Sorry for the long wait (4 days), been busy with school. Whew alright well here is chapter 4. I don't own gacha world or it's characters. I do however own the character Sora so meow. See yah guys soon.
My stomach growled again as we continued down the road towards whatever kingdom the Ellie had promised would be ahead.
"Ellie are you sure that there isn't anywhere else we could get food" i almost begged, the little fairy looked just as hungry as i was but she still shook her head.
"Not unless we run into another person and take some of theirs" the thought made my mouth water. I was now almost praying to run into another person and do a quest just to get food.
"But we are beneath stealing, right sora?" Ellie looked down at me a little forcefully, how did she know that i was thinking just a little about stealing food?
"Alright alright, i won't steal food, for now…." I chuckled softly under my breath before tapping Ellie on the head and smiling a tiny bit to reassure her. I continued to walk in silence for another couple hours before stopping by a creek for some water.
"What kind of world spawns a gacha summoner without any supplies in the middle of a forest super far from civilization!" I complained after drinking my fill.
"It must be the work of the final boss, remember they will do anything they can to stop us from achieving our goal of destroying the corruption" Ellie huffed and sat down on the grass beside me.
"By the way, what is corruption? Like what does it do?" i asked, the fairy looked up at me her expression grim and her eyes locked on mine for a moment before answering,
"The corruption is a magical power that brings out the worst in people, it draws their darkest side of the person from the dredges of hell and forces them to lose control of their bodies and minds" i leaned back against the tree behind me and thought for a moment, so the corruption was magic… Did that mean it had a source? I guess right now the source was the final boss…
"How do you remove it?" I asked softly, the little fairy paused before answering me.
"First you must defeat the possessed victim and then with the might of the gacha sword you use something called holy cleansing which purifies the victim and destroys the corruption" she explained.
"You're going to have to teach me that at some point" I laughed softly before picking the fairy up and setting her on my shoulder again.
"Don't worry after the first time it will come naturally to you" Ellie explained happily, my heart lifted a tiny bit and we continued down the path.
Ok sorry for the short chapter but i'm busy with a lot of things. But also i thought this would be a more informational chapter so you guys would understand the corruption a little better. Well i will have another chapter out real soon so you guys don't worry. Don't forget to never lose hope in your fantasies and stories. Imagination is the greatest weapon we have as human beings
