Arc 1 - Prophecy of Three
Chapter 4: New Resolve
Todoriki can only watch intensely as the ultraman faced off against the newly formed kaiju.

It hissed at the being, before the latter nodded to himself and began to close the distance.

Running towards the kaiju, the latter fired off bolts of lightning from its horn. The giant answered them all physically, parrying them with his arms, sparks came flying, but no form of pain was evident as the giant lunged and grabbed the being by the arms before dragging it along and rolled on the ground.
The silver giant got up before he gave the kaiju a kick to its guts when it was still down before he grabbed its tail. Pulling it, the giant managed to lift it off before he swung it a full circle before letting go of it, causing it to fly over a distance.
As it came crashing down, the giant jumped into the air, intending to dropkick it, but unfortunately for him, an electromagnetic barrier formed before it sent him flying backwards when the two forces made contact.
The giant was sent flying before falling to his back, a quake ensued from the force of his landing. Despite having lesser gravity, the giant's weight was still immense and with the height he fell over, the force was enough to shake the surface and cause dust particles to fly.
Seeing the opportunity, the kaiju got up before it fired off its 'hand' with a rocky flesh-like rope attached to its stubbed arm, as the ultraman got up, the hand wrapped around his body before electricity channeled through.

Falling to his knees, the giant cried out in agony, as he tried to free himself from the clutches of the being. "...All Units, open fire at the kaiju. Assist the giant, no, the ultraman."
"Roger!" Opening fire at the kaiju, the creature cried out in pain as its grip around the giant weakened, causing the giant to be able to hold it with his two hands. A bright light shone upon his arms before he tore the appendage from its flesh rope.

Backing away, he put his right hand by his folded left arm's arm joint before firing off three Hand Slashes, which were deflected by the kaiju's shield. Realizing this, the giant circled his arms outwards and then put both hands on opposite shoulders before firing off a Slicer, which tore apart the shield.
"Take the shot!" All three GUTS Eagles fired a relentless assault, giving no quarters to the kaiju as the giant then placed his hands to a '+' sign which many ultramen did as a finishing move.
Sure enough, a hot beam, with an electric blue hue coupled with dashes of red, fired off from his hand, flying towards his foe before striking the kaiju, the beam formed a glazing orange disc around the kaiju before disappearing into the center of the blast.
The kaiju froze as the ultraman ended his beam attack, his color timer began to blink in a constant and even pace. Returning to a relaxed position, the kaiju then exploded in a spectacular light festival manner.
Seeing that his job was done, a pillar of light formed as he soon disappeared into nothingness.

Matsuda coughed and wheezed as he got to the ground, walking towards the broken facility walls, he got in and fell to his knees. The battle took a beating on his form, as he got up, he took off his gear and discarded them before laying against the walls.
"...That was…" He muttered out before taking out the wooden charm that Amy had given to him. "...Did Amy-chan know of this?" Of the fact that the charm she made, became a transformation device? Essentially a Beta Capsule? Surely not…
Right?
Whatever the case, he began to limp his way through towards the corridors, yet again...
"And you're doing fuck all once again, Matsuda, I'm disappointed in you." His uncle spoke as he and Captain Todoriki faced off against the boy.
"...Sorry."
"Sorry's not going to cut it, Matsuda." His uncle spoke with a hint of bitterness.
"...Is there any way to...redeem myself?" Matsuda asked, still wishing to find a way to stay on Mars. His uncle looked a bit thoughtful for the time being before nodding to himself, he looked at the Captain of the Defense Team, who got the hint.
"...Super GUTS had been a bit lacking in numbers lately…" Todoriki answered, a bit slowly. "Seeing your...determination, I can recommend you, but...with your current needs of supervision and recklessness, and lack of experience. I can only bring you so far…"
"Y-You mean…?"
"Of course, you'll need supervision, therefore, I'm appointing a supervisor to watch over you when you are placed as a Junior Officer."
"I…" Matsuda, within his head, was happy, however… "Huh...I should feel a lot happier…"
"With the sudden turn of events, it is hard to feel something when they progress ever so quickly." Shunya shook his head. "Listen, Matsuda. You are my responsibility and Todoriki-san's as well, do not screw this chance. And Tsubasa-kun would be responsible for this as well…"
"Yessir!" Matsuda exclaimed before he coughed at the name mentioned, God forbid that. "Who'll be my supervisor again?"
"Tsubasa Kazanari."
"...Shit…"
"Shit indeed."
"So Junior Officer, I am surprised that you were accepted to Super GUTS." Tsubasa spoke, mostly out of courtesy if nothing else.
"And you're one as well…"
"...Indeed." She looked nonchalant, taking in the situation lightly. "I'm not sure if I should be as the statistics showed that Super GUTS is currently understaffed for this kind of warfare of numbers."
"...You do know many things, huh?"
"I read a lot."
"Figures." Matsuda can only mutter to himself. Reading, God, he didn't like reading that much. "Tsubasa-"
"Kazanari-san would suffice, we're not on first name basis just yet and I doubt it."
"...Sheesh." He could get out from his lips. Tsubasa could care less about him, as she sighed.
"But why weren't you in the shelter? I have checked with the staff and you weren't in any of them." She asked, her eyes were onto him, she didn't look like she was letting go of this as well.
"I...er…"
"Still being borderline suicidal on saving everyone?" She asked, before flicking her finger on his forehead. "Remember, your spot is reserved for someone, and I will not let someone that suicidal get killed and still occupy the seat for the rest of the time you will spend here. Got that?"
There was some worry, but more borderline pissed at him. "...Yes, ma'am."
She sighed. "Good, then try to keep up, first things first. You've met the members I assumed, so obviously you'll be spending time socializing with them."
"...Eh?"
"Now come on."
"Wait a minute! Wait!" Matsuda called out as he was soon enough ignored by his own supervisor. "Why me?"
"I didn't think that you were suicidal enough to try that a second time, Matsu-kun." Feng commented as Matsuda had his lips on a straight line.
"...Can you knock that off?"
"Well, not really, no." Feng shrugged.
"You've gotten the Commissioner to a lot of trouble as well." Mark chimed in as well.
"Ahhhh, this'll be a pain…" Matsuda wasn't looking forward to this.
"Let's not talk about that, but about the Ultraman!" Leah bubbly popped up. "He'll need a cool name since he didn't have a name as Tiga was named by the Demon himself!"
"A cool name?" The rest of the members asked, puzzled, Tsubasa can't even fathom this.
"Yeah! Like Ultraman...Dyna! Dynamic Dyna! Dynamite Dyna! It sounds cute as well!" She chirped out like a ball of energy, the guys and gals looked a bit weirded out.
"But Dyna...I would've named him...Ultraman...Long." Feng responded with his own.
"Like hell we are calling him Long." Kirishima interjected, having no form of interest in the name of Long.
"No, it needs to sound even more powerful." Mark replied, getting the looks of anticipation from the other officers. "Like Ultraman...Super GT."
"THAT SOUNDS LAME!" The seniors exploded, Mio had to shake her head at the matter, sometimes deciding a name is an agitating and annoying thing.
"Let's just stick with Dyna! Dyna's cool! Let's just name him Dyna!" Leah practically was begging at this point.
"Fine! We'll put it up as a vote." Kirishima sighed. "For those in favor of Dyna?"
Leah had her hand up immediately, Kirishima shook his head, he could work with the name, better than Long and Super GT. Mio surprisingly joined in with Matsuda.
"That's a win by a landslide," Kirishima observed.
"Ah, we can name him-"
"That's final." The dark skinned cut off the Chinese's sentence.
"No fair!"
"Dyna…huh?" Matsuda asked as he felt his chest for the warm object. "Ultraman Dyna…"
"He'll be so loved by the kids on Earth and Mars as well!" Leah can only squeal in excitement. Matsuda had to admit, it sounded cool. And…
...Wait…
He's going to essentially be the children's guide and idol...

Well, fuck.
Matsuda leaned by his chair as he looked at his charm, the Reflasher as he calls flashing the light in a more reflective manner than generating its own light.
How'd that work? He's not a physics scientist nor a professor and it sounded cool, that's all that matters. It sounds cool and nothing else.
"So I'm an Ultraman…" He spoke to himself, reminding that this was not a dream. The object glowed ever so slightly. He had his feet on the desk, getting the chair to stand on its rear legs, he looked at the ceiling.
"Am I really up for the job?" That was one question that lingered. "Who am I kidding…?" He looked at the charm. "He chose me...so I had to be up for the job…" He shook his head as he got the chair to fall on all its four.
Then there was a knock on the door. At the sound of it, he panicked a bit, putting on his Super GUTS Jacket he quickly got up to the door, he opened it. "Yes?"
The creak halted as he met face to face with Leah. "Hey, Matsu-kun, mind if I ask for a cup of tea?"
"Leah? Why aren't you asleep?"
"Wha-I'm not a lil girl, Matsuda...that's kinda rude…" She gave him a pout.
"I, ah, sorry...err, I didn't mean to-"
"No worries." She beamed up at his apology, going back to her normal self. "Can I come in?"
"I err…yeah...sure." Putting away his charm, he opened the door, which resumed its creaking noise.
"Oh, it's nice." She said as she looked around the room.
"What kind of tea do you want?" A part of him was thinking that this was one sick dream as if he's gonna abandon Amy-chan after that one sudden date. Which was weird, but really touching from the girl.
"Oh, umm, Ocha's nice. I don't mind Jasmine as well." The kitchen set was neat, it looked similar to a hotel room than a proper all-in-one bedroom. Taking out a cup, he ripped open a sachet before dropping the bag of green tea leaves into it and poured water into the heater. "Ne, Matsu-kun…?"

"...Ummm, yeah?"
"Do you think Dyna's a good name?"
"...Why are you asking me about that?" He asked, a bit taken aback by the question.
"I...just wanna know, since err...the other members are older...Tsubasa-kun's a bit...don't tell her this." She whispered to him, although a bit louder as she wasn't really close to him. "Mean." Even without her word, he'd get what she meant by moving her mouth.
"Oh."
"...So...err, what do you think?"
"...It sounds nice and cool." He'll go for the route of nice and caring. No point to break her heart and tell her that it's stupid, especially when he think it was neat as well.
"Really? You...don't need to lie."
"I...no, I'm not lying."
"...Well, the truth is...Dynamic Dyna...Dynamite Dyna were just an afterthought of the real name."
"Eh?"
"I got it from the Japanese word, 大好きな(Daisukina), which translates to love, I got that inspiration from an anime...it kinda sounds cheesy. Since...well, I want him to be loved and adored, just like ultraman." She smiled sadly. "After all, I was a fan of them until the hiatus."
"...I...see." Matsuda nodded in realization.
"Still, I think it's kinda girly and all."
"Actually...no, Dyna's…I like that name." He smiled, a grin on his face.
"R-Really? E-Even if it sounds cheesy?"
"I think all the good names are kinda cheesy in some way." He dumbly responded with an awkward smile.
"I...yeah, ehehe...funny, how out of everyone, I got along with you just fine."
"Well, I am a Super GUTS member and very young, so…obviously I should be friends with everyone, right?" He tried to put up a bravado, only to have Leah laugh.
"You're kinda obvious, Matsu-kun."
"I am? I-I mean, I am not!"
"Haah, but either way...thanks, Matsuda-kun."
"For what?"
"Getting me to feel better about naming the Ultraman, Dyna."
"I mean...ano…"
"Well, I'll see you around again, I'm going back to my room." She skipped to the door before opening it. "And thanks again, Matsu-kun." She smiled before stepping out and closing the door.

"...Weird...wait, she didn't even drink the tea!" The tea! Matsuda can only sigh as he poured the boiling water into the cup, it was already too late to put it back, since it's basically done. "What a pain…"
"Wait, we're being transferred to Moon Base?" Kirishima asked, vocally confused.
"Yes, due to the damage sustained by the Sphias, High Command has deemed it incapable of housing the Super GUTS. Until renewal, you will be stationed on the moon, the EX-J is already transported there, leaving us with the Wing 1 being transferred later on." Shunya spoke, Todoriki was silent at the matter, letting his subordinates process the matter.
"So, we're going to be on the Moon Base?" Leah asked, a bit quivering.
"Unfortunately. Until repairs are done, we can't let you operate under these circumstances." The Commissioner spoke.
"Err, what's wrong with the Moon Base?" Matsuda asked and got a wince from a lot of them.
"...We'll just say that this isn't our first rodeo with aliens."
"Wait...you're saying that-"
"Yes." Matsuda understood what the man meant and nodded, staying silent.
"The Base was closed under maintenance to make sure nothing is wrong, but due to the Mars Base's completion and better suited mechas, it was only a fort on the moon, simply put, it is being taken care of, but not much of a priority." The Commissioner sighed. "This will be until further notice, your Base of Operations will be the Moon Base until then." The man turned back before leaving.
"...So...err…" Matsuda was a bit confused about the whole ordeal. "How are we going to get there?" The members sighed with Mio shaking her head.
"Ahh, how am I supposed to fly this thing?"
"Didn't you score a minimal score for the Flying Test!?" Tsubasa was a bit panicky as the Alpha flew a bit rigidly.
"T-That was a Flying Test for fighters!?"
"You jumped in thinking it was a game!?"
"I was kinda sure it was!"
"Did it say Fighter Simulator 2000?"
"It did!"
"That was a Flying Test for GUTS pilots, you moron!" The Alpha was getting steadier as Tsubasa began to run Co-Pilot commands on the Alpha before handling the Fighter Jet. Making a steady climb from Mars' surface.
"Well, apparently you would need some work, huh?" Todoriki questioned, his face a bit amused. "No worries, you weren't really in any danger, but of course, you'll still need to get used to the atmosphere."
"Hai…" He groaned out of pain.
"Can't believe you got accepted…" Tsubasa muttered out, having the Alpha climbed towards the sky and out of the atmosphere. In a few minutes, they soon joined the other mechas.
The Main Hangar door that opened up to the combined GUTS Eagle was jammed and unfit to deploy the mechas, so they had to be sent out individually. "Alright, GUTS Eagle. Form up!" The transforming sequence was as followed, the Alpha joined its rear to the Beta's front, clamping in as the Alpha's tail folded in two, flattening itself, the Gamma depressurized itself as its cockpit began to slide out and join up the Alpha-Beta formation. Clamping itself to the back of Beta and had its lower hull clamp in with the lower side of the Alpha and Beta.
"Alright, now Neo Maxima, start up!"
"Roger!" The Neo-Maxima is a new form of energy that humans had developed, mainly from the power of specium and some Earthly elements, which created the Neo-Maxima energy, the first tests were done within the Moon Base. It was a wonder of human ingenuity in all honesty.
The moment they arrived on the Moon Base, the Base came into full view. It was old, a rectangular, aging alloy-based fort, tinted windows that protects anyone's eyes and the UV from the sunlight with no standing atmosphere and ozone field. There were some turrets armed with what looked like laser systems, mostly looking like they were used for an Anti-Spacecraft system and big enough to defend against kaijus in space.
Or at least hold out against them to defend the fort. The Moon Base as it was called, was originally named Fort Luna, built by the Americans and Europeans with some Asian aid. It was a multi-nation project and currently it is unoccupied with the fact that spacecrafts are capable of going to Mars without stopping on the Moon, meaning that it was mostly a mothballed base.
In any case, the GUTS Eagle soon came into the Moon Base's sensory system as it identified the craft, causing the door to begin opening, despite its old age, it was well maintained with a skeleton crew to keep in well maintained during emergencies, the Super GUTS craft soon landed on a platform as they went in, when the door closed shut, they turned off the engines.
"Warning. Pressurizing the Spacecraft Compartment." The lack of Oxygen was highly dangerous, which could lead to obvious Deoxidation, good thing is that the Moon Base had come prepared and pressurized itself, a good supply of trees and artificial light was able to create a small liveable space for quite some time.
"So this is the Moon Base!" Matsuda gaped, giddy at how he was at the Moon.
"Yes yes, now don't get ahead of yourself, we still need you to learn how to control the Eagles." Todoriki gave his words, sighing with his hands on his hips.
"Eh?" Matsuda blinked before a giddy face took over. "EHHHHHHHH!? Really!?"
"Well...this won't be good," Mark muttered out, Kirishima nodded at the British's comment.
"I don't think that kind of thing would work out well…"
"Haha, no worries, it'll be like driving a car." Todoriki laughed as Matsuda pursed his lips.
"I haven't even driven a car…"
"...It'll be like riding a bike."
"I second that."
"Well, there's a first time for everything, now, all of you get settled with your current situation and settle in with your rooms." The Captain crossed his arms as he spoke, the members just had to answer with.
"Roger!"
"So I'll immediately be taking the GUTS Eagle!?" Matsuda was gingerly excited, first of all, he walked through the corridor with the Captain, who looked at him with a smile.
"Well, you need to condition yourself with the real deal than a simulation, just like how using a tank in real life is different from playing a simulator tank." He compared the two subjects. "So yes, I'll need to recondition you with them, are you fine with that?"
"Hell's yes!" Matsuda pumped his arms outwards. As the GUTS Eagle was separated, Matsuda was given an option to pick his fighter and obviously. "Eagle Alpha!" Speed Freak.
"You're sure, huh?" Todoriki sighed before he nodded. "Well, I'll hold you accountable."
"Oh…" As they got into the aircraft, Todoriki let Matsuda do all the work. "So errr…"
"I'll let you figure out how you'll start the aircraft. Since you did see Tsubasa did it, didn't you?"
"Err...yeah." He nodded. He was inwardly panicking as he looked at all the instruments and all the things that had a gauge. "..."
"Did you get it?"
"...Fuuuhhhh, alright, check the oil pressure, the fuel bar, checked. Then just...flaps." He pulled the joystick as the parts began to align, the cool thing about the GUTS Eagle was how it was much more compacted and more useful with the fact that it could hover like a helicopter and fly like a normal jet.
"Hmmm…"
"Then...engine...ignition." He adjusted a switch before he grabbed the lever by his side. "Alright, this is GUTS Eagle. Alpha. Ready to take off." His declaration was heard loud and clear as the crew controlling the hangar door began to open.
"GUTS Eagle. Alpha. Take off."
"Quite stiff, but workable." Todoriki commented as Matsuda flew the Alpha outside of the hangar.
"And the Captain's off with the rookie." Kirishima sighed as the team watched the GUTS Eagle Alpha take off from the hangar. "I wonder if he's going to get in trouble with him."
"Who's who?" Leah asked.
"Ah, Matsuda getting in trouble."
"Oh, I see."
"But still he should be in good hands, the Captain's reliable." Mio shrugged off as she watched the jet climb.
"...Too reliable some say."
"That's the old man, I guess." Leah bubbly spoke up, Kirishima and Mio looked at her. "What?"
"We don't say that around the Captain."
"Well, duh, that's why I said it here." She made a smug grin curve on her lips.
"...That's fair, I suppose." Mio nodded in understanding. The man also nodded before shaking his head.
The days went by with a bit of no form of interesting things happening. Surprisingly, the Mars' base recovery was going fine. It was also something that they had received a GUTS EX-J to add more firepower if need be.
"You're improving slightly, the most important thing is to not wreck the Alpha. That's the only Alpha we have until the other two are finished." Todoriki explained as Matsuda simply nodded.
"Aye, sir!"
"He seems lively," Mark commented, Feng nodded as he took his sip of coffee.
"Weird."
"The hell are you two talking about?" Kirishima asked as he placed his hands on the two guys' shoulders.
"Nothin'." They answered, looking from the scene and sipping coffee.
"Well, I believe that he'll need to get better on piloting, otherwise he'd be dead weight." Tsubasa sighed as she got into the conversation.
"Indeed, he'll need to learn the ropes." Kirishima nodded in agreement. "But still, the Giant-I mean, Ultraman Dyna hadn't really come out, has he?"
"No, I suspect that he is behind the kaiju attacks." The Junior Supervisor gave her opinion on the matter.
"Eh? Why would he do that!?" Leah had her more naive side get to her.
"It'll be easier to conquer when the enemy gains your trust." The bluenette spoke coldly. "I am not inclined to trust him."
Leah looked like she was about to explode before Mio grabbed her shoulder. "No need for that, Leah-chan, now come, help me out with some stuff."
"...Haiii…" She drawled out before following her senior, leaving the conversation as it is.
Unknown to the Moon Base, bits of Spheres, cluster-sized Spheres dropped to Earth, gathering in one spot, an abandoned electrical generator and one on the moon's surface, hundreds of them began to form ordinary-sized spheres, before slowly melting into them.
Matsuda was in his room as he began typing his email to his mother. He had brought along all his stuff with him, it was kinda lonely without her as always. Her cooking is always good, ah, he was a mama's boy to be sure.
But he missed her, despite being independent. It was normal for him to do so, he continued typing the letter, he could feel that he was missing out on Amy-chan.
So he typed a letter to her as well. He could hear the word, "Simp" run in his head as he typed this. "...Ah fuck…" He cursed to himself, deleting a portion of his letter, it contained too much cheesy content and overall was awkward and creepy than heartfelt and touching.
"...I can't write this letter…" He muttered out before scratching his head. Sighing, he can only look above, glancing at the ceiling as his arms were folded behind his head. "I should probably just...ah, damn it…"
That was before the alarms blared. "Eh? Eh!?" He quickly got up before putting on his jacket uniform.
"What's going on!?" Matsuda came into the meeting room as the members were being briefed.
"We are detecting a massive energy spike on Japan, GUTS Far East are in need of assistance!" Leah reported the situation, typing through the main computer. "Projecting it on screen." From the screen, the being was given a distinct look, reptilian in nature, a dark shade of brown and stone grey. Its eyes, however, glowed an amber yellow, four of them to be exact.
"Darambia?" Kirishima asked, the being that appeared looked very similar to the being that appeared on Mars, albeit its shade, but the shape no doubt was basically Darambia. But on its back were tesla coils, on its chest would be multiple alloy parts that stuck out.
"It evolves? This would be cool, if it wasn't out to kill people!" Feng exclaimed to himself.
"Alright then, we can't leave things unattended here, so Matsuda, Kirishima, Mark, Mio and Tsubasa are going on the GUTS Eagle. Super GUTS. Dep-"
The base shook, causing the members to suddenly lose balance. "K-Kaiju spotted within the base's perimeters, Captain!"

"What!?" The screen showed a camera outside the base, turrets turned towards a kaiju, moon gray, it sported eight legs, akin to a tarantula, multiple eyes glowed as its mandibles opened up. "Another Darambia!?"
"They're attacking us to weaken our response time. Leah, what's the ETA of other GUTS Branches?"
"Nothing good, an hour or so. The creature is headed right towards a city!"
"Dammit...the plan is the same, however we will be using the GUTS EX-J to defend the base, Feng, you and I will defend the base from the kaiju."
"Roger that, Captain!" Feng saluted.
"Super GUTS! Deploy!"

"Listen. The moment you get out of the hangar, immediately climb and head to Earth, understood?" Todoriki asked as he buckled up in the GUTS EX-J α with Feng in β.
"Aye, sir!" The members answered.
"Good, don't die on me." Matsuda was placed in the Alpha with Kirishima supervising him, Mark was placed in the Beta and Mio with Tsubasa in the Gamma. The turrets were firing as this happened, a grand total of sixteen around the base, each filled with 4 cannons each, 32 cannons fired at the beast, lasers flew and bounced off its shield.
It fired off its own attack, in the form of a lightning bolt, the bolt obliterated a turret immediately. Before firing another one, the turrets were barely a distraction as the hangar bay opened up, the GUTS Eagle quickly flew out, dodging a lightning bolt aimed for them, but as it was fired, a laser intercepted it and caused it to explode before it got to the Eagle.
"Woah, that was close!" Matsuda exclaimed, the Eagle quickly flew towards the Earth, leaving behind the EX-J to their own devices.

Vali can only bite her fingernail as she watched the human's news channel, Issei had still been undergoing his coma. The attack that was being launched by the electric kaiju was devastating to say the least. Being out in the open daylight, no supernaturals would want to be publicized after the stunts before.
"Ise…" She can only hope that there is another Giant from the prophecy to defeat it, but then again. Those two statues had been fell and destroyed into pieces. For once, she had her hands tied as the world watched that the kaiju continued to venture through towards Tokyo.
"Mark, do you know where the kaiju's going?" Kirishima asked.
"No, too bad we don't have Feng for this...can't believe I just said that." The European muttered to himself.
"Well, enough dilly daddle." The Eagle reached the atmosphere as GUTS Wing 1s and a GUTS Wing 2 fired their older laser systems at the being. It bounced off its shield, the kaiju simply screeched before unleashing torrents of lightning that sparked through the forests near the city.
"Damn it, this is Super GUTS Member, Kirishima Unryuu, anyone copy?:
"This is Commander Minato Kazuya, copy, thanks for coming. Seems like the kaiju's more than a handful."
"Thank us when we've defeated the kaiju, over." Kirishima responded. "Begin loading for Tornado Thunder."
"Aye!" Mark simply began inputting the codes before he saw errors on his end, continuing to try and fix it, he began to be a slightly desperate.
"Wait...fuck! No, no, no, no, this can't be happening…" He swore to himself.
"What is it?"
"The system's...malfunctioning! I swear I've had the maintenance team troubleshoot it!" The entire team was a bit worried now as Mark tried everything.
"Could it've been the explosion from before?" Mio asked, Mark continued to swear.
"Fuck, that explosion must've shaken the Eagle too much and caused the malfunction." Mark gritted his teeth.
"We can't do any field repairs, damn it, Formation 3!"
"Roger!" The GUTS Eagle began its splitting before turning into three aircrafts. The Alpha and Gamma moved in, as the Alpha fired its lasers, the shield deflected it, the same result went for Gamma as it fired off its lasers, and Gamma had the best penetration capability of the three aircrafts, aside from using Gyner, their best weapon against kaijus if Tornado Thunder isn't available.
"Damn it, nothing's really working." Matsuda muttered out, Kirishima could sympathize with him, but couldn't let him act irrationally.
"We'll figure out a way, for now, look out for its attacks!" The creature screeched before slowly moving towards the city. "Attack it from behind, Matsuda."
"Alright…let's see how he can handle this." The Alpha quickly turned, sharply at that, causing a flux of G momentums before it stabilized itself and the cockpit before firing off its lasers on the kaiju's back.
It bounced before the kaiju halted and charged up electricity on its dorsal tesla coils. "Look out!" The tesla coils sparked and shot out lightning bolts of golden colors, striking the back of the Alpha, frying all of its components and tearing the engines.
"ARGHH!" Sparks flew within the cockpit as the jet soon began to come down.
"Matsuda-tayii! Kirishima-tayii!" Mio shouted out into the COMMs before the jet landed with a crash.
"Bloody hell, what the hell do we do? We can't use Tornado Thunder and now we're out of options." Mark muttered.
"This is Kazuya, regroup on Area Point D5."
"But our teammates-!"
"This is an order, hundreds of lives are at stake. Evacuations have not been completed." The GUTS Far East Commander spoke with a tone of authority.
"But still-"
"It'll be fine, knowing Matsuda." Tsubasa spoke without a hint of care. "The kaiju is not interested in them, but towards the city."
"Tsubasa-chan…" Mio narrowed her eyes.
"I trust him to be fine. If he's not, I'm gonna meet him in hell."
"Urgh…" Matsuda had to cough out a groan before his eyes opened to blaring lights. "Eh? Ah...Kirishima-tayii?" He slowly turned to find the senior knocked unconscious with blood flowing down his face. "Kirishima-tayii? Kirishima-tayii!"
"Leave me, just go save yourself…" He muttered out as Matsuda could only look at him with a pained look.
"I'll come back for you, Kirishima-tayii…" He quickly ran towards the exit before stopping, taking out his charm, he nodded to himself. "Dyna...let's go!" He raised his hand, but unlike before nothing happened.

"Wha? Why!?" He asked as he looked at the charm. "Why now? Of all times?!" The screeching of the kaiju could be heard from afar. "...I'm an Ultraman...so why can't I use your power to fight!?"
The charm only stayed quiet. Matsuda had enough of it before he took the XX Bazooka B and rushed outside. The crater had made a rather large clearing, a sight to behold, but it wasn't the time as the clearing had made the kaiju obvious to be seen.
Matsuda can only nod to himself before running towards a nearby hill, far from the wrecked Alpha. As he continued running, he turned to a small clearing by a cliffside. "Alright!" He quickly took aim at the kaiju before he fired. The Bazooka's shell flew and exploded right on its back. "Yes! Gotcha!" The being halted for a moment before turning towards him. "Oh no…" Without warning, it fired off its lightning and caused a landslide to the cliff.
The ground shook as Matsuda was soon sent falling as the platform he stood on began to fall, trying to run away didn't even do anything as the gravity was playing against him. "Come on...Dyna…"

"What do you want from me?" Time began to move slower, before coming to a halt. "Who are you? Why me? Why give this strength to me? So many questions...so little answers…" He soon realized that his mouth was saying out loud his inner questions. "...Was this why I couldn't transform? Because I had questions that I can't answer?"
His mind slowly processed this, realization came to him. "No...it wasn't that...was it? It's doubt...I'm doubting myself...the fact that...I'm afraid…" He muttered out. The charm began to feel warm. "So that's it...that's why…" His face mustered a determined look. "...Let's go...Dyna! DYNA!"
As the kaiju continued to approach the city by the seconds, the Super GUTS and GUTS aircrafts quickly fired a torrent of lasers, which it deflected by its electromagnetic field. "Damn it!" Mark cursed out as he continued firing.
"Nothing's working…" Mio muttered out as she continued firing before firing off Gyner, the concentrated blast was quickly deflected and the deflection caused it to bounce off and explode within their proximity. "Kuh!"
"This is bad…"

Then all of a sudden, a pillar of light shot out of the ground. A myriad of colors shone as a Giant of Light appeared from within the pillar. "That's…"
"Dyna." Mio muttered, a grin on her face, the Ultraman stood with his iconic pose from the 60s as the light around him dimmed.

Assuming a fighting stance, Darambia screeched before it began to charge. Dyna quickly caught its horn and arm, as he tried to push the kaiju back. Then all of a sudden, the kaiju erupted in a spark of lightning, electrocuting Dyna and sending him flying backward.
Landing, he quickly did a backroll just in time to dodge a lightning bolt. Then open a barrier to defend against the countless lightning bolts Darambia fired off. Letting it stay, Dyna quickly flew up before he took a kicking pose before causing himself to descend and strike the being, hitting it by the bead, before doing a backflip and landing on his feet while his foe fell to its back with a shake of the ground.
Sprouting his hands out, Dyna began to gather light around him before putting both his hands on his shoulders, his protectors sparked before he fired off an energy wave that Thunder Darambia blocked with its shield, breaking away the attack, Dyna recoiled in surprise. "No way, it's stronger than before?" Mio asked, eyes widened.
The kaiju retaliated by firing away lightning bolts, to which Dyna began to dodge by cartwheeling backward, but still, by the fifth cartwheel, he was shot down by a lightning bolt.

"Dammit! Mio! Let's help him!" The two mechas quickly moved in, GUTS fighters soon joined in as the kaiju was soon pummeled with multiple laser beams from the coalition of GUTS mechas.
The kaiju deflected them all before it fired off its lightning bolts, Dyna quickly took notice of this before he got up and fired a hand slash, intercepting the lightning bolts before he looked at the Mechas. Nodding to himself, he began to extend his hands like before, a bright light appeared around Dyna and once more, he fired off his Flash Cycler.
The blast had a similar result before he soon fired off his Finisher, the Solgent Ray, that attack too, was dispersed by the being's shield. "Che, what can we do, nothing's working out," Mark muttered as he looked at the situation at hand before Dyna's color timer began blinking. Indicating the loss of energy, Dyna thought of his options right now before deciding that he'll need more power to break through the shield.
More Strength. To be stronger, that was when he realized something, he then relaxed his figure. "Eh? What's he doing?" He soon crossed his arms in front of his chest, his forehead crystal flashed before his color timer produced a light that blinded the pilots. "What the-?" Mio can only mutter those words as the light died, Dyna had changed colors.
His physique was far more muscular and akin to a bodybuilder, red energy seeped out through his body, his body was mostly red with a silver collar on where the Tector was supposed to be, that continued on over to his arms. And silver on his sides that go down to his joints before forking out. The golden color around his crystal turned red.

Assuming a fighting stance, Dyna quickly readied himself before running towards the beast, each step caused the earth to shake as if his muscle density had increased, thus giving more force into his punches. He soon threw a punch to the electric kaiju on the chest, the chest of the kaiju sparked out, the kaiju itself was also thrown backwards from the amount of force.
Soon enough, Dyna assumed another stance as the being soon fired off its lightning bolts, forming his shield, Dyna soon backed away and slowly pulled his fist back before punching the shield towards the kaiju, the kaiju soon was hit by the shield and was electrocuted, despite its capability, it was like a bee.
Vulnerable to its own poison. Dyna ran towards the kaiju before knocking it off its feet, grabbing onto its leg, he began to lift it and swing the kaiju around like a ragdoll. Swinging the beast multiple times before letting go, the beast fell to the ground and rolled.
As that happened, Dyna soon placed both hands on his color timer before slowly bringing it upwards and then formed a ball of red energy, looking as if it was made of fire due to the heat it was producing before he took a step back and had his left palm out and right fist pulled back. Then stepping forward, he fired off the ball of fire with a smash of his right fist.
That ball flew towards the kaiju, which was struggling to stand up before it blew up in its face, scorching it harshly and painfully. The scorch marks were everywhere, but Dyna wasn't done yet, seeing how it was resilient and durable. He soon pulled his right hand backwards, filling it with energy, the fist glowed red with heat then he began to run towards the staggered kaiju.

After reaching a sufficient distance, Dyna punched the kaiju by its face. All went quiet as the fist made its mark. "...Did he get it?" Mark asked as the Mechas soon hovered.
"I…am not sure…" Mio answered with a murmur.
Then as if to answer, the kaiju blew up into pieces as its whole entity exploded into pieces of its flesh and rubble. "He did it!" Mark yelled, laughing as the Giant of Light soon relaxed his stance.
"So...the Red Giant is a warrior of strength and power...just like Tiga's Power Type." Tsubasa muttered as the ultraman soon looked at the fires caused by the kaiju. Crossing his arms again, he flashed back and reverted back to his Flash Type. His color timer kept blinking, but he didn't pay it any attention.
"What's he doing?"
"...Don't tell me he's going to attack the city…" Mark muttered, Dyna soon put both his hands together, in a crossing form before his hands fired off a pump of water, putting out the fire within the vicinity, this continued for a few minutes before he then looked towards the sky and flew.
"...Damn it! The Moon Base!" Mio cursed as she realized that the Moon Base was still in danger. "Come in, Moon Base!"
"Nothing's working on this thing!" Feng yelled out as he was in the EX-J β, firing his lasers, nothing seemed to work against the kaiju. "If only we have Tornado Thunder!"
"That doesn't matter! We'll still need to destroy this thing without it destroying the Base!" The turrets had been destroyed, nothing was left other than the two fighters, the shield that was activated was barely holding up.
"Dammit!" As Tarantula Darambia was about to fire its next bolt, a flash of azure quickly bolted towards it before making contact, soon enough it destroyed the creature without much of a hassle. "...Who did that?"

"The Base's Turrets are gone, and...Dyna?" From the distance, Todoriki could make out a figure, it was blue overall with black and silver color schemes, the shoulders were covered in black and a silver border, shoulder pads had a similar situation alongside its sides as well. The being's head was similar to Dyna's head, sporting a crystal, but colored in blue, however, the eyes were sharper, then there were black linings by its side of its head. The being's color timer was bordered with gold and shaped more like an inverted triangle.
His form was bent over, his head placed more to the front, his right arm extended with his left arm reserved. "...That's not Dyna."

As it was done, the being stood up before turning his back away and walked away before disappearing from view.
"...Who was that?"
"Yosh yosh, Kirishima-san, you'll probably be needing a few days off to feel better." Leah grinned as she placed her custom bouquet of flowers to the vase. "Just as a reminder. Don't. Get. Too. Hast-y. Kay?"
"Yeah, alright, God dammit." He clenched his hand around his casted arm.
"Well, this is probably a lesson so you don't order reckless stuff to our Junior, yeah, Matsuda?" Feng asked as the Junior in question just looked a bit weirded out.
"Eh?"
"...Ehem, anyhow. Rest up. I'll get you some of mom's herbal brews for you to drink." The Chinese exited the room.
"Well, get well soon, I guess…" Matsuda muttered out, a bit guilty on the inside.
"Oi, don't blame yourself. I'm the one who called the shot, so don't get too worked up on yourself." Kirishima assured the bald kid.
"Yeah, umm, alright." He nodded hesitantly, then awkwardly walked out.
"...He's still not over it, is he?"
"Obviously not." Leah shook her head. "I honestly worry about him."
That's the second chapter, I'll upload the next chapter on the day after this. The next chapter will be the last of Dyna's appearance and will focus on Gaia's, but due to lack of action. I would add some action on Gaia's introduction chapter cluster from Tiga and Dyna.
