Arc 1 - Prophecy of Three
Chapter 8 - Why We Fight
"He's so cool." Aria muttered to herself as she reviewed yesterday's footage. A lot had happened after the initiation of both Vincent and Aria's recruitment into GUTS Europa. "Ne, who do you think named him Gaia?"
"It was reportedly a virus by someone. I can barely think of a few names who could hack into TPC's meeting." Victoria spoke up, giving her two cents on the matter. "But I feel like it is befitting. The Titan of Earth, Gaia."
"It sounds cheesy to me though." Copperhead sighed.
"Right, nothing here is not cheesy at this point." Aria rolled her eyes.
"Anyways, Aria, you will be integrated into Squad Blitz." Victoria broke the news.
"Eh, Squad Blitz, who am I with?"
"Me and Adler."
"Eh?"
"You are inexperienced, so we decided to instead of integrating you to another squad, we integrate you to our team." Victoria explained, the fundamentals of GUTS was experience, talent and discipline, something Aria lacked on the former and last, but not on the centerpiece.
"I...what about herr Copperhead?"
"He's placed on Base Management, he did injure his arm coincidentally."
"No need to remind me, chief." The man held his casted arm.
"Either way, we will begin the reforms of GUTS Europa's strike teams. We still have the two experienced teams on leave, so here we have Team Drache." The screen showed a trio of Germanic men in their 20s. "They are the youngest and most ambitious pilots of the three squads from before. Sadly they had not seen much exercise nor combat. They are formerly known as Team Hermes, who are well known for being on reserve duty."
"I see…" Vincent nodded before jolting it down on his notebook. "What about the other two teams?"
"We'll get more onto them when they are actually present."
"Ah, I see. May I ask about them further?" Victoria nodded, satisfied with the question.
"First in line is their leader, Captain Wilhelm von der Tann. He had scored a lot on the simulations and against other fighter pilots, you would find him to be quite more aggressive at play." The man in question was a young looking man with slick blonde hair and green eyes.
"Then we have the second member, Ludwig Klaus van Arys. He is one of the more cooler heads on the team. Comparing him with fighter pilots is not a good idea, since he is more ideal in fighting against kaijus than humans." The picture showed the tanned man to be having dark brown hair with brown eyes.
"Then the last member, Allen Carius, descendant of the Tank Ace himself. At first he thought off manning of one of the Ground Based Mechas, but duty called him in the form of the GUTS Crimson Dragon." The man was young with black hair and amber yellow eyes.
".. Anything else I need to know?" Vincent asked.
"The Fighter Variant SS and SG are still undermining construction, we can expect the next team to be equipped by a month. By then, Crimson Dragons and Wing 2s will be our workhorses." Victoria then blinked the screen out of existence and replaced its contents. "Then we have our next latest thing that was conceived." It showed a massive carrier-like ship. The most distinctive thing noted was its size. "Five years in the building. Aerial Base 'Magna Europa' will be online in a few months. All of its complimentary mechas, the Wing Floaters are ready, however its complementary fighters are still Crimson dragons. Which is fine for the time being."
"Woah...So how large is it?" Vincent asked, the woman grinned.
"600 meters in length, 80 meters wide and the weight of approximately 150,000 tonnes made of steel, aluminum, iron, copper, tungsten, chromium and every conceivable material that you can imagine is used to build the base. This is Europe's first flying Super Carrier and its most ambitious creation after all the time spent on their own separate glory." She obviously memorized all this to make her best speech and monologue of all time. "This is the fruit of Europe's...well...mostly Germany's hard labor. And its armaments are nothing to scoff at either."
"Armed with 18 406mm guns, the use of the Japanese Sanshikidan style shells to fight off swarming enemies, also capable of HE and Super Heavy Shells, then the use of approximately 40 missile silos to act against any flying targets, 10 of them being ICBMs and 30 being SAMs, we also have Rocket Launchers with fifty AEGIS-guided 40mm Bofors and then seventy five of the Dutch's Goalkeeper CIWS. It is said that the Germans wanted to buy the 406mm guns from the USA, but due to their lack of cooperation opted to build it themselves from their 406mm cannon projects. The idea was apparently widely accepted due to the lack of punch and vulnerability of a missile."
"Vulnerability of a missile?"
"That was an excuse by the politicians to have Battleship guns." Victoria waved off. "It is said to be able to carry a hundred Crimson Dragons on its conventional deck and a total of twenty seven Container Mechas within the Container Catapult system of the Europa."
"Container Catapult, so they accepted that idea?"
"It was much cheaper than the Americans' Electromagnetic Catapult System, the Aerial Base is based on a little more than 37,000 feet above sea level when active."
"That's high...very high."
"Indeed, but the air is still breathable, which helps maintenance crews be able to check any issues with the craft."
"Interesting…"
"Well, that's enough of Aerial Base, where is your cousin-in-law?"
"Oh, Aki-kun is...going out for some fresh air, I dunno why though…"
"He was antsy when he heard you were shot down, maybe he is trying to think of something or figure something out." Vincent theorized.
"That...doesn't sound like him at all…"
Going to the Munich Park was what Motohama had in mind as he looked around the destroyed structures of the city of Munich. "Awful, isn't it?"
"Gloria." Motohama turned to the girl as she walked to his side, looking at the devastation of the city. "This is…"
"This is what was prophesied by CRISIS when it went online." Gloria spoke, it took a few seconds for the boy to register what she meant.
"Gloria-san...you're the one who finished what the previous developer couldn't…" Motohama suddenly realized. "Gloria Kielce von Tirpitz."
"You have been researching well then. Yes, I did finish CRISIS and helped kickstart the programs to counter the Invaders who will come." She spoke with a bitter smile. "Yet all I found with my invention was that with the existence of Devils and the Supernaturals, humans are always doomed to fail. So that is why I sided with Agul, to finally seal off the Prophecy and fulfill it."
"...I see…" Motohama didn't have anything to say as Gloria stuffed her hands into her pockets. "So, why did you...disappear?"
"...That...is none of your concern right now." She narrowed her eyes. "The war has only begun. The Three Guardians against the Invaders prophesied to come."
"That time will definitely come, huh?"
"...In either case. You have not gotten your transformation device, had you?"
"I...no, I didn't."
"I see...it will be troublesome to not have a device to store your light in."
"But this body is doing-"
"Storing the light within your body won't be harmful unless you store it for a month where your body will deteriorate due to its power. Your body is not suited to store the light, so, take this." The woman took out a device out of her jacket's inner pocket. "The Esplender." Said item had a grip, with a golden touch of an arrow pointing downwards with a bright blue window pane.
"I...why are you-"
"As you need me to help you, it works both ways. It benefits the both of us to help each other." The whitenette spoke before throwing the device at him, Motohama caught it before finding that the light within him exited his body and quickly formed as a yellow orb that flew out of him and into the device's glass pane. "Receiving the light means you have accepted the risks and burden of Ultraman."
"...You know of it as well?"
"Ultraman is...what you could call my idol when I was young. But you would learn how heavy the burden he carries when you get older. It isn't always about beating up monsters and saving the day, nor is it that you are invincible and immortal. Ultraman is just there to serve the people and gain nothing from it." Gloria muttered. "Even if he was an alien, he shouldn't be treated differently."
"And we don't."
"The people? No. It's the ones in charge, who want the light for themselves." Motohama couldn't deny it. Many people would do anything to exploit that power. "You realized that, don't you?"
"...I can't deny that. But still, we fight for the innocent, don't we?"
"That is not why we are here. Agul is born to protect Earth, but not obligated to protect Humanity. Same with Gaia, same with Tiga. Perhaps, the new one is here to protect Humanity and not Earth, perhaps that is the reason he feels the need to defend Humanity, going as far as to get bombarded on Mars." Gloria deducted before turning to Motohama. "Tell me, you have the power of Gaia, what motivates you to fight?"
"What...motivates me to fight?"
"Remember it, since you only fight from the cause and effect kind of situation. But if you send your family and your loved ones to a safe place, you won't ever want to transform. So I'm asking why you are fighting."
"The reason…"
"Until you can find the reason...don't try to transform, got that?" The woman questioned, the highschooler can only nod with irritation in his face. "Good. So farewell until the next time we meet." She waved off.
"...The reason I fight…"
Issei threw up in the bathroom after he had his episode, the nausea and pain in his stomach were all washed away as he did so. His wobbling legs were still there, although able to support his figure. Coughing and gagging the last remaining fits within his throat, he suddenly collapsed in exhaustion. "Dammit…" He grabbed the stone parts of the sink with his hand before pulling himself up to stand. "That's...the…ninth time this month...How many more do I need to suffer through?"
He opened the sink's tap before drinking from it, washing the bitter and sour aftertaste on his tongue. He quickly spat the water out before looking at the mirror. He could see his own tired face, fatigued and stressed out of belief. Closing the tap, he rubbed his face on a towel before taking deep breaths. Then a knock came through, startling him a bit from the fact that it was unexpected. "Ise. May I come in?"
"Err, yes! Come in!" Vali opened the door and was met with Issei being in the bathroom, before finding the stains of his puke. "I...sorry for the mess."
"No, no, it's fine. But you should be in bed."
"I know." He looked a bit gloom. "...Sorry for the day before."
"No, it's fine." Vali shook her head lightly. "You were having an episode, so I should have been a bit more mindful of your privacy when it happens. I also told the staff about it."
"...You really didn't need to."
"I'm not sure if you noticed, but this is not a psychiatric hospital, people are not trained for things like this."
"You have a point...sorry…"
"Again, it's fine." She pressed the latter phrase. "I had a word with Sona...again, and would like to extend your leave to a week due to a car accident, your mother knew of what happened…"
"...My mother?"
"...I can't replace her memories." A tense moment appeared between them. Issei looked in disbelief.
"You...tried to repla-"
"Only the Devils, I didn't replace her memories of you, it is for her own safety that she doesn't know the existence of Devils." Vali's face was filled with nervousness and cold sweat. "...But...she was...resistant to it…"
"So then, my mother…"
"She has a magic resistance, and she practiced it. A lot."
"But that...doesn't make sense, I always-" There was a pause. Him going back from school, always encountered her back at home with a fatigued look. This was normal due to the fact as a single mother, she would work endlessly around the house and around the clock. Was that...how did she get the money to feed them both then?
It didn't make sense. None of it did.
Unless…
"...Aha...Tou-san...even when you're gone, even when I let you down…" He could see within the skies above, his father smiling down from the clouds. "...You still cared for the both of us…so...why can't I?" Clenching his fist.
His mind began to race. Was he really this weak minded? Multiple people had told him that it wasn't his fault that his father had passed, delaying his departure will only delay the inevitable. Many things crossed his head and now he made up his mind.
"Vali...I made up my mind."
"Eh?"
"Even when he's gone, he always prioritized me and kaa-chan." Looking at her with a determined face. "Thank you for telling me this." His body got to work immediately, he took out the needles placed within his body. "From now on…" Vali can only watch as Issei knocked the IV pole down to the ground. "I'll do my best to keep everyone safe. Just like tou-san did."
"I-Issei-! Your body's-" she cut herself short as Issei's signature was more akin to a healthy man's than a sickly wounded. "W-Why is this? No...no way, your body adjusted to the Phoenix Tear?" Had his body absorbed and reproduced Phoenix Tears to drive his healing factor by multiple times?!
Issei clenched his hand and unclenched, as he looked at it, he can only offer nervous words of his confusion. "I…don't understand what you meant, but...if it means that I can fight better." He grinned wildly. "Then I don't care if it's not from me. The power I harnessed...I'll use it all to protect."
Vali watched as he dressed himself. "...Then I guess I'll have to work this out as a habit, huh?" She mused to herself.
"You're my partner-in-crime then?"
"To keep you out of trouble it seems." Issei brought his fist for a fistbump, which Vali grinned at and returned the gesture. "Let's do our best, aibou."
"You bet, aibou!" There was no stopping him, so she'll just help him to the best of her ability.
Matsuda felt his charm, it had been with him from Day One of his Mars Expedition, looking at it, he could see Amy's smile reflected by its surface. It was funny…
Were wooden charms meant to glimmer like this one? Or is this a rock? It was weird as it was light for some reason. So was Amy an alien who came with Dyna? And passed this onto him as the wishes of Dyna himself?
He wasn't sure, but…
Amy was important to him nonetheless.
Nothing would change that. It had been a week after he passed out on Mars, a day passed after his return and nothing had happened in the past days.
Matsuda sat on his bed, wondering on what to do, that was before he realized that he could instead begin his usual training as a child. Competing with his father over many things, he would try to beat him on push ups, his limit being forty at the age of eight.
Jumping out of bed, he began to get into position and rubbed his hands together before he began committing himself into the training regime he had in his mind.
A hundred push up, a hundred sit ups, a hundred pull ups, a hundred meter sprint and a five kilometer run on the treadmill.
To be honest, after twenty minutes, he regretted on a hundred pull ups. "Must...get...stronger." Using the cabinet that was bolted in as a pull up pole, Matsuda began to pull his body up before he fell on fifty nine. "Damn it!"
"Matsuda?" He could hear Leah call out. "Oh, mattaku…" She muttered in complaint. "You should know that these cabinets aren't for exercises, Matsu."
"Ehehe, sorry sorry. Wait...how did you get through my door?"
"Hadn't you heard? I'm the Lockpicking Master!"
"Is that for real!?"
"No, it's mainly you being a ditz for not locking your room and Card Scanners are a fritz to hack via Master Control Card."
"Master...Control Card?"
"Yep, as a Super GUTS operator, I have access to nearly every door imaginable, excluding the ones where only Admin Control Cards are needed to access them."
"...Admin Control Card?"
"You're hopeless. It's the Pinnacle Card to access EVERYTHING, duh, it's gonna be more powerful than the Master Control Card."
"I'm not into tech, err…"
"You're into porn, I know."
"Urk."
"Oh wait, you're...ohhhhh, shit." She cursed. "I was not expecting that to be true…"
"L-Leah-!"
"No worries, I won't tell anybody." She smiled. "After all, it's normal to have those tendencies. Just don't do it openly." Leah joked about, twirling as she did so.
"You...really are easygoing, huh?"
"It's easy for me to do it, y'know?" She continued smiling as Matsuda watched her.
"...Say, Leah."
"Yeah?"
"Why did you join Super GUTS at such a young age?"
"...Oh, aha...my dad and mom were members of TPC, both were geniuses, both my two brothers are also working as pilots in GUTS North Americana, so I was picked mainly for my skill on computers. Teehee…" She tried to keep a bright smile. "Ahhh, I really wanted to join GUTS NA."
"To be with your family?"
"Yeah, being here sometimes felt a bit lonely without them being super noisy, it sucks…" She muttered out before laughing it off. "...But, it's kind of a duty for me to keep the invaders off by any means necessary. I...envy you, Matsu-kun."
"Eh?"
"You got to fight in the frontlines. On the Alpha, no less. I know that it doesn't have the strongest of lasers, in fact it's the weakest on armaments due to the need for its top speed, but...soaring through the stars, the skies and penetrating the clouds like a silver meteor...that's my dream, y'know?" Leah shared with the boy. "Heh, I think I'm getting ahead of myself here."
"...So you joined Super GUTS to protect your family, huh?"
"...That's about it. Nothing special here. I just answered when duty calls." She leaned against the wall. "You gotta make sacrifices for the greater good after all. And for me that's my time with my family for their sake. But looking at the past week, that was...kinda stupid to assume." The fact that the Earth was penetrated by the Sphias and a new foreign entity, she felt like she had failed her duty on not allowing foreign entities to get past her line of duty.
"I see…" Matsuda could only offer those words.
"Nevermind that though, I got a new rumor to share."
"Eh?"
"Apparently Specium is the same thing used by Ultramen back in the days, the same thing on Mars could be engineered to be used the same way."
"...We can build ultramen?"
"No, replicate them. Basically making a mechanical suit that shields you from attacks deemed life threatening and make it out. Maybe even use the Specium Ray, ain't it exciting!? A new breakthrough for technology!" She squealed. "If it were time, I would jump to get in one of those suits, you know what I mean?"
"Y-Yeah. But...what if people with bad intentions used it?"
"...Yeah, you're right, but no worries. We have the latest tech and latest everything. Mars Base will definitely find a way around that."
"Hopefully."
"So...Matsuda?"
"Yeah?"
"Why did you join Super GUTS?"
"Eh, mainly to-"
"The real reason. You could've just gone back to studying, right? Studying hard. So what made you join Super GUTS?"
"...What made me join Super GUTS…" He looked at the charm he had. "...Heh...I think I fight...to protect the dreams of humankind. That's what I like to think."
"Dreams huh? What a wonderful thing to have. Especially the impossible ones. Those were the best. Being Ultraman is one of the best impossible wishes to wish for."
"Yeah, it does sound nice. To protect the Neo Frontier Spirit. Hey, Leah." Matsuda grinned at his newfound will. "Let's do our best to beat the shit out of the kaijus, alright?"
"You bet, Matsu-kun!"
"The reason I fight…" Motohama muttered as he looked at the Esplender over his bed. "To fight kaijus...weren't it? Or is that not enough reason?" The essential knowledge of being an ultraman was dumped, fighting for humanity. All the cliché shit he could think off.
"...So...why? Why did I inherit this? Destiny? Fate?" All those stupid answers showed up. "Why? Tell me, is it for me to protect this world? To protect all of it? Or do I exist to protect Earth and not humans overall?"
He was cut short by the fact that the city siren began to sound on Munich. "No, not again. What is happening in this era!?"
By Japan, a remainder of the Sphias' Invasion Force landed on Mount Fuji, having absorbed deposits of rare earth metal within it, the synthetic beast copied a formidable machine named King Joe. Now its light up features on its chest glowed white and black from the Sphia's influence, the golden look was replaced by a grey and rough around the edges look. Its robotic form looked more organic than anything from a standpoint.
And that it meant more flexibility compared to the Robot known as King Joe. The whirring noises that the synthetic beast made sounded similar to what the original King Joe would sound like. GUTS Far East had immediately deployed fighters to intercept this being as it began to move towards the city.
By North America, a kaiju had come out of the ground, striking the city of Los Angeles, the kaiju was a carnivorous being, which awakened from its long slumber to begin its feast. GUTS North Americana had been dispatched.
The kaiju was 54 meters tall, its mouth was filled by nothing, but sharp teeth, its head was rounded, with no tongue, the kaiju can only shove its prey into its mouth and chomp before swallowing them. Its eyes were reptilian, its hide was mainly brown and black, an attempt to camouflage, the worst thing was that it absorbed sonar waves or anything that could detect it. Its form was akin to a Landshark.
And said beast was hulking through the city, searching for humans to eat and it didn't need to look any further with one of the most populated American city.
Within European Airspace, a fast moving UFO made its run waves from space, it wasn't detected until it entered the atmosphere where the GUTS Europa satellite had caught wind of it at the altitude of 90,000 feet above the air.
At first it was thought to be a possible comeback of the late SR-71 until it dawned on the European Powers. The SR-71 was nigh swift and fast, but the UFO flew at a much faster rate than a usual SR-71 and a contact from USA confirmed that it wasn't their aircraft.
All Military personnel was quickly placed on high alert with GUTS Europa taking quick and decisive actions to send Interceptors in the form of three GUTS Wing Blue Tornados piloted by TPC pilots as GUTS pilots had not been retrieved yet, Fighter Jet SS piloted by Adler and an SG piloted by Victoria had been sent to intercept.
Then out of nowhere, a second blimp had been spotted over the Russian's Siberians heading towards Eastern Europe and West Russia, GUTS Siberia with their outdated GUTS Wing 1s were unable to catch up as well. Causing a divide on GUTS Europa on who to intercept.
"I volunteer in the interception of the second UFO, sir!" Aria spoke her mind, the Deputy however wasn't taking it. "Please, sir. I wish to prove myself in the battlefield again!"
The out of action pilot sighed, having a strained look on his face. "Look, I know you're energetic and you want to prove that you are a great asset, but all available aircrafts that are capable of pursuit are either used or down." Before adding. "The one downed in Munich had not been repaired."
"No way…" Aria looked in disbelief. "You mean…"
"The being travels at the stable speed of Mach 5.8, GUTS Europa had only three GUTS Blue Tornados in their inventory. SS and SG are providing back up. We cannot give any guarantees on using the Wing 2." Copperhead finished off with a snort.
"But where are the EX-Js!?"
"EX-Js were seen as a slightly inferior counterpart to Europa's GUTS Wing 2 with its Enhanced Particle Driven Railgun. I had to admit, Europe could use more Railguns than Flamethrowers and Ice Beams."
"...So...so there's no way of pursuing it?"
"..." The man looked conflicted as he looked at his options. "A vehicle that is capable of pursuit exists within the inventory. However its armaments are basically what the previous GUTS aircraft, GUTS Crusader, is armed with."
GUTS Crusader.
That was a name that would've sparked joy to kids in the 1990s, a Jet Fighter built in for Space Patrols, the first official Space Fighter series to exist. It was used in Armadas to escort rockets to Mars, later on Space Freighters. GUTS Crusader was the first genuine breakthrough of Earth to colonize the Solar System.
"GUTS Crusader...you're saying."
"We have a GUTS Snow White, she was our fastest aircraft, before the GUTS Eagle, then the SS lagging behind it, however as you are aware, not so good on guns. This testbed is left in Germany for emergencies or a possible continuation of its task of breaking records." Mach 8.5 was its top speed in Earth's atmosphere. It was more than enough to take care of the kaiju.
"Then! I'll be going-"
"Hold it." The man called out to her. "Do not take it lightly. Snow White is a dangerous aircraft to pilot."
"But sir-"
"This is an order." He looked burdened. "I have minimal control and I'm basically betting my job over your pride. Do not go over Mach 8, Mach 7.5 is all you can use." He glared at her, serious with his warning. "Now go."
"...Roger!"
"It's begun." Gloria spoke as she watched the sky from the beach of Brest, donning her white uniform. "How will you take it...Gaia? Dyna? Tiga?" A trio of Blue Tornados flanked by an SS and an SG flew towards the ocean.
Issei and Vali got out of the portal as the former realized the situation when watching the television. King Joe was one famous kaiju from Ultra Seven, a notorious foe against the Ultra. And if left unchecked, the damage would be catastrophic. "Vali. I'm going."
"Be careful, I'll cover the ground and shield the city with a barrier."
"I...a barrier. Yes, that'll be useful to delay it."
"Alright, now go!"
"Alright! Tiga, let's do this!" Issei got to his pose, before raising his Spark Lens and tightened his grip on it. A pillar of light brightened the afternoon sky as Ultraman Tiga flew out of the pillar and towards where the synthetic beast robot was.
Vali nodded to herself before she looked around and got to her Balance Breaker form, Scalemail. Flying, she quickly formed a concealing barrier to not expose herself and formed an invisible barrier by the edge of the city. "I'm counting on you, Ise."
GUTS fighters fired at the King Joe copy, but the material that made up the being was composed of rare metals and unlike King Joe with its Pedanium Body, the Sphia Joe was mainly made of Rare Earth Metals and Igneous rocks, making it highly durable, however, it is not as unique as it was with the Pedanium.
With Pedanium, the only effective material against it was the Ryton R30, however this is a blessing as Earth does not have said material. But even then, the lasers did no particular damage to it. "And here I thought we're gonna do something against this thing!" Farhan yelled as his Wing 1 was being targeted.
"Complaining won't really do anything! Just fire whatever we got at it!" Kaido responded as the two Wing 1s began to continuously fire at the being. The Wing 2 had provided fire support as well, the Railgun had barely any effect on it.
"Damn it, we really oughta rework the Railgun!" Lianshi muttered in annoyance. "Its power is far too low to even make a difference!"
"This is all we got for the time being." Her Commander sighed as the three Fighters were incapable of making visible damage. Then suddenly, a bright light entered the fray and a being dropkicked the synthetic lifeform. "Eh?" Ultraman Tiga got up from his crouching form and turned around to face the synthetic being. "Tiga."
"He's here again, huh?" Getting to a fighting stance, Tiga began his assault.
(Play OST - Ultraman Tiga OST - Battle Theme)
The Sphia beast swung its arm, attempting to hit Tiga, only for said arm to be caught by the titan. The humanoid gave the kaiju a fury of kicks, but the material composing it was more or less jagged, that it caused him pain for each kick thrown.
The King Joe copy whacked the titan aside, causing him to roll and recover from the pain. King Joe simply got to its base form's tendencies to hold both arms up, arms to the side and forearms pointing upwards on a ninety degree angle before twitching its arm downwards every time it moved.
Tiga shook his head before putting both hands to fire his Specium Ray, as it fired, the King Joe copy, had its arms placed on the side, straightened before in a swift and clean motion, separated itself into four pieces.
The Separation Ships were a common trait amongst King Joes and this one was no exception. Tiga quickly tried to keep track of them, but failed as they moved far too fast and his eyes were still not used to seeing things going faster than the speed of sound within seconds.
The Sonic Boom caused all airborne aircrafts to suddenly shake from the intensity. Soon the four separation ships landed behind Tiga, all four components merged back into one and Tiga quickly turned, only to be grabbed by his neck. Then with a mighty huff, the robot threw him far, Tiga looked desperate before he switched to his Sky Type and nailed the landing. However Sky Type was nowhere near as powerful as Power in the comparison of power. So he has less opportunities on making a successful attack against the being.
(End OST)
Even still, Tiga kept his distance before he formed his Ranbalt Light Bullet stance, only for the King Joe copy to basically hold out his right arm and turned its hand into a cannon. Tiga was quickly shook by what just occurred. "King Joe turned its arm into a cannon!?" Farhan asked out of incredulity.
"That's not...they're adapting from the designs." True to that fact, Sphia Joe as it was called, fired off a barrage of cannon shells at Tiga, who quickly moved to dodge the first barrage and then held up his barrier. "This is Lianshi to Base, what's our next move?"
"It is unclear, Sphia Joe has shown developments over its capability. For now, stay away from its sight."
"But Tiga's…" Tiga was seen to change into Power Type behind his barrier, stopping its barrage, Sphia Joe's lung-like compartment glowed before its head sparked electricity and fired off two electricity blasts that combined into a single ray. Tiga, who didn't expect this move, immediately got blasted head on and was flung away from the sheer force the ray packed. "Ah!"
"It even has the OG's Dest Ray!"
"Back down, we shall reformulate our plan." The situation seemed dire from the looks of it as Tiga's color timer began to blink red, the Ray had inflicted a painful blow on the titan.
Matsuda and Leah quickly got onto the assembly room as Captain Todoriki was about to explain the situation. "Ah, Matsuda, Leah. Just in time. I'll begin the briefing. An underground kaiju had popped out of the ground on USA, Los Angeles."
"USA?" Leah muttered out to herself in realization.
"GUTS North America had launched their assault against the kaiju." The screen shows two Blue Tornado Wings firing their lasers at the kaiju to no avail. "Our mission is to aid GUTS NA."
"Sir!" Leah called out, Todoriki turned to find Leah taking her helmet and stepping forward.
"Leah?" The other members had not seen her act like this.
"Permission to join the mission."
"Denied."
"S-Sir!?"
"You may be a skilled technician...but you are no pilot, Leah." Todoriki explained, causing the woman to clench her fists. "Lea-"
The woman took off outside. "Leah!" Matsuda called out. "I'm going, Captain!"
"Super GUTS! Deploy!" The Captain quickly got to the COMMS. "Attention all personnel, do not let the GUTS Eagle take off at all costs!"
Matsuda and the other members began to run towards the Hangar, only to find that Leah wasn't at the entry to the Eagle. "What the...did she just?" Mark was confused at the situation.
"She juked us." Mio muttered.
"Attention! Hangar Bay 2 open."
"That idiot!" Tsubasa yelled as she found the GUTS EX-J take off from its hangar bay. "She took the EX-J!"
"Oi! Let us in!" Matsuda banged on the entry door to the Eagle. Banging it even harder didn't work at all. "Damn it!"
"Captain!" Kirishima opened his communicator. "Leah took off in the EX-J!"
"So she did it, huh? I didn't think she would take the EX-J...I'll lift the lockdown of the Eagle. Hurry!"
"Understood!" The entry door immediately opened as the six members quickly ran into their respective jets. Matsuda in the Alpha, Kirishima, Mark and Feng in Beta, lastly Tsubasa and Mio in the Gamma.
"Eagle! Launch!" The afterburners of the Eagle lit up before the catapult that held it began to pile up its power. Energy built up within the catapult as it then began to move the Eagle in order to launch it. As soon as it happened, the Eagle had been sent to space.
"That stupid girl, what was she thinking…?" Matsuda muttered as he knew what she was up to. "Kirishima-san?"
"Neo-Maxima Energy launch. Three. Two. One. Go!" The Eagle began to warp as the stars began to elongate outwards.
The monster that landed on Los Angeles by near midnight, caught many people off guard, it was codenamed Daigelun by the Top Brass, and it began its rampage with a fierce front, handful of M1A2 Abrams that were used by the US Army opened fire, but to no avail, each cannon shell barely scratched the kaiju's thick hide. "It's practically invincible at this point!" A GUTS NA pilot shouted within his COMMS.
"Keep your cool, Lee. It's not the end just yet." Another pilot spoke calmly to him.
"Easy for you to say." The former muttered. "Cap'n, what's your order?"
"We weren't expecting this. Until Super GUTS arrives, keep on distracting it." The voice of the male Captain adamantly ordered.
"Easier said than done, but gotcha."
"Liam, don't go in too recklessly." His fellow pilot warned.
"Right right, no one to bother you if I get shot down huh?" The pilot, Liam asked with a grin.
"Don't think of yourself too high, even if you are the older one." The pilot on the other side rolled his eyes. "But still, orders?"
"Well, at my count, we're gonna land a decisively long salvo."
"Of course, that's the plan."
"Just blow it away with everything we got! Let's go!" The two Blue Tornados quickly twirled before they adjusted their aircraft and fired everything they got towards the kaiju. Air-to-Ground Missiles made an impact and barely made a dent, lasers were barely scratching its thick hide. "Blow it away!"
The salvo and strikes barely did a number to the beast as the two aircraft pulled towards the sky. "Well, that was a disappointment, huh?" The second pilot asked.
"Shut it, Lian. This would be a lot easier if Leah were here…"
At that point, a blast of red lasers slammed onto the kaiju's top. "Another fighter? This is Tornado 2, unidentified aircraft, identify yourself."
"Been a while, huh, big bro?" The aircraft that arrived was a GUTS EX-J from above the clouds.
"The J? I thought they would come by another few hours!"
"Unlike others, most Super GUTS aircrafts are made to house Neo Maxima Engines. Lee, I thought we talked about this."
"Yeah, yeah, don't get ahead of yourself, we still need to blast this thing. And aren't you an Operator of the COMMS?"
"...Yes, and I am going to be punished for disobeying orders." The pilot could hear the girl's nervous and distressed tone.
"...You shouldn't have."
"It was sudden. But...I can't leave you two, mom and dad here. I thought that I might have a chance at protecting you all by being stationed at Mars by being the vanguard...heh, didn't work out when monsters came out of the ground instead of space."
"...I see…" As they talked, the three fighters joined in a formation. "...You got all your ammunition?"
"I'm good on stock. Let's blow em apart!" The combined blasts of the three jets staggered the kaiju, but didn't do much. The kaiju then opened its maw and fire jolted out of it. "Holy-"
"It can breathe fire...of course, it can." Liam muttered out in sarcasm. The kaiju growled before it focused on the citizens, M1 Abrams began to back away as their cannons proved to be useless against its hide. That was until a pair of successive laser shots blasted its head, concussing it.
"Oi oi, Leah, don't run off like that." A foreign voice came through the COMMS. The Eagle Alpha made its way onto the battlefield from above.
"Matsu-kun!"
"This is Terashi Matsuda, entering the battlefield. I'm looking forward to our cooperation."
"Likewise, now, let's blast this thing into nonexistence!" Liam grinned as the four aircrafts began to form up.
"Oi, Leah, don't be too reckless when going out." Matsuda admonished the girl as the four aircrafts fired at the kaiju. On his other end, the girl could only giggle nervously.
"Sorry...where are the rest?" As if on time, a barrage of lasers rained from above. "Oh."
"You really are getting into deep trouble for this, Leah." Kirishima spoke through the communication lines. Leah visibly cringed in her seat.
"S-Sorry, senpai!"
"Sorry's not gonna cut it, but that aside. Continue firing!" The onslaught was pretty wild as the kaiju was being swarmed by a total of six aircrafts and a whole Tank Brigade, infantrymen fired every Anti-Vehicle weapons they had, all HMVs armed with rocket launchers fired their rockets. F-15s, F-16s and F-35s joined the fray as missiles had been fired at the kaiju.
All attempts however were barely a scratch to it, annoying it rather than damaging it. "Che, Mio! Fire Gyner!" The Gamma readjusted its aim as Mio began to move the Gamma to hover, Tsubasa checked all the systems.
"Good to go, Tsubasa?"
"We're set. Gyner. Fire!" From the nose of the craft, Gamma fired off a laser blast, the beam quickly travelling before engulfing the scene in light. "Did we get it?"
The light died out to reveal that the kaiju was still alive and barely looked staggered by the attack, much less hurt. "Unbelievable." Leah muttered before her mind strayed off, the kaiju growled ferociously before sending off a jet of fire, the fire, while it did look normal, was estimated to be hotter than the surface of the sun by on-sight technical experts. "Kyah!" The cockpit immediately fell into disarray as Leah was quickly knocked out of action.
"Leah!"
"Oi, Leah!"
"Leah!"
Matsuda was the first to act recklessly, diving right towards the falling jet. He positioned his jet right below the EX-J, Matsuda began to try and pull up, but the EX-J was much more heavier to keep up on the air, the damaged controls also meant that the modified jet's engines were currently unstable. "C'mon! C'mon!" The jet was losing altitude. "Damn it! Dyna!" Raising his Reflasher into the air above him, the device opened its center part and flashed.
A bright light engulfed the scene before a figure fell from the night sky and smashed the subterranean kaiju on its head, sending it down to the ground. Landing on both feet, the onlookers can only watch as a shadowy giant figure holds both the EX-J and the Eagle Alpha before placing them both by the ground.
(Play OST - Ultraman Dyna Rise)
The figure turned to reveal himself as Ultraman Dyna, who gazed upon the kaiju. "Dyna...he saved Leah and Matsuda…" Mio muttered in gratefulness. Now all eyes now turned to both kaiju and titan.

Dyna and the kaiju, Daigelun, started to gaze at each other before the former got to his fighting stance. "So that's Dyna, huh?" Liam asked as his jet hovered above the ground. "Lian, cover me. I'll recover Leah!"
"Roger."
Putting himself between the onlookers and the kaiju, Dyna began to position himself before the carnivorous kaiju began to rush towards the giant. The giant returned the favor before they both collided, Dyna struggled to match its strength before the kaiju then smacked Dyna by the head, sending the titan backwards drowsily.
Shaking his head, Dyna recovered from the concussion as he quickly watched the kaiju screech and run towards him, the titan blocked and parried the slow blows the kaiju gave out. Uppercutting its head, the kaiju backpedaled, taking the opportunity, Dyna did a quick jump and did a bicycle kick at the kaiju's face. As he landed on the ground, Dyna was greeted by a jet stream of fire.
GWAH!

The titan quickly fell backwards as the kaiju halted its flame breath, Dyna was unable to fully get up, but saw that Liam had gotten Leah out of the EX-J, which was already an objective accomplished. Then Dyna turned to find the kaiju running towards him, as it tried to crush him under its weight, Dyna quickly folded his legs, both soles made contact with the belly of the kaiju as it tried to crush him, only for the legs to spring up.
(Play OST - Ultraman Dyna OST - Giant of Light Once Again)
Pushing the kaiju backwards, Dyna quickly got up before he crossed both arms for a Flash Cycler, firing it, he immediately scratched the kaiju's hide and made it bleed.
Now confident of his capabilities, Dyna slammed a fist onto the kaiju's head before uppercutting it, the kaiju soon growled before it lunged. The titan quickly dodged it before grabbing its tail as it fell, pulling it, he began to drag it towards a more open area to try and go for a more vacated area.
Dyna soon got pulled harshly as the kaiju's weight and force outmatched his own. Causing him to get pulled and fall to the ground. The kaiju soon got up and began to make its way towards where the jets were.
"Ah shit!" Setting up Leah in his jet, Liam couldn't seem to find a way to get Matsuda's supposed body to safety. "...Grrr, fuck! This is Liam, I'm evacuating the premises…" He shut his cockpit, looking at Dyna, he can only entrust Matsuda to him.
Dyna blocked a blow from Daigelun before kicking him away. As Dyna was about to continue his assault, a drain of energy occurred as his color timer began to blink.

Motohama had no way of getting to where the UFO was headed, that he stayed home and looked at the television. Out of the two, one of them is expected to land near Hamburg, a German port by the North. Germany had been the base of operations for a lot of TPC foundation organizations. It was also the one that had been funding the most on TPC Europa.
They tried to make TPC Europa, a European Defense Force that will help any European Forces. Which was why many staffs were German. However two UFOs had been sighted and one of them is expected to land upon Britain's city of Glasgow, Scotland. Which was where majority of the GUTS team had gone to exterminate, and with the thought of having the SS and SG being more than capable of taking them out.
Taking out his Esplender, he planned on transforming before remembering Gloria's words. Why was he transforming? What was he going to gain?
Then he could hear it.
The chirpings of the local birds, the peaceful wind blowing, the sound of a nearby river. All of these suddenly filled his ears. Was it because of nature?
No, it mustn't be only because of it.
"...Ultraman...doesn't only exist to protect nature. They're there...to protect everyone against foreign invaders! Gaia!" Then Motohama thrusted forth the Esplender towards the sky. The bright light engulfed him and soon enough, it flew out of the apartment he stayed in.
From Munich, a lot of people could see a bright light travelling through the morning sky. The light, it travelled at an amazing pace and speed as GUTS and TPC Radars could barely track it.
As it flew in the speeds of Mach 7, Aria was right behind the UFO as she had passed it when it came from the Eastern European airspace. The being was a living metal construct, meaning that it was akin to a robot which is sentient to an extent.
"Now I got you in my sights!" Aria spoke with a grin on her face. Opening fire, the organism suddenly jumped, and dodged the shots. "What the!? No way, that was way too fast to-! Gah!" A blast of red lasers shot from behind her, gashing the Snow White. "Damn it!" Getting her focus into the game, Aria quickly began to formulate her plan before another pair of lasers came out of the organism.
Said lasers were intercepted by a light arrow head. "Gaia?" Aria asked as she saw a light approaching and revealing itself as Gaia. The giant flew across the skies to pursue the invade and what ensued next was a high speed dogfight.
(Play OST - Ultraman Gaia OST - Mid-Air Fight)
Gaia fired off his light arrows, only for them to be dodged by the organism, the appearance however was far clearer, it was shaped non-aerodynamically, its rear was given holes that acted as jet boosters with a fair amount of light being emitted. The two pursuers began to open fire with what they got. The UFO simply went faster to what was Mach 7.5.
"Damn, it's agile." Aria muttered before Gaia separated and began to travel faster, Aria was soon beginning to fall behind. "I can't even use…"
At this point, she had to rely on Gaia to catch up and down the UFO. "This is Analytics, Aria?"
"...I'm...returning to Base, I will switch out to Crimson Dragon and support Ultraman." Aria muttered as she slowed her aircraft and began to make way back to the GUTS Base.
By Hamburg's sky, the massive metal organism fell onto the water of the port of Hamburg, scaring people as the fall caused a massive shockwave to form until Gaia landed in front of the port and placed his arms in a diagonal position, his left arm upwards and the other downwards, bringing them to an even horizontal position, he gathered what looked to be bubbles into his color timer before crossing his wrists in front of his chest and extended both arms to fire out a blast of blue light that quickly froze the upcoming shockwave and all around the port waters.
(End OST)
The ice began to fall apart as the running waves broke them into smaller pieces, Gaia can only nod in relief before a geyser erupted, taking Gaia's attention. Four metal pillars rose from the water to form what seemed to be a humanoid being, its form was akin to a man in a medieval armor, one beady yellow eye was apparent from the visor, on its chest sat a color timer, strikingly similar to the point that it looked like a copy of Gaia's.
HRAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMM!
The two humanoids began to eye each other as they both got into their fighting stance. Gaia mainly wished to not damage anything if possible, Munich was enough as he had seen for himself. Thus he began the attack first, the humanoid followed through, copying Gaia's fighting stance.
They both threw their fists, flashes occurred as their fists made contact, both of them were even on their fighting skills. Punch after punch, block after block, counter after counter. It was endless as the battle was looking like it was a stalemate between the two.
Gaia quickly rolled back as he realized the situation was at all not so good for him. Charging up his Quantum Stream, he quickly fired the blast, only for the humanoid to reduce itself into a liquid and drop into the water. Causing the beam to miss.
The beam thankfully didn't hit anything and it would lose energy to do any meaningful harm if it did connect with something. Aria in the GUTS Crimson Dragon floated around Hamburg. "Vincent, status?"
"Unbelievable...it is a metal organism, as I said, however its physiques is just incredible. It is capable of turning liquid and into solid in seconds. Considering everything, I believe that its entire body is made of nano machine-like metal."
"...So its a bot that could change forms?"
"Precisely."
"...Oh God, help us all." Gaia looked confused before four pillars shot out below him, geysers of dirt rose, Gaia quickly backed away, but one of the spears tried to impale him, Gaia quickly threw his shield up, and caused the object to bounce off. The three others followed suit, only to be blocked by the barrier before uniting into the humanoid.
It seemed like it was chuckling as its head was moving erratically. Then suddenly, it formed platings, all of them placed in strategic locations of its upper arm joints, and its lower hips. Gaia flinched at the startling development as he then assumed his stance once more, unnerved by what he saw.
The armored giant then began to run towards the titan, Gaia did the same. However as they both struck each other, Gaia was slowly losing in the department of stamina as the armor had begun to hurt his arms and legs. Backtracking, Gaia made sure that he was in a safe distance before he began to charge another Quantum Stream, only for the metal organism to form a prong fork-like spear before throwing it towards the titan, it hit Gaia by his neck before the force continued on and caused Gaia to land on the side of a building.
The being began to chuckle and nod in satisfaction. Gaia was not making any good progress, and furthermore.
TITUNG! TITUNG!
His color timer's blinking.
HRAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUM!
"This is a coordinated assault…" Victoria muttered as the metal organism was flying towards British soil, before landing upon an uninhabited land. The crash caused barely any destruction, but only that the land shook harshly. "Unbelievable…"
"So they are able to communicate and form plans with each other."
"But why did a kaiju woke up on US soil?"
"It is obvious. It is searching for food. Or rather hunting for them."
"So it is trying to survive…"
"However, for survival or not, we may not let a kaiju kill our people. As like ants, any intruders to our peace are our enemies." The organism formed itself into a tall organism, similar to that of a knight in shining armor.
A golden glowing slit on its helmet appeared to be its equivalent of an eye, the being bellowed as it began to move towards a facility. "They're...targeting facilities…"
"That's bad! That's the Nuclear Facility of Glasgow! To destroy that would mean to subjugate Glasgow into a Nuclear Fallout that could spread to the entirety of Britain due to its sheer need of Radioactive Materials!" The Analytics barked out in panic. "Herr Victoria! Herr Adler! You must not let it trigger anything within the facility!"
"Easier said that done, but roger. All Fighters, form Formation 1-2, divert the being's attention to us." Victoria spoke as she flicked the switches to revert to Battle Mode. "All Fighters, begin your assault."
"So this facility is its aim, now is it?" Gloria watched as the massive knight on Glasgow was getting blasted by multiple aircrafts. However, it then suddenly formed its right hand into a cannon. Despite taking damage, it began to aim towards the facility. "...Che, as much as I don't want to overstep my boundaries. I can't afford to let you lay waste to Mother Earth."
(Play OST - Ultraman Gaia OST - Agul Advent)
Holding her right arm to the front of her, Gloria then brought her right arm to her chest, hand pointing upwards, where the Agulator was present by her wrist. Sticking to its upwards position, it then suddenly glowed before flipping 180°, the appendages above it split and opened to the side and casted a bright flash of light.
As the organism fired, many fighters looked panicked before a flash of blue light appeared and blocked the shot from impacting the facility. The light dimmed to reveal a kneeling Agul, with his arms folded, his head leaning downwards, his head then straightened before turning to the organism. The titan then stood up, before giving the alien a 'come at me' gesture.
The being took offense on his gesture before it began its assault, Agul simply began to walk towards his foe before evading a blow towards his face. The titan simply smacked the arm away as it missed his face before striking the being by its chest with his left hand, sending the organism backwards. Turning its gun arm into a blade, it tried to thrust and stab Agul, only for the Giant to take a step to the side and then pushed the being backwards.
Smashing both palms together, he formed his blade of light on his right hand before he swung it lazily, the metal organism can only shake in rage as it felt as its pride was being mocked at. Agul's minimalized stance simply just made fun of the organism's lack of discipline or actually deadly attacks.
Causing it to act out of line, Agul had made his fight much easier as the being had made itself predictable. "He's toying with the target…" Victoria muttered in awe as the organism was landing no hits other than at the light blade.
Agul then had enough before he backed away, the metal organism growled in rage before it tried to charge the titan, the moment it tried to slash, Agul made his move. A bright flash ignited and blinded every onlooker as Agul suddenly appeared behind the metal organism with his blade, before it suddenly glowed brightly, the blue giant then swung his blade, causing a light slash to form. The organism felt its body get sliced, however, the bright slash began to recover itself as it began regenerating.
The two gigantic beings looked at each other in a staring contest.

Tiga was thrown off to the side as the King Joe copy began to march towards him, even with Power Type, he was getting flung easily by the being. "Ddraig!"
"So you're in a bad spot, huh?" Ddraig can only speak. "...Che, it seems like a boost would be most useful for the time being."
(Play OST - Ultraman Tiga OST - Tiga Part 2)
BOOST!
Tiga felt his stamina intensify, while stuck in Twice Critical, he pounded his hands together. The King Joe copy didn't seem to realize that the tables had turned the moment the two unstoppable forces began to make their move. Tiga charged with his right hand reared back, engulfed in flames, while King Joe had his arms stuck in its iconic pose.
The moment Tiga threw his hand, and made contact.
King Joe immediately lost it, the moment they made contact, the contact area exploded with bright sparks coming out of it. However Tiga wasn't done as he kicked the robot to its more upright position, parts of its body were shattered and ruined.
"Hurry up! You can only maintain this for fifteen more seconds!" Tiga's color timer slowly began to speed up its frequency.
"I'm trying!" Tiga clenched both his hands before smashing apart the robot's limbs off, causing them to fall off before he cartwheeled backwards to gain some distance before he extended both his arms in a diagonal and downwards position and readied his Delacium Light Stream, as it was charged. Tiga then threw the ball of light towards the robot who barely recovered, the attack quickly landed upon the organic copy of King Joe.
(End OST)
As the light stream ended, Tiga relaxed his position before the robot began to disintegrate into bits of dust. Tiga's color timer began to hasten in frequency and pitch, his body quickly fell to his knee before he disappeared into thin air.
Dyna began to back away as Daigelun swung its tail, as he did so, the kaiju screeched before rushing towards him, Dyna quickly held out his arms to block before getting bashed head on and thrown backwards.
GWAH!
Landing on a building, Dyna tried to get up before seeing that Daigelun that diverted its attention towards the Jet Fighters can only do so much as the kaiju was not bothered by their missile barrage, rockets and tank shells didn't penetrate its hide. Every piece of modern equipment barely made a scratch.
Dyna, in a last ditch effort, gathered all his strength before crossing both arms together once more. His crystal glowed and shone through the night sky. "Is he planning to switch to his red form and force his way through?" Mio asked before the light died out to reveal Dyna in a different form, unlike the previous Strong Form, silver dominated his color scheme with blue taking Strong's silver patterns, the chest however saw a longer line that went down to his stomach with the color timer being in the center of his silver chest.
(Play OST - Ultraman Dyna OST - Miracle Theme)
"He changed colors…" Kirishima muttered out as Dyna soon ran and jumped, his movements were barely registered by anyone as he suddenly got in between the civilians and the kaiju. The kaiju began to inhale before firing a wave of fire towards the titan, however, Dyna came prepared as he suddenly held his hand up, a barrier blocked the breath of fire that was emitted.
Daigelun looked pissed as Dyna soon dissolved his barrier, then his figure began to look a bit fuzzy for the onlookers as when Daigelun made its charge, Dyna suddenly ran and blinked behind the kaiju. Glass windows cracked with the wind blowing harshly. "No way, did he just break the sound barrier by running?" Feng asked as he looked at the data.
The kaiju growled before it began inhaling, Dyna quickly folded his right hand, pointer and middle finger contracted, he extended his arm towards the kaiju. As everyone watched in confusion, many eyes widened as the kaiju suddenly began to float. The kaiju itself stopped its flame breath before it began to panic as he was being lifted upwards. "He's...using the Force?" Mark asked with a hint of awe.
Throwing the kaiju into the air, Daigelun breathed another stream of fire, adamant in beating the titan. Dyna summoned forth his barrier once more, then the fire began to turn as it touched the barrier, turning blue overtime. The stream then died out before Dyna raised his hand upwards, a glare of blue glinted before he backed his hand a bit and threw it forth, a stream of blue fire ran towards the kaiju. Upon touching, the kaiju froze before it exploded in a brutal fashion.
(End OST)
The onlookers watched as Dyna relaxed his figure, turning towards the flying jets then the people, he stared a bit before giving them a thumbs up. The people cheered at that as Dyna nodded and lowered his thumbs up, he then looked upwards at the sky before flying away into the dark sky.
"So turning blue, he was able to perform miracles…" Mio observed the flying figure as he soon disappeared within the clouds.
"Ahhhh, damn, I got knocked out again, didn't I?" Mio heard the voice of Matsuda. "I swear, I can't really get a day off without being knocked out, can I?"
"And you're going to fix the Alpha again, Matsuda!" Kirishima spoke out loudly in frustration. "Dumbass!"
"Haahhhhhhhh…" The teenager let out a long sigh. "And what did I miss?"
"Leah was evacuated when Dyna saved you both." Mio explained.
"Ah...wait...I was left behind?"
"Necessary casualty as they say."
"...You...You're joking, right?"
"Lesson for you to not be that dumb." Everyone in the COMMS could hear Matsuda cry out in frustration. "Heh, can your plane fly though?"
"...Uhhhhhh…"
"Do we need to get a tow plane here?"
"N-No! I can fix it myself!"
"Doubt."
"There should be a manual, right?"
"It's by the cabinet." The moment that was said, the sound of a cabinet being opened could be heard.
"Y-You're joking right? T-This is thick as hell!"
"It's a plane management and maintenance guide book, what did you expect?"
"Ehhhhhhhhhh!? THERE'S A PART TWO AND THREE!?"
"We're gonna be here for a while."
"Yep."
Gaia dodged a few strikes from the morphing being before parrying some blows. Backing away a bit, he quickly placed his hands into his Quantum Stream stance, charging it, the Crimson Dragon jet began to fire at the humanoid invader, covering the Guardian, before he fired his Stream.
The being froze as the stream impacted its body, staggering backwards as the stream of light ended, the being fell backwards into the water, causing a massive wave to follow through, however, the wave wasn't as threatening as before.
Some onlookers were splashed by the waves as they had been looking at the fight. Gaia fell to his knee before an activity occurred by where the humanoid being fell. A geyser rose up before the metallic being rose back up to its legs, Gaia had already exhausted too much of his reserves however.
The being began to slowly approach the fatigued ultra.
"...You're still not experienced enough, are you, Motohama?" Gloria spoke within Agul's mind, who kicked his metallic foe away from his effective range. Charging his Photon Crusher, the beam of blue light began to reach for the skies at incredible speeds.
"HaahhhhhhhhHHHH!" Agul's voice began to rise as the intensity of his beam attack stretched further before he backed a bit and leaned forwards towards where he felt the metallic being was. "DYAH!" The stream of light quickly cut through the city skylines, many onlookers saw the beam and how many buildings were nearly hit by it and some of them having parts of their building crushed or destroyed by the beam.
As Gaia's foe began to approach his location, he raised his transformed arm, ready to cut the titan of light in two, as it readied, a beam of light came through and smashed it from behind, Gaia, who was not anticipating this, shielded himself as the being detonated just in front of him. Onlookers shielded their eyes as the being detonated into thousands of pieces.
"Urk...T-That was…" Motohama panted as he saw where the being came from, the Ultra Eyes allowed him to see where it came from, and from the distance, he could see Agul, bent over, being by the British Isles, he sent a light beam that travelled at the possible speed of light.
"Consider it your lucky day." Gloria sighed within Agul's subconscious, before the giant then turned to his foe, his color timer began to blink as he wasted a considerable amount of energy from using the enhanced Photon Crusher. But that really didn't bother him as he got into his stance.
The metal being then began to morph. Its body began to take a blue hue, then the color black came to view with its form beginning to slim itself. Agul just looked interested as the being turned into his form. "A doppelganger. Interesting." Gloria spoke from within Agul's form. "However, can he keep up?" The fake Agul's difference was his purple tinted eyes, however that was supposedly not going to help him win against the original.
The five other interceptor crafts watched as the two Aguls stood against each other. The original made his first move as his doppelganger soon followed. The moment they got into range, they grappled each other by the shoulders, spinning around, the real Agul began to fall backwards and fell before throwing his faker backwards.
Immediately getting up, Agul quickly raised his hand to ready another Photon Crusher, the faker growled, its elephant-like trumpeting followed as it raised its arm, causing a stream of light to glow. Both Aguls began to charge their Photon Crushers before the fake fired his.
The original simply let his own Photon Crusher out when the faker's beam was a few meters before his face. The moment the two streams made contact, the original's Photon Crusher immediately overpowered the faker's with no contest or struggle.
It simply crushed the fake's stream before making its way to the faker, who was hit head on. The moment it made contact, the fake Agul immediately exploded into pieces. "...An imitation is always weaker than the original…" Gloria humphed with a slight bit of disgust.
The ultraman then looked at the sky before he flew away.
The day after the time of crisis had really shook the world as they had witnessed that the kaijus and alien beings were able to traverse and come out without so much of a warning.
"The reports have said that more than 500 lives were lost yesterday in the event of four monsters appearing, however, not more damage could be done as the Ultramen as the Japanese have called them had halted them and minimized the damage." There was the fact that many complained that the Ultramen didn't come sooner, but as seen by Hero Experts.
The argument of "you rather not have them come at all" really wasn't something to be overlooked as the kaijus might have destroyed and taken even more lives. Issei had watched the massive news screen reporting the findings. "Are you feeling good, Ise?" He jumped a bit as Vali came by his side. "Or are you still a bit shaken up?"
"N-Nah, I'm fine."
"Mhmm…you healed up faster compared to the last times."
"I think its like your theory said. That I gained the regeneration of Phoenix Tears." Issei flexed his hands and arms a bit. "It feels weird though."
"You'll get used to it." She jokingly punched his arm.
"R-Right…"
"Still, wanna go eat somewhere? My treat after your stunt yesterday."
"I mean, sure. I can't turn that down."
"Don't feel uneasy when ordering. It's on me." She grinned as Issei gave a weary smile.
"Alright...any place that caught your eyes? All I know are fast food restaurants."
"I know a good few that I did my research on, actually!" She chirped happily as Issei sighed in good nature. Vali was a quite cheerful girl outside of training and Devil business.
He felt his phone buzz a bit before he looked at the messages. "Issei, are you out with Vali?"
'Oh shit, here we go again.'
He simply typed. "Yea."
"Make sure that you propose to her one of these days, I want my grandbabies."
A simple wry smile got to his face as he responded. "...Aye, ma'am." Mothers and their grandbaby wishes.
He can't comprehend this kind of thing. "Ise! You coming!?"
"Ah yea!" Issei quickly looked up from his phone and at his partner in crime. "Alright, cya, mom." He typed before jogging towards the whitenette.
Matsuda was by his room, doing push ups before he felt his door open up. 'Fuck, I didn't close it?'
"Yo, Matsu-kun." He could hear the voice of Leah come through, his eyes widened slightly before he looked up mid-push up. "Ah, you're training. You know that there is a gym facility, right?"
"L-Leah-chan!" Matsuda quickly got up. "You-Why didn't you knock or ring first?"
"Haha, probably thinking about you locking me out again. So I wanted to take you by surprise." Leah smiled. "Hmm, you still need to work out more, huh?"
"W-Wait a minute!" He quickly took his towel and covered his sweat stained body. "I'm still-"
"Yeah yeah, take a moment, I'll be outside." She cut his sentence with a laugh. "Your onee-chan would help you out, if you need help with the clothes."
Matsuda's face flushed red from embarrassment. "J-Just go outside."
"Call me when you need anything." She soon closed the door to his room. Matsuda slumped down from the ordeal he had to go through.
"...That was...embarrassing…" Well, to be frank, Matsuda was dying inside, having his time interrupted by the chirpy woman. "Well...nothing I can do about that now." He quickly got his towel before wiping his body clean from his sweat. Getting to his slacks and his more casual uniform of a black tank top and an open top jacket, he got out of his room and into the doorway. "So what was that about, Leah-chan?"
"That's Leah-nee-chan to you, Matsu-kun." Leah pouted at the younger man. "But that aside...I just wanted to thank you about what you did yesterday…"
"...Couldn't it have been done when I am doing my exercise?"
"No, duh, you wouldn't have been concentrating on what I was saying, just like when I talked to my brother when he was doing the same as you. You're both meatheads."
"Pfft." Leah didn't hide her grin, as Matsuda was about to choke on air.
"But that aside, if you need anything, you can call me any time." Leah smiled at him. "Whatever you need, I'll see if I can help."
"..."
"...What's with the awkwardness?"
"Ah, sorry, you see...I don't know how to respond."
"Such a dumbass…" Leah mumbled to herself. "Just talk to me like you would to a friend." She gave him a wink. "I'm always here for you. Right, now, I have to work on the communications and repair anything tech related for the next few weeks. But I think I have time for you, right, see you then!"
"Y-Yeah, see ya." 'Odd girl,' was what he said in his mind as he watched her skip along.
Motohama was completely lost as he looked outside the window, the city of Hamburg had been saved from destruction the moment Gaia stepped into the fray and caused the being to fall into the sea. Damages would only include minor ship damages, mainly from the rough waves. Now, Aria and Vincent had been employed fully as staffs for GUTS Europa.
So basically, for the time being, the entire place was given to Motohama himself to enjoy. A knock on the door resounded, Motohama quickly turned to the door, a look of confusion strapped on his face. As far as he knew, there wasn't supposed to be-
Ka-chink-
"So you really are hesitant about opening the door, huh? Not that I blame you." Gloria's voice echoed through the door as the door opened to reveal her in a fairly formal uniform, more fitting for a man than a woman's.
"Gloria."
"So yesterday's incident was a bit unfortunate if I hadn't helped you." She spoke, speaking of the incident as if it was not a big deal in itself.
"That was…"
"Clearly you should be a bit more careful on energy consumption." The woman shrugged. "You're but a newbie, so I can't blame you. Your power…? Questionable, honestly speaking." Gloria spoke as she took a chair and sat on it.
"Now hold on, why are you allowing yourself into my-"
"It's your cousin's, is it not?"
"...But still, I didn't allow you to enter. Nor did my cousin allowed you."
"Hmmm, fair enough. I will be quick however." Gloria placed a hand by the side of her head. "Those UFOs that you encountered were the first probing attack of them."
"Them?"
"We call them the Radical Destruction Bringer. Only few people know of this entity…" Gloria simply took out a phone before swiping across it, tiddling with it. "The Supercomputer, CRISIS, is indeed made for this operation of clairvoyance, and to predict when they will make their landfall."
"And it predicted…"
"It did its job." Gloria looked at the boy.
"...Yeah, it did…" Motohama looked skeptically at her. "...And...thank you for yesterday."
"It is no problem." Gloria shrugged. "It would be counterproductive to not help an ally...or rather an acquaintance, I suppose."
"...Right." Motohama sighed.
"Either way, continue your work, we'll meet again soon." Gloria opened the door before closing it behind her. Motohama simply sighed as he looked at the sun rising. "...So what now? With the power I have…?" He looked at the Esplendor. The light of Gaia flashed before his eyes. "That's right...a power to be used...for good…"
That's the end for Gaia, honestly, I was thinking of posting this a few days ago, but then again, I got too lazy...as per usual. Sorry for having you guys wait this long, life took a toll, but eh, it always does. So I can't really make that my excuse every time it happens. So yeah. Gaia has been done, Arc 1 - Prophecy of Three is done, now time to get to the second Arc, which is Issei's Arc. The Supernatural Arc.
Stay tune for that!
