In a jail cell in New York City; Eddy was sitting in the cell bored.
"Well this sucks, I'm in here because of a crime I didn't commit." said Eddy.
The cell door opened and a cop was on the other side.
"You got visitors, one of them is a lawyer." said the cop.
Eddy became confused.
"Visitors?" said Eddy.
Later; he walked into an interrogation room that Sanders was in before sitting at the table.
Sanders sighed.
"Oh thank goodness, when I heard that you managed to get arrested, and you were claiming your innocence, I called around to get one of the best lawyers in this state." said Sanders.
"So who's the best lawyer in the state?" said Eddy.
The door opened up and a blonde haired man in a suit, wearing sunglasses, and carrying a blind person walking stick entered the room before sitting at the table.
Eddy became confused.
"Who the hell are you?" said Eddy.
"Matt Murdock, I'll be handling your case." the man known as Matt Murdock said.
Eddy nodded.
"I see." He said and realized something, "Wait I've heard of you, you're that blind lawyer who lost his sight when he was a kid right?"
Matt nodded.
"I am." He said.
Eddy nodded.
"Well sorry if I said See, it must be offensive to blind people." He said.
"He's one of the most respected lawyers ever despite his condition." said Sanders.
"But why'd you decide to help me of all people?" said Eddy.
"I know what it's like to come from a checkered background. The last thing I saw before I became blind was my own father mugging someone for money. I still remember it, the fear in his eyes when I saw what he had become. But then a chemical truck accidentally spilled chemicals on my eyes, blinding me. After that day, my father gave up crime and was in a boxing match which he won, but he was offed. From that day, I swore I'd make sure criminals would get justice, so I went to law school and became a lawyer." said Matt.
Eddy whistled.
"Yeesh, makes me glad to have been born in a small town." said Eddy, "But you really think I can get into trial?"
"In this city, I'd be careful, because there could be corrupt cops." said Matt.
Sanders looked at Matt
"You think so"" she asked.
"I know so. There are lots of connections in this city. Nothing will go through the Kingpin." said Matt.
Eddy scoffed.
"Eh, I'll be fine." said Eddy.
Matt turned to Eddy.
"Look Eddy I may not know you well but I can tell your telling the truth that you didn't do anything." said Matt.
Sanders nodded.
"I also believe in my boyfriend." She said.
Matt is shocked.
"You two are dating?" He asked, "A Scammer and a Cop?"
"Don't ask, it was the co author's idea. Just like how one of my best friends who's a book worm dating an Olympic enthusiast was the main author's idea." said Eddy, "If the main author had a say in my life, he'd have made me a bachelor."
Later; the group was in a courtroom.
Eddy gulped as Sanders was behind him and Matt next to him.
"As you can see, the suspect has committed the crime of stealing from one of Wilson Fisk's many business ventures, and was caught on camera." said the lawyer for the prosecution.
A video was shown of a shadowy figure shaped like Eddy stealing some disks.
"Come on, that looks nothing like me. At the time that happened, I was in Toon City going to my classes. How could I be in two places at once?" said Eddy.
The judge banged his gabble.
"Silence, or I will hold you in contempt." said the judge.
"I'M SERIOUS!" shouted Eddy, "ASK ANYONE IN TOON CITY!"
Everyone was muttering at this and the Judge is pissed.
"Just for that, I'm sending you to the most dangerous and heavily secured juvenile youth center in the state." the judge said before banging his gabble.
The Jury gasped in shocked.
The Bailiff gasped in shocked.
Matt gasped in shocked.
Sanders gasped in shocked.
The People in court gasped in shocked.
The Police outside gasped in shocked.
Lady Justice gasped in shocked.
The Bald Eagle who was flying stopped and gasped in shocked and fell.
A dog who's leaving stopped and gasped in shocked.
The Earth stopped moving.
Eddy was being dragged into a police cruiser before it drove off.
Sanders is mad and turned to Matt.
"You said he'd be fine." said Sanders.
"I also said that the Kingpin has lots of connections in the city." said Matt.
"One reason I hired you was because of your many connections to several superheroes, including this one who calls himself Daredevil." said Sanders, "Think you can get him to help out?
Matt nodded.
"I'll see what I can do." said Matt.
Meanwhile in Hater's ship; Hater was watching the whole trial laughing.
"That was impressive. Make a clone of Eddy from his DNA, and have him make Eddy seem like an even worse person then he really is." said Hater.
Peepers looked at his boss.
"I know, perfect plan." said Peepers.
Killer Croc entered the room.
"Boss, we've got a problem." said Croc.
Hater groaned and turned to Killer Croc.
"What is it?" said Hater.
"The trial was namely about Eddy supposedly robbing from one of Wilson Fisk's many business ventures." said Croc.
Hater is shocked.
"What, robbed from Wilson Fisk, the man who is said to have some connections to New York's Kingpin of Crime?" said Hater.
Killer Croc nodded.
"Aw fuck. You know, this is why we need to put control chips in people. Better to control everyone then." said Hater.
"We'd better do something about this." said Peepers.
"Good call. TO THE SECRET LAB!" yelled Hater.
The three then appeared at the entry way to the secret lab.
"Pull the lever Croc." said Hater.
Killer Croc pulled the left lever and the Infinity Gauntlet with all the stones fell on Hater, trapping his head inside the gauntlet.
Peepers and Croc are shocked.
"Yeesh, when did we get that?" said Croc.
"No idea." said Peepers.
Hater removed the gauntlet from his head and tossed it.
"Out of my way." said Hater.
He flipped the right switch and the three appeared on the secret lab roller coaster.
"Please wear masks while on the ride so no one gets infected." said The pa voice.
Then masks were placed over the three villains.
"MY EYE!" yelled Peepers.
The coaster went down the track before reaching the end and flipped the three off the cart, revealing they were now dressed in their lab coats and goggles.
They high fived each other.
They soon ran off and Hater grinned as he went to the formulas.
"What to do, what to do? Oooh, I know. First I'll make a clone of Killer Croc and-"Hater said before being interrupted by Killer Croc.
"Pass. That's what got us into this mess in the first place." said Killer Croc.
Hater shook his head.
"Everyone's a critic." said Hater.
Peepers nodded.
"Yep." said Peepers.
"Or, to keep from causing another framed by a clone scenario, we'll just bust the real Eddy out of the Juvie home he'll be in and return whatever the clone Eddy stole before we end up on the Kingpin's hit list." said Hater.
Killer Croc was on a phone.
"We've just ended up on the Kingpin's hit list." said Croc.
Hater became super pale.
"Aw fuck." said Hater.
"I warned you cloning was a bad idea." said Croc.
Hater zapped the gator.
"YOU'RE FIRED!" yelled Hater.
Croc groaned.
"You do this to me nearly all the time, but I come back every fic you appear in because you need the muscles and the main author and co author really enjoy having me working for you." said Croc.
Hater groaned.
"God dammit." said Hater.
