Arc 1 - Prophecy of Three
Chapter 7 - The Fourth Guardian?
"Another Ultraman?" Victoria muttered out as another Ultraman had made his debut on Earth yet again. The being was not the same as the others as it would stand. The being itself looked a bit confused to what was happening, as he faced off against the kaiju. Before he looked at his hands and nodded, bringing both arms to his front, his left arm placed on his left side, his fist pointing diagonally to his right side and the other arm placed on an opposite manner, he quickly unfolded them to a fighting stance, left hand clenched and right hand placed on a chopping position.

The two beings began to run with the ground shaking and dirt flying. Gaia quickly threw a fist out before giving COV a kick to his chest. Gaia performed an uppercut upon its lower jaw, before getting two sickle slashes to his torso.
GUH!
The kaiju slammed the Titan down, throwing him off to the ground before kicking him while he was down. Gaia rolled as soon as he got kicked, gaining distance before jumping up to his feet. Getting to another stance, he gained enough distance. He quickly fired a few light arrows at the being, but it quickly blocked them with its sickles before placing both ends on each other.
Its horn glowed before it fired a golden blast of energy, Gaia quickly reacted by opening up a barrier, which caused the attack to be deflected around his area, blowing up the area he stood before. Realizing what the barrier was doing to the surroundings, he quickly got rid of it, but failed to realize that another barrage ensued and made contact with him.

The Ultraman was sent flying backwards and crashed into a nearby building, as that happened, COV screeched before getting a mouthful of autocannons and laser shots from the GUTS Europa aircrafts. Anti-Kaiju rounds quickly chipped parts of its armor, COV then began to fire wildly, intending for a spray and pray moment.
Each shot quickly shot to the sky or to the ground, the latter happens to be more often as a skyscraper building was hit by the blast. Gaia got up and realized what was happening, he immediately ran, his legs soon began to look like a blur as he moved at speeds that no humans would say was possible for a being his size.
As a lot of the evacuating citizens were still evacuating, many of them were going to get caught under the rubble before Gaia quickly shielded them with his own body as a massive piece of the skyscraper was held by him. The being got to his knee, trying to keep the rubble on top of him, and not let go of it. Looking at the awe struck people, he began to muster up the strength before standing with the weight of the rubble and threw it away to a desolate area.

His color timer then began to flash, his body was slowly giving in as his stamina wasn't going to last any longer. The kaiju screeched before Gaia clenched his fists, jumping towards his foe, Gaia quickly held his hands in a fighting stance before he moved in, the kaiju swung his sickle, only for Gaia to parry it and bend his knee and strike it by its abdomen, then struck its chest twice with his fists before doing a roundhouse kick.
The kaiju got pushed away from the pain, staggering backwards before Gaia grabbed both of its appendages, spinning his body, he lifted the kaiju up into the air and began to swing the kaiju around before throwing it to the ground. Backing away immediately, he remembered how he had once destroyed the kaiju back in the caverns. Placing both arms to his sides, his head's golden markings began to glow red, before he placed both forearms against his head and bent down, a stream of red light whipped out of his head before Gaia pulled back and unleashed said light by pushing his head forwards, the red energy quickly lurched towards its prey and crashed onto the being, causing multiple light streaks to form before dying out with the stream of light.
The kaiju quickly burst into pieces as Gaia got back to his standing pose.

Turning his head to the sky, he watched the fighters fly above him, Gaia then simply glowed with light before shrinking in his pillar of light.
"That was so cool, ain't it, Vinny?" Vincent was a bit reluctant to agree, but sighed, while nodding.
"Yeah, I'm still bummed out on how they're using the Fighters wrong…" The man grumbled out, a bit annoyed.
"...Wait, where's Aki-kun?"
"Nee-san!" She could hear before finding Motohama running towards the two, panting as he reached fhem.
"And where were you amidst the chaos, Aki-kun?"
"I...didn't I tell you that I was going to the bathroom?"
"...Of all this time? A bathroom break? Really?"
"W-Well, I was keeping it in for too long."
"Fine fine, you should see how good the pictures I took of the Ultraman, Aki-kun!" Aria showed him her album of pictures of both Titans which were at each others' necks.
"A-Ah, that's cool, Ari-nee." Motohama nodded hesitantly. The girl laughed as she swiped pictures on her phone, Motohama silently took out his hand before its palm glowed red. "So...what now then?" He asked himself.
Tiga.
Dyna.
Titan Blue.
Titan Red.
"These are the names that are known to humanity." Shunya muttered, the Commissioner presented his case to the Council of TPC and the UN. "The Prophecy of Three...originally had three Guardians, not four."
"Not four, but wouldn't it be beneficial having four ultramen instead of three?"
"Some might argue it is, but who are we to know that the Originals have their suspicion over the fourth. We have no conclusions other than Tiga being the First Guardian. Dyna had been confirmed as an anomaly as he appeared on Mars and not Earth, however this also holds true for the being called Titan Blue."
"Who chipped the name in for Dyna if I may ask?" A member raised his hand.
"It was from the Operator of Super GUTS and I can say that I back her on naming the Ultraman, Dyna. Any other questions?"
"What will the other Titans be named?"
"We are unsure, however they will be named properly. For the time being, Aka and Blau are used as their codenames."
"Red in Japanese and Blue in Germanic. Are there no other names that can be used?"
"They are codenames, not their official names." Shunya spoke to the woman, who complained about the lazy name conventions. "They will be called what they go by."
That was when a virus had settled into the computer screen as the projection began to go haywire. "What the-"
Names of the Ultramen began to be erased, namely Aka and Blau before the codes began to type the names in. 'Gaia' and 'Agul' came to being, after that was done, the virus suddenly imploded, leaving no traces of where it came from, it simply disappeared into nonexistence after changing the names. "Gaia...and Agul?"
"What...was that actually?" The holograms of the Council members began to mutter and murmur amongst themselves.
"...That might've been…" Thinking of a way to not cause panic and to not doubt the security of TPC, the Commissioner thought off a lie. "That would be the unveilings and twists for the new names, Gaia, protector of Earth and Agul of the Seas."
The coloration had them right, red to symbolize the heat of Earth and blue to symbolize the oceans. "I see...that was a...spectacular job on doing a revelation." His fellow Commissioner on Mars followed him after a hand gesture to him gave him the needed information.
"Quite marvelous." Another Commissioner, another close friend of his, added his bit. Making him more credible to the revelation 'show'.
The room soon nodded and assumed that the name was fairly fitting, then Shunya nodded to himself. "Right, moving on. The Prophecy of Three had been dated to as long as millions of years ago. So it is safe to say that these beings have lived longer than any of us."
The Council members digested the information. "According to the data that we have extracted from the meteorite that had fallen to Earth containing the capsule, Humanity had once coexisted with these Titans of Light."
"You mean there were civilizations before ours?"
"There were. That ancient civilization had ceased to exist as they had said. But this might be what we, people would call 'Atlantis'."
"Hold on, weren't there evidence that the three statues that were found around the mountains of Hachimantai, two were found destroyed and the third presumably Tiga survived….how did they live on without these statues?" A member asked critically, having done his research far more thoroughly.
"For that we do not know for certain, theories are that those are unneeded cocoons of the beings known as Tita...Gaia and Agul, or perhaps what some members think, that Gaia and Agul are rather survivors of Atlantis. As I have said, we do not know for sure, however those statues' materials aren't made from just any material, their scans had glints of specium, you can say that they are a compound made of specium and other materials."
The members began to murmur their own discussions before Shunya brought their attention back to the matter at hand. "Despite the events, it is not known why the Sphias can open wormholes directly to Earth and have not done so. It is likely that these are possibly separate entities who threatened to invade Earth for their own gains."
"...Then, we are possibly facing off against multiple invaders?" Another member questioned, Shunya simply nodded at the question. "Then how are we supposed to fight against them?"
"...It is simple...by fighting alongside Ultramen."
"You are...proposing to side with these aliens?"
"I am not proposing, I am requesting that all of you consider that ultramen had existed 30 million years ago and fought against the threats that humans of the time fought. Are we supposed to say that they aren't natives to Earth as well?" He asked as he soon brought up multiple screens, all of them were recordings of Tiga, Dyna, Agul and Gaia fighting off against various invaders. "They have fought alongside us and had continued to fight till this moment, so is it too much to ask if we lend more hands to fight alongside them?"
"..." The members simply stood silent.
"As they appeared, they had fought against all the odds that Humanity would've fought alone and yet they had gotten in the way of those invaders. Shielding us with their own bodies and continuing to suffer by protecting us. May I ask you whether this is the right way to simply just ignore their suffering and continue on with our current progress?" The videos of Tiga and Dyna falling to their knees against the odds played out, continuing to rise and continue their fight. "So what are we supposed to do? Stand around, living our day as it is? Or do we stand alongside them in protecting that all of us share?"
One by one, the holograms of the members of the TPC and UN disappeared with the two last members giving him the thumbs up before disconnecting. Shunya simply felt his legs give in before hanging onto the podium. "...Tell me...Shinichi...was I convincing enough?" He sat against the podium, panting a bit from the nervous wreck he was.
Matsuda slowly opened his eyes before finding the white ceiling of the medical bay. He nearly panicked before he had gotten sense into his brain and forced those reflexes to die out. Looking at his bedside, he saw Leah sleeping in peace, her hair disheveled, wearing a casual outfit of a black shirt and blue pair of shorts. She looked as if she was enjoying her nap as she snored silently. "Hmm phew, hmm phew, hmm phew," she snored lightly, he simply smiled a bit as if feeling that he had a little sister…
But then again, the girl is probably older than him, but that didn't matter, mentally…
…
…
She's probably more wiser than him actually, but he still patted her by the head. "Munya…" She then began to wake up before looking at him. "M-Matsuda!? You're awake!" She went to hug him, effectively doing so as Matsuda felt like he was fine, despite being hospitalized. "Oh my God! Sorry! I didn't mean to-a-ah…" She pressed both her pointers against each other.
"How...long?"
"E-Eh?"
"Have I been asleep?"
"Oh...a week…"
"...A week?" He simply felt forever there and then she says it was only a week? He was prepared to feel like he was going to be asleep for a month or more..
Actually, it makes sense, since if you felt bored or were doing something not relaxing you would realize time passes as fast as a snail, but then when you aren't bored, time flies as fast as a car going 'I am speed'.
"Yep. A week, and now you're fine!"
"R-Right...wait...where are we?"
"On Mars. The doctors were scared that the moment we reach the Moon, you would die from blood loss, and with no form of Space Stations available to go to the Moon, they brought you here."
"Oh…"
"So...how are you feeling?"
"...I feel...good actually...w-was there anything that happened when I was out?"
"No, not really, you were placed on medical leave. A few days."
"I can get back to work actually! I don't wanna use up too many days off!"
"Wha-Matsuda-san-" Leah was left mute as Matsuda was able to get up on his feet with no qualms, his legs seem to work normally, despite injuries focused on his lower body.
"C'mon, Leah!"
"I...r-right!"
Motohama sighed as he looked at his laptop screen, lazily browsing for information before the screen blanked out. "Eh?"
Then it showed Gloria, with her cold expression. "So, you have debuted...that's a relief, and I thought you would take some time before you were able to bond and transform."
"I, G-Gloria!? What are you doing on my laptop screen!? More importantly, how are you able to bypass my-"
"Your security? You should know that a lot of self-proclaimed anti-virus and protected security are flawed, so hacking just took time. But I am impressed that you handled the kaiju well."
"I...thanks, I guess? No wait, why are you contacting me!?"
"I am checking whether you have some PTSD going on."
"PTSD?"
"Post Traumatic-"
"I know what that is, but why are you asking if I have that?"
"To make sure that you don't get episodes of mental stress." She shrugged, answering as if it was the most obvious answer of all time.
"...Why exactly?"
"I would not share information that can give you PTSD, it would be counterproductive to have a guilt tripped partner in crime."
"...Partner in crime!? Like hell, I would-!"
"Tick tock, your relatives are clocked."
"...I...tch, I got no choice then…" Motohama muttered, having been blackmailed, he got no way out of the mess.
"Thankfully, it seems like you have made a good choice then." Gloria simply smiled in satisfaction. "When he defeats a kaiju, we will take him out of the question."
"W-Wait, we won't kill him, right?"
"How innocent must you be to not realize that taking him out of the picture means we need to end his life. Permanently."
"Wait, w-why are you-"
"We cannot allow another Titan to interfere with our duty. Therefore...just like vigilantes, they are also criminals."
"But...to kill someone who is fighting…"
"I won't ask you again. So I hope you realize what you're getting yourself into."
The screen then blacked out, Motohama gritted his teeth. "I didn't even ask for this power to kill our own ally…"
"Fighter Jet Sky Surfer and Sky Gaynor." Vincent looked at the hangar of the GUTS Europa base, the Mechas were highly different compared to the GUTS system Mechas. Their forms were far more compact and looked definitely made to fight rather than for SAR. The only thing closest would be the Super GUTS system Mechas, the GUTS Eagle, which was based on the Japanese Neo Maxima power system.
"I knew they were gonna be good fighters." Aria nudged her fiance's abdomen, gaining a sigh from the man. "So, the Fighters born from EX, huh?"
"Yep."
"Also why are we here? I doubt that it's only for us to sightsee around here." Motohama can only look in awe at the number of aircrafts in the hangar. Multiple reserves of GUTS Crimson Dragons and the GUTS Wings littered the hangar. Possibly a good three dozen of them, with a dozen being GUTS Wing 1s.
"Oh no, I was approached by GUTS Eropa regarding a possible inquiry about the Fighters."
"So how does it actually compare, Vincent-san?" Motohama was curious on how different the system was compared to the GUTS Wings.
"For one, it actually has proper armaments and not conversions. Making them more effective in doing damage as the armaments were designed to be used for combating kaijus. They have better speeds and they can be compacted."
"Compacted?"
"I designed them to be Container Mechas, Mechas which are able to be folded for transportation and ease of storage. Of course, we minimize chances of malfunctions as well by having them be able to be conventionally capable of flying without being dropped from a sky base." Motohama was utterly lost.
"Err, sky base?"
"Apparently GUTS decided to deploy a Sky Base, named Aerial Base Europa. This is to bring aircrafts up to speeds of the highest altitude to be able to use their high speed travels."
"...Alright then."
"You don't understand, do you?"
"I...understand parts, but not all."
"I'm on the same boat." Aria raised her hand as Vincent facepalmed.
"Last person I need to not understand is you." He muttered out loud before Aria hummed.
"You stretched it too much me thinks."
"What am I gonna do with you?" Vincent can only smile in pain. Motohama just watched as they walked down the path to a meeting room, where he noticed that the room was massive as hell.
Like the Alchemy Stars' design, the room was sleek, simple, but grand-looking with its light grey background and red accents. Support beams made of steel decorated the room with their holes, accordingly making them quite decorative. "Ah, welcome." He could hear the voice of a young woman as she approached them.
'Her face.' It was unmistaken, that face…
Her face looked similar to that of Gloria, only she had blonde golden hair that dropped down to her back. "Nice to meet you, errr…"
"Victoria. Victoria von Brunstedt." She simply gave them a formal smile, a smile that one shows to show confidence most of the time. "I believe that you are Motohama Aria and Vincent Maximillian von Veils, yes?"
"Indeed." It was weird actually…
Motohama can perfectly understand her...speaking Japanese, unless GUTS Europa was taught Japanese, she wasn't supposed to be this fluent. He had heard foreigners speak and they absolutely butcher the accent. This one.
Victoria had no accent, yet spoke as clearly as day, her words were easily understandable for some reason, he didn't know why, but he just instantly understood what she said. Weren't they supposed to speak mostly European languages?
"And who is this?" The woman gestured to Motohama as the couple looked at him and chuckled nervously.
"My younger cousin, I thought it might...be alright to bring him here?"
"As a tour, I see? It is fine, we are not opposed to having visitors in slow hours!" Her voice boomed as she spoke the line. "And what's your name?"
"Err, Motohama Akio. Thanks for having me?"
"Hmhm, polite. I like his quality. Is he a candidate for Alchemy Stars I wonder?"
"Oh, no, my uncle, err, Motohama Gorou had asked me to show him around Alchemy Stars."
"Motohama...Gorou, I see...that's why I felt your surnames are different." That is an interesting information for both Motohama and Victoria, Japanese names were backwards, surnames and first names were switched. He had his doubts, but he believed that she was accustomed to it. "The Organizer of the Armament Manufacturer, Ashitaka-Westfalen Werkes, am I correct?"
"Eh?" Motohama looked shocked. "Dad...was the Organizer?"
"He didn't tell you? Well, it was never explained who he was, only his name, I am thinking that you just knew of this?"
"I...I didn't think that his work was this important…"
"I can see why, he didn't want to be targeted, so he set no form of pictures or valid information on how he looked…" Victoria rubbed her chin. "He's a wonderful inventor or leader I suppose is more fitting. He had done so much for GUTS. Mainly the Hypersonic bullets, and the newest AAAM, the Durandal."
"So he arms GUTS then huh?"
"We would be lying if we say that we can be self-sufficient without his company. TPC considers him to be their closest accomplice."
"I...see…" Now he could see it. Clearly.
Motohama just realized how ironic it was. That the three perverts of Kuoh had relations with the TPC, Issei having his father working as a GUTS Officer before the tragedy, the uncle of Matsuda as well as his father being affiliated in TPC and his father now being one of their biggest arms dealers.
How stupidly ludicrous this was that they had members affiliated in the TPC, and he thought that he was the odd one out. "Now that out of the way, most of the crew are still taking their break for the week. Only me and the Captain are here."
"So, how do you operate at this capacity?"
"No need to worry, GUTS Europa is also assisted by the TPC Europa and European Union for the matter. However TPC Europa…"
"Is still not sufficient as a matter of fact, they're still very much reliant on GUTS Europa to an extent. You can say that they are under armed to an extent." A voice called out.
"Copperhead? And here I thought you took your leave." The man who approached them was by his 30s, bald headed, with a thin layer of facial hair, all of which are colored black, his eyes were colored in a brown shade. Standing at 5 foot 4 inches, he definitely wasn't the tallest, but he was built finely.
"Well, I can't leave you and the chief alone, now can I? Vice Captain?"
"Right, err, right here is Cobalt E. Julius, nickname Copperhead. He is one of our Flying Aces in this Flying Circus."
"Ah, so he's the one who shot down a hundred fighters in the simulations!?"
"A hundred and five fighters actually...it was also highly exaggerated, but well, I'm not complaining."
"I'm sure. Now, sir Vincent, if you may. Please, just sit, we do have questions to ask."
"Right, err, Aria, Akio, please." He spoke in Japanese, gesturing the two to sit as they did so. Motohama was feeling a bit unsure as he sat. "Now, err…"
"Ehem, I will start. You had phoned our services in light of the Sky Surfer and Sky Gaynor, correct?"
"Yes. The way you are flying them is too conventional as unlike with the GUTS Wings, the SS and SGs can hover for an indefinite period of time, making them vastly similar to attack helicopters."
"I see…this will surely be useful to note, anything else?"
"Funny thing is that I believe that there are some complex parts that are not understood by the manufacturers."
"If I recall, it would be the folding mechanisms?" Cobalt questioned, an eyebrow raised.
"Yes, they can be compacted for better storage."
"The question is why do the SGs have their cockpit fold upwards?"
"The thing with the SG would be the rotating cockpit, which was designed to be more of a convenient way to compact it with the needs of its better ammunition counts and inventory."
"...Yes, that would be a satisfying answer, but why make them compact?" The Ace asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I think I may have found a good Parasite Plane Design?"
"Parasite Plane…" Victoria muttered, her eyes narrowing. "That's a designation I have yet to hear for years. And you have a good design?"
"It is able to carry 3 Jet Fighters or Container Mechas that I have designed. It mostly is a massive plane with the capability of being an AWACS." AWACS was a very much valuable asset in the battlefield and to have one in this would be amazingly efficient.
"I see, so a Carrier AWACS...interesting." Victoria grins. "I'm gonna be rooting for your design."
"Bet." Vincent grinned, Motohama simply looked a bit confused from how they were speaking German and Japanese back and forth, of course, Vincent was speaking German, while Victoria was speaking Japanese.
It just...didn't make sense.
"Is there a GUTS Communicator Device actually?" He suddenly blurted out. "I'm sorry, but...I'm hearing Victoria-san in Japanese…"
"Oh, err, yeah, GUTS had been issued translation devices due to Europe's language barriers." That was a good reason actually. Despite being Germanic for the most part, Slavic language as Croatian, Slovenian, Czech, Polish, Lithuanian, Slovakian, anything that is non-Germanic based would be hard to understand. But how she answered came off a bit…
Nervous and unsure on her own judgement. But Motohama...Motohama did not know how he was becoming this sharp...was it because of the light he had taken? He had made sure that the day before wasn't a dream.
"Anyways, so that's the new communicator device, huh? It works like a charm!" Aria gave an excited look. The words that came out did come off feminine and possibly match her actual voice, just spoken in a different language.
But...her lip movements…
Perhaps he was overthinking this. There was no way that he saw them moving like she was speaking in Japanese when she should've been speaking German this whole time...
"Matsuda-kun! You shouldn't be up!" Leah spoke to no avail as Matsuda zipped up his Super GUTS uniform.
"No, I'm not gonna stay on the bench, Leah-chan. I gotta up my games!" He spoke with a determined look on getting through with the matter.
"You're stubborn as hell."
"Means that it's a good thing." Leah simply pouted.
"No, it doesn't."
"I'm pretty sure it does."
"Mmmmm." The two of them were going towards the hangar where they found the GUTS Eagle to be. The Eagle Alpha was on maintenance after the crash, and Matsuda immediately cringed from how badly damaged it was.
The left side of the wing got scorched, but the right side. Oh boy, the right side can be pretty much called nonexistent or charred beyond belief. It had its inner machines ripped apart, the outer shell that protected it was blown to pieces, chunks were missing. While the Eagle had a durable base, it seemed like it was still lacking in some departments.
"Oooh, damn…"
"It's even worse than when you first crashed it. That one just got a splinter blown and the crash itself just dented the alloy plates." Leah sighed. "Honestly, Matsuda-kun, you gotta be less reckless."
"Ah, damn, sorry…"
"Like the Cap'n said. Sorry won't cut it." She gave a smile of her own as Matsuda signed loudly. "Well, good thing that the newer Alpha had come out."
"It has?"
"Yep. Alpha 'Sieg', it is just called that as it is armed with better cannons than the one you crashed."
"They immediately remodeled it?"
"Not remodeled, but improved. Who knew your combat data of falling apart helped them figure out to up their game on some parts?"
"Erk."
"Hehe, no worries, the Sieg will hold up better than the Stock."
"Hopefully so, where is it?"
"Oh it's behind you."
"Eh?" Turning, he saw the hangar's opposite side with a similar Eagle Alpha, on the top was a golden ᛋ rune. "That's…?"
"That symbol means Sun, although in Armanen runes, they mean Victory."
"...They were used in World War Two, weren't they?"
"Yeah, but let's let bygones be bygones. History should be remembered and not forgotten, but we shouldn't always harbor hatred. Nothing good comes out of that as you know." Leah pondered off. "...But that's for another day." She smiled out of the mood. "Today, we live in the present, so let's focus on that."
"A-Ah! R-Right!"
"Also you're flying us back to the Moon Base."
"E-Eh!?"
"Cap'n's orders~" She smiled. "Although he did expect you in a few days and not now." She placed a finger by her lips in a ponder. "Are you actually alright?"
"Y-Yeah, how many times do I need to tell you that!?" Leah looked concerned about the boy as she simply smiled.
"Then, promise me one thing."
"I...err, yeah?"
"Take care of your body, alright? You can only run your body as well as you take care of it."
"Oh...I...well, gotcha, Leah-chan."
"Oh please, you're a year younger than I am. So call me, Leah-nee-chan, kay?" She gave her trademark smile.
"I...fine then…"
"That will wrap up the meeting then." After multiple conversations of various topics, which concerned mainly organization and equipment of the GUTS Europa and the branch's needs of resources, the meeting was finished.
"So, how are we sure that no monsters are gonna come today?" Vincent asked with a curious look.
"The only reason would be CRISIS."
"The Super Computer?"
"Yes, the one my younger sister worked on." Victoria gave a hard look, narrowing her eyes. "And yet she never got to see how it runs after she completed it…"
"May I…?"
"...Long story short, my sister...disappeared after finishing the Super Computer, we were separated that time, and by the time I came back, my sister per the words of her supervisors and fellow engineers. She left the organization after a failed test run on the Super Computer, one where she had to witness multiple various radical answers when asked." Victoria gave the German man a look of displeasure. "Hopefully that does not happen to you. To be betrayed by something you devoted your life from when you were young..."
"...I...I see…"
At that very moment, the room alarm began to blare. "What the-!?"
"There wasn't supposed to be a monster attack now should there be, Vice Captain!?" Copperhead demanded as the Captain quickly got to the Communications. "Sir!?"
Displaying the data on screen, the in-built AI quickly began the briefing. "An unidentified underground lifeform is beginning to emerge. Monster Category: G."
"G-Type?" The screen quickly changed to a local surveillance state camera that was around the area, the same area where C.O.V had came out of.
"You could say that we classify native monsters as G Type as in Ground Type." Victoria answered.
"What is this? Pokemon?" Motohama asked, a bit bewildered by the type convention.
"Now's not the time to be sarcastic." Vincent disciplined verbally before the ground on the screen shook and blasted open, a quadrupedal kaiju, seemingly reptilian in nature came out.
"Monster Codename: GEEL."
"We're down to three, but we can't let that stop us from doing our duty." Victoria spoke. "Copperhead, head onto the Wing 2 and provide Heavy Support, me and Adler will take SG and SS."
"Roger that."
"Is there anything we could do?" Aria asked, Victoria looked at the two before grimacing.
"No, we don't allow citizens to man our machines."
"But what if we join!?" Victoria narrowed her eyes. "I...I might have taken a test and passed…"
"I won't be much help, but I think me being able to analyze would do some justice, right?" Vincent asked, rather awkwardly.
"And sadly-" she was cut off by the Captain's hand, holding her shoulder. "Adler?" He did some hand gestures to her, causing Victoria to look completely wide eyed. "You can't be serious-" His eyes said something different as Victoria held her head down.
The Captain, Adler made a gesture, pointing at Aria to follow and for Vincent to man the post. "You sure this is a good idea, Cap?" The German nodded before he got towards the door to the hangar.
"...You knew what he ordered. Buckle up, you're on the Crimson Dragon."
"A-Actually!" Aria spoke up. "If...you don't mine, I would like to pilot the SG." Victoria looked at her and took a few seconds. "...I helped its development and I've had most time with it on the simulations."
"...Che, very well then. Don't screw this up." Aria nodded adamantly before she turned to the boys.
"Err...I…"
"Good luck, Ari-nee." Motohama can only give her a vote of confidence.
"You can do it. Don't give in. I'll be here with Akio."
"...You two…I'll be off!" Aria followed the three pilots through the corridor.
"So what's our game plan?" Motohama asked the older man.
"First of all...identifications, I'll need to come up with a strategy to break this thing apart."
"Right."
"Help me out perhaps?"
"Whatever I can do to help, I'll do it."
By Munich, Geel began its rampage as the citizens quickly began to run, appearing a day after C.O.V, it was smashing what were the ruins of the buildings within the city. The four fighters arrived by then. "Alright, just like the simulations." Aria muttered as she held onto the yoke.
"On the battlefield, you'll find the simulations aren't that similar." Copperhead spoke through the COMMs. "Vice Captain. Orders from the Cap'n?"
"Just like before, hopefully the monster would be less protected against the Railgun." Victoria spoke as she flicked a switch on the instruments' board. "Initiating Combat Mode. Good luck on the battlefield."
"Roger."
"Roger." Aria quickly flicked her safety switch to release all weapon safeties. The one thing that got her to be the fan of the Fighter SG was its arsenal, despite lacking speeds of the SS. It was far more maneuverable and an overall better design to combat kaijus, some might argue that it would be easier to hit than the SS.
She digressed, they had to be aiming and predicting her movements between sudden VTOL, which brings her to an immediate halt and hover or for her to suddenly evade swiftly. "Alright, firing!" The SG's arsenal of 4 45mm Hypersonic Autocannons quickly fired, while they were Hypersonic, the ammunition loaded were mainly High Explosive shells, which would chip the kaiju's hide apart.
The expected result was a total of ten autocannon barrages slamming onto the kaiju, the kaiju itself was a quadrupedal as mentioned, its form was akin to an ankylosaur, armored on the top side with a softer underbelly, its head was morphed to have a horn that ran on to the back of its head. The hindlegs were longer than its front legs as well.
"Damn, what a tough bastard."
"I'm in position, Base, what's its weak spot, over?"
"Looking at the biology and makeup, its underbelly is your safest bet. But I'm surprised, all of the G types have so many features that shows how much they adapted to follow the Earth's conditions." The anatomy of Geels was akin to a lizard in some specs, although enlarged to massive sizes.
"Is this the time to talk about it?" Motohama asked as he looked at the kaiju being blasted from all sides. "...But...is it really the right thing to do?" He asked himself, doubting himself as this would have meant that the kaiju was a native species.
Meaning that…
They were just animals...as all living things are.
Did it really deserve its fate?
Just for existing and living its life?
Firing at the beast constantly, the Fighter team was able to force it back from its advance. "Alright, what's our next plan?"
"Let loose of your missiles in stock. Go in for a barrage." Funny thing is that these fighters were equipped with ATGMs, which are used against armored vehicles, but the question was whether they were effective.
"Understood. Firing." The ATGMs quickly fired off, seeking the being's heat before making contact with its front part of the body, screeching in pain as it fell over to its back. "Gotcha!"
"Copperhead! This is your chance!"
"On it, chief!" The Wing 2's opened hull quickly began charging up to lob the projectile. "Astalavista, baby-"
Suddenly its belly opened to reveal a glowing red orb. "Wha-"
"Copperhead! Get outta there!"
"Oh shit-!" The orb fired off multiple fireballs at the sky, aiming for the fighters, two fireballs hit both Wing 2 and Aria's SG.
"Oh nononono!" Aria tried to reboot the hovering system and the stabilizers, trying to recover from her current position.
"Aria!? What's happening!?"
"The systems are down! I can't reboot them!" Aria explained her situation. Both Motohama and Vincent quickly looked at the screen, panicking in the inside of the aircraft.
"Quick! Eject!"
"A-Alright-eh!?" She looked as if she was desperately trying to pull the ejection handle. "It's...it's not working!"
"No...nonono, this isn't supposed to happen!" Motohama gritted his teeth and clenched his fists before he ran out to the hallway. Vincent was too distracted to even notice him running.

Motohama looked at his hand before watching it glow a bright vibrant red hue. "I'm Ultraman, right?" He asked the light as it continued to glow. "Then, I get to decide what I do with this light…" Gripping his hand, acting as Ultraman Jack's host once did, he raised his hand for the sky before a bright light engulfed him.
As Aria's Fighter SG continued to lose altitude, she began to feel hopeless on being able to live after this whole ordeal as her aircraft was about to fall from the lack of propulsion, she felt her aircraft suddenly stop. A bright light greeted her as it soon died out to reveal Ultraman Gaia, he began to walk over to an empty road before setting her aircraft down. "...Ultraman…" The being nodded, seemingly in acknowledgement before standing, he turned towards the kaiju and performed a front flip and landed on his feet to greet his opponent.

Getting to a fighting stance, he got both arms to perform his signature pre-fight stance before getting to his proper form then had a face off. Both sides looking weary at each other, both shuffled their feet, finding their favorable positions. The wind of the skies blew, whistling through the ruined city, onlookers watched as the sound of the wind blew, the two beings began to run against each other immediately. The ground shook from both beings' weight before Gaia kicked the monster's jaw.
The only SG and SS fighters began to hover through the air, trying to figure what could be done. "This is Victoria. Analytics, what's our best shot at this?"
"The orb under the monster's belly is a source of its most dangerous ability, guarded by a skeletal rib cage that could open. When the cage opens, fire at it with your autocannons, however I advise the use of missiles just in case."
"Understood. Glad to have you onboard, Analytics." The blonde woman smiled with satisfaction. "Adler, we're on standby apparently." A morse code beeps on her screen. "You said it, he's gonna take our jobs away at this point."
Gaia quickly gave the kaiju a roundhouse kick before cartwheeling backwards. The kaiju was more or less agitated by the assault, the ultraman quickly clenched his hand and got them both to their opposite arms before throwing a chop at the air in front of him, forming arrow lights that shot towards the kaiju. However the kaiju quickly hunkered down and blocked the attack, the moment the arrows made contact, they exploded and made no visible damage. Gaia simply clenched his hands before getting to his fighting stance and charged.
Jumping to the air, the kaiju quickly got on its hind legs and opened its belly and fired off fireballs at the giant. The fireballs quickly made contact.
UWARRGGHHHH!
Gaia was thrown backwards and crashed down the street, the fighters quickly fired their autocannons only for the kaiju to shut its belly from exposure. Making most of the bullets and missiles hit its more protected underbelly.
Gaia tried to get up, before falling down. His color timer began to blink. "His color timer's already blinking?" Victoria asked as she looked at the giant's blinking chest timer. "It appears that they are not invincible...and are simply living beings like us..."
Her screen jolted a morse code at her. "...I'm trusting you on this call, chief. Sounds kinda weird, but I'm gonna trust you." She activated her helmet's microphone and got the plane's in built speaker to speak up.
The main reason that they had a speaker was mainly to warn people off a massive ordnance strike. But this time, it was to communicate. "Ultraman!? Can you hear me!?" The titan's head jolted in stimulus, indicating that he heard her. "Get up! At this time of day, we can't have our hero fall down...so please, continue to fight. With us!"
Gaia clenched his hands and got up to his feet. "This...feels like...my limit…" Motohama spoke within the body of Gaia. "But...I still got many things to do...and...I won't back down...in this time. Gaia! Let's go!"

Getting to his fighting stance, Gaia quickly regained balance before he began to move in, running towards the kaiju, which was preparing its fireball barrage once more. The ribcage opened up before firing its fireballs. Gaia quickly slid down the ground, avoiding all fireballs before he grinded to a halt, his right arm was pulled back as far as it would and when he halted, his hand began to lurch forth and smashed at the kaiju's chest and sent it flying backwards from the amount of force carried out by the blow.
Geel landed on its back, its belly cage still open. "Now!" Both SS and SG quickly began to fire at the orb's area. "Hit it!" The barrage of autocannons and last batch of missile resulted in the orb's destruction as it dulled in color and fractured. Gaia quickly backed away before he placed his left arm on the side, folded on a right angle, and placed his right hand, folded in a chopping position on his left arm's wrist before slowing arcing towards his right and made an upside down cross, except unlike most ultramen, the horizontal hand was placed by the back of his vertical arm instead of the front.
This resulted in a forearm height stream of bright fiery red light to burst forth and blast the kaiju. As the stream ended, Gaia removed his left hand from the formation, the kaiju then exploded into hundreds of pieces after being blasted.
Exploding into smithereens, Gaia simply nodded in satisfaction as his color timer continued to blink. Looking at the fighters, he simply gave them a thumbs up. "Well, he can understand our language, surprising, huh?"
A morse code came in. "...Way to ruin the mood…" She muttered to herself and to her higher up. Gaia simply looked into the vast sky before flying away into the blue sky. Victoria can only smile as despite being not so supported, they had an ally to struggle with through this era.
