Hazel POV
"What do you mean Annabeth?" Hazel asked.
"Each year, you can compete in the Labyrinth Games. You have to make a team to enter that consists of 12 people." Calypso informed.
"Headcount!" Leo called, "Lets see how many peeps are in the hous-"
"There's nine of us, Leo." Annabeth rolled her eyes.
"So only three more." Percy added.
"My sister, Thalia, is good at athletics." Jason said.
"Reyna is pretty good as well." Annabeth supplied.
"How about Zoe?" Calypso said but instantly turned beet red.
Annabeth looked down.
"Something we're, ah, missing?" Piper said cautiously.
"Zoe Nightshade was one of Calypso's best friends. She died last year because of a sudden heart attack." Annabeth said, her gaze unmoving from the spot on the ground.
Hazel watched as Nico stood up and turned around to snap three pencils in half at the same time.
She remembered what he told her,
'Nico, I'm heading to some boarding school after um... my sister died of a heart attack.'
"Hey, lighten up. We only need one more." Frank said encouragingly.
"Luke is pretty good." Calypso said straightening herself up.
"That's it. This could work." Annabeth smiled, looking up.
"Only thing left is to recruit them!" Percy grinned. "Class ends soon so why not now?"
And, as if on cue, the bell rang dismissing them for the rest of the day.
"Let's go!" They chimed and walked out the door, happier than when they entered.
So funny thing is, Fanfiction decided to delete this chapter. TWICE. I had to sit a lot out because I was tired last night and decided to upload today.
