Welcome to chapter 2
This is the chapter where we finally find out the identity of our main character, isn't that exciting?. Anyway like always i do not own gacha life and i hope you all enjoy this chapter.
1st person POV
My head hurt so much, and I didn't want to open my eyes. Even without my eyes I could tell I was somewhere strange and not indoors. There was a light breeze weaving its way through my hair and long stems of grass gently brushing my face.
"You survived! I'm so glad!" a tiny voice cheered above me, I slowly blinked my eyes open, trying to get them adjusted to the light. A tiny little fairy was hovering above me, yup a fairy.
"No, I'm dead" I groaned before putting an arm on my eyes to block the sunlight again.
"You're not dead silly" the fairy argued, "come on we have to go defeat the final boss again!" this caused me great confusion because I don't remember ever trying to fight any boss, I couldn't remember anything…
"Uuuuh" sitting up quickly I grabbed at my head my eyes wide open, my memories were in a large jumble, tangled or simply erased from my mind. I could definitely remember practical things like forks and phones, stuff that was used in daily life. But anything that had to do with personal matters was an entire blank slate.
"Are you ok?" this time the little fairy seemed worried, I took a deep breath in and stood up before brushing my strange brown robes off. After that and a quick look at my surroundings I deduced that I was now in a forest. Or at least on the edge of one.
"No, I'm not fine, I can't remember anything about my life" I told the small hovering girl, "I see…. Let me introduce myself again then, my name is Ellie the elemental Fairy. Do you know who you are?" she asked, after saying her name she had done a little twirl but I wasn't going to judge.
"Sora… yah that name sounds super familiar, i'm Sora!" I nodded to Ellie, the name did in fact sound extremely familiar so I was pretty sure it was mine.
"Alright Sora let me run you through the basics of this world then" The Fairy giggled and hovered above my shoulder before sitting down.
"Ok so if you say menu then a drop down menu will appear before you, there are several icons in this menu. We're going to go to the gacha icon so you can call upon some powerful units ok?" I nodded and hit the icon with my fingers, after a quick few draws Ellie then directed me to the units page where I could create formations for my summoning.
"Ok so i've selected, creator Luni, president Naomi, Idol kinen, Melnya kyuzo, and… lovely lunith" I nodded at my choices, they seemed like powerful units.
"You should really have a light type on the team as well" Ellie grumbled at me, her face cutely pouting.
"I will have a light type on my team when I Gacha that Fox girl" I promised, suddenly a little notice appeared before me saying that I had an achievement.
"Total gacha… 23… reward 10 gems… ok!" I quickly accepted the reward and smiled happily, I then went to the hero button and froze.
I had been turned into a girl, with two animal ears coming out of my head and my red hair diluted to a pinkish color. I fell to my knees and buried my hand into my face.
"What's wrong?" Ellie asked as she hovered in front of my face.
"I'm supposed to be a guy…" I whispered, this would explain the sudden change in my voice I suppose. Ellie gave me a once over before laughing, I ended up glaring up at her.
"Well there's nothing we can do right now so I guess we better level you up" she finally finished giggling. I stood back up and picked up the weird "Gacha sword" that Ellie had lectured to me about for five whole minutes.
"Oh one more thing before we begin this grand journey Sora" Ellie had a stern expression upon her face now.
"What is it" I sighed, it had better not be about some setting or something.
"You only have one life, no matter what you are not allowed to die, understand" She ordered me, I nodded slowly as the words sunk in.
"Well then, I guess we had better do one of the Exp events then" I grinned over at the Fairy, if I was going to be stuck in this world then I was going to do things my way and try and have fun. More than that, I was going to try and find out what had happened to my memories.
