Arc 1: Prophecy of Three

Chapter 2: The Rise of Evil

"...Kuh...Agh!" Issei jolted up, his face sweating as he woke up from his slumber. He looked at his hands before he clenched and balled them, testing each finger to make sure they work just fine.

"Mmm...Ise…" He heard Vali as she slept quietly by her bed, he had been changed to his sleepwear, his jacket and blood covered shirt, resting by a chair. He sighed as he must've given the girl a shock from his appearance when he fell.

He was hurt pretty damn badly, he would imagine, given the blood on his attire. Both from the explosion and the battle with Tiga, by his bedside cabinet, he saw a device of sorts, Vali must've put it there when she changed his clothes…

'I really don't deserve her…' He shook his head as he grabbed the object, it was a wand-like device, its stubby handle was made of white marble, it ended with a golden piece engraved with runes of sorts above it and a golden pommel beneath, then above were two wing-like appendages that were clear and given golden linings within, like the golden band around Tiga, placed within was an orb-like object that represented his color timer.

"...This is…my...Light…huh?" He asked, directing the question to no one in particular. "...This is it, huh? My path…"

"Mmm…" It was barely 1 AM, he must've been knocked out for a while…

Getting out of bed, he stretched his body, it was...weird, his physique was...different, his muscles were quite toned compared to before, although he didn't have any six packs, but...he felt a bit of a headache and lightheaded. "I gotta rest…" Again.

So getting back into bed, he got cozy and...shut his eyes.

In time, he dozed off. Unknown to him, his body began to form and change, no longer shall he be human...

"Munya…" Vali yawned as she got up from her bed. "Eh?" She turned to find Issei stretching his body, his face a bit confused and lost. "Ise?"

"Hm? Oh, Vali." Issei rubbed the back of his head. "...Morning...I...got you worried huh?"

"...Yeah, you did quite a number on my head, y'know?" She sounded a bit frustrated before breathing in and out. "...Sorry, I just feel-"

"I get it...sorry for worrying you." He gave a weak smile, although weak, it was still an actual apology.

"It's...fine, it's fine, I just got...scared…when you came back all...bloody and all…" He looked ashamed and embarrassed from her remark. "It's not your fault, you didn't know...I didn't know...I...was supposed to help you and all, but I left when you needed me…"

"No, I asked you to leave me. That hardly qualifies as you leaving me behind." Issei denied her guilt, he simply smiled. "I won't force you to join in my battles, I'm not...that desperate. I just...realized...that my life...maybe...just maybe...isn't that...meaningless with this power…"

"Ise?"

"For all this time, I feel like...my life has a meaning…"

"Ise, what are you saying?"

"I'm...saying that now I have a reason to live…a way to...atone for my sins…" He muttered out as he took out the object from yesterday.

Her eyes widened. It was the same object that held with it, light that warmed her, light that was akin to hope and perseverance of any situation. "Issei…"

"...Thank you, Vali-san...I...owe you my life...in a way…" He gave her a weak and nervous grin.

"No, I just...followed my dream...I...still think it's naive and all, but at least you're alive and well...I guess we're even?"

"...I still owe you and all of this...luxury."

"It...It comes with my help. No thanks needed, nope. Thank you very much."

"...Vali?"

"A-Anyways, let's just turn on the news." She shook her head, before taking the remote and turned the television on. And just like that, their ears went ringing as the television's volume blared at them.

"Ah. There goes my ears…" Issei spoke with a neutral tone.

"Ow…" Vali had to actually scrape off bits of her right ear wax that was within her ear to help her hear things.

"Welcome back, viewers, I'm your host, Kagami Ari, with me is the Captain of GUTS Far East, Suzuki Izaya, do you have any comments regarding the events that transpired yesterday in Hachimantai?"

"Eh? Suzuki Izaya?" Issei muttered out as if it rang a bell in his head, which it had done so.

"Ise?"

A flashback rang through his head as Issei found himself in his house. "Tou-chan! Okairi!" He saw his mini-self run to his father, who was smiling in joy as he picked up his past self.

"Ah, Ise-kun! I'm back! Have you been good today? Had you!?"

"Mm! Mm!" The child nodded. "I made friends today!"

"That's great! Oh and I want to introduce you to someone." A woman with black hair and brown eyes came into view, wearing formal attire. "This is my senpai, Suzuki Izaya."

"Ah! Suzuki...Izaya…san?"

"Hmm, how about you just call me...nee-san?" The woman gave a smile as she approached the kid, bending over, she ruffled his head.

"Wah! Tou-chan, you have a harem now!?"

"He WHAT!?" an angry voice came through as his father began to panic.

"Uhhh!? No dear!? I just brought my senpai over! It's nothing! Please!" He did remember the day, not as vividly as it did bring with it, bad memories…

"Ise!? Ise!?"

"Eh?" Issei was brought back to the real world with Vali shaking him back and forth. "Wha-!?"

"You alright? You were crying…"

"I...it's fine, bad memories...flashbacks...cliché anime stuff?" He sounded real unsure about himself.

"Hahh...what am I going to do with you?" She looked a bit bashful on the matter.

"Moving on, we will now play a footage of the event that transpired." The two found themselves watching what could've been a great scene of a tokusatsu show if it was staged. Tiga and Golza were caught in the action as Tiga was in his red form, punching Golza and sent it flying backwards with his punch.

"...I did that?" That power to basically make the kaiju clear a distance that fast…

"...Yeah, I guess?" Vali looked a bit unsure, but it was the best from what she could make of it.

"...I...really need to work my body to the limit…"

"That we should, then we can practice on unlocking your Sacred Gear."

"Yeah, my Sacred-" His mind went blank.

White One.

Rival.

Eternal Rivalry.

Boosted Gear and the White One are rivals.

The Dragon within his Sacred Gear, Ddraig, was always rivaling against the White One, in this case, Vali.

Are you gonna use it? Vali would turn against you.

'Of course not! I'm...not gonna use it…' If it meant that he could be with someone, someone he liked, someone he can be with…

It was well worth it to not use it…

Is It?

"...Ise? You're blanking out again." His mind was taken back to reality with a concerned Vali.

"I...I'm fine, Vali-san…" Issei shook his head, getting rid of the thoughts that plagued him. "I just had...a feeling and all…" A bad feeling at that.

"You're sure?"

"...I am." He sighed.

"And that ends this segment of Morning News, thank you, Izaya-san for the interview." The news anchor bowed her head slightly to the woman. "And we will see you, viewers next time."

"...W-Well, Vali-san...what are we going to do today?"

"...Hmm…" The girl seemed to be deep in thoughts. "I was thinking about going back to Kuoh, but…I think we can spare a few more days to work on your body."

"...Body?" Issei tilted his head.

"I mean fighting style and all that." Vali blushed at the misconception. "I didn't mean...that…"

"R-Right." Too early for that. Obviously. "That aside-"

"Hold on a minute…" Vali halted him from speaking as she looked at the television.

"Foolish humans." The news anchor suddenly levitated into the air, "The Heavens hath spoken and all those who are considered impure shalt be purged. The End is Nigh, the Renewal of Earth shalt be done, flames of the Heavens shalt come and consume, heed this warning. Obey the Kyrie, the signs shall show and in the end. All that is human shall fall into oblivion."

"Kyrie?" Vali narrowed her eyes as the news anchor suddenly fell to the ground as the possession was over.

"Who...what was that?"

"She...It is called a Kyrie...They...how do I put this, they were...like humans or the Homo Sapiens having similarities with other species like the Homo Neanderthals, the Kyrie are a race of Demons who evolved differently than us. While affected by light, they are far more powerful in their craft. However, only a handful saved themselves by going through their own world that we call Hell."

"...So they are Demons?"

"Close, I believe their numbers have began to strive, they came after Demons, Demons nowadays are nothing more, but a lost species and culture, we only refer to our Demon Names, Lucifer, Leviathan, Asmodeus and Beelzebub had turned into Devils after periods of time. Names of Satan, kept on being a Clan of Demons that have survived and lived off in Hell, no doubt away from the Kyrie however…"

"What makes them different?"

"...The Kyrie...they see themselves as the ubermensch of the Devil Race, like how Hitler saw the Germanic as the Superior Race, the Kyrie found themselves far more powerful than the Devils of the 72 Demon Pillars, their offspring had more chances of becoming Ultimate-Class Devils. We needed Heaven and the Grigori to seal them off in Hell, in a location where they can only escape through the Gateway of Hell."

"...You're a Historian?"

"...I-I…" She reddened in embarrassment. "Now is not the time, Ise!" She pouted at the boy, who held his arms out in surrender. "Either way, I...you can consider me as a bookworm in stuff like this."

"Ah…I see…"

"In other news, they must be powerful to get through the Gateway...Ise...don't try to fight them. I can still-"

"Vali, we, humans can't really rely on Devils...this has gone live, this can't be considered a joke…they threatened humanity...I can't let you deal with them, especially in the open. The Media knows of Tiga…" He took a look at his Spark Lens. "...I'll be responsible for all the mess that you, Devils and Supernatural can't do…if you keep on…sheltering me, I won't be able to fight against the Greater Evil."

"Issei...that's...foolish."

"Foolish, huh?" He gave a weak grin, he was no confident boy, he can't be after he had accomplished nothing, but being a failure of a kid for his parents. "...Even if I am, I won't back down."

"...Issei…"

"I promised to use this power...for good...I know I can't be perfect, but I've made a promise and oath to protect humanity...the Earth…"

"...Then in order for you to do that is to train...I can't change your mind...you're stupid for that, I now realize…" She gave a sad smile. "...So at least train with me and become stronger...for the people...for me…"

"...I understand, I...I'll happily accept it."

"Good, now, excusing your heroic and corny monologue. We will need to go to my parent's mansion to train your body."

"What do you mean corny…? Wait, mansion? Your parents own a mansion?"

"W-Well, considering my parents are a part of my family's massive economic empire...I think you should've seen this coming."

"R-Right, Devils own big mansions and all…" Issei tried to make sense of the matter. "...Hold on, how exactly did you guys integrate yourselves into humanity?"

"...We...had centuries…"

"...Wait, you're older than I am!?" Issei quickly backed up.

"Ah! No! I'm sixteen!" Vali shook her head in denial, clearly looking offended by being called older than her partner in crime. "Don't assume my age..." She muttered out, puffing her cheeks out.

She began hitting him by the head, although it was a bunch of smacks that were weak, obviously her being not too serious about the matter...but...

'Oh God, she's a tsundere…' Issei sometimes curses his luck.

"Motohama."

"Matsuda...where's Ise?"

"I don't know…" Matsuda looked frustrated and desperate. "My plans changed, my uncle needed me for something on Mars, everything's going weird! The news yesterday showed ultraman! Then there's the Demons! Holy shit!" Matsuda blabbered on. "I don't know, dude. This got too weird and I think I'm dreaming-"

SMACK!

"Ow…" Matsuda rubbed his cheek. "Oh no…! Oh God, it's real…" Motohama grabbed the bald kid by his collar.

"Get a hold of yourself, Aho, the world isn't ending…" 'I hope.' "So one by one. What happened?"

"I...You see, apparently my trip has been...forwarded? I think that's the word. I'm leaving...for Osaka in two days. Oh God, I'm frightened. He said that I was forwarded by circumstances! I don't understand any of his words."

"So, you're-"

"I'm trying to find Ise, I wanna spend my last days with the two of you!" He cried streams of anime tears, a massive exaggeration on his part, but can't be blamed on him.

"...Have you tried calling him?"

"I have, but he didn't pick up, it always says that he was out of range."

"...Hmm, he and Vali must've gone somewhere…"

"...Excuse me?"

"Didn't you hea-oh, right, Aho." Motohama smacked his face in a facepalm. "Well, you see...Ise dumped his girl for the fact that it was sudden and that he wanted to ask Vali to hang out."

"Why!? Why did he pick her over us!?"

"You needed time to prepare yourself. And I had projects and assignments, meathead."

"I'm not a meathead!"

"Dream on."

"ARRGGHHHHHHH!"

"Anyways, that aside. News?"

"Yes! The news! Ultraman! Demon lady! The whole shabang! There was live footage of an ultraman scene where he fought two kaijus! The CGI was great! The Special Effects were great! They really caught the feels of a kaiju film, man! The added cars driving in fear added to the realism! Then there was the demon lady prophesying shit! It was weird for a TV news, man! Ultraman suddenly got a hit and then they announced a new series was gonna come out!"

"...What...the...fuck, are you saying? Repeat that. Slowly. Aho."

"So...err, News Channel broadcasted a 'footage' of a new ultraman fighting two monsters...then the news anchor suddenly got possessed by a Demon…"

"...I guess I gave news channels too much credit on being reliable sources…"

"Eh?"

"Go back to porn or something…"

"It was real!" Matsuda cried out, Motohama had a hardened look on his face as he turned around, the back of his head facing Matsuda, cupping his hand by his chin.

'It can't be...so the dream is real? That would mean that we've been living in a world infested with monsters of weird calibres...are ultraman shows also real? To cover up the previous events as a tokusatsu episode?' Theories came around, rational and wild ones.

It was hard to distinguish the both. Well, Monday is going to be painful…

Knowing that Matsuda was a total meathead and idiot. Where Issei is right now...he wanted to know what was going on with the world right now.

"ACK!"

"Come on, Ise! Again!" Issei got up, his body sweaty and bruised as the two classmates were within a massive gymnasium-like room. Issei was being beaten up, badly as he had landed, but mere scratches on his sparring partner.

He was wearing his red shirt, his shorts and his pair of bloodsoaked shoes, while Vali had gone for a ponytailed style hair, a white tank top and blue hot pants that really emphasize her ass and thighs. It really was getting onto his hormones.

Hell, this was a tactic viable to males! This was outrageous! Yet it was a win win situation for fuck's sake!

Spitting out some saliva, he got into a rookie stance, his Instincts didn't kick in. Possibly due to it being a sparring session and no lethal things coming around, which was neat as he can't rely on that forever.

"Ptuu! Alright, let's go! Vali-san!" He quickly ran and threw a punch, only to be sidestepped on and tripped.

"Learn not to rush head on, Ise-kun. It might work on kaiju, but not on aliens and sentient beings…"

"Ptuu! Shut up!"

"Haaah...hot headed idiot…" Issei got into a more suitable stance. "He's learning at least…" He suddenly began hopping around like Bruce Lee's idle stance before suddenly slipping on his small puddle of saliva, falling on his back with a dazed look. A nervous grin carved itself on her face with a tilt of her head to the side. "Somewhat?"

An hour into it, Issei was treating his wounds with an ice pack. "Here." He turned to find Vali handing out a can of soda. Strawberry flavor. In contrast to her milk soda.

"Ah, thanks...my favorite." He spoke before pulling off the tab and hearing the soft wheeze of the carbonated gas coming out of the can.

"I didn't know you were a fan of Enorm." Vali commented as she drank her can of milk soda.

"The more you know, huh?" He asked before chugging the cold refreshing berry flavored soda. "Ahhh! That hit the spot!"

"So, Ise...I've been wondering…"

"Hmm?"

"...Are you...hiding something from me?"

"E-Eh, l-like what?" His voice cracked under the pressure. He wasn't good at lying, his mother pointed out as she never taught him of it and he sucked at it.

"...Ise, your Sacred Gear. Your determination is remarkable, anyone with it would have been able to summon their Sacred Gear and you haven't." Her eyes turned serious, ice cold. "Are you hiding it from me?"

"W-Who me? No way! Absolutely impossible!"

"That hurt, Ise…" She didn't tease him. It was sincere. Unlike people who tease by 'woe is me, you wound me heart,'. This...this was not the case. "I...thought I…"

"...Vali-san, it's...it's not you...I…"

It was me.

Me.

Don't blame yourself, blame me. I am the one making it painful…

The voice within his head voiced itself. "...It's me…"

"...Ise?"

Issei didn't realize that he had hugged the girl in the onslaught of his mind. But...it felt nice...to hug someone...not because of the boobs, but…

The warmth...it was...soothing…

He couldn't explain it, but he...felt safe...that he could take on anything in his path…

"It's me...it's not you...I...I'm...scared...that...I would hurt you and…"

Boosted Gear. Divine Dividing.

Eternal Rivals.

"You would hate me for it…"

So I don't want its power.

"Please...I don't need another loved one...dead…"

His father's dead eyes and constant hallucinations was enough…

He didn't need more…

"...Ise...I...alright…" She held her arms out, but felt a bit awkward. "...Alright…" She played along and held his sides in attempts of hugging him, which succeeded for once. She just smiled. "I won't die on you...I won't."

Having rested for a day, Issei had been trying to sort out his emotions and mind to at least clear things up within his own reach. That didn't help him so much, but at least it did get rid of some uncertainties. "So, have you decided on what Arts you'd do?" Today on the other hand was his time to pick up a Martial Art to train on, Vali being the rich girl she was, essentially had been trained under a lot of Martial Arts and it was probably why she was great at it.

"...MMA?" Issei had been reading and the fact that MMA mixes everything did sound good in theory…

At least to him as he knew he would be wrong as he had no form of knowledge on the matter.

"Yeah, I'd guess so too." There were a bunch of good arts, but everything seemed to lack something to their arts, then there's the Pencak Silat, it was well known in Asia, it was also in practice and theory, deadly. Same can be said for others, Judo, Karate, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Kung Fu in general.

A good combo would deal a whole lot of damage and training on how to maximize energy output was amazingly hard. The needs to streamline the whole process for maximum power was painstakingly hard to do. "Alright then, I'm ready."

"Hello, Ready, I'm Mom."

"...Fuckin' hell…" Issei muttered at the dad(mom?) joke.

"What? Are you reeled up?" Vali grinned as she readied herself, a grin on her face as she then taunted him with a come at me gesture.

"Oh son of a...here I come!" Issei lunged, starting out with a high kick that Vali simply dodged and countered with a slamming fist of her own to his side, causing him to fall over to his side, rolling with the motion.

"C'mon, Ise...if you want to be a hero then you must at least try." She got into her stance. Letting out an exasperated cry, Issei got up and rushed her. He leaped up and glided, a chopping hand in front, Vali held the offending hand, causing Issei to widen his eyes as he was judo thrown onto the floor. "That move won't do you any good if you are slow…"

"Fine then…" He can't bring himself to use his Sacred Gear, it would mean that he's alerting her that he was her target and he couldn't bring himself to fight her seriously…Issei got up before getting into his stance.

"...Come."

His Instincts kicked in as his pride was being placed on line.

"Gladly." His voice came out a bit cold and calculated like a killer's, Vali felt a little chill on her spine before Issei ran at her before he jumped up and did a front flip in which both his feet landed on Vali's chest. She was fully staggered as she hadn't expected him to do such a thing. Taking full advantage of the moment, Issei threw a right horizontal swing to her face before he gave her a hip kick from his right leg, following it up with a left hip kick and then a roundhouse kick from his left leg, it was then a given that he followed it up by high kicking her and sending her into the air before he side kicked her a good few feet, falling on her back.

"Ack!" Vali got out of her mouth as air was taken out of her diaphragm. Issei's mind cleared up after the Instinct Takeover.

"...Oh...Oh shit. Vali, are you alright!?" Issei regained his sensibility and quickly got to her side.

"Yeah, I'm alright, I'm just surprised that you somehow managed to do that."

"...That...wasn't me…"

"Eh?"

"It's my...what do I call it? Instincts, his Instincts, Tiga's." Vali looked a bit confused at her sparring partner. "I used it to...fight my battles most of the time…"

"Figures...I never thought that being a Bearer would've a perk like that."

"But in turn, it doesn't help me if I somehow lost them…"

"I see...well, let's continue training then...after a break."

"Of course." Issei sighed, beads of sweat continued dropping down his face. After an assault like that? It was painful, it wasn't to kill people, but it wasn't exactly weakened for a human like him. "...Need anything?"

"Hmmm...no...not really...although maybe you can train your magic."

"...My magic?"

"...The light that you used to destroy the kaiju...is it not passed to you as a human?"

"...It is, but…" Powerful and wasteful...all the more reason to train it. "...Nevermind...do we have anything that can be used as a target?"

"Luckily enough, we do, we always prepare or at least me..."

"Ah, that's nice." Issei nodded at the girl.

Issei looked at the area after Vali had set up the targets, all of them were floating in the air, well, she knew magic, so…

"Use something weak first."

"Weak? Err, okay…" Issei cupped his chin before he searched his mind for it, the first projectile he threw as a human was powerful, powerful to not leave a body, the second was a piercing attack that was weaker, but still far powerful to kill the target, who was a supernatural being. The third...too powerful, maybe he could come up with something else.

He looked at his right hand before clenching it, causing a dim blue light to cover it. "Hrah!" Swinging it, the light separated itself from his hand, said light quickly connected with a lingering target that soon exploded with a spark.

"Geez!" Vali covered her eyes with her arm. "...I told you a weak one."

"...This is the weak one…"

"That's a custom...but, if it is true, then what you are translating for your human body is...possibly similar on scale…"

"...You...think so?"

"...I'm just curious if you have a smaller form of the Titan." Issei looked at the girl before taking out the Spark Lens. "...Ise?"

"Let's try it." He got into a stance, right arm which held the device stretched to the front before light gathered within the top before he placed it on his chest as if on instinct than on his own mind. The wing appendages opened, the orb quickly formed his color timer with the appendages turning into his golden bands. His body soon began to form the 'skin' of Tiga before Issei found himself donning the form of Tiga.

"Eh!?" Vali looked a bit shocked as Issei looked at both his hands and clenched them before nodding.

"...Vali?"

"I...you...this is…"

"Err, sorry, must've been too sudden huh?" He bashfully spoke, the mouthpiece didn't even move one bit. Vali sighed at the being in front of her.

'You were the first to have his life suddenly turned to the supernatural, and you're saying that to me?' Was her first thought, but his words weren't simply of sarcasm, but actual and genuine worry. Obviously, the kid has some heart. "Right...how long can you stay like this?"

"...According to Ultraman? 3 Minutes, but might change, since this is real life?" Issei didn't sound so sure that it caused Vali to giggle at him on his expense. "H-Hey…"

"Right, try to take out the targets now." Issei sighed as he faced the targets before he covered his arm in light. Far brighter than before, he shot it out before-

BOOM!

"Uhuk!" The entire place was covered in smoke. "T-That was too much energy, Ise!"

"I thought so as well!" As it subsided, Vali and Issei witnessed the damage caused by that one hand blast that Issei did and was greeted with a completely desolate wasteland. "Ah…"

"...T-That was a chunk of your power?"

"U-Umm...I might've...added too much power to it...I thought that well...err...I got no excuse…"

"Lack of power control, figures...alright, under my tutelage...you're gonna control the power of your attacks. Otherwise...friendly fires…"

"...Oh...fuck." Issei can only swear at the amount of training he was going to get.

"Language."

"Shut up, mom."

And so they did, for a whole day with no meaningful progress. Each time Issei would fire off a beam attack, said beam attack would decimate everything in sight, luckily, magic barriers were a thing that helped reduce the costs of repairs.

The strongest attack he did was probably the one he used on Golza, a Stream of Light. "Should I just name my attacks?"

"Hmm? Yeah, probably." Issei was apparently able to last longer than expected as it had been fifteen minutes since he started using his light powers and all that jazz.

"...So, how does this thing work?" He looked at his color timer still in the blue.

"...Would it be outrageous if it means how much stamina you have in you?"

"That...wouldn't be outlandish...well, real life and all has its perks in a blessing…"

"But if that dies...you die as well…"

"As does ultramen if their color timer is dead."

"Can't argue on that one I guess…but naming the attacks...it is a stream of Light when you throw it…"

"Light Stream…"

"Delacium Light Stream…" Issei muttered before rubbing his chin. "I like that…"

"It does...sound natural...it's perfect then." She grinned at him. "You really have a way of naming things."

"It...just came to me." Issei bashfully spoke to his partner. "It feels...perfect…"

"Hmm...right then, we still have some time, change back if you need to."

"Ah…" Issei then remembered. "I don't know…"

"Eh?"

"I...don't know how to turn back!" He was starting to panic. "Don't tell me I'm stuck until this thing's blinking!"

"Ise, calm down!" The day went on as Issei panicked on with how he needed to revert back into himself.

Within the GUTS Far East Headquarters, Izaya had retired to her Command Room to which she had to think about the situation that was brewing.

"So, Captain?" A Chinese woman asked, having asian features with fair white skin, she wore a GUTS uniform. Her hair was brown, flowing to her back, with a pair of emerald green eyes. "What's our next move?"

"I am unsure, Ying." The Captain shook her head. "All I know is that whatever it is wishes to harm us, humans." The fact that the broadcast was also live had set people into a panic or paranoid fit.

"So we're sitting ducks here." Another member, Japanese shook his head. Having tanned skin and brown hair from daily sunlight exposure, his eyes were colored brown.

"That would seem so, Kaido-tayii." Kaido seemed a bit worried on the matter before a loud bang from another male member got their attention.

"Dammit! So we're stuck here?" The frustrated man asked, having black hair, brown skin and dark brown eyes, the man was by far the tallest of the group.

"Calm down, Farhan-kun, being worked up would do nothing." Another member, the female, admonished the man as she studied the recording. Having blonde hair and brownish red eyes, the woman had fair skin that was covered in her uniform.

"Easy for you to say." The blacknette, Farhan snorted out at the blonde.

"That's enough, Farhan. Ivana, I rather have you say nothing, you know how he is." The next man was of the no 'nonsense' man, having a chisel face that held no form of compassion for the matter, his hair was colored black and cut short, his skin was tanned due to sun exposure with his eyes colored brown.

"Hai, hai, liida." The woman, Ivana sighed, shaking her head.

"Changing the subject...do we have any leads?" Another man, having brown hair, golden ochre eyes and tanned skin, asked his fellow comrades.

"For ze moment? No, it would zeem like ze woman iz genuinely possessed and I can't find an actual logical reason to it." A man with a light german accent spoke, having brown hair and a pair of glasses in front of his blue eyes, his body shape was quite short and more stuffy.

"Without any leads, I don't think I can figure out anything, any search about the Kyrie and the Heavens didn't lead up to anything…" A woman with fair white skin, short brown hair and green colored eyes spoke with a shake of her head.

"I see...Kaido, Ying, proceed with a patrol around Tokyo, I have a feeling that the being might strike soon…"

"Understood, ma'am!" The two quickly got up before going out of the Command Room. Izaya's mind went across many things before she shook her head.

'Kyrie…what are you?'

By Downtown Osaka, people were going through with their day, it was in the afternoon, children were learning, adults were going on their errands and cars were simply on the road.

It was seemingly a peaceful day until the incident happened. It was unknown how it happened, but the fact that it happened without notice got the attention of people.

And when it happened, it was not a pretty display.

Downtown Osaka, in a minute, had buildings exploding left and right. Men, women, children were not spared, the explosions were violent.

The busy road turned into a screaming nightmare, in high noon, an attack of unknown origin essentially desecrated and took the lives of approximately hundreds of people and injuring thousands more. The areas of explosions were also incriminating.

By bird view, when flipped correctly. Looking towards the North, the explosions spelt out.

粛清

Purge.

Some thought this was a sick terrorist attack caused by possible ultra nationalists, communists or people of suspicious origin. But it was later clear that the event that happened live on television wasn't a bluff.

It was indeed a warning.

"This is terrible…" Ying muttered as she looked down below. "There are still people down there…!" She looked in alarm as emergency services began pulling out people out of the rubble, good amounts of them being crushed under the rubble.

"HQ?"

"I can't say for sure…" The German transfer spoke up to his colleague. "I will need to sample the area, I have no assumptions other than a terrorist attack…"

"Of this magnitude?"

"This would possibly be one of the most lethal bombings I've ever seen as well…" The scientist muttered. "Like I said, it's too early to say what it is. I need to get more pieces to solve the matter, test any form of explosive residues and all that."

"...Understood...taking in residue from a ruin." Pressing the buttons, Kaido caused the GUTS Mecha's bay door to open and lower a contraption of sorts, said object was similar to an oversized vacuum tube. "Ying-san?"

"On it." She nodded with a griefing tone, the Mecha hovered above the ruin before it began sucking the air.

"...Alexander-tayii?"

"...This can't be right, there are no forms of residue…" The man spoke in a shocked tone. "You're sure you're getting it right?"

"We're sure of it!"

"Try harder! There is no way that a null-residue explosive can go undetected within a crowded area!" He yelled, obviously reading what the machine had relayed over to him.

"God damn it…"

"You should know how Alexander-san doesn't trust the fact that sometimes there are things beyond our common sense."

"I suppose…"

Matsuda was probably having the worst and best day of his life as he walked through Kuoh with Amy. "So, Amy-chan...anything you wanna eat? My treat." He grinned at her.

"Hmmm, I don't know, Matsuda-kun...maybe...a Steakhouse?"

"...Steak...house?" Matsuda's face paled as he panicked internally, what was he going to do!? His money. All gone in a simple eatout session.

"Ah, nevermind then." She shook her head, looking at his troubled look. "I thought that...mmm…" She looked down, a bit embarrassed. Matsuda looked a bit disappointed. It was only for today as well...he was going to leave tomorrow…

Issei wasn't around...so…

"...You really want to go there?"

"No, it's fine-"

"Do you want to?"

Hearing his voice, Amy subtly nodded slowly. "Yeah…"

"...Heeeehhhhh, I guess I gotta own up to my words. Let's go, Amy-chan?"

"Really?"

"I did say my treat, didn't I?" Amy's face reddened in shame. "Well, no use in shaming yourself. It's my treat as I have said."

"Yeah, thanks, Matsuda…"

"Something on your mind?"

"No, it's just...are you sure?"

"...You know, Amy-chan...I consider this my best and worst day…"

"Eh?"

"Well, it's the worst since my best friend couldn't join me when I'm leaving him in Kuoh alone...then the best day, since you asked me out on a...hanging out session." Matsuda grinned a bit nervously, no doubt from his lack of social skills and the fact that he is with a girl.

"Ah, that's nice, but...where is your best friend at?"

"...He got a girlfriend. So, I think he wanted to get to know her and all, then the fact that I did say I was going a month later, only to…" Matsuda stopped a bit, he bit his lip.

"Matsuda-san?"

"No, it just feels...weird. You know? One point I was being beaten up by kendo girls and all...and now all of a sudden, I got a friend…who is a girl...that's something..."

"...Life is just unsuspecting." Amy smiled at his words. "Well, it's never too late to change." She looked at the boy, the two were by the fountain as they were walking to the steakhouse.

"Wow…" Matsuda didn't know what to say to the girl.

"Of course, that's just my take on it."

"…You're way more mature than you look…"

"So I'm told." Amy shook her head with a small smile. "Anyways, can I borrow your phone?"

"Eh?" He tilted his head. "Why?"

"Are you really that dense?" She gave a small sigh with an amused smile. "Well, I guess I should've been prepared for that one."

"Eh? What do you mean?"

"Well, I can show you." Matsuda blinked before taking out his phone.

"Just don't steal it." Amy suppressed a laugh as she took the phone and got to his contacts and tapped the numbers, soon forming her own contact number.

"Here." She gave it back. "Whenever you get some free time on Mars, be sure to call me."

"Eh?" He looked at the contact with the name of 'Amy-chan', a star at the end. "…EHHHH!?"

"Hey…Vali?"

"Yeah?"

"Is the knowledge of the Prophecy known?" Issei had been sitting on the dining table as Vali laid down their tray of instant cup ramen. "I mean to the world."

"…We tend to not share it, but its presence is nearly…as old as us, I wouldn't be too sure, the Kyrie in comparison had some time, but never stated on how old it actually is…" Vali began explaining. "The Prophecy of Three is most likely to be at the end of the age of Tiga. Back when the Ancient Civilization of the Titans were still striving, their possessions had mostly been within the Eastern Borders rather than the West. Which would lead the descendants to be mostly of Asian descent."

"They were from the East…?"

"…I don't think there was an instance of them being mentioned within the Western Sphere…" Vali rubbed her chin in ponder. "However regarding the information's spread, it is not too well known nor too knowledgeable, But information is there, just not much."

"Oh…then, no one knows who I am?"

"…Unless you are the Chinese, they have scriptures of Tiga and the Prophecy, it has been all, but legends, but with Tiga's sudden appearance, it would stir the historians and populace about how true the legends are and eventually, if we don't act quickly, the entire supernatural could be exposed."

"We can't have that…" Issei muttered out, how dire the situation would become as the nations would try and contain them, but the fact that the Devils, Angels, and supernatural had already integrated themselves deeply, finding them out would be hard and would be costly as the damn second world war or maybe worse.

"Right, but there are people for that, so I won't worry you anymore on that…you have more important things to do…"

"Y-Yeah…right…" Issei looked a bit uncertain at the matter. "Well...can we start training again?"

"No, not until you fully rest your body, I never thought I would find someone who is so stubborn in fighting that he doesn't train his body." The boy didn't know how to feel about that statement.

"Errr...thanks?"

"It's not a compliment...or maybe it was...Lucifer dammit." Vali was slowly being infected by Issei's sheer stupidity.

"...Errrmmm, changing the subject…" Issei muttered out. "...Vali-san, what's your wish?"

"Wish, huh?" She gave out a wry smile. "...I wish to fight someone…when this is all over…" His mind began to warp, a wary look on his face.

"Who?" He asked, it was redundant as he knew from Ddraig when he was brought in as light that it was Albion, his nemesis and rival who were on par with each other. She was his wielder.

"I doubt you have heard of him, but he's the Red Dragon Emperor." His fears were confirmed then, she was going down that route…

With no voice to guide him, how was he supposed to react. No, he'd be killed right away if he gave himself away to her. He didn't want to fight her, not after what she had helped him with his entire journey. "...Ise?"

"Yeah?"

"Are you fine? You look a bit pale. Are you sick?" Her face was placed in dismay and concern, Issei had that part sorted as he shook his head, lying like he had done when assuring about his hallucinations and such.

"I'm fine." 'Not.' His thoughts came back.

"Well...I won't pry, just...get some rest for a bit, alright?" Vali smiled, ever so warmly towards him.

'I don't want it to go away, so why? Why must I be the unfortunate bearer of it?' Why was always it wasn't it? Why does he bear the Boosted Gear? Why does he bear the light? Why is Vali treating him...so warmly…?

A dry smile got to him. This was his life, isn't it? Unfortunate and completely unforgiving. His normal life turned for the worst with the Light. His possible girlfriend being his eternal rival.

Maybe that's it…

He was too focused on his own self…

An idea popped in. An idea so insane, so...otherworldly that it's not even humane for him. He was a sacrificial lamb. With him, the Sealed Sacred Gear that would provoke his partner. With him, the light that would destroy the existing Evils of the World. With him...a child with trauma…

All of this for the fact that he...one way or another will die at the end of it all, the hero does not always live on to see the fruits of his labor.

You, as the hero, must be selfless, honorable and defend the weak. He mentally frowned at the idea. The wildest of decisions are hard, but are good in nature. He was strong, wasn't he? "Alright!" He got up, surprising Vali with his sudden outburst. "I'll be the strongest Tiga there ever was!" He grinned at himself.

The stupid wish of a teenager. He wanted to play hero and for that, he'll pay it with whatever price it had. Destroying the Evils was his first plan, then he would conceal his identity with whatever the Sacred Gear has to offer and basically…

Well, lose to Vali. AKA getting killed by her to fulfill her own wish, then disappearing without a trace, so she doesn't know that it was him this whole time. Then he'd at least die peacefully...maybe become a GUTS Ace before all that, but…

Was his wish really that big anymore? What would his mother speak about his mind if given the chance? She would deny his responsibility. He was her child, and with that mother's words are always right. A 'mother knows best' mother, who wouldn't give her child away even if the world depends on it.

He had so much to sort out, didn't he? "Ise?"

"Let's train...again. I want you to ready yourself for your rival as well, let's do our best, okay?" He was insane. Maybe...just maybe...that was probably his love for her as well…

But...was it too quick? What if she doesn't feel the same? Of course, she won't, while a bearer of light, he was human, and so, he was not compatible with her.

He wanted to fulfill her wish, so give it all...take it all...his feelings at the end wouldn't matter as he would be dead. Before Vali could...know of it, but what would she think about this?

Would she care if she knew the Red Dragon Emperor was him? She didn't need the details...make her life as content and as satisfiable as possible...only the fact she beat her rival, a powerful one, one that satisfies her till no end, matters to her.

So many things to be considered...so little could he do to ensure his own survival and happiness...

Hypocrite…

Prioritizing someone's life and happiness for your own life and happiness.

A fair trade for him.

'This'll work out...it has to...for...Vali…'

"...Heh, alright, Ise. Let's do our best." Vali grinned, looking at the distance, not noticing Issei's dry and small smile.

He lost count.

He lost count on how many times he fell to her.

His body was burning out again…

"Ise…" He could hear her mutter out, as he got back up again, his pummeled face, his bruised body.

"Not yet…" He simply smiled wryly, he was weak. "I gotta be stronger...I'm weak and all, huh? You're still holding back?"

"Why aren't you changing?"

"It's only for kaijus and all...I won't use it...it's like a cheat item, but at least it is far more fair than what Tiga's power is." He wanted to not use his Instinct when he fought against her, his fighting style would be exposed and he'd break her heart…

He didn't need her to break down…

Blame herself…

He didn't want that…

It was...only by chance that he could do so...he needed to learn the Sacred Gear after he finished the last of the Evils...if his power was not sufficient…

He would die…

And he couldn't die on her. "...Let's go...again…" He readied his already weakening body further.

"No, we're stopping this. Issei, there is a difference in bravery and stupidity...and suicidal tendencies…Ise, what is going through your mind?" Her question was genuinely out of concern for the boy, who had been going for way too far, his will was admirable, but his body will give out. She needed to stop him from getting even more exhausted.

"To get stronger, that's it…" He spoke out the simple form of what went through his head. He didn't need to worry her with other thoughts.

"...Rest your body, we're taking a break."

"Eh?"

"There is no point in training if you're going to break your body." She shook her head, mildly disturbed by his will and sheer stubbornness. "We end it here for today...we will watch the news and look out for the Kyrie on television…"

"...Vali-"

"No buts, I don't want to force this on you…"

"...I...fine…" He looked disappointed now and depressed that he was still too weak to continue...

Something was wrong. Vali can definitely sense it. 'This kid…' She looked at him as he changed his sweaty attire and went into the bathroom. 'Ise...what is going on with you?' She was clueless, the Light...had that been his Sacred Gear?

No, He hadn't made it...but...was it possible that He created the Sacred Gear with its image? It was a possibility. The fact that every Longinus were as if trials to one up the Titan's Light, his power…

No wonder, it would seem like He was a manipulative bastard who doesn't like the idea that someone was out of his manipulation…

She didn't know what it was like back then, but the Titans…

There were more of them and with them, all of them were if not as powerful as Tiga, or possibly slightly weaker…

And they weren't his creations…

It was weird…

Who were they if not His creations? Invaders from other planets? A possible subspecies to the Giants of the Norse Mythology? Their possible ancestors? She didn't know, the Chinese and Eastern Mythologies had been soundly intrigued, something they weren't before.

He was a possible deterrent against Devils, Fallen Angels and the Angels, and they weren't wrong. His attacks despite human sized were powerful, if he were full size, he would've decimated the entire Underworld. It was frightening to say the least…

It wouldn't matter how much Longinus Bearers there are, full power, she wouldn't be able to contain his powers, and she would doubt any Devil would be able to survive his light-based attacks. A massive being was capable of storing power beyond imagination, Ultimate-Class Devils, Seraphims and Cadres while human-sized were powerful simply due to their genes, but size...size meant more power to be stored. That was the reason why many powerful Dragons were massive.

They were storing so much energy that they can unleash literal hell on Earth if not contained correctly, getting a great training regimen would up their power even more.

Size did matter in some compartment, but not overall. Issei had a lot of potential, even more than a Longinus User, a God Slayer in all accounts.

"Hey, Vali." She snapped back as she soon saw Issei in his towel, his body was much more toned now, she didn't know if it's because of his Sacred Ge...Light of Tiga or his continued forced regimen. "Ummm, is everything okay?"

She sighed before shaking her head. "Yeah, everything's fine, how about you?"

"...Aches here and there, but nothing too serious."

"That's a relief, I...might have gone too hard on you."

"You think?"

"...Yeah…"

"Anyways…" He sighed as he dried himself off with his second towel. "Can...you please?"

"...Oh, right...sorry."

"No biggie." Issei smiled as she looked back and began walking away, hearing him struggle wearing his clothes before sighing.

'There was no way, right? No way that he has the Boosted Gear...there's no way…' She assured herself. 'He would've told me…'

How naive…

But it was better to be that way, she wouldn't want to face off against him. "Yosh!" Issei grunted as he put on his top. "I'm set!"

"Well, to the living room!"

Boring…

The News Channel was boring, there was no form of updates regarding the Kyrie. Issei and Vali laid lazily on the sofa as Vali even opted to lay horizontally with a bunch of bags of crisps lying on the sofa and floor.

"...Boring…" Issei muttered as he took a handful of crisps and ate it.

"You can say that again…" Vali looked annoyed. "I thought they were going to demonstrate their power again…"

"In any case, that is all for-" BZZZT! "Another pleasant surprise." The screen had turned static and formed itself back as the news anchor looked a bit pale, black circles around his eyes, his hair disheveled. "I see that humans all around the face of this planet are trying to figure this all out...I'm impressed...however, I would say your attempts of countering us are...futile...Tokyo Downtown. That is where it will begin. By the time, the Clock strikes seven in the morning. The morning bell shall chime dozen of times. Titan of Light, Ultraman Tiga...stop me if you will…until then, the world shall watch as all those who are unworthy be purged." A grin formed at the face before the connection cut out.

"...He…" Vali went wide eyed. "He wanted to show off to the world at the morning!?"

"...Damn it!" Issei muttered out as he got up, eyes no longer droopy. "Morning…"

"That's...twelve hours away…"

"What are we going to do till then?"

"...Strategize."

"Eh?"

"Tactical Advantages. We need to find those kinds of things. He most likely saw your capabilities from the television. If you can show off a new trick."

"I might catch him off guard?"

"Exactly." Vali nodded. "Let us begin."

The Living Room quickly cleaned itself up as glyphs appeared and cleaned the furniture with a pair of claps. "Cleaning magic. Very useful."

"I need that." Issei drooled, seeing how his house was always in a deformed state.

"Back on the matter." He quickly shook his head as Vali took a pencil and paper. "Tokyo Downtown will be your Battle Stage." She took out her phone and took out the map. "Heavily populated I can imagine that people are being evacuated from the city."

"Mhmm…"

"All we know is that the Kyrie is powerful, so do not underestimate him by any means. Be cautious of his tricks. They excel in Hellfire Magic as I read before. However that is the only thing I know. No doubt he will challenge you in a battle either big or small."

"So, what is the plan?"

"...We lack further information. Fight with all your might and be cautious. I'm serious." She looked at the boy. "Don't lose to your ego...your stupid suicidal tendencies of being a hero."

"...I'm not that stupid, Vali…"

"Hopefully that is the case."

"Wha-that's uncalled for…" Issei pointed out with a pout.

"Ah, suck it, Ise. You need to grow up." He snorted at her words.

"Yeah, alright, mom." Vali had a tick mark on her head.

"I'm not that old!"

"You're acting the age though." He teased with a cheeky grin.

"Oh that's it."

"Wha-? AH!" His cheeks were pinched as Vali gave him a glare. "V-Vahli!"

"Shut it, dumbass…" She looked at him with a disapproving look.

"V-Va-"

"Ahhh, mou…" She let his cheeks go and sighed. She looked a bit ashamed of herself as Issei tended to his cheeks. "Sorry...you kinda pissed me off…"

"...I was...kinda also at fault...sorry…" Issei muttered from the floor he fell at.

"...Sorry about that." She offered a hand as Issei smiled and accepted it. "...It...must be hard, huh? I guess that's why you're joking a lot…"

Issei looked a bit unsure before nodding. "Yeah…"

"...Ahhhhhhh!" She wailed out and got into a fetal position. "...Stupid idiot...I can't believe I got mad, just because you were trying to cope with the situation!"

"O-Oi, Vali."

"Ise, I-"

"It's fine…" He shook his head at her. "I...I just need to brace myself." He took out his Spark Lens. "...The Light…" He narrowed his eyes.

"...I understand, but...what will you do now?" Vali asked as she got up from her position, Issei looked at her face, a determined look lacing it.

"...Power nap."

...

...

...

"Eh?" Vali nearly facefaulted at his answer, realizing that he wasn't joking.

"Exhaustion is an enemy. Then maybe eat some appetizers. Hunger is an enemy." He muttered, out of character all of a sudden. But she didn't mind hearing him out when he was going into it.

"...We got a lot of enemies, huh?" She wryly smiled at his preposition of enemies.

"Yep."

"Haaahhh, I got no choice then." She sighed. "...Instant Ramen?"

"Please."

"Beef or…?"

"Anything's fine...just make sure to put in the chili packet."

"I would've done so regardless." Her amused voice came in.

"I...Wha?"

"Hmmm, just stay put, I'll get us some ramen cups."

"Six Fifty." Issei looked as the city was desolate, even in the morning. No forms of life in sight. The two had gotten to a building top to get a good view. Army men were present, GUTS Wings were in the skies with additional reinforcements of that of Japanese F-15s and F-2s.

"...I'll speak telepathically to you, alright? Just try to follow my lead…"

"Gotcha...is it really fine?"

"Pfft, you worry too much." Vali scoffed at him. "Do your best." He nodded as he checked the clock. A minute's passed.

"My best?" Issei narrowed his eyes. '...I wish it were that easy…' Issei wryly smiled at the words his partner gave for him.

"...Six minutes…" The two had looked at the time before Issei can feel a presence around the area, it was calling for him, his Instincts had picked it up. "Ise?"

"...He's calling." Issei spoke before he could see a silhouette of someone standing on top of one of the tower spikes beyond a skyscraper. "On the skyscraper…"

Vali looked a bit confused before looking at where he was staring at, a skyscraper, on its top as Issei had spoken, was a silhouette of a man, a humanoid looking man. "So you came." Issei can hear him speak within his mind. "Heh, surprising." He can feel the being grin. "...I believe it was right that even if it were a child, Ultraman Tiga is still an obstacle nonetheless."

"How did you even escape from Hell?" Vali looked incredulously, not understanding the matter. "The Gate to it-"

"Correct, the Gate to Hell is closed, but yet, day by day, it creaks open without his presence. Your people, our enemies, those who had wronged us, didn't bother to check if something was off until one of us escaped." He grinned wider, his voice even more gleeful. "That shall be your kind's last mistake. As we destroy all you hold dear."

"Like hell I will let you do that." Those words didn't came from Vali, but from Issei.

"Hoh? So you didn't even care if most Bearers were targeted by Devils, Fallen and Angels-alike? Even your own species!"

"You only speak of some…" Issei took out his Spark Lens, holding it with a bitter determination. "You do not speak of the majority, but you speak as if you are better than them. You're not." Vali looked astonished at what he was saying. "...As long as I have a reason, I will continue to oppose it…"

"Even if you are to suffer?" Issei looked a bit bitter.

"I have suffered before...does it make it any more painful? No…" He answered with a shake of his head. "...If I suffer while others can stay happy and enjoy their lives to the fullest…I'll make that sacrifice...even if I need to become the Second Coming, I will not regret anything else."

"Issei…"

"Vali...watch...This is...my will to fight."

"...So be it, thy Morning Bell tolls with it, the Horns of War hath been sung." The time for peace, the time of a new day, turned into a nightmare in the shed of light.

DING! DING! DING!

Issei stretched his hand forward before he brought both his arms to a '+' pose, the right being placed behind the horizontally aligned left arm. "Tiga...lend me it…"

DING! DING! DING!

"This shalt mark your death."

DING!

"Lend me the light! TIGA!" Within downtown Tokyo, soldiers and officers-alike can only watch as a massive shadow begun to blanket above the sky and with it, a massive thundercloud that swept through the city. A twister of dark clouds descended and with it, a massive entity that was cloaked in gray. A pair of devilish wings, colored in steel gray, each feather looks more similar to sheets of metal than an actual feather.

The being's torso was a simple demonic entity, a face-akin to a humanoid, eyes that drooped down with its mouth looking similar to a sewed mouth than an actual pair of lips. Its body was akin to a human, a black epidermis of skin covered with a layer of bone-like structure, on its left breast was a glowing amber gem of sorts.

"...No…" Vali had not seen anything like it, the Kyrie had evolved...mutated for the looks of it. She could see it wave around a tail, a long bony tail that split into two with each tip sporting both an arrow tip and a scythe tip. Then the clouds split as light poured into a pillar of light, a pillar of hope within the darkness.

Standing within it was Issei. The being Issei was known to be, Ultraman Tiga, stood, right arm stretched for the sky with the other placed horizontally with his forearm bent towards his head. A signature Ultraman trait to have such.

The two Titans got to their fighting stance, the Demon simply retracting his wings into his back and his tail as well. The being's head cracked its neck as Tiga moved for a favorable position. The city was quiet as the two soon charged towards each other.

Fast.

Was what their mind made up. Kicks and punches were thrown, they were, but a blur to their eyes. Vali caught on. Each punch Tiga threw, the Kyrie countered with a block, the Kyrie threw kicks which Tiga countered them as well.

The Demon soon grabbed his shoulders before rolling backwards and threw Tiga into a forward roll where the Kyrie fired off a stream of fire when he recovered. The blast caused sparks to fly from his chest. Vali can only hope Issei was fine, broad daylight. The Kyrie knew that they were not supposed to be seen and publicized. The Press. The News. There are limits to what the Devils can manipulate...and this is out of boundaries.

Tiga got up before seeing the Kyrie just cackle in bemusement, as if it was all, but a game. Which it was to him, Tiga mustered his strength before he charged back.

Jumping forwards, Tiga quickly did a chop to the Kyrie's head, which recoiled before he got his head smashed in by a right swing, then a left forward punch to the chest, a quick hip check and then his right arm grabbed by Tiga's right before Tiga crouched and moved his arm, causing the Kyrie to be thrown over his shoulder.

Tiga quickly assumed his stance, the people facing his back, he could spot the F-15s flying about, unsure of what to do with the GUTS Wings having the same idea. Tiga ran towards the Kyrie, who swung a roundhouse kick, scoring a hit on Tiga, who didn't suspect the thing at all before he was sent flying towards a building, landing painfully as the creation was destroyed in, but a moment.

Getting up, he quickly got back to his stance, albeit pained. The Kyrie looked even more relaxed, cackling as he pointed towards him, Tiga quickly reinstated his form before the two once again charged at each other, the ground rocked with each step. Tiga performed a sweeping maneuver to which the Kyrie did a barrel roll over and kicked him by the back. Pushing the Titan of Light away, as the civilians began to cry out in fear, the Kyrie charged up his arm once more.

Fire present in his hand, Tiga wasn't slacking off as he crossed his hands in front of his forehead and turned to Sky Type. Running towards the Kyrie, he quickly performed a front flip overhead before spreading his arms out, when the stream of fire flew, he became a meatshield for the people below. Sparks flew out as a massive smoking fire was let loose.

"All Fighters fire on the Demon below! Assist the Titan, Tiga!"

[Roger!]

Wings of F-15s quickly formed up before firing off their missiles at the Kyrie, who simply conjured multiple fireballs and intercepted them. GUTS Wings quickly followed suit, flying low and fired off their lasers, the Kyrie gave them the same treatment as the lasers were nullified by his fireballs.

Then he sent multiple fireballs at the jets, homing like a missile. "I can't shake it off! Firing off flares and chaff!" Multiple flares shot out of the fighter jets before the fireballs continued on towards them. "They're not going for it!"

"Eject! Eject!"

Before it closed in, a violet light quickly took the picture and intercepted the fireball.

(Play OST - Ultraman Tiga OST - Take me Higher)

Down on the Earth, Tiga stood, his back scorched, but his body and will hadn't given up yet. His hands were laced by an ultraviolet light that he soon shot off again, a massive one at that before it exploded and turned into multiple light bullets that homed for the fireballs.

Getting into a stance, he quickly went flying after leaping into the sky, focusing more energy, another wave of ultraviolet light came through, his arms stretched to his side before brought up above him, the light gathered before Tiga brought it to his left side, a flash took the scene before he fired off massive light bullets towards the Kyrie who simply did back handsprings before cartwheeling to evade the bullets.

Then he sprung his wings and took to the sky with one flap of its wings. Tiga quickly took over to the skies, going above the clouds before the Kyrie followed suit, Tiga flew, his body lining up with a shooting star's, the Kyrie continued flying, meagerly following him. The two met within the stormy clouds before Tiga arced his arms up and began to spin, a whirlpool formed as the clouds were getting sucked in.

The Kyrie roared in anger before he fired off a fire stream that was taken into the tornado he formed, the storm clouds that blanketed the sky began to dissipate, more light overtook the battle as the remaining cloud was sent high above the sky in a blazing fit from the Kyrie's fire stream. Stopping, Tiga faced off against the Demon, hands at the ready.

The sky and light overtook the scenario as the two beings were clearly seen before they flew at each other, a sonic boom appeared as both of them locked arms, then they both jumped away from each other. The two of them fired off their own hand slashes at each other, cancelling their own attacks.

The explosion let the Kyrie fly away to gain some distance, however Tiga didn't want that, he flew right through the explosion's cloud, chasing after the Demon. "...Che, all fighters, pursue them!"

[Roger!]

The Wings of aircraft quickly slashed through the skies before going to a sonic boom, following the two Titans. Firing off another salvo of light bullets, the Demon had to halt before dodging the amount of light attacks coming after him, many of the attacks clash with each other, exploding without hitting their designated target.

"How the hell are we going to keep up!?" No amount of training could prepare the pilots for this kind of warfare, the amount of G Force one would suffer from this kind of maneuver was insane. Tiga's movements were, but a blur as he and the Kyrie engaged in a dog fight.

Tiga on his place quickly evaded fireballs that the Kyrie would fire off, the Demon continued its barrage that it fired towards the city. The amount of fireballs were nothing to scoff at as Tiga couldn't catch up with the barrage that he opted to get out of the engagement.

When fireballs began to make their way towards the city, Tiga quickly got in the way and took the fireballs head on. His arms were left burnt, but even then, he continued on flying and taking the shots head on.

Forming a barrier would possibly make the shots ricochet somewhere populated. After a constant barrage, Tiga quickly felt his light blinking. "No...Not now…"

(End OST)

"Fool, taking all my fire head on?" The Kyrie lowered his levitating form, the jets had to disengage as their body had been used to the maximum and now, pushing further would possibly result in a disintegration of the craft. "You are possibly the pinnacle of stupidity. But that would work fine with me. Now just perish!"

Tiga, weakened, couldn't move as the stream of fire shot out to him. This was his life then? Second time transforming, he wasn't like the superheroes in comic books...

He wasn't strong…

He wasn't smart…

He wasn't special…

As the light within him dimmed, he can find himself freefalling from the sky. "ISE!" Her voice felt like just a few feet away...

"Where is this?" He found himself in a spiraling vortex of velvet red, lavender purple and bright white hues. He felt as if he was levitating. Then an outline of silver began to appear in front of him. "You...are you? Tiga?"

The being stood silent. "...What do you want from me? Take it...so I can be powerful enough to fight."

"Answer me!"

"I have no need of anything you possess."

"Eh?"

"In fact it is I who need you to fight."

"...My body…"

"My leftover body, you possess it, I cannot help you to the extent I used to possess." Tiga spoke with a calm and even voice.

"...Then...what happens...if I die?"

"...I have passed, this body possesses a part of me, a part of my soul...if you perish...I too will perish."

"Then what about the Kyries?"

"What about them?"

"...If I die...if we die…"

"...You have the answer to that question, Hyoudou Issei." A bitter frown placed itself on his face.

"Then...this is the end?"

"Why are you hopeless?" Tiga questioned.

"It is the reality I am facing, right? What is the use of being hopeful?"

"He's a bigger fool than I first took him for." A massive winged being overshadowed Issei as existing on the other side of Tiga was Ddraig. "You willingly long for death? You're a weakling."

"...He is more powerful than me…"

"...You possess my power, yet you chose to seal it away. You have the power needed, you're just scared that you might break the White One's heart." Ddraig snorted at his host. "So if you do die...what will it be?"

"..."

"...Standing around being helpless and hopeless is exactly what a fool would do. Are you going to continue it?"

"No…"

"Then use our power to their full extent! You are the Red Dragon Emperor! Der Rot Drachen Kaiser! Sono Sekiryuutei!" Ddraig proclaimed loudly, a great big grin on his face.

"The Three Guardians will only be dropped to two, you are needed. Are you really going to give up the world, because you think you are incapable? Your will...is not as strong as your body, opposed to the previous...are you going to back out?"

"...No…"

"Then stand!" Tiga spoke deeply. "You are the Ultraman of this World. An Ultraman...will not back down. Fight till the end. Despised or not, Betrayed or not, protect those you hold dear until the end!"

"...Then, Tiga-san! Ddraig-san! Lend me...both your powers! This is it! My life goal! To protect them all!"

"Then we'll gladly give you all of it!" Ddraig roared as fire spread across his body. Issei can only feel his body rise, the light began to shine upon his pathetic form.

"AaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhHHHHHHHHHHH!" Reaching out, he felt the light taking the form of a solid device. The device he calls the Spark Lens.

"I won't fall here! TIGA!"

The falling body of Tiga quickly disappeared out of sight, bursting into motes of light. "Ise…" Vali muttered, the Kyrie simply laughed from its levitating state at the disappearance.

"Not yet...Vali…" She could hear him in her mind before she looked up, a bright flash sparked before the Kyrie, that light formed Tiga as he suddenly emerged out of thin air and first and foremost pulled his right arm back and threw it at the Demon's face.

Smashing the Demonic entity in the sky, Tiga tried one last time to land a hit before the Kyrie evaded and wrapped his tail around him and pulled him closer. "You still try to prevail!? It is futile!" Grabbing his arms, the Demonic tail slashed and hacked through the Titan of Light, sparks flew all over.

"Firing lasers!"

"Fox 2!"

Multiple jet fighters opened fire on the Demonic entity's back. "Taichou!?" Suzuki Izaya had gotten to a GUTS Wing 1 and made her way towards the battlefield.

Turning off the COMMs, she simply fired at the Kyrie's wings before opening the weapon bay, a stack of missiles within it. "Specium Missile, fire!" Four counts of Experimental Specium Missiles shot forth as they each hit their marks on the Devil. As she passed in front of them, flying downwards, she could see Tiga's face from her position. "Fight back...Tiga!"

The Demon loosened his grip on Tiga as he had been wounded by light based weapons. Tiga fought off those grappling hands, then placed his fists together, a faint violet purple light flashed before it engulfed his entire forearm with static electricity which he used to create vertical arcs that cut off the Demon's wings.

The Kyrie, similar to Devils and Angels, fallen or not, most of their magic had been stored within their wings and have them as their main appendages to fly. Their decision to keep it as one large pair of wings instead of multiple wings like the three factions did became their downfall as without any backups, the Demon can only rely on its smaller source within his body and the loss of flight.

Tiga had quickly descended and raised both his hands in front of his crystal before turning to Power Type. The Kyrie gave out an exasperated cry before he made his way towards Tiga, who did the same. Once more the ground shook beneath their weight, Tiga pulled his arm back to give the Demon a smashing punch that cracked its head.

The Kyrie sent its tail slashing through the Titan's back, causing him to grunt in pain. As the Demon got more space between him and the being, Tiga simply got to his fighting stance, his back scorched, his chest lingering with slashes and hacks, he simply stood strong, not willing to give up just yet.

Running towards the Kyrie, the Darkborne had sent his tail to do his bidding, the tail's twin edges extended to strike Tiga without needing the Kyrie to move closer to him. Tiga quickly halted before the two tails wrapped around him.

The edges slashed and hacked him before Tiga clenched his fists, summoning more power to his arms, flashing red, the arms quickly broke through the wrapping tails like they were a bunch of threads being ripped apart, multiple pieces flying across the city.

The Kyrie recoiled in shock and fear as Tiga closed the distance and headbutted the being by the chest before he began rapidly punching him by the chest, then swinging both arms towards the head horizontally, he smashed the head of the being into a pulp, disorienting the entire skull of the being. Holding the demon's shoulders after the onslaught, Tiga quickly kneed him before performing a backroll throw.

Tiga got up before switching back to Multi Form with his color timer blinking red, he pushed both his arms in front of him before putting them to his lower sides, light emerged around the city. His posture flashed as soon as he got his arms to extend and cross his hands, motes of light gathered around his body before his arms moved to his sides.

A violet line made of light appeared in front of the Titan as he absorbed the light that gathered into his arms, the violet line stretched itself into non-existence. The Demon shook his head as he growled as if he was a carnivorous animal, he stretched both his arms to his sides, fire blazed through his arms. Placing both arms above his head, an overwhelming amount of fire surged out of his hands, placing his arms to his sides, he got both arms in front of him, his fists facing Tiga. Both hands fired off a stream of concentrated fire towards the Titan.

Tiga had soon enough brought his arms to an 'L' posture that many Ultramen had done in firing their beams. The vertical forearm lit up in white light as a blast of white light shot through towards the opposing fire beam.

The two beams collided. "I won't fall here...Absolutely not! Ddraig, boost me!"

"As careless and stubborn you are, boy...you still are my host! BOOST!" The energy within Tiga doubled as the Kyrie continued to fire his beam, he was slowly being overpowered until he couldn't hold the beam any longer and got struck head on by Tiga's ray. The beam slowly ate through the skeletal armor that the Kyrie had worn.

"Finale!" Pulling his body a bit backwards, Tiga pushed himself back and intensified his Ray to the limit that his color timer began to blink quickly and rapidly after the sudden consumption of his power. The height of the ray enlarged to around the size of the Demonic Entity itself. The light became unbearable before the Kyrie exploded in a brutal fashion of flying piles of the Kyrie's flesh.

Tiga got to his knee, panting from his exhaustion. His color timer blinked rapidly as he had used most of his power on that attack. He needed to get stronger in the future.

Getting up, he simply assumed his ultraman posture before he suddenly disappeared with a glow and a pillar of light beneath him.

"Ise!" Vali searched left and right around the place Tiga disappeared at, the military had done a sitrep of their current situation, leaving Vali in the desolate place alone. "Where are you!?" Ruined buildings decorated the area as the beam had devastated the lane between the two beings. "...Ise!" She tried to feel a signature before she felt one right behind a piece of rubble, around the edges was a small puddle of blood.

"Ise...Ise!" She called out before she got to it and found Issei sitting by the rubble. His breathing was stable, but his body was bleeding on the front and scorched on the back. "Ise…"

"...Kuh!" He coughed violently, coughing out blood from his mouth. His eyes barely opened. "V-Val…?"

"I'm here! I'm here!" She caressed his face. "I'm alright, you...you need to-"

"Let me rest...I just want sleep…"

"No, no, not now!" She muttered as she shook his body. "Don't sleep! Don't sleep, I need you to stay awake!" She got his arm around her neck. Bloodying the area it was at.

"...So...tired…"

"Yes, yes, when we get you patched up...you can have all the sleep you want." A wry smile made its way onto Issei's face.

...That sounds...nice…" Forming the teleportation circle, Vali and Issei disappeared in a flash of light from the scene.

Ultraman.

That single word has gone through so much as a Japanese Idol in the Showa Era. Ultraman. Ultra Seven. Jack. Ace. Zoffy. Taro. Leo. 80.

Eight Series, nine Ultramen. Since the Hiatus, yesterday had awoken the world to the fact that they existed.

The Phrase of Ultraman was seen in Headlines, heard in News. With the newfound interest peaking, a new series had been teased for it after a 41 year hiatus. An Ultraman based on the Infinity Symbol, the Mebius Sign.

All this, while Vali was rushing Issei through to his room in her family's mansion. No doubt, her family had been a bit skeptical and all. His temperature rose highly from the battle, his breathing began to destabilize, being short and more hasted than controlled. His head felt like it was actually on fire. Stabilizing him with both magic and medicine was actually painfully hard as she had to make sure she wasn't doing anything wrong.

If she brought him to the hospital…

Who knows what the fuck will happen to him. Tested like a lab rat by the Devils, being heiress of the Lucifer family...it was obvious what could possibly go wrong there. Recruitment by Force. Mutilation for References. Tested as a lab rat like listed before. Exploitation. Brainwashing. Every kind of excuse she'd throw in due to how vile Devil nature was and still is.

"They're treating you like it...like a hero…" She muttered sadly, as she continued to treat his fever, a slight gulp of water from time to time. "...Ise…" They didn't know how hard it was for him to fight, nor how he was suffering from each battle.

His current fever itself was nowhere it should be, being around 60 degrees celsius, which would've been fatal to a human like him. 45 celsius was the top recorded fever on a human, a fever of this kind would do permanent brain damage to him. Given to it that he hadn't been able to get used to his body and that it would probably need to adapt to keep it from harm's way.

He needed to let the adaptation take time.

Otherwise...he'd die before the actual Evils arrive. "Keep it together, Vali...he won't die...he definitely won't…" His sudden newfound strength had made him adapt, but with it, a deliriously quick paced change, she could feel his body feel less and less human and more...unknown…

Fusing his body with the Titan's former body, Tiga's remains. He had...jeopardized his safety and well being, only so for the world. Was he forced to? He may have been, the Bearers of Light had been known to die young and mostly due to the supernatural as a form of…

Blockade of sorts.

And now, it was forced onto him.

No wonder…

The supernatural had killed and jeopardized the safety of the world for their selfish desire. Now?

"I won't let anyone...no one...will harm you again…" She softly spoke to his resting body, a soft smile on her face. Was it selfish?

It was...but anything to keep him safe and live a life that he deserved.

"So, he lives." An Angel spoke as he looked to the footage of the Titan beating and annihilating the Demonic Entity known as the Kyrie. "...Even after everything…"

"Michael?"

"...He still goes through with it, he's fighting for the sake of the world, despite knowing that Father was envious of him. His power…" The Angel, Michael smiled at the sight of the light. "Come sister, we need to know more of him and who his identity is."

"Would it be wise?" His sister questioned, eyes pleading to the male. "He had endured enough, he had fought through too much. His Bearers. All of them were killed or abducted, is it wise to even know of his identity?"

"...If we aren't the one to find out, another will, and with it, their goals and selfish aims." Michael gave his sister a knowing look.

"...I see…" The blonde sadly spoke with a lace of sadness. "Then I shall do it."

"Sister…"

"He...they had saved my life before, I wasn't able to save them. Let me do it. For the sake of them…" She bit her lips.

"...Very well, dear sister." Michael nodded. "I will honor your request."

"Interesting...after all the hardships and betrayals...he still sees this through?" A Fallen Angel asked with a bit of a grin. "...I guess his values are similar to that of actual Ultramen...or are they made by a Bearer to bring out the best values of life?"

"But still, he sought for peace, didn't he? He fought so that no one else would need to be in despair, so no one else gets hurt." Another voice came through, a man's. "...Then the Kyrie…"

"Has broken through the Gate of Hell. It's time we actually fix that, we have wasted too much time, not fixing that." The first Fallen shook his head. "It's time we pay them a visit."

"What about the Bearer?"

"Hmmmm, well, leave him be. He saved us a boatload of trouble from dealing with the Kyrie…besides, he needs some space to work with, you know what happened with all the previous ones…"

"...Yes...how tragic…"

"...Any words from Raynare though?"

"Raynare? No...no, I don't think there were any words from her, as well as Dohnaseek, Kalawarner had suggested that the two might have defected."

"No, that's unlike Raynare or Dohnaseek to do so." The first shook his head. "...Don't tell me that they got to that act again."

"I'm pretty sure they might be…"

"For Fuck's sake, why are we the only ones suffering from this thing?" The Fallen scratched his head. "...Damn it, recall the two others, I'll make sure to punish them for this." He looked a bit disappointed at how much expectation he had for his subordinates. "But this is still an interesting development of how the world is changing." He looked at the screen which showed Tiga's appearance. "Well, Ultraman Tiga, I'll see what you have in store next for us."

"So, Ultraman Tiga?" The Four Satans were in their meeting room, the red head looking a bit too uncomfortable at his position. "...To beat a Mutated member of the Kyrie, albeit a few days after his revival…"

"Ahhhh, he looks strong as well, I wonder how he looks up close." The only female wondered. "He looks like he fits into a tokusatsu film nowadays!"

"He was a topic, wasn't he?" The bald headed of the four questioned. "The Ultraman Series that went on a hiatus?"

"He is, and he is quite similar to the ones in the shows as I have researched them." The green headed Genius rubbed his chin. "The information was quite accurate for a television drama series."

"Ehhhh, you watch the show too?"

"That's not the only thing, the existence of Ultraman had existed long before then. For all we know, the Ultraman Series are…possibly a cover up for their existence." The other three looked intrigued, okay maybe two, since the other one was lazing around and looking unenthusiastic about it.

"Really? So that would mean…"

"We have more than just one Titan of Light to worry about. But given everything, we would need to find him first." The genius shook his head. "And considering everything, I would be sure that he resides within Japan."

"Japan? That would be…"

"Where Ria-tan and So-tan's at!" The girl gasped at the information. "That would be killing two birds with one blast!" She jerked up jovially. "Well, I'm going then~"

"Wait, Sera-chan!" The red head called out at the hyped Serafall. "...We don't know much about him, it would be best if you try and find out who he is, and then report back, if he is powerful enough to beat a mutated Kyrie...who knows what more he could do."

"...Fine…" She pouted a bit. "Are you sure you're being a bit too paranoid?"

"You are the Leviathan, you are essential to our Government."

"...You know that we're just shadow puppets inheriting the surnames of the late Satans, right?" Serafall asked with a knowing look.

"...It still stands."

"Haaahhh~, fine fine, Zechy~" She playfully smiled at the red head. "I'll be sure to be careful and all~" She spoke before leaving, Sirzechs sighed.

"She's not going to be careful…"

"You know how she operates...give her some breathing room." The green head shrugged towards his fellow Maou.

"...I guess you're right, Ajuka…"

That's it. Well, not the best start of a fanfic, but I thought it could've been worse tbh. As for the battles, I am trying to branch out of the standard battle, but still going to stick with some of them. You can expect that there will be more faster paced battles like ones that are in Ultraman Nexus. Some OST will originate from other Series and Animes as well, just so you guys don't get bombarded by the three Ultraman's Continuous OSTs, but to it, I also have not so much good OSTs as I am a budget and I have no taste for songs most of the time as I hate to admit it...

In addition to that...

No wait, I got nothing .-.

Well, Review Time.

Legionnaire Blaze: Cover Photo says all, buddy, but indeed, I still have some plans about such, but I rather have it be as a surprise of sorts...I'm sure some of you are going to see it coming though.

ex555: Pretty accurate…

S31tora: Not now, I wanna have a break from it, lots of people go for hiatus after writing a 27 chapter story for 4 months straight...I might get someone to collab with me, but not now, I want some fresh air and some new things to try. Maybe in a few more months...I got pretty uninspired after that spree of writing and typing away...I would also need to reform the Gate Chapters as well...

Not much Reviews, but it's kinda all good and all, it'll start small and snowball...maybe...

So that's Issei's part done, next will be obvious, Dyna. Funny enough I've been rewatching the entire series and boy, does that Nostalgia come in not like a flood, but like a nostalgia TSUNAMI. I missed my childhood...

Well, see you folks in the next one, have a good one!
