothing there.'

Keigo scanned the room, not seeing anything out of the ordinary but he could feel something was off in the room. "Ryushi!"

Ryushi hurried in, seeing the shards of glass on the floor and Hanako's bandaged arm. "What happened?"

"I need you to look over the security cameras for the entire building since Miss Itami returned with lunch."

"O-Of course, sir."

Keigo looked down at Hanako. "I don't think you're being paranoid. I promise we'll figure out what's going on. In the meantime, I don't want you walking to or from home alone if it can be helped."

'I can't ask Shihei to walk with me, he's too busy with the shop.'

"Don't worry about that, I'll take care of everything."

Hanako nodded, taking a seat. 'What's going on..?'

Keigo had sent everyone home early, staying behind with Ryushi to look over the security footage for any sign of what could explain what was happening to Hanako. It had been a few hours and nothing seemed to stand out to him or to Ryushi.

"Damn it..!"

Keigo stood and went to the window, running his fingers through his hair in frustration. He heard a knock at his door and turned to find Hanako waiting hesitantly in the doorway.

"Miss Itami, I thought you went home. What are you still doing here?"

Hanako came to his side, presenting her notepad. 'I forgot to grab something before I left earlier. Ryushi said he would wait for me, but I told him it would be alright.'

"I told you earlier, I don't want you going home on your own."

'I won't, I promise. I can wait until Shihei closes the shop and have him come pick me up.'

"That won't be for another hour or two, though, right? What are you going to do 'til then?"

'Well, you're still here, sir, so I thought maybe I could be of some assistance.'

Keigo sighed. "Not a whole lot to be done around here after you and Ryushi took care of everything."

'What about the security footage? Perhaps I could help you review it? A fresh set of eyes might be helpful.'

"Good point." Keigo sighed, going back to his desk and sinking into his seat. He rewound the footage while Hanako pulled up a chair next to him, pausing only briefly to let Shihei know that she was staying late at work and would keep him updated.

They sat there watching the footage for another hour, but so far nothing had been revealed. Until Hanako tapped Keigo's hand, reaching over his arm to hit the space bar to pause the video.

"What?" Keigo asked, blushing slightly as he averted his gaze from her to where she pointed on the computer screen. "What is that?"

Hanako clicked the zoom-in option, then applied a filter and adjusted the clarity and lighting in the video.

Keigo watched as she did this, wondering just how much about computers she knew, and when she was finished he spotted the same thing she had. "That looks like a Nomu."

'What's a Nomu doing scurrying about the building? And why was I the only one who was attacked?'

"I'm not sure, but I need to call this in."

Hanako sat back as Keigo reached for the phone at his desk and dialed the number for the police. She looked at the screen again, seeing something else. She leaned forward again, fast-forwarding just a little bit at a time, then tapped Keigo's hand to show him.

"Make that two intruders. I need you to find and apprehend Subaru Ejiri," Keigo told the officer on the other end. "About 180 centimeters tall, skinny, a bit lanky, I'd guess around 82 kilograms, pale skin, dirty blonde hair."

Hanako heard her phone go off and saw that it was Shihei, but she was confused because he was calling her instead of texting her.

Keigo noticed this and her confusion. "Hold on, Officer Yumoto." He touched Hanako's hand. "Miss Itami, why would your brother be calling you?"

Hanako shook her head, her brow furrowing with worry.

Keigo reached forward and put his desk phone on speaker, then told Hanako to answer the call and put it on speaker as well.

Hanako did as she was instructed.

"I trust by now that you have discovered my Nomu in your security footage."

Hanako looked at Keigo.

"What do you want, Ejiri?"

"Oh it's nothing much, I just want to enjoy the look of utter pain and terror on that beautiful secretary's face when she learns what's happened to her dear brother."

Keigo looked at Hanako, seeing the worry turned to fear. "Why are you targeting Miss Itami and her brother?"

"Oh, they're just a means to an end. Besides, I'd hate to disappoint my boss; he can be a real hothead when he's upset."

"Who is your boss?"

"Tsk, tsk Hawks, don't tell me you forgot about your old friend Nitro?"

Hanako saw the color leave Keigo's face at the mention of this "Nitro".

"I would hurry, time's running out for dear Shihei Itami." Subaru chuckled rather creepily and hung up.

Hanako looked at Keigo, pleading silently for answers.

"Hawks, did that man just say his boss was Nitro? I thought he was long dead."

"So did I." Keigo looked down at Hanako, his heart sinking. "Miss Itami, I'm so sorry... this is all my fault..."

A loud explosion sounded in the distance and Hanako ran to the window, her eyes widening as smoke rose above the buildings.

"Hawks, what was that? Was that an explosion?"

Keigo stared at the area the smoke was coming from, his heart sinking every further when he realized what part of town it was.

Hanako turned and ran, forgetting her things at Keigo's desk- going straight for the elevator.

"Miss Itami, wait!" Keigo called out, but she was already taking the elevator down. "Officer Yumoto, I need you to get everyone to this address,"

Hanako yanked off her heels and tore the side of her skirt a bit to make it easier for her to run in, then booked it out of the building and down the street. She weaved in and out of the crowd that was gathering outside, trying to get home.

'Shihei, please be OK... please, please be OK..!'
