Well, I'm still alive, is that a surprise?

Arc 1 - Prophecy of Three

Chapter 3 - A Flash of Dyna

Matsuda was depressed, his best buddy wasn't here to see him leave. Said buddy's mother also couldn't get a call in as well, he really was depressed now…

"I'm sorry, Matsuda-kun, but Issei's…"

"...It's alright…" His voice sounded a bit bitter. "I can totally get him…" He tried to chuckle it out. "At least you're here, Motohama…"

"It would seem that Issei has found himself his partner…"

"He did the same with me, so it's even." Matsuda frowned a bit. "Wish he could've seen me off…"

"...Once he's home, I'll tell him to meet you in the space station." Issei was no doubt possibly having that time of his life after the constant nightmares he had in the past. His mother sounded a bit angry with him as well though…

"It's alright, Hyoudou-san." Matsuda shook his head. "Ise is probably enjoying himself after all those nightmares...I don't want to take that away from him."

"...I see…"

"Anyways...Hyoudou-san, Motohama...thanks for everything…"

"It's alright, dear...Issei will probably be stubborn about you leaving though…"

A nervous smile placed itself on his face. "...I can't doubt him on that."

"Thank you for being a wonderful friend to him."

"I wouldn't have it any other way with him. Umm, if you'll excuse me I'll be...saying my goodbyes..." Matsuda loaded the last of his baggage before going off to his mother, a short black haired woman with brown eyes and fair skin who was around 5' 6", he's already passed her with a mere 1", his mother looked at him with a teary eye.

"Ah look at you, going to Space already, the dream your father always had." His mother hugged her child. "He's going to be proud of you someday."

"I know…" Matsuda spoke to his mother. "...Are you going to be okay?"

"...Don't mind me. This house...if only he were here, he would've seen you off as well…"

"...Kaa-chan."

"You're going to leave the nest one day, I'm prepared for it. I just…" She looked at her family picture when he was a lot younger, tears threatening to burst out of her eyes, she sniffled. "It went away so fast...you were a baby then a child and the next, you were already a man."

"I…"

"Save it, you have a mission to go to. I wouldn't want you to be late." She wiped her tears off. "Now come, your uncle is waiting for you I'd say."

"...Then...I'll be off…"

"Stay safe and stay healthy…continue to recite them, all of your oaths." Matsuda grinned before nodding, going out of the house, he got to the rental car that was going to take him to Osaka.

"Matsuda!" A familiar voice came over as Matsuda turned to find Amy running towards him.

"Amy-chan?"

"Thank Goodness you haven't left!" She panted as she soon realized that there were other people. "A-Ah, hello, I'm Amy Stapleton…"

"Um, hello, Amy-chan…" Issei's mother felt a bit awkward, returning her greeting. "Matsuda-kun, Motohama-kun, Amy-chan, I'll be leaving now, Matsuda-kun, can you pass my goodbye to your mother?"

"Um, of course, Hyoudou-san. Thank you for coming…"

"I wouldn't miss it, Matsuda-kun, I apologize about my son."

"Don't worry about him…" Matsuda shook his head. "I'm happy that he's having the time of his life. It was about time..."

"Hmm...I see...thank you for understanding then, Matsuda-kun." The woman bowed before she left.

"Amy-chan?"

"Promise that you'll return here, alright?"

"...I will, that's a promise."

"I'll look forward to meeting you again…"

"Same here…" Amy got a bit red on her face.

"A-Anyways, since I knew that you were going…here…" She took out a small wooden charm, the size of his palm. "...Think of it as a charm."

"A charm, huh?" He looked at it before accepting the charm. It felt heavy, the block itself looked like it was carved in reference of an Ultraman's facemask. "...Thanks, Amy-chan. I'll cherish it."

Amy looked surprised by his words, "ah, you like it?"

"Yeah, it looks cool and all, you made it yourself?"

"Of course!" Her face flushed red. "So you'll be off?"

"Mhmm...thanks for coming, Amy-chan. Motohama, can you pass my...err goodbyes to Ise?"

"Certainly…don't worry about it. I'll let Ise know."

"Well, till we meet again." Matsuda got to the car before closing the door, he quickly lowered the window.

"Stay safe, Matsu." Motohama said his farewell.

"Don't forget to stay healthy!"

"Matsuda!" His mother called out before running out the house and bringing with her a box, a box of sorts that was cheaply plastered in duct tape. "I know this isn't...a sight to see, but take it with you...please…"

"Kaa-chan…" He felt conflicted about bringing this...box...he didn't know what was in it for one. "...I…" He looked at it before he sighed. "Alright."

"And son?"

"Yes?"

"Stay safe and…" She kissed his forehead as she held his cheeks. "I love you...alright?"

He smiled warmly, nodding. "Un!" That moment really made his mother remember every moment she had with him, her eyes went glassy as she covered her mouth to muffle her sobs.

"...I'm off then, Kaa-chan…" He said his goodbyes before the Driver acknowledged it as the sign to go. His mother waved at him, a soft smile on her face, happy that he could finally leave the nest and chase after his dreams.

But...why was the box so important?

Having left the neighborhood and going to the highway that connected to Osaka. He opened the box to find albums, an album of his family. His favorite toy plane that he got when he was a kid. An old laptop that he used to use when he was a kid.

"...Kaa-chan…" A sad grin on his face. "...Sorry, kaa-chan...that I had to leave you alone...so soon…" Tears streamed down his eyes. He already missed it, his mother's presence.

It took them four hours of speeding to get to Osaka, the city was massive as it is. Matsuda was one of the chosen few student aged teenagers to get to be on the trip. It was a sudden thing as well, his uncle called and said that he was one of the ones to go up to Mars.

The Neo Frontier had set itself on Mars, a GUTS crew named the Super GUTS had been established as a Search & Rescue as well as a Small Military to fend off whatever is going to cause harm against the Project.

It could be said that it was a Private Military of sorts. But enough of that, he had heard that Mars would be inhabitable in ten years time, which would be a huge leap for Planetary Colonization and a solution for Overpopulation.

Having arrived, his Driver quickly got out and took out his baggage. A trip to Mars...seemed like it was a dream come true after recon drones sampled the air and stated that while it was mostly barren, it was considered to be inhabitable with a small pouch of oxygen.

Using trees and Earthen soil, Humanity was able to produce oxygen on Mars, albeit a slow process, Mars' only difference would be its moon cycle where there are multiple moons up there and the red sand.

Ah, he hated it as it got everywhere, there was a reason he went with the hairstyle of BALD. Often being accused of pulling a Halloween Costume of some guy, who made bald guys have a bad reputation.

That aside, he had already reached his destination, his small figure was greeted by the magnificent building that would be the first step of going to space. "Matsuda!" He heard a man call out as he soon saw a man with graying hair, wearing a light blue colored uniform. "Matsuda, my boy. I expect your ride here to be...nice I suppose?"

"Err, yeah, ojii-san. So...why the sudden change of schedule?"

"Well, it was first delayed by a possible engine breakdown, but a thorough investigation led to some faulty wiring on the spacecraft. No worries, it's safe. Besides, there are a few GUTS Wings escorting us."

"Really!?" His eyes lit up. To see a GUTS Wing up close and not from a screen was a wild dream of his. "So cool!"

"Yes, but do keep your composure."

"Aye, sir!" The boy cheerfully grinned at his uncle, who gave a hearty laugh.

"Alright then! Can you carry your luggage?"

"Of course I can! I'm not a kid anymore!"

"See?"

"You're sure you don't need help?" Matsuda had carried out two large suitcases with his big box on top of one of the suitcases by his side. Despite his voice, Matsuda was struggling to balance his box on his suitcase.

"Nope." And still isn't surrendering.

"...If you're sure then." The process of getting checked in was quite long. Probably why he was asked to come earlier. It was a tough thing to try and pull the suitcases until his uncle brought a trolley for him.. "Biting more than you can chew?"

"..."

"Yeah, I can understand that." His uncle laughed at his nephew. "Well, the flight will take about a few minutes, so you can rest easy."

"Ah…" Matsuda can only nod as he embarrassingly pushed his trolley.

"Attention all passengers boarding Flight 2-1-0-Alpha-Delta, the Flight to Mars is now open. Please check-in by Gate 2-Delta." The speakers boomed within the halls.

"Well, that's our flight." His uncle spoke, Matsuda nodded. Well, he was going to Mars now.

"Yeah, jii-san." He was excited, aesthetic, so much he can't express it by saying words, he just grinned so widely in anticipation that when he looked out of the window. "How cool!" In front was the newest addition to the GUTS arsenal, the GUTS Eagle, a Variable Aircraft that splits into three aircrafts similar to the GUTS EX-J model splitting into the Alpha and Beta.

"Ah, the Eagle, if I weren't so old, I would've been flying that beauty…" His uncle grinned.

"Eagle, huh? What's going to happen to other fighters?"

"Oh the GUTS Wings? We're going to send them to Africa or South America, we pull them into reserve until further notice."

"Ahh, that's a shame...compared to other fighters of the USA, they don't have jack…"

"True, but it's mostly due to the fact that we have the best engines that allow the aircraft to go faster than any other, but they have to force themselves to slow down in order to hit their targets, the pilots only go to max speed if they are going to get to places easier." The man shrugged.

"Don't they have missiles?"

"The GUTS Wings are made to counter kaiju…"

"...But why? There was only so little time...unless…"

"You are right. Premonition of a New Era." His uncle nodded at the suspicion of his nephew. The Mars Project Commissioner sighed on the matter. "...Twenty years ago, a meteor fell out of the sky...it crash landed in Hokkaido."

"Yeah, I've heard of it, I heard that's when Specium was found."

"It was a lie. In order to have the public not panic, we disguised it as such. The premonition is not a wise one to be revealed. As it was said…"

Twenty Years Ago…

"So this Asteroid…" A young form of the Commissioner watched as scientists began to cut through the asteroid's outer shell with a laser cutter. "It landed in Hokkaido?"

"Yes, thankfully with no one in the vicinity." A woman spoke up, looking at the window glass.

"And you found it, huh? Good find, Izaya."

"Hahh, it's quite a pain to bring it back, Shunya."

"Of that size? I thought you were the macho-est woman of your ranking?" The woman, a younger Izaya stifled a laughter from coming out.

"That was bad, macho-est?" She questioned before stopping. "...But...it was far too...rounded…"

"What do you mean?"

"...I didn't think that the asteroid was that massive as our space station had not picked it up."

"Seriously?" Shunya questioned, eyes a bit intrigued by the matter. "That's some wild shit…"

"How hard is it for you to learn some language?"

"...Hold on." As the asteroid was cut, the thing split in two, revealing a hollow shell that housed a metallic pyramid of sorts and stored alongside it were crystals of sorts. Glowing a bright white-blue hue.

The scientists quickly began to panic as the crystal revealed itself to be radioactive, men in hazmats quickly barged in and began containment protocol on the matter, taking one of the longest grabber tools before moving the crystal into a container. "...What the fuck did we just discover?"

"...I don't think we should've taken this thing out in the first place…" Izaya held her breath before the pyramid object began to glow and cause some lights to dim out, somehow killing the power including the electric gates that lead into the room.

A small slide opened up and revealed a lense. A projection showed a hologram of sorts. "Greetings, my children of the generations ahead…" The woman within the Projection had white hair, cut into a bob cut, a single long strand going diagonally to her left cheek. Her piercing blue eyes gave her a sharp gaze and her stature was that of a young lady.

"...English?" Shunya asked.

"If this time capsule has reached this planet, then it means that the planet is undergoing an Era of Disaster." She spoke, her tone on the matter was grave.

"An era of Disaster?" Izaya narrowed her eyes, skeptical of the words being uttered.

"Within this Time Capsule would be one of if not the most potent weapon that can be used against them, Specium." The name of it raised a few brows. "A Unique Element that is mainly utilized by the Titans of Light, the Ultramen."

"Ultramen?"

"As in the shows broadcasted on television?" Izaya questioned with an incredulous look. Not buying the matter.

"These Crystals are also found within the Red Planet beyond the skies." Red planet?

"...Does she mean...Mars?"

"But...how does this work? I don't recall any civilizations having this sort of tech…"

"I am certain that many of you have questions, but within this dangerous Era, the Ultramen shall awaken. Tiga, and his two companions. He and the two others shall be able to overcome the beasts who will bring destruction to the Earth and to the otherworldly invaders."

"...Aliens...Aliens? Is that why the Time Capsule came back?"

"To warn us of their arrival? Then…"

"These events as we have predicted will begin in the next twenty years, the Rise of Golza, the Earth Shaking Beast and Melba, the Wind Shivering Dragon. Both will close into the Pyramid of Tiga."

"...Pyramid of Tiga?"

"If that is a thing, why haven't we found it?" Shunya muttered, the man looking awfully suspicious.

"It is only possible to find the place with the Bearer of the Light, the Successor who will repossess the body of the Slumbering Titan." The lady continued. "Until then...we can only provide you with only a few of these and until your kind reaches the Red Planet. The Fate of the World is in your hands…" The hologram cut out, the power came back on.

"...Tiga?"

"...Mars, we will need to set out for Mars."

"But...what if this is a trick?"

"It is too elaborate to be a trick. If this premonition is true then it would help us fend off the invaders."

"And if it's false?" Shunya looked awfully determined.

"Money can be bought back, lives can't. If we are to ignore this warning and it comes out as true, we wouldn't have anything to counter them with. That Crystal...Specium…" Shunya looked at the container. "Is that not enough proof that this is possibly real?"

"...I'll trust you in this…" The pilot shot him a glare.

"...Thank you…" He gave a weak smile on his part.

Flashback End

"...I felt something told me to trust everything I was told…it was a gamble, and I took it." Matsuda looked awfully perplexed by the story.

"So we were hanging on a thread of a possible prank that you believed?"

"...I would say so." His uncle, Shunya can only grin. "Besides, it all worked out." As the two relatives made their way to the spacecraft, Matsuda can only gawk at the scene. It was like a damn VIP class flight. "Make yourself at home. Just don't get too at home."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"No porn."

"Hrk." Matsuda flinched on the simple phrase. "How did you-?"

"Boy, did you forget that I was also in your shoes once?" He looked a bit disappointed at his lack of knowledgeable skills. "That aside though, enjoy the flight." It took a bit of time to get the other passengers in, some guards were placed, most of them were acquaintances of him or have served under his command.

"So the Mars Base...how big is it?"

"Well, we always expand, so I have no real accurate numbers…" Shunya muttered. "...I'd say...a hundred kilometers large?" He winced at the guess.

"...Well, that's big…? I guess…?"

"..."

That was an awkward moment between the two. "Attention all passengers, this is your captain speaking. Reminding that all passengers are to remain seated and have their seatbelts fastened before-"

It was essentially the same thing a pilot would say, so Matsuda just shrugged and got to his seat before slapping on the seatbelt. He didn't know what it would be like so obviously, he ain't gonna ignore it and all…

Paranoia is also something, he didn't want to get sucked into outer space, if something happens. "That is all, I hope that all of you can enjoy this trip." But he wondered how Hyoudou was doing.

"Erk, kuh…" Issei felt his body burn up as Vali constantly pressed more wet towels onto his body, trying to soak up the sweat and try to lower his heat.

Nothing was working, she woke up and then suddenly he was in pain, for a good reason too. His temperature heightened up too much, his body couldn't properly adapt and reshape itself.

His mouth spluttered blood as his throat was covered by his stomach acid, causing blood to flow out of its designated area. "Ise…" She couldn't help, but shed some tears at his suffering. "...There must be something…" She tried to look for an idea before finding one. "...Father damn it." She spread out her Dragonic wings.

{Vali!? What do you think you're doing!?}

"I'm easing his pain!" Vali yelled at her partner, Albion, who had been passive at this entire time.

{Vali, listen to me. This might be a good theory on your head, but by dividing his power. You will be receiving part of it to yourself! You will be transferring part of his body heat to your own!}

"How does that work!?"

{This is how it always works. Some Bearers of mine died, absorbing illness that my genes couldn't fight against! You have not truly synchronized with me, that heat of his might be the end of you if you absorb it.}

"What? You're scared of a mere heat?!"

{No...but this heat...it is not a common one...it is simply a Fever that can only be caused by too much exhaustion and overuse of power…}

...Overuse of power?

"...No…"

{It would seem he had broken his limit and with that, he bore the illness to it, his body is adapting to it, adapting to store more power…}

"What can I do!?"

{...Sadly, limited. Continue to lower his temperature, water shall be his closest medicine, get some other medicine that could lower his temperature...until then...he must rest…}

"...Thanks for the advice, Albion."

{Thank me after he's saved. You hold him dearly, don't you?} The dragon asked, Vali fell silent.

"...Yeah…"

{...That's all I needed to hear...help him then.} He disappeared within her mind, she closed her wings. She bit her lips as she once again had to rub his skin with towels of water, in hopes to help him recover.

"I won't let you die...so please...fight it, Ise…"

"We're here." Matsuda looked in awe as the spacecraft passed one of Mars' moon, Phobos. A few satellites had been installed for communication via the Cosmo Net. "Cool, ain't it?"

"Yeah…" He gawked at the structures, the captain came in through the speakers.

"Attention all passengers, please remain seated as we are landing at the Shuttle Dock." As the shuttle descended towards the ground, this was possibly the biggest achievement humanity has ever reached in the past years.

It was a long haul, to kill the tension between the two blocs of the People's Republic of China and the United States of America. Of course, Japan, alone cannot fight against the monsters without the help of sectors from both nations. The revelation to a secret UN Meeting to talk about the matter had brought the nations into a spiraling chaos.

The Specium that had been sampled was tested, the hologram's recordings had a way to manufacture them as a means of a weapon and a power plant. The Organization named GUTS and TPC became the vanguard of the Neo Frontier Era, for once the world tries to unite.

That was the history in a short way to explain the current situation of the Era. As the shuttle landed, Matsuda could see the alloy-based material glimmering by the red earth.

Red earth.

This was Mars.

But it was not a red crimson, it was more of an orange-ish hue with a bit of red, vermillion in some cases.

As the shuttle stabilized, he and his uncle got out to find clean white tiles, it was as if it was the first time there had been an intake of people.

"Welcome to Mars, boyo." Shunya grinned, a gleeful one, no doubt excited to show his nephew around the area. "Now, we should go to one of the compartments to store your belongings."

"Ah, okay…" It was like an airport. But on Mars, the baggage claiming section was busy, while it was not too crowded, he was seated on the VIP sector, the economics were mostly made of people who were coming to work or were not affiliated with the higher ranks.

"What's your opinion?" His uncle asked, eager to know what his nephew thought of it.

It was kind of clear to be honest. "It's amazing…" He'd say with a pair of sparkling eyes, a big grin on his face. "I didn't think I'd ever be on Mars…"

"Well, I'll gladly show you around."

"...Jii-san?"

"Yeah?"

"...Why did you suddenly bring me here?"

Things went awkward. His uncle suddenly went quiet, his face suddenly turned stoic. It was as if he had asked a forbidden question. "I...nevermind then…" He muttered.

"...Thought the same thing…" His uncle voiced his thoughts. The journey to his compartment was hella interesting, there was a sand storm, red sand flew with the wind and all the things that were the norm. Workers and civilians walked through the same route. There were multiple branches for the Mars Base with many having their each individual functions.

The Mess Hall, the Living Spaces, the Power Plant, the Command Centre, the Central Area, the Docking Yards and many others. The only area that wasn't connected was the Mars' Super GUTS base, the equivalent of GUTS for Mars, complete with the most advanced equipment and crafts.

"This will be your compartment." Said compartment was placed in the Guest's Block of the serial number, '1724'. It was spacious to say the least, it felt like being in a 5 Star Hotel. "Well, it's quite spacious."

"Ah...it is, thanks, jii-san."

"Eh, make yourself at home. In the meantime, I'll make up a schedule for the tour for tomorrow."

"Right, err…"

"Yes, asides that, I'll be going." Taking his leave, Matsuda sighed in the expense of the fact that he was going to be spending his time in his room. He looked around, everything wasn't as futuristic-looking like he thought it would be, the bed was the same, Queen-size, he got a PC of his own, mostly for his own entertainment, a Television and everything else he could possibly ask for.

The tour was mostly boring if Matsuda wanted to be honest, it started with the Power plant, while it was fascinating, it was just...boring for him, it wasn't anything too special, sure it was Nuclear powered, but instead of Uranium, it ran on Specium, that was the only difference. More power, but that's kinda it.

Then was the Mess Hall, which was a big ass cafeteria with lots of vendors and stuff…

Money, people, money. The best bit would be the Super GUTS bit, it was kinda the last…

"You look bored."

"Yeah." His uncle looked a bit understanding. "I don't think I'm too interested in science-y stuff…"

"Ah well, you're bound to learn about it."

"Right…so err what am I going to do in the remainder of the stay? I doubt I'm just going to just stay and study what I could do in school."

"Well...to be frank, I was told to bring you here after…"

"After what? I don't think I remember meeting you after the incident…" Matsuda looked a bit confused from what his uncle was telling him. His uncle merely sighed.

"...It is confidential, I need to confirm it after well...you wouldn't want to know about the details." The man dismissed. "Cutting that all, we're here."

"What do you-woah." Taking a look where his uncle was looking, he could see the GUTS Eagle that was from before. Placed under a maintenance bay with all three fighters disengaged and split into three jets.

"Yes, this is the first model, the very first to be commissioned. We have three more GUTS Eagles ready to be commissioned in a year, but for now, this is the only Eagle we have in store."

"The only one…? What if…?"

"...We have a GUTS EX-J and a Wing 1. We are confident in their strength to pull through this without a loss of a fighter." Shunya spoke with a confident grin. "Now. Let's meet them, shall we?"

"Eh? What, u-uncle!" Following his Uncle, the man turned to find a steel door that opened up, Matsuda stumbled beside him before finding a…

"Well, I wasn't informed that today was cleaning day." The room was being cleaned by the Super GUTS members, mops and all were being placed on full view.

"Commissioner Terashi! What brings you here? And who's the boy?" A boisterous voice coming from a man hollered over. The man was a 6 foot tall Asian, brown skinned from the sorties, near bald short black hair and brown eyes. His attire for the time being was the Super GUTS suit as did everyone else.

"Todoriki, err, yes, this is my nephew, Matsuda." Shunya smiled at the man.

"I-err, nice to meet you?" Said the teenager, having an awkward smile on his face.

"Haha, so this is your nephew, sir?" The old man looked interested in him.

"Yes, I was showing him around Mars Base. Either case, what's with the sudden clean up?" The Commissioner asked with a raised brow.

"Ehem, we were simply just cleaning up. Well, Super GUTS! Order!" The crew quickly ditched their mops and brooms. Matsuda was taken aback by the voice. Super GUTS had assembled a team of six, piloting 3 vehicles. It was obvious that five was a good number to man it with a communicator and techie. "Well, Matsuda-kun." Emphasising the suffix. "Do you have anything to say for yourself."

"Eh?" He looked a bit confused, his mouth open ajar.

"Of course it should be simple and short."

"...Errr...I...ehhh…" He looked awkward, his face red, as he was being watched. "...I'm a guy, who's...not good at a job and couldn't do the job well?"

The entire room went a bit awkward, as many coughed. Mustering his last bit of courage, he got some words out. "But, I guess I still try my best even with all my incapabilities."

"...Well, I guess you would need more practice on that." Todoriki gave an assuring smile. "If you people would introduce yourself to the rookie."

"Eh, Rookie?" Matsuda pointed at himself.

"Well, I'm Kirishima Unryuu." A man with dark skin spoke, his hair was made into a neat fashion cut, his eyes were black mostly and his height was still average for a man "I guess you're going to be a good potential member, Matsuda. Mark." He whispered to the next guy, standing on a tall height.

"Err, yeah, I'm Mark Rangers, I guess I can look forward to seeing a rookie…" He was kinda unsure, the air was already awkward, so he had to finish it quickly to be out of the pressure. He was a blonde European with blue eyes, a stout long face and his hair done in a slickback fashion, standing at 5 foot 7 inches.

"Ah, well, I'm the engineer, Feng Ru, pardon these idiots, they sometimes are a bit awkward." Said two members just glared at the short man with tan skin, deep green eyes and black hair cut, by far he was the second shortest.

"Hmm, I'm Mio Akizumi, the Ace Pilot around here. Nice to meet you." The woman was young, nineteen probably, brown hair to her shoulders, a pair of brown eyes and fair skin. Standing on a near similar height of 5 foot 4 inches.

"Y-Yea…"

"And I'm the communicator, Leah Waterson!" The girl was petite, that was for sure, 5 foot 1 inch, her hair was done into a ponytail and her eyes were a bright cerulean blue. "Nice to meet you, Matsuda-kun!" She looks way younger than she should for a woman in Super GUTS.

"Well, I'm the Captain, Todoriki Mizoru. Good to have you here, Matsuda."

"...I...err, the feeling's...mutual?" Honestly, at this point, Matsuda had his brain turned off from not knowing how to act. He had never felt this embarrassed in his life.

Ever.

"Well, Matsuda-kun here will be taking school work from the Mars Educational Center as a Transfer."

"A Transfer?" Kirishima looked a bit intrigued. "From Japan?"

"He's a numbskull, you see, but his physique is easily one of the best in the entire school."

'Mostly because it was formerly an all girl academy…' Matsuda thought to himself, trying to keep a straight face.

"Well, in that case, try your hardest, alright?" The Captain grinned.

"Aye, sir?"

"That sounds like a question."

"Aye, sir!"

"That's more like it, you have a good nephew, Commissioner."

"Yes, indeed."

A day had passed, the first lesson of the day was quite tiring, P.E. of course, it was the first day of the education school for him, being awkward, no one was noteworthy of his attention as he had Amy-chan, despite its size.

Matsuda kept her charm as a permanent item on him. The block of wood felt...right in place, like a part of him, so to say. He had been trying to avoid socializing with others, mainly because he felt like he was a bit of the…

Dumbest one, he supposed…

Seated by the edge of the window, he could barely see anything else other than the red plains filled with dust. The lessons were taught in English, of course, he had a hard time figuring that out with minimal English on his tests. Mainly from cheating off Motohama.

The first day was boring, so to say. He ended up walking through the halls alone. "Matsuda-kun, right?"

"...Eh?"

He felt a presence behind him before he turned to find a girl with dark blue hair...dark blue hair? Did she dye it or something?

But adding to it, her amethyst purple eyes and fair skin, her hair was tied to a side ponytail with a considerable amount of hair being untied. Wearing a similar uniform of the light blue with dark blue cargo pants, she dressed like a guy…

...She wasn't a femboy, is she?

"U-Uhhh?"

"Are you Terashi-soukan's nephew?"

"Terashi-soukan? Err, yes?" He answered nervously, not at all understanding the matter at hand.

"I have read your files, how could you be here with your abysmal scores?"

"...Err, look...I dunno anything, I'm just here for Mars...so err, can you leave me alone?"

"...I can't believe that he thought he could bring a fool into this…" She muttered out.

"Err...so, who are you?"

"...Tsubasa Kazanari...just know that you aren't welcomed here, Matsuda."

That made him flinch. The tone of it, his name was most likely in that file. But why is she being so hostile to him?

"So, Kazanari, huh?" Shunya asked as he made coffee in his office room. "She's always the kind of girl, who'd find the weakest link. In this case, you."

"But...why?"

Matsuda looked confused, not knowing the situation. His uncle turned his face. "Well, it is a personal matter, but let's just say you are occupying the position of another person…"

"Eh?"

"It is personal. She wants her own privacy after all."

"And, I don't get any?"

"She is the daughter of the Commissioner."

"Commissioner, aren't you the Commissioner though? Is she my cousin?" Shunya looked at the window, ignoring the question as he walked towards the glass pane.

"He is my Higher-up, so let's say that she thought my choice was wrong."

"Eh?"

"That my choice to pick you was wrong since she favors someone of her own. Of course, she was upset. The other person was not picked, instead, you were, despite your abysmal scores."

"Jii-san...explain to me why I am here…"

"...You are special."

"Eh?"

"Of course, everyone's special in their own way, but you differ from a human. Despite your lack of intuition...lack of...intelligence." The kid winced. "You possess a unique physique...that no one has...no one other than your father has, so to say. Your body under stress generates far more adrenaline and a form of painkiller that kills pain...causing your body to maintain what others can't."

"So…"

"In addition to it, that adrenaline-painkiller combo allows one to experience higher G Forces without being knocked out."

"Eh?"

"Your father had proved it after times with the Hundred Formula Plasma trial."

"...Hundred Formula Plasma...isn't that…?"

"...Indeed, his ship was found, but no trace of him…" Shunya looked into the distance. "I promised to bring you here to form your dream…"

"...I...so, this is…"

"Of course, you'd be kicked out if you do not perform better than anyone else. Other than on P.E, your scores are abysmal."

"Sorry…"

"No, it's fine, you tend to get more physical than intelligent." He laughed good-naturedly. "Besides that, hopefully, you can perform well."

"Aye, sir!"

For once, he had never been trying to learn English than anytime before. Writing in English was not something he was used to, alphabets were kinda hard to learn, mainly because he wasn't planning to do anything other than being Japanese and then...yeah, have no future…

He stretched as he began learning at school. Second day and all, he's been doing some grinding on his work. He won't let his dad's work go to waste or sully his name.

That was the plan until the sirens began blaring. "That's weird, usually the drills are-"

"Warning, this is not a drill. Please begin evacuation to the nearest shelters immediately. I repeat-" The teacher got interrupted by the blaring speakers.

The sound of stomps made by running staff quickly solidified it. "Alright, everyone! Remain calm!" The teacher yelled. "Head out the exit in an orderly manner, and follow the staff!" The students quickly got up, Matsuda was confused about how to act but followed awkwardly nonetheless.

He could see people running from either end of the halls. "Come, quickly!" The students ran, in a straight line, obviously, many of them tried to not look scared. But blatantly were.

(Insert: Ultraman Dyna OST - Invasion of Sphia)

He could see outside the window, UFOs of weird shapes firing green lasers at the Base. Causing parts to explode, and everything came to a halt as an ear piercing scream came through and all hell broke loose.

The students and staff lost their cool.

They began running towards the shelter. Matsuda had to keep up with them, he couldn't just die off here after all! Many of them stumbled as they went in, but by the shelter's door, a few meters from it was a weapons closet.

Did he really want to play the hero? Soldiers were already here…

But was he going to sacrifice himself for others?

But what happens if the Base is shot off? Blown apart? What guarantees their survival? Going to the shuttle docks was suicide as the crafts were slow…

Gripping his hands, he quickly ran towards the closet before he pried the door open. Guns and gear.

Taking one of the guns, the XX Bazooka Model B and a Break Shooter, taking one of the Oxygen Gears to survive outside the buildings, he quickly geared himself up. The Break Shooter being placed by his back, as he handled the XX Bazooka.

Getting out of the closet, he ran across the halls. His hands shivered, why was he doing this? Why wasn't he going to the bunker?

Something was calling him out. He didn't like it, but…

He didn't want to die a coward. Was that it? Because he didn't want to die as a coward?

Getting out of the Base via a Corridor, he could see the GUTS Eagle flying out in its separate form.

SPHIAAAAARKK…

The sound of a hiss resounded as a creature with dirt-like skin began to move towards the Base, its multiple eyes scanned the area, those beads of orange glowered before they pointed towards him.

Its mandibles opened up before a blast of orange lightning came out. "Wha!?" An explosion occurred in front of him. "Ack!"

The GUTS Eagles fired at the kaiju, only to bounce off it. He was already here, so he didn't have the time to run back…

He wasn't scared...he wasn't scared...he wanted to be an Ultraman, didn't he? He promised to protect the weaker guys and girls, didn't he?

That flash of memory played in his head.

"I won't give up! Never!"

"...HahhhHHHHHH!" Call it reckless, call it idiotic, but what he did was borderline suicidal. He fired at the creature, firing the Bazooka, the weapon fired off a blast of energy that exploded by the creature's underside.

SPHIAAaaaaRKKKK!

The smoke resounded, only to reveal no forms of damage. "Eh?" Just as he spoke those words, the creature fired again.

"Captain! Down below!" Mio cried out, looking as a small visible figure was shooting at the kaiju, codenamed Darambia. He began running the opposite way, trying to lure it away from the Student's Wing.

"That's reckless…" Kirishima can only mutter.

"All units form the Eagle, we'll take it down with Tornado Thunder."

"But sir, the soldier!"

"...If we do not destroy this thing...it'll kill even more people…"

"...Sir…"

"...I won't say it again…" The Captain bit his lips, in the Beta, Kirishima within Alpha grimaced, all of the members did. First combat sortie and a casualty resulting from friendly fire?

That will not be a good look for a resumé…

"It's either the soldier devoted to die for the people...or the children he's protecting," Todoriki spoke, his voice grim.

"...Understood."

"Then form up and get ready to fire the Tornado Thunder…"

From the ground below, Matsuda can see the creature firing at him as he dodged, trying to just get out of its firing lane. He fired back, an unwieldy position caused him to drop the Bazooka.

He couldn't pick it up as he jumped and narrowly dodged a stomp from one of its legs. Running away, handling the Break Shooter, he fired the creature from below, no form of real damage appeared besides smoke.

Then from above, he could see the Eagles uniting and…

Oh no.

He needed to get out of their ASAP!

He ran, throwing the gun in front of him, so he could run faster without its weight. He was a natural, running had been his passion and had been the choice to do when he and the guys were caught peeping.

The blast quickly exited the Eagle's front before smashing into the being. Matsuda had to jump and cover his head as the shockwave sent dust and rubble flying.

(End OST)

Getting up, Matsuda had to cough inside his helmet, being thrown to the ground had scuffled his lungs and innards.

The XX Bazooka was seen broken into pieces with the only thing viable on him being the dirtied Break Shooter. The being was destroyed into pieces, but…

The pieces began to morph back into the red sand it was, parts disintegrating into sand.

"We got 'em!" Feng grinned as he clapped his hand before he shared a high five with Mark within the Eagle Beta.

"Situation report about the man on the ground?"

"I can't say for sure…the dust cloud is too thick for a sitrep," Mark muttered, looking outside of the cockpit after recomposing himself.

"...Damn it…"

That was a bad move on his part, Matsuda can feel that his oxygen was slowly slipping off, the data reader had been indicating the leak.

Well, feels like he was going to die here. It was slowly getting harder to breathe. "Not here...not yet, not when I came so far…" He pushed on, his oxygen tank being at 20%, and dropping rapidly.

He fell to the ground as Oxygen Deprivation began to take a toll on his body. "Dad…" He tried to move his head. "I want to see it...the light that you witnessed in front of you…"

As he was about to lose consciousness, he saw a bit of a flash in front of him.

A white ceiling.

He could feel his eyes blink and see the white ceiling. "Eh?"

"Matsuda?" He turned to find his uncle, standing with...oh shit…

The Super GUTS members and that girl. "Jii-san?" He could only speak that as he felt his sore throat take an effect on his raspy voice.

"Easy, you've been asleep for two days after the incident." His uncle sighed, grabbing a seat. "You were lucky that Tsubasa-kun was brave enough to try and find you, otherwise you would end up dead."

He blinked, the girl saved him. "Why?"

"...It was my duty as the Captain of the Class. Simple as that." She didn't give a tsundere blush, her face was straight, merely performing duty rather than favor.

"Thanks…"

"Right...Matsuda…" Todoriki sighed, crossing his arms. "Might you explain why you tried to do the stunt that you did?"

"Eh? I...errr…"

"Cap'n, let's not interrogate him as soon as he wakes up and all…" Kirishima spoke. "After all…he just recovered."

"...Very well, I will be waiting for your answer, Matsuda-kun." The Captain spoke before taking his leave, the members slowly following as Leah gave him a smile before heading out, leaving him with Tsubasa and his uncle.

"...That was a dangerous stunt, Matsuda…"

"I know…"

"...Well, rest up. You were just reported to be waking up soon. Thankfully you diverted its attention to you rather than the shelters. I...don't know if that's bravery or stupidity."

"Perhaps the latter, I do not see anything brave about his actions." Shunya simply stayed quiet at the girl's remark. "Do try to not compromise my position."

"Right…"

"Commissioner. I'll take my leave."

"Of course." As she took her leave, Matsuda could feel anger coming from his uncle. A sigh came out of his mouth. "Were you really that suicidal?"

"...Well…"

"I'll applaud your bravery, but I don't want to get my nephew killed in action, not after the trouble I had to go through to get your father's wishes across."

"...Sorry, jii-san."

"Don't say it, mean it. Your mother was skeptical about this, I want you to get good grades, so I can get you here via regular means…but..." It was already obvious. "I owed your old man, and I wanted to make it up to him...this is the cost..."

"..." Matsuda can only stay silent as his uncle put a straight face.

"...Rest up, you still have many grades to make up for…and many hours to fill with the time you spent resting." His uncle can only walk out as Matsuda bit his lips as he laid his head by his pillow.

"Stupid head...why did you make me do that?" He can only mutter out, having woken up, he couldn't get back to his sleep, or coma, or something…

Then he remembered the moment he saw the flash. "...What was that light?"

The Mars Base had been put on High Alert as possible Alien Invasions were high, laser cannons and railguns turrets had been placed around to gun down any flying aliens or unknown bogeys on the radar.

The Staff was working a skeleton crew shift to reduce potential casualty numbers. More funding had been placed to the Mars Base and a faster commission time for the Super GUTS team.

Within a meeting room, Shunya and Todoriki were sitting within a room with a handful of people of high rankings. "So, this picture was taken from the Satellite, Argo, which is currently floating around Neptune." Said picture was a photo that was still being rendered upon the screen.

Once rendered, the photo bore the black space and bright dots representing stars, then within it were sphere-like objects colored in grey with black net-like patterns.

"Those are the things that attacked the base." Shunya can only mutter at the sight.

"This was taken a day ago, which would mean more are coming to Earth or Mars. We do not know what their intentions are, but we are certain that whatever it is, they will harshly affect humanity…" The Head of the Mars Base Project, the Director spoke with a somber tone. "Captain Todoriki, what is your assessment?"

"...I do not know of these things, but for all I know is that they do not like humanity's advancements into space…" He spoke out of his mind. "I believe that they wish to thwart upon us, to try and destroy us to keep us on Earth, static of progress."

"I see...then, we shall rely on you and your team, when they attack us once again."

"Understood."

"Director, sir-" Shunya got up, bowing respectfully. "But if there is any way to gain help from-"

"I do not think that is an option, Earth itself is in danger, the appearance of the Giant, named Ultraman Tiga by the being known as the Kyrie already proves that we are alone on this. Earth's Defense System has not been upgraded to the point of servicing the GUTS Eagle…"

"But at this point, when we are overwhelmed, we are doomed."

"That is why we are here, aren't we? Shunya? We are acting as the Vanguard, a buffer zone between the aliens and Earth. It is only by this time that we are the farthest away from Earth, but hopefully, we are capable of servicing our teams." The Director explained. "We are, but a mere buffer zone…"

"...Then…"

"No worries, I have no intention of getting my people killed." He smiled, before looking at the screen. "However, at this point of time, casualties...are inevitable…"

"...So they are…"

What was that light…?

Why am I here?

What am I here for? Dad...tell me...what am I supposed to do? Matsuda can only fly through his endless void, never once stopping.

What is my purpose in this world?

He slowed down as he can begin to see twinkles, stars across the endless pitch-black void.

'Those stars…' He muttered within his head. 'They're beautiful.'

"Hey dad? Why do we always try to go to space? Isn't Earth nice enough?"

"Matsuda...you'll realize that humans...humans never really want to stay in one place that is why we always try to go to space. To explore and find new places in this vast galaxy." He could remember those words from his old man.

'Old man…' That's right, he always wanted to go to outer space. He always wanted to fulfill his dad's dream when he was reported MIA. That was his…

'I'll fulfill it...my final mission, for you, old man!' He reached his hand out as if trying to grasp for the future and invisible wind placed in front of him. Then a small twinkle appeared as he tried to reach out.

'Eh?' The light glowed warmly before it turned into a spiral of light, shining ever so brightly before it engulfed him in a blinding light. "Ah...UWAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"HAH!" He jumped out of his position, breathing heavily, the monitor beside his bed rapidly screeched as he got up, sweat drenched his face.

"That light…" He clenched his hands. "...I'll do my best...this is…" He remembered his father. "Nothing compared to what that old man had to go through…"

Matsuda got up off his bed, his legs were cramping, possibly due to their relatively inactive phase during his coma. Grabbing the pair of crutches, he began to slowly let his legs relearn how to walk before he fell to the ground.

A thump resounded. "Ahhh, that hurts…"

His thump could be heard outside the room as the door slammed open with an angry voice booming. "What are you doing!?" He could hear a girl's voice pierce through as Tsubasa came running from the doorway. "You're supposed to be in bed, you moron!"

"I know, but...I want to get up and walk around." Matsuda gave his not so good excuse. "Why are you here?"

"As Class Captain, I'm supposed to visit you, this is why I should've not taken this responsibility." She spoke with a tone of distaste.

"Ah...sorry for troubling you."

"Save it." She snorted before she helped him get up. "Try not to hurt yourself anymore. It wouldn't do both of us any good."

"Right…"

Then the alarm went blaring. "Another attack!? Great!" She yelled sarcastically. "Follow the staff, I want you safe."

"But what about-?"

"I'll be fine. I'll come to you when you've evacuated."

The attack that came around the Base was big, with less AAA emplacements, the battle was far more one-sided. The GUTS Eagle in their separated forms flew through as they began to enter a dogfight with them.

Guided Missiles in the red barren planet was not recommended due to its current atmosphere, even until now, they weren't preferred due to their complexity compared to the newer Heatray Lasers, which dealt far more damage with better velocity, but that didn't help them much with lesser number superiority.

"Alright, Command Center, how many Jocks are we up against?" Todoriki questioned as the Eagles began to open fire, the bolts quickly killed off a few pairs of Sphias before the Command Center's communicator responded.

"Our Radar is detecting around fifty Jocks," Leah spoke as the Captain looked at the situation. AAA emplacements fired their shells and lasers, trying to make their shots count, but even with the targeting system, the Sphia's illogical movement caused them to evade their shots.

"Damn it. Split, we can cover more ground that way." Todoriki ordered as the formation of three broke off and found their own targets as Sphias blasted apart some emplacements.

"Hah...hah...hah…" Matsuda had to try and gain his mobility as staff hauled beds and medical equipment to get their patients into the protected facilities.

He could see a glimpse of chaos outside, few corridors exploded on the other side. Causing structural damage and failure, leading to people being smashed under heavy piles of scrap metal and foundation.

Pain is what he could feel as he couldn't help, but feel hopeless at the situation at hand. He was powerless to stop any of this if there was something he could do...he would've…

If only…

(Play - Ultraman Dyna OST - The Moment of Destiny)

No…

Feeling around his body…

His charm…

No, fuck, he should get it. Quickly. But what if…

He had to decide quickly! To get or not to! Making up his mind, he quickly turned his crutches and ran towards the other side. Or run if he could as he tried to run with his legs still pained and restrained.

Come on…

Come on…

What is this compared to what others had to go through, huh? Huh?!

He began to feel his legs bearing more stability before he began to speed up, more muscle memory came to his mind as his legs began to move.

He let go of his crutch then he ditched the IV Liquid Stand as he pulled the needle out of his hand and began to run, his body, while weak, was still working.

And he ran. Running, he was making a run for his room as he skidded and got into the room. Looking frantically, he saw the wooden charm placed by his bedside desk.

"Yes...sorry for leaving you…" he hugged the item in question before he exited the room, only to watch the corridor explode as a Sphia blasted the corridor apart. "ARCK!" Matsuda fell from the wind that blew over, people were injured with some getting killed immediately by debris.

He knew he couldn't do anything, but...isn't there something that he can do? He was human and so, he tried his best. He picked himself up before he stumbled across a fallen man in need of help to stand. "I got you, sir!" He picked the man up by the arm.

"Thank you, boyo…" He winced in pain as Matsuda began to help him move. The boy could see other people struggling to help themselves or others, the staff, while injured, ignored their pain and tried to continue to assist others.

Was this how it will be when these things attack? Will it always be ended with tragedy? No...he couldn't accept this...he wanted to explore space...and these things were getting in his way…

Clenching his fists, he began to haste his movement. "O-Oi, slow down, boy!"

"I can't, sir...in a moment like this...moving as fast as possible is the only way we could guarantee our survival." He reasoned, and he began to hasten his efforts.

That was before another Sphia appeared and blasted another hole into the corridor, pushing both men to the ground. "ARGH!" Matsuda winced in pain as more casualties were added into the count.

He couldn't bear it anymore, he wanted to go to space, but damn him, if he was gonna watch these people die from these invaders! Getting up, instead of helping the man, Matsuda made a radical call to an emergency Oxygen Gear that was placed in case of emergency.

Taking one from the five pieces, he quickly strapped it to his face, a pair of goggles to let him see without being blinded by the dust and a mask over his nose and mouth to help him take in the oxygen.

Running out from the gaping hole, he waved his arms. "OIIIII! COME HERE, SCUMBAGS!" He yelled, trying to get their attention. He ran from the facilities and corridors, trying to get the invaders to fire on him, which would mean one shot less fired at the facilities.

He ran, despite his injured state, he managed to keep up, only for an extended period of time as he would run out of stamina. And knowingly, die.

'This is then.' The Sphias took the bait and fired upon him, missing the small target due to their lacking accuracy against smaller targets. "I'm here, you freaks, come and get some!"

At the end of it all, don't give up on your dream.

What was it that he looked up to so much that he willingly threw his life into the fray?

Hikari no Kuni kara Bokura no Tame ni, Kitta zo Warera no Urutoraman~

That's right…

Ultraman…

That was his wish.

To be Ultraman. "Didn't you say Ultraman comes when everyone's doing their best?" He muttered as if he was speaking to someone. "...Then why? Why isn't he here?"

Tiga had appeared within times where they weren't even dire...and now when everyone's in need of saving…

He isn't here?

Could Humans really rely on Ultraman?

(End OST)

BOOM!

"ARGH!" Matsuda was thrown across as an explosion exploded in front of him, the impact didn't do much other than threw him backward.

"Please…" He muttered out as laid still. "Why? Why isn't there anyone? To...save us?" A spark lit up within his eyes. "I don't wanna give up, but with all this...what is there to do?"

Despair set in.

"I want to believe…" He reached out towards the sun above. "That Ultraman...is there...to fight for others in need…to protect those weaker…"

"Please." And a small flash appeared, Matsuda can feel a warm presence. "Eh?"

(Play - Ultraman Dyna OST - Moment of Destiny Part 2[Starts at 2:20 for Extended])

Then he sourced it through, finding that the feeling came from his pocket, the wooden charm glowed a surreal blue glow.

"...What's...happening to me?" He muttered in confusion. His body began to feel rejuvenated as if he was being healed…

"This feeling…I'm...Ultraman?" He asked himself in shock and surprise. A twinkle from the charm resolved his idea. "...I'm...an Ultraman then, huh?" He then looked at the charm before nodding. He held it with his hand placed by his left hip before he moved his arm, stretching it diagonally to his right upper side. "DYAH!"

The middle part of the charm opened to reveal a hidden piece, which opened up like a lever, revealing the piece which shone with light. A blinding light engulfed Matsuda, before forming a spiraling pillar of light.

"Eh? What is that?" A student within the safe room asked as he pointed to the television screen of what was happening. Of course, this led to other students and staff alike to watch as a golden pillar of light formed within the screen.

"No way…"

"That can't be real."

"This has to be a joke…"

Tsubasa amongst the crowd watched as a figure stood within the pillar. Silently, she could only mutter in awe. "Ultraman."

"What is that thing?" Kirishima muttered from the Eagle Alpha, stirring away from the pillar as Todoriki couldn't help, but stay silent, lost at what was going on.

"It's huge, that's for sure…" Feng spoke. "...This is comparable to...could this possibly be Ultraman Tiga!?"

"The Giant of Light who appeared in Tokyo?" Mark questioned.

"Whoever he is…" Mio can only look at the pillar cautiously. "He's massive."

Rising from the pillar of light, a giant with a mostly silver body covered in red and blue color rose, around his neck, and going to his chest was a band, similar to that of Tiga's. But it didn't end by the color timer, it formed a V with no borders within the band, like Tiga's it was gold, his color timer was more of an upside down long pentagon, his head was not in the shape of a mohawk, but more akin to a High Mohawk which gets thicker the further front it gets, by its center was a head crystal bordered in with gold. The red of his body was placed by his upper half with the blue by his lower half.

As he rose, his pose was akin to the original Ultraman's rising pose. As the light dimmed, his pose quickly changed to that of a fighting pose, a bent over form with his hands similar to the original Ultraman's fighting pose, hands open and his right arm upfront with his left angled and placed by his side.

As Shunya helped on hauling an injured worker, he soon caught a glimpse of the Ultraman, standing in front of the corridor with his attention on the Sphias. "Tiga!?" A worker muttered in shock.

"No." Shunya could only answer. "That's not Tiga, but whoever he is. He's an Ultraman." He spoke with a tone of relief and joy.

The Giant quickly looked above as he saw the Sphias gathering up, forming a line like soldiers of the older days with their firing lines, but with far more firepower. Firing their beams at once, the Giant was placed in a tight situation, with civilians behind, he was forced to block those attacks, arms stretched with a barrier forming in front of him.

As the beams were deflected to the ground, the Giant had his arms move outwards before forming an 'O', a faint blue glow appeared before disappearing, as that happens his band glowed blue before dying out, by the time it died, his hands were by his shoulders, he launched both arms towards the Sphias and fired off a Slicer from both his arms.

That got most of the Sphias to be shot down with few surviving, they shot their lasers at the giant, anticipating their attack, the giant moved his arms to intercept them, the green lasers were ripped apart before the Giant shot out a Hand Slash which destroyed two of them. Four remained before he caught some lasers shot by them and then formed his own energy and fired it off towards them.

Finally shooting them down, the being stood firm with his head high.

(End OST)

"An Ultraman…"

"I can't believe it…" The safe room's residents couldn't help but feel awestruck and dumbstruck on how an Ultraman appeared and destroyed the aliens easily.

Most didn't know what to say due to how sudden it was. Tsubasa can only narrow her eyes as she observes the titanic being. It was very sudden that the Giant of Light appeared…

A few days ago, Tiga, now this new Giant?

"Another Ultraman...so the Prophecy of Three...it's coming together?" Shunya muttered as he and the other staff watched as the being stood in between them and the Sphias.

As the Giant stood before the facilities, parts of the destroyed landscape began to take shape, the Ultraman noticed as an earth formation formed into a large being.

Its exterior was rocky and spire-like, colored in brown and textured roughly, a pair of orange eyes came to life as the being got onto its four limbs, screeching out. Rising from its form, the Giant took its stance, bracing for imminent combat.

The creature was reptilian in nature, no form of fur, it had a pair of hands which were stubs, no form of digits, but a blade-like piece attached to its arms.

As the two beings gazed upon each other, the GUTS Eagles could only watch as the newcomer and the kaiju looked at each other. Not knowing whether the Ultraman was either, an ally or a foe.

That's the end of Chapter 3. Well, I've been working on stuff, so apologies on the delay of the chapter. I still have two other chapters waiting for revision. Soooooo :p Stay tuned for those.
