Chapter 22
This is going to be a short chapter for the most part, sorry but please enjoy. I don't own gacha world.
Sora POV
I was sitting atop the weird rainbow street above the clouds, my sword across my lap. Ellie was still trying to grasp the situation involving me being corrupted, and Shu was just wandering around.
"Ellie…" I stood up and put the gacha sword away, my heart was heavy but this was something I needed to do. "You need to know that I won't stop at anything to rid the worlds of corruption, even if it kills me I will still get rid of it. I don't know what it means to be corrupted but if it's as bad as you're reacting then I think it's best that we go our separate paths."
"No…" her tiny voice made my heart stop… "Sora… you don't understand… the corruption… it brings out the worst in people, it makes them something they aren't… into animals! And you're just fine with it?!" the Fairy was yelling now, tears were rolling down her red cheeks.
"I'm still going to continue this quest, I have accepted that my life is probably over and now it's time for you to accept-"
"NO! I don't accept it! I reject you accepting!" Ellie stomped her foot in protest… Why was she acting like this? "No matter what you do or where you go I will continue to follow you Sora!" a tired smile grew on my face and I nodded slowly.
"Alright then… but promise me that if I become like the monsters that you will kill me… alright?" Ellie hiccuped and nodded slowly. "Ok, we better get going now" Shu slimed over and wrapped her arms/tentacles around both of us.
"Let's do this together!" Shu smiled and we all started down the road, whatever laid before us would have to deal with all three of us. No matter how much blood I shed… I would always be there for Ellie… Shu… and my sister… I would protect them all…
However on another world
"Is everything in accordance with the book of light?"
"Yes… the new angel has shown their true colors…"
"What is the word of the saint?"
"She has told us not to interfere… however I believe the devil has clouded her judgement… the ankareeda! How dare she!"
"Never speak that name!... we both know whose fault it is for clouding the saints judgement… send forth some scouts to watch the demoness"
"Yes… mistress…"
"If all goes as planned… then the church of the creator shall continue to rise in power until it spans all worlds… let us go… it is almost evening prayer time…"
"Yes mistress…"
