After dinner, Keigo had passed out pretty quickly- clearly exhausted from a long day. Hanako sat on the couch, looking through one of the photo albums she had brought with her- touching each picture of her parents and her brother lovingly.

"You must really miss them."

Hanako looked up, jumping a little at the sudden sound of Keigo's voice. "What are you doing up?"

Keigo yawned and looked at her sleepily. "I got lonely," he replied with a tired wink before coming over to sit with her on the couch. "Are those your parents?"

Hanako nodded, settling in against him as he wrapped an arm around her. "Yeah. This is my dad, Satori, and my mom, Chihiro."

"You look just like your mom," Keigo noted, seeing the very strong resemblance. "Neither of your parents have silver eyes like you, though."

"Yeah, apparently I got my silver eyes from my grandmother on my mom's side. Granny Koneko." Hanako sighed. "I never got to meet her though. She died before Shihei was even born."

Keigo could hear the sadness in her voice. "You OK?"

Hanako looked up at him and offered him a smile. "Yeah, it's just a sting that won't ever go away completely."

Keigo watched as she closed the photo album and set it on the cocktail table before turning to him.

"Would you like some of that tea to help you sleep?"

"Sure," Keigo replied, watching as she patted his knee gently and stood, going over to the kitchen. He watched as she started heating the water before reaching up to the cabinet where he stored the teas and coffee, but he could see that she was just trying to keep herself busy and ignore whatever was on her mind.

As Hanako reached up to put the tea back in the cabinet, she could feel Keigo's eyes on her. "W-What?" she asked as her cheeks began to burn.

"What, I can't just look at my beautiful girlfriend?"

Hanako's blushing deepened and she playfully stuck out her tongue before taking the mugs down from their shelf. She glanced over at Keigo, seeing him shift to a more comfortable position on the couch- his wings hanging over the arm he rested against. The tea kettle whistled and she took it from the stove, pouring the hot water into the mugs and letting the tea steep for a few minutes before adding in some honey and milk.

Keigo lounged on the couch, his back against the soft cushioning over the arm of the couch. He stared up at the ceiling and waited for Hanako to rejoin him, his gaze shifting to her when she came back over with steaming mugs of tea. He could smell the milk and honey blending with the aroma of the herbal tea she had made for him to help him sleep better at night. As she set the mugs on the cocktail table and turned towards him, he reached up and grabbed her hand to pull her down into his lap.

"K-Keigo?" Hanako's cheeks erupted as he pulled her into his lap, his arms wrapping around her for a moment.

Keigo chuckled when he saw how flustered she was. "You looked like you could use a hug."

Hanako sighed, but she smiled and reached up to touch his cheek. "Thank you."

"Now are you going to tell me what's on your mind or do I need to get it out of you?"

Hanako's heart began racing as he reached up to tuck her hair behind an ear while his other hand rested against the small of her back- holding her firmly but gently in place. "And how would you get it out of me?" she asked, feeling as though she may come to regret it.

Keigo smirked. "Like this," he replied, then proceeded to tickle her.

Hanako burst out laughing and tried to squirm out of his arms, to no avail. "Haha, Keigo stop it!"

"Are you going to tell me?"

"Stop it, hehe! Stop, stop, stop!" She pressed into him a bit and nodded. "Alright!"

Keigo looked at her as she leaned against him, her hands on his chest. "So?"

Hanako took a moment to catch her breath. "I was just thinking."

"About?"

"Everything?"

Keigo gave her a look and poised his fingers to begin tickling her again, but Hanako giggled and shook her head- giving him a look of her own before her smile faded a bit. "What is it?"

"I'm just worried about what's going on." Hanako sighed, then continued. "I don't want you getting hurt because of me."

Keigo reached up and cupped her cheek in his hand. "Hanako, whatever happens, it'll all work out. Besides, it's all worth it for you."

"Keigo..." Hanako leaned into his hand. "I just don't want to lose you too... not before we get a chance to enjoy more of this."

Keigo smiled softly at her. "You won't lose me, I promise."

"Don't go making promises you can't keep, that isn't fair..."

Keigo chuckled and leaned forward, his lips almost touching hers. "I have every intention of keeping it." He closed that little bit of distance and kissed her, immersing himself for a few moments before she pulled back.

"We should drink the tea before it gets cold," Hanako said, offering him a sheepish smile. She gave him a few more kisses, then pushed back from him and grabbed the mugs- offering him one.

Keigo sighed in playful defeat and took the mug she handed him. He watched Hanako over the rim of his mug, trying to gauge her body language as he sipped his tea.

Hanako sighed with relief and sipped her tea, glad he accepted the distraction. She could feel that they were beginning to delve a bit too deeply into the kiss and her body had begun to run hot in a strange new way. She could feel the effects of the tea starting to seep into and she sat back with content, facing Keigo.

"Better?" Keigo asked.

Hanako blushed at the look he gave her, but she nodded. She jumped a bit when the windows rattled slightly as the wind outside picked up. "Looks like the snow is starting to come down harder." She stood and went over to the windows to look outside.

Keigo watched as she stood by the window, her baggy sweater dress and socks looking especially cute in that moment- more so than when he found her sitting on the couch earlier with her legs tucked to the side. He stood and joined her by the window, sighing. "Looks like I might be grounded tomorrow. We'll have to wait and see what the morning brings."

"Will someone else have to take over for you then?"

"Yeah. It's not going to be easy, nor the smartest thing to be flying around in this sort of weather." Keigo looked down as Hanako yawned. "You getting sleepy now?"

Hanako nodded. "Yeah, finally."

Keigo waited for her to finish her tea, then took her mug and shooed her off to bed. He cleaned the mugs and set them aside to dry before making his way to the bedroom- finding Hanako already curled up in a ball and already fast asleep. He chuckled quietly and pulled the blankets up over her, leaning down to kiss her hair.

"Good night, Hanako, sleep well."
