Hazel POV
"Idiotic girl!"
Hazel's mom was throwing things at 11 year old Hazel's direction.
Her mother turned toward her phone and dialed a number.

"Is this Child Care?" Her mother said to the phone.
Hazel couldn't hear the response, not that she wanted to of course. As soon as she heard Child Care she knew she was going away. Leaving.
"My daughter is needing some come control over a err.. problem she is having." Her mother said spitefully
"A school of discipline? Up north in New York? It's free for people who need the help of your company? We'll take it." She turned towards Hazel, Pack your things you wretch, you're leaving."
Hazel ran for her room and grabbed everything she owned in a single suitcase. She also took her birthday gift from her best friend Sammy, a recorder that could play messages back and forth.

During rebirth something incredibly went wrong the gods perished after losing too much Ichor too save their children's souls. It was supposed to be a very peaceful passing into the new lifetime until one of the orbs, Death, took too much control and reset the entire world to when the 7 + more were all around the age of 12.
But for some reason, Death would have destroyed the 7 and more but the other orb, Life, made sure the world was reset but everyone was a mortal, and no gods existed.

As she packed her things her mother gave her a flap of paper, a train ticket.
"They told me to print this out. Now leave the school you're being sent to starts tomorrow."
Hazel timidly grabbed the flap and left the house, never to see her mother again for another year at the least.
She walked by Sammy's house and knocked on the door.
It opened gingerly and Sammy appeared in the doorway, half asleep.
"Oh, hey Hazel. Was wondering who would wake me up at this hour."
Hazel giggled, "It's 8am Sammy."
"Oh really, then why does it feel like 1 am?"
Hazel rolled her eyes and they talked for a good while until Sammy asked,
"Why do you have a suitcase?"
Hazel looked away, "It's... because I'm leaving, Sammy."
Sammy looked at her in surprise.
"Are you coming back?" He pouted.
"Next year, I have the recorder you gave me so we can relay messages."
At this he brightened up, "Well... see you next year then."
"Goodbye Sammy." Hazel hugged him.
She walked away in tears and arrived at the train station and showed her ticket, a straight shot towards New York.
She bumped into someone, turning to apologize she was surprised to see cards all over the ground the boy looked twelve, and had dark messy hair.
(author note: screw it in this fanfic everyone's around the age of twelve but some people are ahead alright! Like Percy's twelve but Jason is also twelve but Percy will turn twelve first. My totally logical Athena-like conversation)
The boy hastily packed the cards up in a box and stood up, "No, it's my fault I was shuffling my deck and-" he rushed and only paused to grab another breath,
"I wasn't looking where I was going."
Hazel smiled, "Where are you heading, um what should I call you?"
"Nico, I'm heading to some boarding school, after um... my sister died of a heart attack, I'm the only one left in my family and Child Care decided to put me in a school in New York."
Hazel's first thought was that she pried to much into the Nico's life, her second thought was that she and Nico were going to the same place.
"That's where I'm headed to Nico!"
Nico looked at her, "Want to ride the bus together then?"
"Sure!" She replied.
They both boarded the train talking happily.
Frank POV
(Author note: I'm tryna make my chapters way longer then they have been because they seem like fillers and I could post 8 chapters in a day. Also I'm trying to post at least 1-2 chapters each day)
Frank was hurt, in more ways then one. When his grandmother decided to ship him off to a boarding school, he felt unwanted. Before that when his mother had died he felt like the world left him. Okay he was only hurt in two ways but it was still pain.
He shot an arrow at a tree, he was leaving today at 9am sharp, it was 8:30.
He muttered something under his breath and went back into the house to pack his things.
"This is the best for you, Frank." His grandmother said to him in the doorway.
He sighed, "I'm going because it's not like I have a choice."
He ran up the stairs and packed all he owned, which wasn't much mind you. After packing he came downstairs, and told his grandmother he was leaving early.
She agreed, said her goodbyes and turned around.
Frank pulled his suitcase behind him as he walked toward the station which kinda looked weird, a burly 12 year old Asian kid walking down the street with a suitcase, wasn't something you would see on a regular basis.
When he finally arrived at the station he showed his ticket and automatically boarded the train, ready to leave.
The seat next to him remained empty for a good few hours, five maybe, until a blonde boy and an Indian girl entered the train.
The boy immediately let the girl have the seat and looked around. They were about Frank's age. He was looking in the direction of the boy and the blonde looked back.
"Hey."
Frank was a bit taken aback from the boy speaking. He had a leader-like voice and it was very authoritative.
"Hello." Frank replied a bit ashamed he got caught, "My name's Frank, and if you don't mind me asking, where are you headed?"
"Jason," the boy replied, "Piper," he gestured towards the girl, "And I are going boarding school in New York. You?"
"Same" Frank replied.
The girl, Piper, turned to him and said, "Hey, we might be going to the same one!" She smiled and Frank smiled back.
They started talking to each other, and Frank noticed a few features about them.
Jason was well built, especially at their age, he was lean and a bit muscled, Piper on the other hand, was fit and on the skinnier side.
Piper pulled out her phone from her suitcase, which Frank realized they all had one.
"12:40" she said, "We're in Iowa."
Frank didn't know the US map that well but knew the train ride was going to pass through here.
He inwardly groaned and said to himself, -this is gonna be a loonnng trip-
