Chapter 6
Hello everyone i've got chapter 6 for you, and guess what, it's the christmas season. Which also means we will have a christmas special soon. That special will include Sora and Ellie, I don't think anyone else will show up for their christmas party since they don't really have any friends… yet…. Oh well here chapter 6, I don't own gacha world.
There was a cold feeling in the air, as if all the innocence in the world had been sucked away. I felt like killing someone, but I continued walking closer and closer to the source of this feeling, towards the corruption.
"Sora… are you ok?" Ellie asked quietly, I looked down at the tiny fairy who was hovering a little bit in front of me. Worry shined in her little eyes as she flew up closer to my face.
"I'm fine Ellie" I lied, in truth I felt absolutely terrible, it felt like my chest was on fire and the flames were getting hotter and hotter the closer we got to the source of the corruption. The little fairy didn't seem to believe me but she quickly turned towards the direction of this feeling and froze. We were at the edge of the forest and there was a beached ship with several different types of goblins crawling all over it.
"Do you think the source is on it" I whispered to Ellie, the fairy gave a tiny nod. Whatever was on that ship it was going to be a tough fight.
"Ellie over here" I scrambled over to a tree and looked the fairy dead in the eyes. "If anything goes wrong, i want you to run and not intervene. Understand?"
"Wait-"
"Ellie do you understand!" I felt terrible for cutting the poor fairy off but this is something I needed to do to ensure her safety. Ellie nodded slowly, I could see tears blooming in her usually crystal clear eyes. The burning in my chest flared and I winced before standing and unsheathing the Gacha sword.
I let the calming power of my blade course through me and before launching myself out of the woods. With the gacha swords power I was able to enhance my body to the point in which I could outrun a cheetah, or punch through steel, but with every power there was a cost I would have to pay. My feet kicked up sand as I barreled forward towards a group of surprised goblins, my sword changed element type for each goblin, matching their weakness and making it easier to cut down.
A growing hunger started to grow inside me as the ruby droplets of blood spun through the air, the death of my foes felt delightful, and the burning in my chest was turning into something else… i didn't know what.
A crazed smile broke out on my face, and I soon found myself enjoying the pain and bloodshed I was causing. My sword spun through the air beheading a light type goblin and then burying itself into a wind types stomach. A sudden sharp pain filled my head causing me to stop and freeze, sweat dripped off of my face and tears swam in my eyes as the pain grew. It became too much for me to stand, my sword thudded on the sand as I sank to my knees.
My vision started blurring and suddenly it felt like I was being torn between two different places. Things began to overlap and soon I was staring at an entirely new world, there was a brick building in front of me, and children were running and playing everywhere. Nothing about this place made sense, there were moving metal shells off to my right and weird shining lights above me.
"Man this guy is so weak" a small voice laughed, this drew my attention towards a group of kids over in a shady part of the yard in which all the children played. I slowly stood up and walked over to them, at that time one of the other small children barreled straight right through me. Gasping I reached for my chest where the kid had gone through, I wasn't real…
What was happening, more and more children were walking or running right through me. They couldn't see me, they couldn't hear me, feel me… panic started to grow inside of me, was this some form of hell? The colors of this world started to swirl together, until I was finally back on the beach. I gasped for breath as my living nightmare faded away ever so slowly.
"Now what have we here?" someone above me sneered, i looked up and my panic exploded inside of me, filling every part of my body. It was a yellow haired pirate with glowing red eyes. Black cracks seemed to spread up from her hands and legs. With a quick glance I was able to see my sword next to my right hand but as if the girl had known what i was going to do she flicked her cutlass under my neck and held it there, small droplets of blood dripped down it's blade.
"I wouldn't do that if i was you" the pirate laughed, her voice was like ice and seemed to crackle with every syllable she spoke. What was it Ellie had said to me a couple days ago about cleansing corruption? To purify them, by using the gacha sword, this meant I had to do something very stupid and dangerous. I dug my heels deeper into the sand and vaulted myself up and backwards away from the pirates sword.
"Gacha summon creator Luni" i yelled raising my hand and channeling energy into it. Luni appeared above me and looked the pirate up and down before raining a bunch of rockets down on top of both of us. That's right, I was in the attack zone. My body was burned and shredded from the countless bombs luni had dropped. But I could feel her disappearance from this world as her summoning ended.
I could barely stand but still I lunged for my sword, as my fingertips brushed the hilt the feeling of strength started flooding my limbs. Pushing all my strength into my left hand I slammed it into the pirate girl's face, pain filled my body as the sword took its toll on my body for this purifying. I could see tendrils of corruption reaching out towards me but they soon crumbled to ash and soon I found myself flat on my back, my lungs struggling to pull in breath. Why hadn't I used lilith? I grumbled in my head as my vision started to grow darker and darker.
Well that's the end of chapter 6, hope you guys liked it. See you all in chapter 7
