A/N: Hello, happy December. Hope you are all doing well. Once again, I am sorry for the delays between these chapters but my school life is a bit full-on right now. Anyhow, I hope you like this chapter- it took a different direction from what I was expecting and it answers the question as to whether the rest of the team know about Robert and Andy or not. Enjoy x

"So, who's excited to come home?" Vic sang as she walked into Andy's hospital room.

Andy stopped packing away her things as her friends walked into the room and her eyes immediately fell onto Maya. It had been a little over 24 hours since they were last there and, after a gruelling shift, Maya looked like she hadn't slept in a week. Her hair was slightly damp from showering a few hours earlier and the lack of makeup showed off the bags under her eyes.

"Someone looks excited to sleep." Andy quipped.

"You can say that again." Maya retorted.

"Bad shift?"

"Five-alarm fire at a research facility took seven hours to put out. Then it was back to back calls for the rest of the shift. Seattle was not stopping at all." Vic explained as she took a seat on the chair in the corner of the room. She lifted the shirt off the chair and out of the corner of her eye, she caught a glimpse of the name tag: Batt. Ch. Sullivan. "You know, I haven't seen Chief Sullivan in the station recently. Any idea where he's been?"

Andy froze. She knew exactly what Vic was referring to. Robert had stopped off at the hospital before his shift started for the day, and feeling restricted in his work shirt, he removed it before visiting his daughter.

"Andy?" Maya questioned, not understanding why Vic was bringing up their Chief's whereabouts.

"Robert's been here, with me… and his daughter, Valentina." Andy admitted.

"Sullivan is your baby daddy?!" Vic exclaimed, sitting in an upright position on the chair to hear the full story.

"Don't call him that. But yes."

"Wait, when did this all happen? I mean, obviously nine months ago but what? How am I just finding out about this now?" Maya asked, looking more awake compared to a few minutes' prior.

"We didn't plan this. Heck, it was a drunken hook-up between friends who were grieving. We only got together a few months ago."

"Grieving? Wait, you mean to tell me this happened after Ripley?" Vic spoke.

"Yes."

"Herrera! Who knew you had it in you?" Maya exclaimed. For as long as she had known Andy, she was a rule follower so the thought that she was now in a relationship with her superior was unimaginable to Maya.

"Does Cap know?" Vic questioned.

"Yes. Turns out, when you have his grandchild, he wants to know the full family history of the parentage. And before you ask, he didn't take it well. But he's doing better now the shock has worn off." Andy explained.

"There's so much to take in here." Maya retorted.

As the excitement of finding out about Andy's secret relationship died down, Robert walked back into the room.

"She's…" Robert immediately stopped speaking upon seeing who was in the room.

"Robert, it's okay. They know; I've just told them." Andy announced, noticing the shock on his face.

"Right, okay. Well, I'll just grab this and leave you to it." He replied, picking up the shirt that Vic has placed on the table earlier.

Once he had left the room, the three friends burst into laughter. It wasn't the first time he had walked in on them when they were discussing his life and they were certain that it wasn't going to be the last.

"I can't believe you've slept with THAT!" Vic stated.

"More than once." Andy quietly added.

"ANDY!" Maya and Vic shouted simultaneously.

"Well, when he's that good and your hormones are all over the place, how are you supposed to ignore it?" Andy smirked.

"Well, well, well. That man had truly made you, hasn't he?" Maya asked. Throughout their friendship, they had seen each other through various relationships but Maya was beginning to see that Robert was truly the one for Andy.

"Well, if Valle isn't a symbol of our love, then I don't know what is." Andy spoke.

"How is she?"

"Stable. If her levels stay where they are then Doctor Hayes wants to perform her surgery as early as next week. I'm just feeling a little deflated because I'm supposed to be going home with a new-born but I'm leaving her here."

"But she's here, Andy. That's the main thing. You'll get to take her home soon." Vic declared.

Andy nodded as she continued to pack away her last few items. Once everything was packed, Maya and Vic helped carry Andy's bags down to the car and took her back home. They ended up going back to Maya's apartment as Andy wasn't prepared to go back to hers and Robert's house, where she was supposed to be bringing her baby home. She knew Valentina was in the best place possible but leaving her still hurt. So, a night at Maya's was needed.

A/N (again): Sorry, for the short chapter but the next part would be too long if I added it onto this one. I'll update as soon as I can. Don't be afraid to let me know your thoughts x
