There was roaring out of nowhere in the city of Bugdom. There were many screaming.

"HELP!" A mosquito yelled.

"A RHINOCEROS BEETLE!" A wasp shouted.

"Run!" the cockroach screamed.

The bugs were running around the whole city of Bugdom, while P.T. Flea has locked an untamed male rhinoceros beetle in a cage. The other circus bugs, Rosie, Manny, Gypsy, Slim, Francis, Heimlich, Tuck and Roll were scared, as they stood back out of the tent.

"Stay still, you big bad beetle!" P.T. yelled as he slapped the whip in the air at him, which caused the rhino beetle to roar out loud.

Gypsy gasped and yelped as she embraced herself into Manny's body. Manny hugged her in comfort with fear as he shuddered. Tuck and Roll screamed at the top of their unfair. Francis, Slim and Heimlich did the same.

"P.T., stop!" Rosie cried with less tears,

"He's hurt badly!"

"Well, Rosie, that rhino beetle is trying to kill us! Deal with it!" P.T. urged.

He kept whipping at the rhino beetle, calling him a 'stupid beetle' and telling him to back off and away.

"P.T. FLEA, PLEASE STOP IT!" Rosie shrieked tearfully.

The bugs stopped screaming, and stayed still, watching the rhino beetle with fear, shuddering. The circus troupe did the same.

"Let him go," Rosie said, trying to hold back tears.

P.T. stared her for a moment with disbelief, and suddenly opened the cage, while the injured rhino beetle was shuddering, whimpering in pain. Rosie went close to the cage, and said,

"Hey, it's okay. I won't hurt you."

The rhino beetle shyly but surely walked out of the cage, and snarled a little, as if he was going to roar and attack her, but Rosie managed to take care of him.

"Easy! Easy, it'll be okay. I know how much we were scared, but I need to help you." she said.

The rhino beetle stopped snarling. He went over to Rosie and gave her a small nudge. She petted him on his horn, smiling a little. The rhino beetle closed his eyes while he was blushing. Rosie conjured some spider web and used them to help heal the rhino beetle's sick injuries and less-bleeding wounds.

"What a good boy," Rosie whispered, while smoothing his cheeks. She continued, my name is Rosie. What's your name?"

The rhino beetle blushed, but he didn't answer. Rosie felt confused at that moment, as if she knew he can't talk a lot. The bugs stared, and murmured to each other. The circus troupe stayed still, confused. P.T. felt the same.

The female beetle-owner katydid named Heather chimed in and said,

"The beetle couldn't say it, but anyway, his name is Dim."

Rosie nodded and thanked Heather, who nodded and stepped back into the crowd.

Rosie turned back to Dim, and she said with a smile,

"Everything's going to be okay, Dim."

Then, Rosie placed her hand on his horn for the last time. Dim blushed again, smiling, and nuzzled her, as if he was tamed.

The circus troupe looked in awe. P.T. couldn't believe it; Rosie was Dim's tamer! He smiled a little, trying to wipe his tears. The rest of the people in the city of Bugdom watched in awe, which is a touchy moment, and then they left.

As nighttime approaches, the circus bugs went in their homes for bed to sleep. P.T. gives Dim a place to sleep in Rosie's house. Rosie thanked her boss, and led Dim inside her house.

Rosie reassured Dim, because he was very shy, and told him that it will be okay. Dim nodded, and he laid in bed with Rosie. The two were asleep.

One day...

Rosie was sleeping peacefully, and slowly, she woke up. Her eyes were staring at the window in which the sun shone.

Smiling, she turned, and spots Dim, who was still asleep, with his legs around Rosie's body. He was breathing steadily, with moans. Smiling, Rosie took his feet back on bed, and walked out to get herself cleaned, by brushing and combing her hair, and putting makeup on her face.

Then, she went to the kitchen and cooked breakfast. After that, Rosie scuttled back to her room, and approach to the bedside. She smiled while leaning down, and started petting him on the horn compassionately. Slowly, Dim yawned silently, and rubbed his eyes.

"Good morning, Dim! Did you sleep well?" Rosie asked.

Dim blushed, and nodded his head shyly. She smiled, and kissed him on the horn. In reaction, he blushed red again.

"Anyway, let's go to Bennett's Bar. Our friends told us last night that they are here this morning," Rosie said.

Nodding his head again, Dim felt shyness and a bit of trauma inside of him, but he tried to control it. Surely, he and Rosie walked out together.

Later...

After their morning routine, Rosie and Dim went over to Bennett's Bar restaurant.

"We're here!" Rosie said.

Dim was shaking with nervousness, but she reassured him.

"Dim, it's okay! Everyone is gonna know that I tamed you. We'll take this slowly," Rosie added.

Dim shyly but surely nodded in agreement. Then, he and Rosie walked in.

Manny, Gypsy, Slim, Francis, Heimlich, Tuck and Roll spot Rosie and Dim going to their table.

"Hello, everyone!" Rosie called as she waved.

"Hello, Rosie!" the circus troupe called back.

"So, Rosie, my dear, we did hear that you tamed this beetle, right?" Manny demanded.

"Sure I did, Manny. And the beetle-owner told me that his name is Dim," Rosie said.

"Poor fellow, he usually doesn't talk too much," Slim chimed in.

"Well said, but we are glad he is helped from getting hurt, just like in that terrible animal abuse," Gypsy agreed.

"Ja! That was very kind of you, Rosie!" Heimlich said.

"Sweetest thing we've ever seen so far, lady," Francis added.

Smiling with tears, Rosie said,

"Thank you, everyone! He means so much to me," Rosie said.

"You're welcome!" the other circus bugs said in unison.

"All right, Dim. Try saying your name," Rosie said as she faced Dim and held his foot, smoothing it in comfort.

Dim blushed shyly, as if it was his first time to talk.

"Dim, it'll be fine. Here, spell your name: D-I-M. And say your name in a word form," Rosie said.

Dim nodded, willing to try and go ahead. He took a deep breath, and told the circus troupe,

"D-I-M; My name's... Dim."

The circus troupe gasped, and squealed happily.

"Wow! Dim just said his first word and sentence!" Gypsy squealed sweetly.

"How lovely! Now Dim is learning brightly, indeed," Manny agreed with a smile.

In reaction, Tuck and Roll cheered and clapped at that moment.

"Wow, look at that!" Francis marveled.

"That's what I was gonna hear. Dim should join and be one of us!" Slim said in agreement.

"Oh, my GOSH, I love how he is taught while tamed neatly thanks to Rosie!" Heimlich chimed in excitedly.

Rosie smiled, and reassured Dim by petting him. Blushing, Dim said his another sentence,

"Thanks, everyone."

He turned to Rosie and continued,

"Even you, Rosie."

Smiling tearfully, she responded,

"You're very welcome, Dim, you bright beetle."

Then, Rosie kissed him on the horn. Dim blushed, and nuzzled her lovingly. The rest of the circus troupe watched in awe. They'd love it when Dim just said his first words and sentences, which made Rosie knew he had a childish nature, but she wants to be a good friend of his.
