Lonely
Chris Traeger has always been lonely.
He was four years old when his father died, and five when his mother remarried.
Chris was never close to his mom, especially once she remarried.
His stepdad never really made the effort to get to know him.
Chris's stepbrother tended to ignore Chris most of the time.
At school, he didn't have any friends.
He was never popular and by the end of elementary school, Chris had gotten used to bullies.
Even when Chris met Ben, he still felt like he was missing something.
That all changed when he met Ann Perkins.
Ann was literally the most beautiful person he had ever seen.
Even when they broke up, Chris still admired her and was happy to call her a friend.
Now, they have two kids, Oliver and Leslie.
Chris watches as Ann runs around, trying to catch Leslie, and smiles to himself.
He wasn't lonely anymore
