HOMECOMING
Jacob returns to La Push after four years at college in Alaska with the Cullens. Leah is surprised by what he has to say.
What she imagined
Leah Clearwater was a strong, warrior woman. She was invincible.
All that was needed, was for her to visualize this shit and then just do it.
Yeah. She would just go to the homecoming party and welcome her Alpha home from college.
She would mingle and make small-talk. She would eat Emily's food, avoid Sam and smile.
The happy graduates would arrive late. Everyone would have thawed out by then and would loudly welcome them with open arms and the atmosphere would brighten. The graduates would be like shiny new playthings, a break in the monotony of seeing the same people all the time. Same pack, same Council, all except for him being gone with his imprint and her sparkly family of fangs.
One by one the pack and Council would step forward and embrace the future chief and his future wife. They'd be happy to see the Son of the Land return to where he belonged. He would bring with him accomplishment. He would be praised and secretly envied for becoming a graduate, and a better man. His aging father would finally take a breath of relief, that he could finally spend his days fishing while his son took over the day-to-day of the chief (because for the last four years everyone has quietly – not so secretly – wondered if he would ever come back).
Leah would face him and his imprint with a huge smile on her face. She would engage in polite conversation, letting them recount all the mundane details about their last four years together at the University of Alaska. She'd say she liked her jobs at the library in Forks, and at the cinema on weekends. She was weekend manager now, and it was still a little something her mother felt Leah should be proud of.
Leah would excuse herself to sit quietly and avoid watching them orbit around each other, displaying touches that speak of the depth of their bond. She would train her ears not to hear every word that comes out of their respective mouths, which would essentially tell her more than she wanted to know.
When it became too much smiling and small-talking, Leah would excuse herself and head to the bathroom and take a five minute breather. She would come back out and latch onto Seth, her eternal wingman. She would listen to the moving speech her Alpha's father would make after everyone had mingled and eaten, which would inspire a few more to go around. Then she'd quietly slip away and make it back home in time for How To Get Away With Murder. (Because Leah Clearwater's Thursday nights of ogling Rome Flynn with a bottle of wine were not to be trifled with.)
"LEAH!" whined her younger brother from the doorway. "Can we PLEASE go now? I'm hungry!"
Leah rolled her eyes and huffed, annoyed that her visualization had been interrupted. "Okay I'm coming," she groaned, taking another frustrated look at herself, turning from side to side.
"You look cute. Let's go." Seth rapped the doorframe with his knuckles and whistled for her to get moving.
Leah unconsciously rolled her eyes again and decided that she wasn't sure if "cute" was what she was going for. She'd settled on a knee-length jersey tank dress in black, which clung nicely to her curves without being too tight or constrictive. She was wondering if it was too much even though it was nothing special. Maybe jeans and a tank-
"LEE-AH!"
"Okay okay I'm coming!"
This would have to do. And some Converse.

What actually happened.
He'd arrived early.
He'd come alone.
(This was not what she'd visualized, this was therefore not supposed to happen!)
When Leah and Seth arrived, she found him smiling and chatting with his brothers, sipping beers, telling them about his newfound love for ice fishing. Apparently being a wolf with a personal heating system made living in Alaska a breeze. Seth readily rushed up to Jacob and embraced him in a bear hug. Jacob teased the younger wolf on how his baby fat had finally fallen off. They laughed, and Paul cracked a rude joke, which started up Quil and Embry. A series of roasts then created a ruckus, and suddenly it was official: the pack was together again.
Leah stood off to the side, smiling awkwardly at her brothers. She didn't spend as much time with the pack as before, with work as it was. She phased less and patrolled only four times a month. She had never fit in before, and she certainly didn't fit in now. And she was fine with that.
Her breath caught when a minute later, Jacob turned away from the others. "Leah?" he called, with his arms outstretched, as if she had somehow offended him by not rushing forward like her brother had.
"Hi, Jacob, welcome home," Leah responded stiffly, with a forced smile. He came forward, arms still reaching to embrace her, but Leah stuck her hand out awkwardly, forcing him to take it instead. Jacob looked down at the extended appendage, perplexed, but took it into his warm palm, clasping it firmly. She allowed him to shake it twice and then pulled away. His warmth had engulfed her hand and was now spreading through her body at lightning speed.
She took a steadying breath and straightened her back and shoulders, reminding herself that she was in control.
"How have you been?" Jacob hesitated, scratching the back of his head nervously. Leah could tell he wasn't sure what to do with a greeting like that. But she'd panicked in the moment, and now everything was super awkward.
"Good, good, good," she bounced on her toes, her face instantly turning red at how stupid she sounded. "Oh, um, congratulations on your graduation," she belatedly remembered, suddenly feeling really stupid for not hugging him and saying that first.
"Oh yeah, thanks." Jacob nodded, and adjusted the waist of his pants.
Yeap, things were definitely awkward between them. They could barely even maintain eye contact for longer than a second.
"So how does it feel?" Leah asked, forcing another chirpy tone and wide smile.
"UH, it feels good…yeah it's good. I mean, honestly, it's not that big of a deal, I just took some courses on automotive technology. I forgot how much I hate reading and studying, it's only because I know cars already that I even did so well. They offered me a job to teach, said I had a natural talent for it because I helped other guys with their projects."
"Wow," Leah's jaw dropped in shock. "So….you're moving to Alaska permanently?" She couldn't seem to stop her heart from plummeting, his words had thrown her for a loop.
"I…I really don't know. I came home to take a break from everything, and talk to Dad about it. See what he thinks…and well, the pack. I hate that I left you all for so long and I just don't want to make any big decisions without evaluating all of my options first."
Leah nodded, instantly wondering what options he meant. "That's big though, Professor Black. It has a nice ring to it."
"Please. I'd be some kind of assistant, for labs. Nessie thinks I could do a great job, but I just…it's a big responsibility. You know how I feel about being responsible for people."
She snorted while he grinned.
"Yeah, yeah, I know…but it's not that you're incapable, remember that." Leah offered, trying to be a good former-Beta. But now that he mentioned her, she was dying to ask where she was.
Oh fuck it. The warrior would be strong enough to ask. "So where's Nessie? Why didn't she come?"
His eyes widened for a split second, then he shrugged, before looking down on the floor and scuffing his trainer. "I don't know…like I said, I just needed a break. I'm glad to be home, I just want to spend time with the pack and family, focus on here. I've been gone for too long."
Leah could hear the guilt in his voice easily. But she wasn't sure if he was guilt about leaving his imprint or something else. She knew it had been hard for him to leave in the first place, that he felt like everyone would hate him for getting out there into the big wide world. And while Leah knew they all envied him his benefactors (not the leeches themselves but their charity, of course), it had been the right thing to do, to take the opportunity to gain an education. No one had blamed him for going with the Cullens, mainly because he had promised to be back. But Leah didn't think that anyone would truly be surprised that he might not want to stay home now that time was up though. Those few Quileutes who got a taste of the outside world for any period of time, never came back to live on the Reservation. Not as a first choice.
"You're the first person I've told…" Jacob added quietly.
Leah nodded her head continuously, as the words sank in. What was that supposed to mean? Did he want her opinion on the matter? No, she wouldn't say a thing more. She forced another smile, looking up to meet his eyes finally. "Don't stress about it Jacob. Just, enjoy being home. We're glad to see you back, even if it's just for a short visit."
Jacob's eyes seemed to grow sad, and he took a step forward, reaching again for her. "Leah, I-"
Leah's heart started to race, as she caught on to the direction their conversation was about to take. She didn't want to talk about IT. Not now - in front of everyone. Maybe not ever.
She took a quick step back in response and spun on her heel. "I've got to use the restroom!" she hastily called over her shoulder.
She didn't look back.
Leah quickly dipped inside of the chief's house. After weaving hurriedly through salutations with Rachel, her own mother and Joy Ateara, she made it to the bathroom.
Nothing had gone as she'd expected it to so far but this, her five-minute reprieve.
Tears stung behind her eyes, prompting Leah to turn on the faucet and splash her face with the cool water. Her heart was racing and her hands shaking. She hated that any wolf (or the only one in particular who might care besides Seth) could pick up on her distress. She needed to get it together. This was ridiculous.
She didn't know why she was allowing herself to get upset.
But she felt blindsided. She hadn't expected that he'd be alone, that he'd be so normal, in a sense.
A knock on the door startled Leah out of her confused thoughts, and she silently cursed her mother for already nagging her about being antisocial, when she'd only just gotten to the damned homecoming thing fifteen minutes ago.
She roughly yanked the door open, with one palm up defensively, when her words caught in her throat. She came to a stuttering halt before slamming into the broad chest of Jacob Black.
Leah released a loud huff of indignation, her eyes narrowing to meet his. She hadn't wanted to be followed.
"Hi," was all he said, as he towered above her, effectively blocking her exit from the washroom. His eyes were dark pools, carefully masking whatever emotion he was feeling, from her. His presence filled the entire space and took all of Leah's air. Jacob was her Alpha, and her wolf grew skittish under his penetrating gaze.
But Leah didn't want to be challenged. Her loyalty or obedience to him was never a question. She just didn't want to talk about the thing he wanted to talk about. She didn't come here for this.
"You're blocking me, it's all yours now," Leah gestured to the toilet which she hadn't even used.
"I came to talk, not use the bathroom," his voice was quiet, but firm.
"Talk about what?" Leah asked with exasperation, scowling up at his perfectly formed face and head. He had gotten handsomer, losing that baby-ness about his own face too.
Jacob had definitely had returned a man, but why alone? She couldn't' understand how he could just need "time" away from the very thing that supposedly held him to the earth. She worried her bottom lip, stopping herself from asking him where Renesmee Cullen was again.
Jacob's eyes softened as he gazed intently at her face. Leah, caught off guard by the change in atmosphere, dropped her arms at her side, withdrawing her scornful behavior long enough to hear him out.
Jacob, observing her retreat, cleared his throat uncomfortably. "There are things I need to say."
Leah rolled her eyes. "I gathered that part, so spit it out Black, we haven't got all night."
"Leah," he whined at her snark. His hand reached out to grasp her shoulder firmly, then slid down her arm to her fingers where he gently wove his together with hers. Leah looked down at their joined hands, felt the tingling warmth that radiated from his skin, and her breath hitched.
She had no idea what was happening.
Suddenly, she couldn't breathe, confined to the small room with his Alpha pheromones filling the air. Her breathing grew shallow, as her body heated in response to his nearness, to his touch, to his call.
He shouldn't have touched her. Now his scent was everywhere. It flooded her nostrils. Patchouli, sweet cedar, his natural musk. She didn't want to be reminded of the last time she'd inhaled that same scent. She didn't want to think about the last time they'd been alone together, so intense, like this.
Leah shrugged away from Jacob's touch, forcing him to stuff his hands into the pockets of his navy joggers instead. He wore a heather gray tee and matching Adidas kicks. She could tell by the fabric that his fit was all high-end brand names, not the cheap shit they got from the mall. The vampires had been taking care of him well it seemed.
"So is that how it is now?" he asked. "You can't even be happy to see me after four years?"
She rolled her eyes and shook her head, shifting her weight onto one foot. "Say what you want to say and let me pass okay?"
Jacob snorted and shook his head. "No, meet me at the cliffs tonight, midnight."
The cliffs?
NO.
She was about to tell him where to shove his midnight meeting when Jacob held up his hands. "Don't, Lee. Please. Just come. It needs to be in private."
She huffed again, her lips pursed as she realized she had no choice. "Fine," she spat childishly with a huff.
Having gotten what he wanted, Jacob smirked and stepped back, gesturing for her to go ahead.
Leah stomped out of the house without looking left nor right, ignoring the whispers of the women wondering what had taken the two of them so long inside.
Seth found her quickly and asked if she was okay. Leah nodded and moved towards the table. "Let's just eat." She shoved a plate in her brother's hands.
Seth looked up just in time to see Jacob emerging from the house, with a worried gaze falling on his sister. "Did something happen?" he asked, noting the tense pull thinning Leah's lips.
"No."
"Then why are you angry?"
Leah closed her eyes briefly and took a deep breath before grabbing the buns to make herself a burger. "I'm not…angry…I'm just…I don't know, okay?" she hurriedly started dressing the bread with all the fixings, but she could feel the eyes of her Alpha boring into the back of her head. She could feel him again. The call.
Seth looked over at the pack. Jacob was sitting in the circle around the bonfire, a beer in his hands. His eyes were still on Leah. Leaning down to the shell of her ear, he whispered, "What did he say to you?"
Leah finished her burger and looked up at her brother, sweeping away the hair that fell into his face with her fingertips. "Nothing important, Sethy. Relax. I promise, I'm just hangry, you know how I get." She smiled and pinched his cheek. "Now hurry up and get your food, I need you to sit with me."
"You're only having one?" Seth asked, picking up three buns for himself and quickly working on his condiments.
Leah handed him the bowl of Sam's barbequed beef patties and nodded. "I'm not that hungry." She was too nervous to eat a lot. She was worried about what Jacob would want to say. She couldn't visualize that. Not after the way his wolf had just behaved in a little two by four bathroom.
They made their way over to the pack and Leah took the end of the bench, practically sticking herself to her brother as though he were a shield from Jacob's piercing gaze. Seth shot her an annoyed, questioning look, but she waved him off and took her first bite.
"So, Leah, you finally grace us with your presence?" Paul piped up, as he brought two cans of beer over and handed them to her and Seth.
"Hi Paul," Leah mumbled, accepting the offering, which was a surprise in itself.
"How are things in Forks?"
"Um, good."
"So you seeing anyone?"
Leah froze, almost choking on her food.
"What the hell, man?" Seth growled, more out of annoyance than anger. "I'm trying to eat, not hear about my sister's sex life."
Paul chuckled, "Sorry man, my bad. I was just curious, we never see you around the Res anymore. I figured you finally found someone to give up the D over in Forks."
Leah rolled her eyes. "Fuck off Paul. Who I'm sleeping with is none of your business." It was no one's business that she did in fact have someone she slept with on occasion, when she needed the feeling of a man's body pressed against hers. But Caleb was just that, a booty call, and she preferred it to remain that way… and a secret.
"Alright Clearwater, duly noted." Paul smirked, holding his palms up in surrender. "I'll just wait until you give Rachel the deets, and ask her." Paul laughed and scuttled away as Leah snarled viciously, causing the pack and other adults to look her way in surprise. Jacob's jaw visibly clenched, but he said nothing.
Sam shook his head in disapproval, glancing over to make sure that she was alright, and not about to retaliate to Paul's antics. Their eyes caught in the fire light, but Leah quickly looked back down at her food.
Sam and Emily had five-year old twin girls and she was now pregnant with their son. Leah went to the christening and birthday parties, but she was not an active part of her cousin's life. It was easier that way, for all of them.
Leah was a warrior, but even warriors had limits. She couldn't just smile and be a regular witness to the very life that she thought would have been hers. Sam was managing the lumber mill now. His talent for management came from running a pack not schooling, but Billy had put in a good word and basically made it happen. He and Emily had expanded the little cottage. She now sold her baked goods locally from Miss Call's convenience store. She volunteered at the tribal school and substituted when teachers were out.
They were the perfect couple and upstanding citizens of the tribe. They were living the dream.
Leah was happy to work in Forks so that she had reasons not to think about it often. She had a small group of work friends from the cinema, one of which was her sometimes lover. She knew it would be bad if they got caught, which was why she never acknowledged Caleb in that way at work. Not even a private conversation. They had started up before she got the promotion, and she'd tried to stop but sometimes she was simply too horny to resist.
As the wolves continued to talk, and the wives started to edge closer between monitoring the kids, Leah felt a little more relaxed, and spent time chatting with the little ones. The twins were excited about learning to sew with Joy, and Jared's three year old Benji fussed that he couldn't find his car, which had sent Leah on a treasure hunt.
Leah could feel Jacob's eyes on her constantly, assessing her interactions with the pups, just like she was watching him carefully avoid them. She understood why. Jacob was practically a stranger to them, so it would take some thawing out. If he stayed.
Claire rushed over and planted herself on Quil's lap, begging him for ice-cream, only to be denied. At twelve years old she was a willowy thing, cute, but extremely bossy of her wolf. Leah hated to see them together, to see the girl treat Quil as if he was less than a man – like a playmate or manny or butler she could manipulate to do her bidding. Leah wished that for his own sake, he'd remember that he wasn't. He was NOT whatever his imprint deemed him to be, he was a grown ass man who needed to act like it.
"But Quil! I want it now, why can't you get it for me?" Claire whined, interrupting Quil's chat with Jacob and Embry again.
"Claire-bear, I'm talking to Jake. Go ask your aunt," Quil pleaded with a gentle tone.
"But she's busy with the twins!" Claire grabbed a fistful of Quil's t-shirt impatiently, practically yanking him up as she slid off of his lap and pointed towards the table.
"Alright, alright! Hold your horses!" Quil grumbled.
Claire smiled brightly, suddenly turning into a sweet and happy girl, which caused her wolf to smile and usher her along to track down the ice-cream.
Jacob frowned at the two, watching them go. Leah couldn't help but notice, and was intrigued. Did Nessie treat him like that? She had wondered what they'd be like, being the only other child-adult imprint pair. Leah knew Nessie grew much faster and looked like someone old enough to attend college, but she had no idea of how developed the girl was intellectually. She had never really pictured her before, had actively tried not to.
Jacob suddenly turned his head, and watched directly at her, catching her in the process of staring at him intently. Unexpectedly, he offered Leah a smile, but she quickly looked away, deciding that it was time to go.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
She'd been tempted not to go, but she had to. She needed to know what he wanted to say. Even if it would hurt, at least she would finally know the truth of his heart.
When the house was silent, Leah quietly slipped out the backdoor and carefully made her way into the woods. She tried to avoid all twigs and piles of leaves that would jump Seth out of his sleep. He'd already been so suspicious at the gathering, she didn't want to explain herself now.
He was there at the cliffs, waiting for her. For some reason he had driven his car rather than phased like she had. Leah found him shirtless, still in his joggers, leaning up against the hood of the red Rabbit.
"Hey, I thought maybe you weren't coming."
Leah shrugged. "It's not like you wouldn't make yourself a nuisance if I didn't."
Jacob chuckled.
"So, what's this about Jake?"
It felt like forever since she called him that. It felt too personal now, and she wished that she could take it back. Old habits and all that, true, but they were no longer friends like before. It had been four years since they had any real contact.
"Tell me something first," he started. "Is it…always like that with Quil and Claire?"
Leah sniggered and nodded. "I'm not around much, but, yeah, she's spoilt."
"I don't like it. I don't like how she acts like he's just…"
"Her Lap-dog?"
Jacob grimaced and nodded.
"Isn't that how little girls behave?"
Jacob nodded. "I guess…thank god Nessie wasn't that bad."
"Can I give some unsolicited advice?" Leah asked.
Jacob nodded, instantly his brows rising in intrigue. "Of course Lee, you know that your opinion has always mattered to me."
"You should tell Quil to snap out of it. Use your Alpha influence and spend some time with him while you're here. He needs to do guy things and remember that he's not the man-slave of Princess Claire. I love my cousins but Emily should know better than to let her behave like that."
Jacob nodded, biting his lip. "Thanks, I'll definitely make that happen. It's these little things, I need to know what needs to be addressed now that I'm home."
"Well, I may not be the best person to get all the intimate details from. You can talk to Seth. He's always here, unlike me."
"Why are you spending so much time in Forks instead of with our family?"
Leah stiffened at "our family." She could be haughty and say they were not friends anymore after his four year sabbatical from pack and home, but she couldn't say they weren't family. "It's where I work. I stay over at a friend's place sometimes because I work late hours."
"So you're doing the library gig and managing at the cinema? That's a lot, I'm impressed."
Leah scuffed her shoe and shook her head. "It's nothing grand. But I enjoy both paychecks. I've been saving like crazy."
"What are you saving for?"
"My next move. I'm getting out of here."
"What?" Jacob guffawed, and stood at full height. His car groaned in relief of losing his weight.
"I'm moving as soon as I've saved enough to start fresh."
"But-" Jacob's hands gesticulated wildly in front of him but no words seemed to come out.
"But what?"
"I'm…You-shit!" Jacob hissed as he shook his head exasperatedly, running his fingers through his hair before dropping his arms to his sides, defeated.
Leah folded her arms beneath her breasts and threw her weight onto one leg. She wondered how long it would take for him to just spit it out. She was getting nervous now, and her patience was sure to wane quicker with Jacob's incoherence.
"Just say whatever it is, will ya? What is your problem? You think you're the only one who can leave and find a new life out there? Don't I deserve as much?"
Jacob scoffed and shook his head in disbelieving manner. "I'm back Leah!" he reminded her.
"And?"
Jacob continued to stare, dumbfounded. "You can't leave, I'm here. I'm home now."
Leah's heart skipped a beat as a slight adrenaline rush brought on by annoyance, surged through her veins. "Still not following?"
"I came back for you."
Leah's jaw dropped before she gathered her wits and snorted a laugh. "Good one."
"It's not a joke. I'm serious, Lee."
"You just spent four years with your imprint at college. I don't see how you could possibly have come back for me."
"But I did. Nessie's gone backpacking through Europe with a girl I'm pretty sure is her secret girlfriend. If I was taking that job in Alaska, it would be about her. But she's off living her life, and I want to live mine. I don't want to spend my life with the Cullens. I've paid my dues."
The way he looked down at her almost convinced Leah that she had something to do with that. She shook her head to clear it, confused at the things he was saying.
"But the imprint, Jacob. How could she be a lesbian?"
Jacob snorted. "I don't know but…that's the way it is. Nessie loves me and I love her, most definitely, but we're not sexually attracted to one another. And quite frankly, I'm relieved."
Leah would be too. After all, the girl was Bella's daughter. There was something fundamentally wrong with Jacob falling in love with his first love's child.
"Huh," Leah huffed, letting it all sink in. "So you're not really planning on taking the job then?"
"No. I thought about it...and I'm flattered and all but... if I'm honest with myself, I don't belong there."
She drew a deep breath, a little surprised at the relief she felt.
"Leah." Jacob had come closer in her moment of letting everything run through her mind. She held her breath, forcing herself to look him in the eye. "I only left La Push because I needed to go for me, and for her. I just wanted a chance to better myself so that I could really fill my father's shoes, and Sam's. And I needed time with Nessie, to be sure that we could reach a point where it would be okay to live apart. I wish I didn't have to choose at the time, but it was US that I was choosing in the long run. I swear it. I need you to know that I choose you."
Leah was floored and her instinct was to believe that his puppy eyes were sincere, but, "You never called or wrote me."
Jacob groaned. "I know, and I'm sorry. I wanted to but I was just…chicken I guess. I didn't want you to sit around waiting for me – four years is a long time. I didn't know how my future was going to turn out, and because of the imprint, I had no right to ask you to wait. I didn't know what would happen with Ness, and I didn't know if you'd meet someone you could love, or if you'd imprint. I just wanted you to be free to live as you saw fit, without me or anyone else telling you what to do. So I stayed away and let fate decide."
Leah didn't know if to be grateful or angry. She had felt stupid, and so alone after Jacob left. She had worried that he would see her as a mistake and never want to speak to her again. Any inkling that Jacob had wanted a future together with her would have been nice.
"I would have preferred any response other than you just running off after what happened, Jake."
"I know, and I'm sorry for the last four years. I should have told you how I really felt, but again, I just didn't want to make a promise that I wasn't sure if I could keep. I didn't want to hurt you anymore than I had by leaving."
She sighed and made a show of it before offering him a shrug. "I guess I understand, and you're right. It was the best thing to do for both of us. I needed space from the pack, to really get my shit together…to get over everything that happened with Sam and Emily."
"I'm sorry I had to leave, Leah." Without warning, Jacob dipped his head, and caught her lips in a firm kiss. He pulled back and nuzzled Leah's nose with his, as if coaxing her out of her shell. "And I hate that now I don't have the right to ask you not to leave me," he whispered, tasting her again with another firm press of his warm lips against hers.
Astonished and aroused, Leah stepped back, away from his intoxicating lips.
"You're right, you don't. You had your chance to see something new, and soon it will be my turn. You being back or gone has nothing to do with it. This is for ME."
Jacob nodded and cleared his throat. "I know and I respect that. I just wish that we could have our shot, you know? I want to find out what this is between us." He stepped into her space again, palming her jaw so that she couldn't get away. "I missed you so fucking much, Leah. I would lie awake some nights touching myself, imagining that it was you. That one night we shared before I left, was the best of my entire life."
Her breathing stuttered and her limbs seemed to melt under the pheromones his wolf had bombarded her with. Leah knew he would have his way with her tonight, even while admitting to being powerless over her life choices.
"You can have a shot until I decide I'm ready to go," she told him, realizing that she meant every word.
He would have her, and he would let her go, whenever she wanted him to. He could take it or leave it.
Jacob smiled. His entire face seeming to erupt with the light of the sun even at minutes past midnight. Leah took a deep breath, as the Alpha's scent filled her nostrils again. A low moan escaped and she found herself blindly answering his call, winding her arms around his neck and pushing herself up into his arms. Jacob hungrily lifted her against his chest, prompting Leah to wrap her legs around his waist. The chaste kisses were over, as tongues danced for dominance and teeth frantically nipped at soft, plump lips.
With a heavy pant, Jacob pulled away long enough to say, "I can live with that."
HI everyone! Season's Greetings! This is my little Xmas gift for you. I hope you close out 2020 on a positive note and I wish you all the best 2021. We shall overcome.
I won't be writing any fics for a while, but I hope to do more one shots whenever the inspiration hits.
Take care of yourself and your loved ones, be safe!
