Hey guys! I just thought I'd share a random head cannon I have. It doesn't pertain to the story. But I have a theory that Ninjago and Nexo Knights don't take place in different realms, but different time periods. Like, Nexo Knights is set one hundred years in the future. And, adding on to my theory, I think Clay is the great great grandson of Jay and Nya. I have a bit of proof. I also think Fletcher is Clay's brother. I mean, if you read the book, it couldn't be more obvious. That said, if you've read the book (Skip ahead if you haven't, or else you're in for spoilers! I repeat, SPOILERS AHEAD!) Fletcher has sort of electric powers. From Ninjago, we've learned that elemental powers are hereditary, so, if Fletcher is Clay's brother, then I think they're related to Jay. But I think the powers skipped Clay, since they can also skip a generation. But Wanda has the powers too, which makes me think. I propose to you that some time between Clay and Jay, their family somehow learned magic. So Merlok and Clay have magic, Ruina has magic and lightning, and Fletcher just has lightning. And that is my head cannon for their family dynamic. And I think to add to that, we've seen the ninja travel between several realms, even Chima, but never Knighton. Which is more evidence that Knighton and Ninjago are, in fact, the same place. So that's my thought. Tell me what you think. And we can build on it. I might even write a story about it. Thanks!
