Arc 1 - Prophecy of Three
Chapter 5: The Blue Titan
"..." Issei can only blankly stared at the ceiling before he got up and- "Ahh, dammit…" He groaned as his entire body was numb and aching from lack of movement. Muscle fatigue took over as he couldn't move his body freely.
"Ise?" He could hear Vali's muffled voice out of the door before she came in. "Oh good, you're awake! I got worried about you!"
"How long was I out for? What happened!? Was everything alright!?" Issei was a bit too scared as Vali shook her head.
"No, don't. You've been knocked out for a week, which is normal, since you're not used to it. Kaijus appeared, but thankfully...well...you can see it for yourself." She turned on the television before she got to the menu and played the previous programs, which was featured.
"Welcome back to the News. I'm your News Anchor, Wataru Atani. On today's news, are the Giants of Light or as children call them. Ultraman." The news soon showed Tiga's appearance from his battle with the Kyrieroid which left him in a week coma. And then another Ultraman, dubbed Dyna, who fought against a rock kaiju with tesla coils. "The Ultramen known as Tiga and Dyna had appeared and seemed to have destroyed the kaijus. But for what motives? We do not know for sure, but experts acknowledge that they are trying to win our hearts for their own greed-"
Vali immediately shut the television. "Vali?"
"...I can't stand that, you know? You tried saving them and now you look suspicious to them."
"...Yeah, I kinda hate it, but...well…" Issei looked a bit sheepish and nervous. "I don't know? What can I do about it? If you interfere with their plans, then…"
"...Yeah...I know, but still…"
"Just...leave it to rest. People will always be like that, we just have to accept it." Vali looked a bit pained, but nodded. "...So wait, I got a partner in crime now?"
Vali had a neutral look on her face before it began to shift. "Errr, maybe?"
"And you're out." Matsuda grunted as he got tossed to the ground, Todoriki had been basically toying with him in the training session. "You really need to practice more, Matsuda." The Super GUTS members had worn a karategi, although it was more a formal wear for practice than a karate uniform as they trained multiple martial arts that would be exhibited.
"Ah dammit, old man." Matsuda got up and stumbled upon doing so, looking a bit too dazed to be up. "The real battle starts here."
"He's been muttering that for a few times." Mio observed as she watched the guy getting once again tossed around and out of the ring.
"Y-Yeah, don't you think he's overdoing it?" Leah asked with a bit of a worried tone.
"Well, he is doing it on his own." Tsubasa tipped in.
"But still…"
"I'm not done yet!" Matsuda tried to run and punch the old man, only for the punch to hit air as the Captain dodged the fist by crouching and fisting the boy by the abdomen. "Urgh…"
"You still got a lot to learn." The boy fell over as Todoriki stood up.
"Honestly, at this point, I should be teaching him martial arts." Feng joked around.
"You do know you are kind of a bit of a senior on Wing Chun, right?" Mark pointed out.
"Hahhhh, that's an idea." Feng grinned.
"Just don't push him too far." Kirishima sighed, still having his left arm out of commission.
"No worries, I won't beat him up too much." Feng waved his hand off before Matsuda was heard screaming as he was tossed off again, landing out of the ring.
"Geez, he never gave up, but at this point, he's being too stubborn." Leah commented as she can hear the boy hyperventilating as he tried to get up.
"I think that's enough training."
"T-That was training!?" Matsuda slumped down. "D-Don't you lessen the difficulty so that they can learn?"
"Listen, Matsuda." Todoriki sighed. "You are not going to pass if you keep thinking that your way is the best way to do things. You need to branch out and explore other techniques you can use."
"But-"
"Your simulations as I observed had you flying recklessly and constantly firing without a tactic. Every time you simulate, you always end up crashing the jet, win or lose. All I am saying is that if you wish to be suicidal. So be it, but don't obstruct the others in their line of duty, you hear?"
Matsuda can only answer with a silent nod, as he can only grip his hands and bite his lower lips out of the embarrassment and looks he was getting before running out.
"Matsuda-"
"Leave him for now, Leah. He'll need his time alone." The Captain spoke slowly. "He'll need to learn that the world doesn't revolve around him and his expectations from it."
Matsuda just laid on his bed, staring at the ceiling. His room was a mess, dirty clothings had been kicked all around from frustration, some plastic cups were on the floor. It was a miracle that he hasn't smashed any of the more fragile objects.
He just hugged his pillow tightly, hoping that the cycle of embarrassment was just a dream. Knockings came out from his bedroom door. "Matsuda?" He could hear Leah's muffled voice from the door. "Matsuda? Are you alright?"
He was about to answer, but…
What if she was there to laugh at him? What if she was there to mock his failures? Paranoia and multiple insecurities remained with him. If he just kept silent, she'd leave...right? The knockings became a bit more desperate before it stopped.
Was he really going to push everyone out of his space? Because he got a bit too paranoid? "...Dyna…" He took out his charm as it soon glowed warmly. "...What the hell should I do?"
The charm didn't answer anything, he felt like he could've taken on the world with Dyna by his side, but now, he wasn't sure. He was told to be too suicidal, that he was still not ready yet. Of course, he was ready. A few days after the attack had set him to be better for the time being.
"...What do they know? They don't have the power like I do, not like they're gonna understand anyways…" He spoke with a hint of frustration. "I'm not that reckless, I know that. I've seen others being reckless themselves, why am I being targeted? It's not fair…" He laid down on his bed.
The charm didn't say anything nor did it glow, Matsuda looked a bit disappointed, but figured it was best that he slept.
The next few days, Matsuda was silent and introverted, not wanting to talk or anything. "He's been a bit distant." Mio muttered out as she walked through the hallway with Mark.
"You know how teenagers are. They're still kinda sensitive. Still kinda...well, not very accepting." Mark cringed a bit.
"Yes, but...don't you think that his behavior is too far out?" Mio asked with a hint of wariness. "It feels like he's detached from reality and us."
"You're right, but...c'mon, what can we do? Matsuda can only handle it by himself."
"What if he can't?"
"..." Mark didn't answer as he turned his attention. "...Then we lost ourselves a member."
"You can't be serious. I know Matsuda can pull through."
"You and I, but that is just our thoughts and not the reality of the situation. All I can say is you try to work it out with him if possible." The woman looked a bit unsure and nervous before shaking her head.
"Yeah, I'll talk to him."
"Cool, good luck."
"You're not joining?"
"Trust me, I think he's more comfortable with you than me." He winked.
A few things must be considered seriously as Issei got onto his feet. He had been knocked out for a week or more, then there was another Ultraman, who appeared and took his place for the time being. Which isn't a bad thing, since he's getting an extra hand. "Ne, Vali, how strong is Dyna?"
"Not far from you, but still weaker…" Vali shrugged as she answered his question, they were in her mansion, in his room to be precise.
"...Why is that actually?" Issei asked, more so it was to himself, but Vali took it as a question directed to her.
"There are theories, he might be a newer being, Tiga had been around for millenia, so obviously he would be far superior if he's been active for a long time." She answered with her own theory regarding the matter. Issei was about to tell her that it was just him thinking aloud, but thinking more about her being embarrassed of herself. He followed through.
"He eventually sealed himself though."
"Despite that, I can feel Tiga's power still surpassing that of Dyna's for the time being. Especially in the fight against the Kyrieroid, that beam attack you fired...it is nothing like I've seen before...it was as if you boosted your stats and took it all out on that one attack." It might've been not too far-fetched that he created something similar to a miniature nuclear explosion. The attack in itself was quite powerful, considering the Kyrieroid was too cocky with his actions, he might've been lucky to have Ddraig. If not he'd be dead by now.
"Really?" That was bad.
"Yeah, it's just like the Red Dragon Emperor's ability to boost…" She looked a bit suspicious. "...How did you do it? I doubt that you have a Twice Critical, since you have the Light."
There are so few options that Issei can choose from. Admit it. Excuse himself. Or… "...It will sound embarrassing...but…" Cliché response. "I...thought of you…"
"...Eh?" Vali looked dumbstruck, a hint of red on her face from embarrassment of hearing it, Issei had the similar look on his face. Well, it was that or his secret coming out.
"I thought of you, then I thought of everyone who was cheering for me and everyone who I was protecting at the time…" He looked a bit embarrassed. "I thought that those thoughts would help me solidify my beliefs. And my will."
"...So the Will to Protect...it sounds like it came from a kids' movie honestly…" She looked a bit weirded out by it. "...Maybe an anime...but...it did give you strength and a resolve. I'll respect that...and...thinking of me, huh?"
"...I-I mean…what I'm trying to say is...ummm...err…I thought about you helping me all the time...and...I thought of...returning the favor…" He looked as if he was going to die on the inside. "Sorry, I...sound a bit…"
"It's...understandable. Serious." She looked a bit happy. "Just...wow, you really thought about me a lot, didn't you?"
"...Apparently." He nodded solemnly.
"Well...you still need to rest."
"But school-"
"...Oh yea, tomorrow then, huh?" She looked a bit derped out.
"If you could teleport me there, I'd appreciate it…"
"No worries, I can do that." Vali winked in response, Issei simply sighed in relief. He still needs to graduate and such, this sucked badly. In addition, being an Ultraman would suck if everyone knows that it is him, a pervert now an Ultraman?
It would've been considered the biggest 'What the Actual Fuck' moments, mainly for the President and the entire school. Not to mention, his partners in crime, Matsuda and Motohama-
Wait…
"I-It's been a week?" He realized that before taking out his phone. It was cracked by the screen, but he didn't care as he still had some power left, mainly 4% of it, he looked at the screen to find multiple messages that Matsuda had left for Mars a few days ago. "Dammit!" He cursed to himself.
"I-Ise?"
"I didn't attend Matsuda's departure. Fucking dammit!" He looked quite upset. "Stupid fucking-"
"Ise, calm down! You still need to rest from your injuries." Issei looked a bit confused and bewildered.
"Calm down? Calm down!?" He was about to give her a piece of his mind before he realized his feelings. "..."
"Ise?" She asked, wondering if he was fine.
"...I...sorry, I was out of line…" It was good enough that he still can retain some of his common sense. "...I was...can...you leave me alone for now? I need to...have some time alone."
"Yeah, sure. Take as much as you need." Vali understood his situation, she excused herself and exited the room. Issei was a bit paranoid of himself lashing out.
"Keep it together. Fucking damn it." He looked a bit pissed off on himself, his self-loathing at its finest moment. "Can I really be an icon if everyone knows how unstable I am?"
By the Moon Base, Matsuda was looking out at the currently being fixed Alpha that he wrecked a few days ago against Thunder Darambia. Currently there are four Darambia classifications at the moment, the Thunder variant, the Tripod variant, the Mars variant and the Moon Tarantula variant(Dubbed the Tarantula Darambia).
"So, this is where you are." He could hear a familiar woman's voice. Turning, he found Mio looking at him with a pair of crossed arms. "I've been wondering where you were."
"Ah, sorry, Mio-senpai." Matsuda bowed his head a bit. "I had a lot of things in my mind."
"I saw your scores on the simulation again. You still died multiple times." He cringed, looking very much uncomfortable by the information. "...You'll improve, I'm sure."
"It's kinda hard when there is no difficulty setting."
"It is a simulation, not a game after all." The woman shrugged as she looked at the being fixed Alpha. "You're still a kid, I get that...but this is the job for an adult. A mature one at that. Matsuda, while you are considered a young adult, that doesn't mean you are mature. Many people are envious of you being in Super GUTS, there are standards to get in. The Captain and the Commissioner are putting their jobs at risk by putting you and Tsubasa in here." She looked a bit pained. "I am not a good speaker, but...you needed to hear those things. They...we are sacrificing a lot on our parts. So please...I ask you to reconsider my words and improve yourself, even as a Junior and a Young Adult."
"..." Matsuda can only stay silent as he gazed upon the Alpha. "...I...understand I guess…" He muttered, looking guilty. "I...I'll try my best."
"...That's all I can ask for."
"So there are more Sphia Activities today than the days before huh?" Todoriki asked as he watched the recording of the radar's sped up recording of abnormalities within space. Multiple Sphias moved from space to space, here and there constantly.
"Yes, and apparently, we might assume that they'll attack Mars again rather than Earth." Shunya spoke with a bit of a worried tone. Going by the display, he was in the Control Center of the Mars Colony. "We have no information of where they will land due to their ever constant movement. But tomorrow would be a better time for them to launch an assault as Mars will be farther away than usual."
"I see, so they're trying to part us even more...that'll be the reason why they formed the attack on the hangars. But…" A look of dread crept up to his face. "That'll mean they're smarter than we thought. They were able to formulate plans…"
"So they took out our Hangar Doors, knowing that we will repair them and somehow send the GUTS Eagle out of the Mars Colony?"
"A possible intruder might have gotten word and informed them."
"But...that doesn't make any sense. Why did they send a kaiju to Earth? Mainly in an area far away from GUTS and TPC Major Infrastructures?"
"We cannot say for sure, all we can say are mere speculations. Unless...Leah, find out about the crash site and where the kaiju was headed to."
"Roger, Cap'n!" Leah got to work as she typed away on her keyboard.
"I will leave this to you, Captain Todoriki. Godspeed on your future endeavors." The screen blinked out as the Recording stayed in place, Todoriki sighed.
"Captain. The kaiju was found on Tokyo, which wouldn't be a good target to destroy the GUTS Far East Infrastructures or TPC infrastructures."
"But why drop it to a densely populated area? That's the real question." The two were alone as the others had been sleeping within their rooms. Coincidentally, Leah yawned. "Leah, take a rest. I'll cover the shift."
"Ahhh, no way, Cap'n. I can…" She yawned again. "Continue doing this all day. Just need a cup of coffee." She said before taking her cup and drinking from it.
"Well, I guess I can count on you then."
From a distant galaxy, a massive blob of Sphias appeared into the Milky Way, moving in speeds that humans comprehend as Neo Maxima Jumping. The massive blob then halted before splitting off into multiple Sphias. Then they began making their way towards the Solar System.
Issei sighed as he and Vali got back to his house, he had been a bit of a mess, being barely able to walk in a straight line without Vali's help. "Thanks for everything, Vali."
"Same to you, you kinda saved me with Golza and Melba. We're even let's just say." She smiled with a nod.
"Yeah, whatever floats your boat then." Issei can only joke. He looked at his house before looking at her. "You...wanna come in?"
"I rather not intrude for the time being." She politely declined with a shake of her head.
"No, it's fine. Serious." He assured her, the girl sighed.
"It's fine, I'll get back to my house, alright? See you tomorrow at school."
"Yeah, err, stay safe." Issei spoke as the girl began walking off before forming a magic circle and entering it. Light blue, huh?
…
Well, it definitely spoke something about her capabilities…
"So she left."
'Ddraig!? What happened? Why didn't you or Tiga speak to me when I was in a coma?'
"Oh, we tried. It's just that your entire brain shut down badly. Think of it as your entire brain shutting down all unnecessary programs in your head asides the essential such as breathing, trying to adapt to your new surroundings and power." Ddraig snorted within his head. "Also bloody Bastard left me in charge of you, it takes a lot out of him to try and speak to you."
'...That's not very assuring.'
"Yes yes, now, dear Host. What are you going to do now? Your power within is yours to use on your own accord."
'...I...don't know? I mean I've said my piece. Fight for the people and all that.'
"But do they deserve it?"
'...I'm going to go in first. I can think about it later.' Issei dodged the question as he opened the gate to his house before entering it. His mother is out, so…

He'll just go sleep again...
Matsuda sighed as he finished his next simulation, he didn't crash…
That was an achievement…
But…
That was after twelve simulations and even then he took a beating with it. "I knew it, the Alpha's the more fragile fighter compared to the others…" Gamma was the best fighter described as the Glass Cannon, it was not a bad design overall.
But its main focus was on its individual weapon, the Gyner, which was a highly concentrated laser blast, which was supposed to be stronger than its secondary armaments of lasers.
The Beta was more capable in maneuvering, but not in speed and is better as a Command Vehicle with the third seat within it.
Alpha was basically the fastest out of the three, but that was its only redeeming feature. It had an average armament and its maneuverability was lesser than the Beta's, it was basically not as good as the other fighters in fighting than it is in intercepting or in chasing down a flying kaiju.
Even then, its armament would not be enough to down it. These were enough reasons to get a replacement for it. "So, you survived. Congratulations." Mio smiled as she opened the door into the simulator.
"Ah, thanks, Mio-sempai." Matsuda awkwardly smiled.
"Keep up the good work. You're going to improve big time."
"Yeah." Hopefully so.
The next morning was...troubling to say. Super GUTS was called into the Command Room, on what was 4AM, Matsuda yawned as his alarm began to sound, before he realized what was going on.
"Another Kaiju attack!?"
As he jumped out of bed, he quickly put on his pants, then his belt and shoes before his top, to which he had to exit his room. The door opened as he got into the corridor. Getting into the Command Room, he quickly got into line. "Another Kaiju Attack, taichou!?"
"...Matsuda, did you not read what the alarm is about?" Feng asked as he looked a bit skeptical.
"I…no?" Matsuda sheepishly answered.
"Did...did anyone read what the alarm is about?"
"Err, no. Actually. No."
"Is it...a must?"
"All the time invested into the alarm system. Wasted." Feng was about to break down as he crouched down from his imminent mental breakdown.
"Well, let's not delay it any further." Todoriki coughed into his hands. "There were multiple sightings of Sphias, a batch to Mars and a batch to Earth. We are given orders to deploy and defend the Mars base. Understood?"
"Aye, sir!"
"Good! Now Super GUTS, deploy!"

"Matsuda, remember, don't get too cocky." Todoriki spoke through the comms. Matsuda checked all the pieces and meters.
"Aye, sir! It won't happen like in the simulations!" He spoke aloud, a bit better compared to his distant self. "Now, the real battle starts here." He muttered to himself.
The GUTS Eagle had its platform slowly moved before the hangar doors opened up. "Alright, Take OFF!"
the engines lit up before the GUTS Eagle shot out of the hangar. Leaving the GUTS EX-J at base as a reserve.

Multiple Sphias began to emerge from the Asteroid Belt of the Solar System as they soon split off, a third of them going off to Mars, while the others to Earth. A multi Kaiju attack aimed to destroy Humanity's Core Function for the Neo Frontier.
Exiting Neo Maxima, the GUTS Eagle was greeted by multiple debris of the Mars Orbital Station. "We've arrived too late…they've arrived first." Todoriki muttered with a loathful tone. "Dammit."
"There's no one on the escape pods either." Feng looked on the screen, finding debris of destroyed escaped pods, even when they were torn apart, some survivors often wore spacesuits and hid within the scraps of metal to ensure their chances of being alive and rescued.
"Then something also abducted them?"
Then a transmission came through from Leah. "Captain! The Sphias had appeared on Earth, landing in Germany and Japan!"
"What!?"
The two previous batches of Sphias had infiltrated Earth's territorial space, with them, they entered the atmosphere of the planet before flying in Mach 4 to reach their target area. First was to cause panic and distress the government and armed forces, bringing them to a pointless chase before going for their target.
The two batches had arrived upon Eastern Japan as well as the bordering land of the Rhineland in Europe causing panic for both Germany and France as well as Belgium.
Both GUTS Teams had been sent to deal with the matter. The GUTS Far East assisted by the Japanese Air Self Defense Force, the GUTS Europa with the German Luftwaffe and the French Armée de l'Air Française.
"Damn it, so they were diverting our attention? We'll turn back and-"

"Captain! We are receiving multiple Jocks around the area!" Feng shouted in fright as a formation of Sphias made their appearance.
"We can't even provide support for Earth then...Super GUTS split!" The three mechas detached from each other before dodging the barrage of lasers coming at them. "No more harm shall come to the Mars Base!"
"Aye, sir!" Matsuda was eager to show off as he quickly had learnt and tried new skill sets based on his simulations. "Alright, you bitchasses! Let's dance!" The pilot quickly got to max speed and gained enough distance before abruptly halting and turning his craft, and fired out his lasers. Taking out a pair of Sphias before he looked back. "How about that!?"
"Matsuda, this is no time to celebrate yet. More Sphias are coming to the surface of Mars. Your job is to intercept them, understood!?"
"Aye, sir!" Matsuda quickly got his yoke pushed downwards as he soon began to move into the atmosphere of the planet, the plane itself began to feel the friction of the atmosphere as it heated up. As it slowed down, Matsuda could clearly see multiple Sphias firing down at the Mars Base, a few AA laser cannons were up, but not all. "Alright then, let me show you what I got in store!"
Matsuda made his move by firing at a pair of Sphias, destroying them before getting tailed by a pair. "So you all work in pairs, huh? Too bad you can't do solo." Matsuda pulled his yoke before he looked on the monitor to find that the pair was still following him. "And watch this!" He flicked the VTOL switch and shot out a breeze through the base engine that threw him off backwards before he fired the lasers at the right moment at the Sphia. "WOOOO! YOU SEE THAT!? THAT'S MY FINEST PLAY!"
That was before he turned the plane and flew it out and got shot by a few pairs of Sphias. "WAAA-Shit!" The plane's instruments went haywire as he began to lose altitude and his engine started to die out on him, losing all thrust he had. "No no no no, damn it! You gotta be joking! AHHHH!" His plane fell and crashed into the surface, skidding through the red soil of Mars before grinding to a halt, but not before crashing into a mound of soil. The inertia hit Matsuda unforgivingly and knocked the wind out of his lungs.

The entire ordeal knocked him out instantly upon impact. "Matsuda!? Oi, Matsuda! Can you hear me!?" Todoriki's voice came through the comms. "Damn it!"
"Urgh…" Matsuda could only grunt as he began to wake up. "Fuck me…damn it, the entire thing's out, huh?" He pointed out the obvious, his pain on the chest was incredibly gripping around him, he felt like he couldn't breathe in and out properly. Despite that he unlatched his safety belts before getting up wobbling.
"Errkkk…" He soon got an XX Bazooka and headed out into the open. Stumbling as he did so, shaking his head to get the fuzziness out of his system, he pointed his Bazooka at a Sphia pair before opening fire at it. The shot landed itself perfectly as Matsuda did the same with the others, missing some of his shots before his Bazooka ran out of ammo.
"Gahhh…" He put away his gun before he reached into his pocket. "...Please…" He took out his Charm, the Reflasher. "I beg you, I need your power. I won't doubt myself anymore."

The Reflasher began to glow. Mentally asking him about his doubts and worries. "I won't hesitate anymore. I don't need a reason not to fight. You and I...we're one, aren't we? So...I'll fight. Whatever it takes, I'll do it regardless."
Then the Reflasher's middle piece opened up and revealed its hidden gem before lighting up in a bright flash. A pillar of light shone upon Mars once more as Dyna soon emerged with a myriad of colors with his grand stance.
"Another Miracle?" A Mars Base staff asked in disbelief as Dyna showed himself once more into the surface of Mars. The light died out as they saw Dyna take on a fighting stance as he looked towards the sky for the Sphias.
The Sphias formed a massive blob as Dyna made his appearance, the Titan didn't waste a moment as he soon fired off his finisher, the Solgent Ray immediately.
The blob of Sphias soon enough formed a barrier that blocked the beam and broke its path, turning it into multiple smaller rays, harmlessly flying about. Dyna stopped his attack, looking a bit flabbergasted and surprised that his attack didn't work.
The blob soon began to slowly descend and take pieces of the destroyed structures, integrating alloy parts and concrete alongside rubble and martian stones. It began to remodel itself into a being that was similar to Mars Darambia, which was first destroyed by Dyna. Its eyes were modeled to be similar to Thunder Darambia, two pairs of them, its body was similar to the Mars variant with its arm forming a pair of metal claws, pieces of metal embedded themselves by its frontal chest and a pair of tesla coils on its back.
Thunder Darambia II stood at the ready as it screeched at the Titan, who had wasted a lump of his power on the opening finisher. The onlookers can only watch as Dyna slowly began to move sideways, shifting his feet through the surface of Mars, the kaiju did a similar maneuver, it was until then that the onlookers realized that he was putting them behind him. An attempt to basically cover them with his own body.
But the moment he stamped his feet on the ground, he turned a bit to make sure that the people were behind him, that was a mistake on his part. Immediately, the kaiju fired off multiple bolts of lightning, from its tesla coils, its horn and its claws, those bolts bolted through the air and smashed Dyna by his torso.
"GWAH!" The Titan fell on his back, after sparks flew into the air on where the bolts hit him, it was too quick that Dyna didn't manage to hold his barrier in time. Getting up, he quickly realized that he couldn't win the battle with such a distance.

He quickly rolled forwards, closing the distance as he soon held his hand and shut the kaiju's mouth, the other being used to hold the kaiju by its torso. Dyna soon began to push the kaiju backwards, before he threw it upwards, making it fall on its back as he hopped backwards to gain some distance.
As the being got up, Dyna began to charge, throwing an uppercut on the kaiju before giving it a sidekick. As Dyna assumed his fighting stance, he quickly evaded a few tries of the kaiju trying to claw him, an attempt quickly turned against it as Dyna judo threw the kaiju into the ground. But as the kaiju laid down, Dyna began to once more charge again, only for the kaiju to get up and fire off a barrage of lightning bolts.
Dyna quickly set up a barrier, while on the run before he jumped and did a frontflip, landing behind the kaiju and then grabbing it by its multiple tails, he began to pull it to the side. The kaiju felt itself being lifted up off the ground before it was being swung around. A few spins then Dyna threw it away from the Base even further.

As the kaiju tumbled, Dyna relaxed himself as he began to approach it. Only to be fired upon by multiple Sphias flying in the sky. As he tried to use his Flash Cycler, he was then fired on by his back. Darambia had taken the opportunity to lay siege upon the Titan with a doctrine of what is dubbed 'superior firepower' by the humans.
Upon where one target is focused upon by multiple attackers. Dyna tried to set a shield, but that didn't stop the other Sphias from attacking his backside. Sparks flew everywhere as Dyna was being shot at from all sides. As this barrage continued on, his Color Timer began to blink.
In the skies above Kuoh, multiple Sphias began to make landfall upon the small town. "Eh, what's that?" A student asked as multiple other students began to look at the window. Issei and Motohama were mostly keeping to themselves before the amount of interest on the sight, peaked their interest.
"What are they seeing?" Motohama asked, a look of uncertainty on his face. Issei tried to get a glimpse, only to see through them, as if he got a new eye sight from his abilities. Sphias. Sphias flying through the sky of Kuoh, before they began laying havoc.
"Things...oh no, get down!" A Sphia passed as it flew, and fired upon the front of the school, making a crater in front of it and a geyser of dust and grime.
"KYAHHHHHHH!" The screaming of the girls quickly erupted from every class there was in the school. The teacher began to yell at them to get to safety and get outside. Being in the inside of the school is no more safer with the chances of the school being hit and crumbling upon the first floor.
Teachers began to escort the students out, counting heads before they began moving downstairs. Issei looked around before finding Vali in the mass of panic. "This is not good."
"You're telling me." Vali gritted her teeth, looking at the amount of panic started by the sudden invaders. "What are you going to do?"
"...Let's not talk here." Issei muttered as he grabbed her by the wrist and ran down the stairs, before going to a bathroom stall. As the two of them got into the room, Issei took out his Spark Lens. He looked down the stalls before making sure it was fine. "...I'll fight…take care of the guys and girls for me."
Going to his usual stance, he raised his Spark Lens towards the ceiling. Pressuring his device, the appendages opened up before flashing brightly. The second time Vali witnessed the light and how it didn't affect her. She could hear the gasps of students outside.
As a wave of Sphias was about to land their attack on Kuoh Academy, a massive pillar stood in its way and as the lasers were fired, they dispersed immediately as Tiga stood upon the streets of Kuoh Town. Making no fuss, he quickly blocked another wave of lasers before firing his hand slash.
The Sphias quickly dispersed and flew off, Tiga just looked behind to see a fearful and awe looking crowd that had been frozen from his appearance. He didn't bother them as he can only mentally nod to himself and fly off into the sky, going after the invaders from space. As he tailed the Sphias, his head crystal blinked purple before he began to convert his form to Sky Type, slowly going faster and breaking the sound barrier with a sonic boom above the town.
Putting his hand by his right side, he manifested a purple flash that blinked brightly before releasing a fury of light bullets that flew off like a homing missile, flying beyond his own speed and gaining on the Sphias. That was before the Sphias broke off from formation and began to do evasive maneuvers.
They would soon close their proximity to the buildings below. Tiga quickly halted before raising his right arm upwards, causing all light bullets to suddenly move upwards and then he clenched his fist, that action caused all light bullets to self-destruct. The Sphias quickly began moving again in an erratic fashion, splitting up as Tiga can't decide on which to follow before making his mind up and following the bunch with the most numbers.
Fighter Jets and GUTS Mechas followed his lead before joining in his endeavor to destroy the running Sphias. Most of the Fighter Jets, however, were left behind as GUTS Mechas were barely able to tail upon the UFOs. Mach 4 seemed to be the cruise speed of the Sphias as the Conventional Jets were slowly being left behind, with the GUTS Jets barely capable of following.
A few GUTS Wing 1s were barely able to close the distance as they soon shot their lasers, only for the Sphias to dodge them and continue on.
"These things are fast." Kaido muttered as he and his Wing tried to catch up, going up to speed till he hit Mach 4 with his GUTS Wing, wasting more fuel to catch up with the Sphias. "Woah!" The Sphia suddenly dived, Kaido had to slow down his Jet and feel his body jump forward a bit before he dove down, the Sphia proved itself to be a highly versatile and mobile enemy, capable of taking G-Force no human can take on.
Although its speed is limited, it was by far superior in maneuvering itself with high G-Force maneuvers. "This should be enough reason why we should update our missiles." Farhan complained, trying to keep up with the Sphia.
Out of the batch of Sphias, Tiga continued following the largest batch containing eight of them.
The eight Sphias divided themselves into four groups before melding into four bigger blobs, Tiga quickly fired his Tiga Slicer that sliced a pair of blobs and destroyed them, but the two others absorbed what was left of them and then slowly descended towards a Wi-Fi Tower.
Dropping down to the scenery of a luscious forested area, Tiga fired off a hand slash, only to be denied his kill, as a barrier formed upon the Sphia blobs. Reverting back to his Multi Type, he watched before deciding to test it. He fired another hand slash, only for the barrier to block it once more.
After absorbing it into their being, the Sphias fed on the data, they managed to rob, they began to mold themselves. A pair of kaijus formed, turning into what were known to be Ultra Kaijus. Onlookers began to point and watch as two slime-like blobs began to take shape.

The both of them looked very similar to a pair of well known kaijus. The first was a being with a beak and a horn on top of its head, white eyes, a pair of hands with no fingers or digits, asides a thumb, its legs were stubby, its tail was given a blade-like form, its back was designed as if they were crystals, glowing in certain areas and then blinking. The kaiju known as Vakishim-Darambia came into being. Instead of a dark blue shade, it was colored dark grey with black veins. Its golden skin was replaced by light grey and it had its sectioned body to be molded and look more welded together.
The second kaiju was a kaiju with coral-like spikes upon its being, eyes colored the same as Vakishim's, its dinosaur-like snout opened up and revealed a set of fangs, and within it, instead of a tongue, there was a missile launcher. Its arms were given hands which in turn are given digits which were hollow, in fact every spike it had was hollow, Verokron-Darambia as like Vakishim became a being of its own. Maroon red colored black with its blue body now colored light grey with veins surrounding it.
It wasn't Tiga's first rodeo against a pair of Kaijus, but these kinds…were more ruthless. The kaijus screeched.
"KEUUNNNNNNGG!"
"GRONNNGGGUUUU!"
The high pitched screech and the lower pitched growl of Vakishim and Verokron respectively resounded, staying true to the original before they began their assault.
Verokron formed a ring before firing it off, Tiga with Issei's memory serving right, assumed it was a trap attack like Ultraman's Catch Rings, firing a hand slash, he destroyed it immediately.
Only for Vakishim and Verokron to fire at him, Verokron's remodeled fingers fired organic missiles opposed to Vakishim's organic bullets. Tiga was quickly overwhelmed by this as Vakishim soon fired off its mouth missile and blasted Tiga off his feet and yards from where he was standing. Falling to his back, the environment around was not good as both kaijus were known for their explosives and a forest fire was the last thing Tiga needed.

"Any ideas, Ddraig?"
"Nada, these two Kaijus. Vakishim and Verokron. They're powerful, aren't they?"
"Yeah, fuck, Verokron, while it is a first kaiju for Ace to fight isn't anything to scoff at. Vakishim is also a very aggressive foe, guns and explosives being its thing and capable of fire."
"Troubling. While I can manipulate fire, I don't think you are trained enough to do so. Ditch the girl, partner. You have to get stronger in order to fight these battles, you keeping your secret of being the Red Dragon Emperor will get you killed."
"...Let's focus on what is at hand." Issei changed the subject, he quickly held both hands on his shoulder before firing a Tiga Slicer, which was blocked by the Kaiju's barrier before they fired back. Tiga rolled to the side before firing an uncharged Zepellion Ray. The beam got obstructed once more before the Chōjūs fired away. Tiga began to perform a surprising performance of agility as he began to perform backflips and cartwheels to dodge the attacks. Rolling to a halt, he quickly fired a '+' beam attack, a Specium Ray, people remembered in the old days, shot outwards.
The ray did nothing to the barrier, it was honestly surreal that Ultraman was failing here. Clenching his fists, onlookers watch as Verokron fires off a barrage of missiles from its corals. Vakishim doing the same from its mouth.

"HRAAHHH! MEK!" Tiga began to run, turning back to his Sky Type, he accelerated beyond his normal speed. Missiles locked on and targeted him, he quickly dodged by flying to the sky as some didn't even acknowledge the movement and smashed to where he once stood. Tiga gained some distance before firing off a fury of Light Bullets, letting them fly and make contact with the missiles.
Assuming a kicking stance, he took aim and launched himself towards Verokron, his ideal first opponent of the two kaijus. The kick quickly reached Mach 4 by a few seconds, Tiga landed his kick, destroying a part of the kaiju's coral and landed behind the kaijus. Extending his arms outwards like he did with his Ranbalt Light Bullets, Tiga held his hande close when he placed it above him and formed an L shaped formation, firing a violet Zepellion Ray in Sky Type, considerably weaker, but far better than Ranbalt Light Bullets.
Verokron blocked the attack before Tiga pushed it to where his color timer began to blink. Vakishim fired its bullets off, causing sparks to come out of Tiga, as he continued his beam attack regardless of him flinching. As the barrier broke, the beam destroyed another patch of corals before Tiga stopped his attack and fell to his knee.

GUTS Europe was having a hard time as this was their first actual sortie against an invader. The GUTS Wing Crimson Dragon variant was a more heavily armed GUTS Mecha, but that didn't mean much when they can't keep up against the Sphias.
"Vice Captain, what's our game plan?" A pilot asked as he tried to keep up by pushing his GUTS Crimson Dragon to its limit of Mach 4.5.
"Keep on the pursuit. We can't let them do what they want." The Vice Captain, a German woman answered. Five GUTS Crimson Dragons continued their pursuit as they tried their AAMs, unfortunately, due to the time's limitation, they ran out of fuel before they could reach their targets. The Mach 4.5 Top Speed and being medium range Air-to-Air did little to no good as they self detonated when they ran out of fuel. "Rudolf, care to inform us about where they are making landfall for?"
"Sorry, Vice Captain, but their unpredictable flight patterns only say that they are just there." The communicator spoke, the Sphias had been running on and about, making no clear flight paths.
"They're smarter than I thought." The Vice Captain spoke with a somber tone. That was until they began to regroup and slammed into one massive blob that began to move towards a location.
"Hold on, if the Sphias follow its trajectories and flight path…" The communicator's eyes widened. "It's headed for the Cosmo Net Headquarters in Mainz!"
"Those bastards! They're here to delay our progress!"
"Herr Victoria, they are going to make landfall in a minute and a half."
"Darn it. What's their current speed?:
"Mach 5...no...6, they're going faster!"
"We're not going to catch up to it any time soon…dammit!"
"Herr Victoria! Sensors are detecting another being coming from behind!"
"What!? An ambush!?"

A fast moving azure light flashed through as Victoria found said light to pursue the Sphias with great speed. "What is that?" As it appeared, the light dimmed to reveal a titan of light colored in a blue and black color scheme. "A titan of light?"
As she wondered about the matter, the being soon bolted through the air and speared ahead. The being soon retracted his hand and fired off a hand slash at the invader, causing it to make a landfall towards an active volcano within the Rhineland.
As it landed, the Sphia blob reached to a hot deposit of hardened, but also hot magma. The Titan of Light landed with a massive quake of the Earth. Firing off yet another hand slash, the Sphia blocked it with its barrier. Looking rather displeased and upset than surprised, the being focused energy upon his right hand, a spark glowed before he placed his hand upon his forehead.
"UWARGH!"
Where a long slick energy whip sprouted from his head before he tilted forward and caused the energy whip to lurch forward. Firing off towards the Sphia, which blocked it before it began to form its entity. The titan didn't relent as it pressed its attack. A portion of the Sphia separated and made two groups, an attack and defense group. The attack group morphed itself into a yellow color with a black vein-like pattern, divided into two parts, the main and the support part. Its sphere on the center glowed red.

It seemingly evolved out of nowhere, but as it did, it did so without anyone expecting to do that. The Sphia fired off its bolt of light, hitting the Ultra, causing him to flinch, but not give up his assault. The defense group continued to hold, giving up parts of their being to allow more time to delay the inevitable breaking of the barrier.
The being pulled his head back before empowering the beam, breaking through and destroying the defense group and barrier. As the Ultra turned his attention to the Attack group, or evolved Sphia. He was interrupted by the low groan of a kaiju.
"GROAAAARGHHHH…" Its form was much more stubbier than the jagged Mars Darambia, it had pincher claws instead of hands or claws, its head was much more bloated, its belly was runned down with red veins. Its feet were much stubbier than its other variants.
The titan assumed a stance, unlike Tiga or Dyna, he looked as if he was much more prideful and a show off with his more relaxed fighting stance. He soon enough drew his right hand and placed his right fist against his left palm in front of him before pulling out a blade of light.
Onlookers watched in awe as he swung his blade and gave a mock gesture with his left hand. The kaiju, seemingly offended by said gesture, began its assault.

The titan boringly ducked under an arm swing, and kicked the being before slicing its arm clean off. The blade of light disappeared as the arm fell off to the ground. The GUTS Crimson Dragons watched as the titan lazily turned towards the kaiju, which looked at its cleanly cut arm.
"Che, a show off, huh?"
"Save your words. We have a Sphia to fry." Victoria spoke as she looked at the evolved Sphia. "Destroy the Sphia at all cost! We'll trust the titan with the monster."
[Roger!] The titan simply walked away and gained a distance before marking a line strip, the Darambia simply took its arm by its claw and reconnected it. Checking if it was working, the kaiju growled before firing a flame breath at the titan, who simply stood there.
With a wave of a hand, the fire was blocked by a simple barrier of what seemed to be a spinning water-like barrier. Dispersing it, the titan raised his hand before forming a spark and fired it to the kaiju. The light slash cut off a portion of its flesh before it regenerated itself with a flash of magma seeping out of its innards.
A new profound capability of the kaiju, yet the blue giant simply gave another wave of his hand to gesture it to come to him. The kaiju growled before it began to run, the land shook and as it did, it tried to swing its arm, only for the giant to swat it away before the kaiju used its other claw to grab his neck. The kaiju soon began to heat up, channeling more heat from its body. The giant grabbed the claw before he released his grip and formed his saber. With his new weapon at hand, he cut the claw off.
The titan quickly backed away, rolling backwards and crouched down and assumed his fighting stance.
Dyna panted as he faced off against the kaiju, as more Sphias began to attack. Dyna had his entire body smoke from the amount of lasers he had taken. His color timer blinked, his will is strong, but not his body.
"...IYAT…" Dyna kneeled from the pain. The kaiju screeched once again as it began movement. Before long, the Sphias formed up alongside the kaiju. The moment they could get rid of Dyna, the better for them to destroy the entirety of the Human's Neo Frontier Capability on Mars.
As they approached the Titan, Dyna was in way too much pain to move or do anything. That was until blue, yellow and green lasers fired through against the Sphias. Dyna could only have his hearing capability rising as he could hear his uncle's voice.
"ULTRAMAN!" Dyna perked up as he saw a GUTS Wing 1 fly by with the Eagles, Beta and Gamma. His old man was flying the GUTS Wing 1, as it glided through the air. "Don't give in to the Sphias...not when we're still around. Aren't you an Ultraman? Don't they never give up?! Answer me!"
Dyna heard those words cross his mind as he soon got up. Rising from his state, his arms began to glow a vibrant electric blue. "Never give up, huh?" Matsuda spoke within the Titan. "To protect...the power to protect…" He looked at the kaiju. "...I'll definitely...won't lose to a scumbag like you...DEFINITELY!"
His arms glowed even more vibrantly, that was before he crossed his arms, but instead of a '+', he held it at an upside down cross form. The light soon died out as Dyna stood there.
Every onlooker looked confused before the back of Dyna began to steam. At that moment, a massive Beam of Solgent took its flight and smashed through what seemed to be the speed of light. "DYAH!" The beam struck the barrier of the kaiju, but that didn't stop the beam from continuing its path of destruction.
Dyna's feet ran back a few feet from his posture. Then the barrier broke, the kaiju was then blasted by the massive Solgent Ray before the orange disc appeared before disappearing within. Ending the beam, the kaiju stood solid before it exploded into smithereens.
"What power…" Shunya muttered as the Titan soon turned his attention towards the Sphias. Holding his hands by his Color Timer, which began to blink faster than ever, one could say that it was similar to how Ultraman's Color Timer went off when he had finished fighting a hard battle. He quickly held his right arm back, forming a slicer disc that he soon threw towards a column of Sphias and sliced them, causing the Sphias to explode. The color timer began to blink even more rapidly before the Titan disappeared in another pillar of light.
"Not...yet…" Issei can feel his body suffer from the organic bullets before forcing Tiga's body to stand. "Draig. Boost me."
"Partner, boosting you would result in another coma! I can't let that happen!"
"Well…" Issei weighed his options. And… "Guess I'll continue to fight without it."
"CHENG!" Turning to his Power Type, Tiga shielded himself from Vakishim's bullet barrage where it soon stopped and fired its horn missile, Tiga with enough reflex to make up for Power Type's lack of speed, caught it before transferring energy to it and threw it back to Vakishim, who raised its barrier, but the power of both missile and transferred energy apparently was too much as upon contact. The shield immediately shattered into pieces.
Tiga with his newly profound strength, pounded his hands together before he assumed his fighting stance, both hands clenched together. He began to run at Vakishim, before jumping and performed a frontflip and landed upon the kaiju's body and caused them both to fall, Tiga on top of the kaiju. "Take a taste of this!"
The titan pounded his hands to the kaiju's head, light engulfed his hands each time he made a hit. Verokron acted on impulse, slower than expected, but it tried to rush at Tiga, who simply jumped away from the caterpillar themed kaiju and set himself up for the Delacium Light Stream. On a standing position, Tiga quickly laid both his arms diagonally downwards before slowly bringing them upwards and made a ball of fire in front of his chest.
Bringing his right hand backwards, he threw the ball of fire, turning it into a wave of orange light that bolted towards the coral reef kaiju before hitting said kaiju. The fiery electric danced around the kaiju's body. Tiga quickly crossed his hands in front of his head crystal and reverted back to his Multi Type.
Vakishim screeched before Tiga quickly formed his hand to form a '+' formation and fired off a Specium Ray, causing the kaiju to stagger before he quickly began his preparations for the Zeppelion Ray. Forming the 'L' formation, he quickly fired at the Synthetic Super Beast, causing the kaiju to screech and explode into pieces. As that happens, Tiga fell to one knee, knocking two kaijus out...Super Beasts at that was no easy task.
But at the end of the day, at least he won. Or so he thought as another laser beam fired out from the sky, Sphias appeared once more, Tiga had barely any stamina left. "Damn it." With no more energy, Tiga had to revert back to his human form, forcibly.
The Blue Giant rolled of the hill region of Germany as Magma Darambia or Guralein soon growled at him. The Stage 3 Sphia fired off its laser beams as the GUTS Crimson Dragons dispersed and tried firing at it, but due to its far more versatile and more powerful nature compared to a normal Sphia. This thing proved to be a more competent opponent.
The Titan made his move as he ran towards the kaiju before throwing himself, jumping and spinning as his leg smashed Guralein by its torso and caused it to fall, the Titan followed his momentum and got to a crouching position before he held both his arms in a cross manner in front of his Crystal, and extended his arms diagonally outwards and by his waist's level. At that moment, a charge of electricity rippled between his hands before he began to rotate it clockwise until his right hand was on top and his left hand on the bottom.
A surge of light entered the charge as he began to compact it into a ball before shoving it towards the kaiju. The ball flew true and hit it by its torso. Exploding upon impact, Guralein was visibly staggered by such an attack, the Titan saw this as an opening as he got his right arm to fold against his chest before straightening it diagonally downwards to his side.
He performed the same movements as he began his finisher to destroy the kaiju once and for all. The staggered beast recovered, only to find his foe finally reaching the climax of the battle. Bending his body, the whip blasted through the air and smashed the kaiju by its torso once more. As the beam ended, the kaiju continued to stand. It groaned, but the Titan relaxed his stance before flying off.
Guralein froze before it exploded into smithereens, on his way out, the Titan formed a ball of energy before firing it at the Evolved Sphia. "What the-!? That was my kill, bastard!"
Victoria can only look at the leaving form of the Titan. "Ein blauer riese…" She muttered as she looked at the giant disappearing into the sky.
"Agh…" Issei muttered as he got to the woods. Taking shelter from the dogfight between the GUTS Wings and the Sphias. His body had been heavily pummeled as well by those Chōjūs.
The injuries he had taken were slowly healing, so that was good. But he was awfully tired from all the fighting. Using the Ranbalt-Zepellion Ray was a better idea than to use the standard Zepellion Ray, not to mention how costly having more Ranbalts would be.
Laying down against a tree, he panted heavily for air. "I sure...could use some...ramen...right now…" He laughed weakly. That was before a familiar light blue circle appeared. "Vali?"
"Issei?" Vali got out of the portal before finding him, she immediately looked at his wounds, the moment she saw him. "Oh Lucifer, this is bad."
"Tell me about it."
"You're a man, take it a bit lighter."
"Wha-what do you mean?"
"Hold that thought. Let's get you back to the school." Picking the guy up, Vali huffed as the two began to walk through the portal.
"What did you use as an excuse though?"
"Falling rubble hit you by the head."
"...But wait, I haven't suffered-" The moment they got back to the bathroom, first thing Vali did was bang his head onto the wall. "Ah FUCK!"
"Sorry, I had to prove my point."
"Can't you fake the injury, Val!?"
"What if they check on it?" Issei didn't think about that, but.
"They still would just think that it was just a scratch. Now I have another injury to look into. Ahh, that hurts…"
"Gomen gomen, now let's just tie it up with some bandages." She took out the bandages from the bathroom's medical supply and bandaged his head up.
"You sure this won't make me suspicious?"
"Nah, definitely not."
"Pray to-...nevermind actually…" Issei muttered in disappointment. A bit sulky. Vali can only smile apologetically at his bad luck.
As the Super GUTS crew landed, the members began to look out for Matsuda after he wasn't found in the Alpha. "Matsuda!" Mio yelled out as other members looked out for him.
"Where did the brat go again…" Mark muttered out.
Tsubasa followed behind before looking at the massive marks left by the Titan of light. She looked at the battlefield, her eyes soon got a glimpse of what was a human hand by a crater. "Terashi?" She muttered out before she began to approach the figure. That was until the figure was more apparent.
A bloodied gloved hand stuck out of the crater like a sore thumb. Her eyes widened before she began to run towards the thing. "Oi, Tsubasa! Where are you going!?" Tsubasa halted before finding Matsuda lying on his back, arm reaching out of the crater he was in.
His entire being unconscious, besides him was a Bazooka XX, crushed into pieces. "Oi, Terashi! Wake up!" She checked his neck for a pulse before she checked his wrist.
"Oh God." Mio covered her mouth as the members reached the crater.
"Help me!" Mark quickly offered his hand before helping Tsubasa carry Matsuda by the arms. "How reckless are you?" She whispered her question as she looked at his being.
"So another Titan into the fray, huh?" A woman's voice muttered out as she looked at the picture of Ultraman Dyna as he was on Earth. Pinning it on the softboard, she could tie a string to the picture of the Super GUTS logo. "So he'll be within the Mars Base...or the Super GUTS, considering his appearance." She spoke, trying to figure out the pieces.
"I think I found you, Impostor of the Third." The tone of her voice laced with a bit of satisfaction and accomplishment as the softboard consisted of multiple pin ups of the Super GUTS members, the photo of Terashi Matsuda, pinned as Ultraman Dyna. For the time being, I'm working on Gaia's subarc before moving onto the Devil's Arc for Tiga. And in a month, I'm going to have University, so that'll be painful for me to try and keep up the story.
