Okay people! Welcome to Day 27: On one of their birthdays.

Lincoln and his older sisters: Leni, Luan and Luna were visiting Great Lakes City. Benny was there with them because it was his birthday.

"So Benny," Luan said. "How does it feel turning 15 today?"

"It's awesome," Benny said. "Thanks for the popcorn Casagrandes".

"Anything for the birthday boy," Rosa Casagrande said.

"So, what's next for Benny on his birthday?"

Luan answered, "to me, it doesn't really matter. Whatever Benny says we do, we do. He's the one leading us".

Benny then suggested, "Well, Luna did say there's an entertainment district disguised as 125th street. Let's go there".

Since it was Benny's birthday, everyone had to go with what he said.

"125th Street it is," Carlota said.

Benny added, "and let's take the subway instead of wasting gasoline with the family vans".

They were all in agreement.

"It is a lovely day," Rita Loud said.

With that, they strolled off to the subway. Benny suggested they keep the birthday party hats on.

The second they got on the train, a DJ said out loud, "step on up! Who wants to pick a jam to keep the party going?"

Leni asked, "subway dance parties?"

Benny then said, "I'll go turn one on".

He then asked the DJ to turn on "Groove Is In the Heart" by Dee Lite. Everyone on board was dancing the afternoon away. They were having a fun time. They stayed on the party train until arriving at 125th street.

There, the gang exited the subway. The place Benny wanted to visit for his birthday was 2 blocks over.

Lori commented, "Oh yeah. Benny, what movie did you say you wanted to see?"

Benny answered, "Mystery Nighters. I heard about trailers for it. This movie is a big screen marriage of Scooby Doo and Phoebe Powers".

"No way," Lincoln said.

"I love Phoebe Powers," Ronnie said. "She one time showed up at our apartment masquerading as a food critic".

"What?" Most of the others asked in shock.

None of them could believe it.

Frida Puga commented, "well, I got the tickets. Let's go!"

They all went inside. Their seats were in theater 118. At the concession stand, the worker there asked what they wanted.

"The birthday boy goes first," Luna said.

"Well," the worker said. "Birthday kids get something special."

The worker handed him 2 buckets of popcorn and 2 blueberry flavored sodas. Benny gave one of each to Luan. After getting what they wanted to eat, they went off to see the movie. 80 minutes later, they strolled out of the theater.

"That was one of the best movies I've ever seen," CJ said.

"I know," Rita commented. "That Phoebe Powers knows how to kick some tail".

Luan then asked, "So Benny, what else do you wanna do?"

He then saw a few people heading 2 blocks to the east.

"Let's go see what they're doing," Benny said.

2 blocks over, one of the people backstage said, "there you are, Luan".

Luan commented, "oh yeah. I promised Benny a birthday comedy show. This comedy club is the perfect place".

Little did they know that Benny, Carl, Carlota and Luna were going on stage with Luan. 30 minutes later, the 5 of them were on stage.

Luan started by saying, "before we begin, Thanks for coming out tonight. Plus, a special treat. Today is my friend, Benny's birthday".

Everyone who was at the club wished Benny a happy birthday.

"Thank you," Benny said.

The 5 of them continued on with their little made up routine. "I can tell you like the styles we have today,"

Carlota said. "You know, sometimes, I always get really frustrated trying to put clothes in my wardrobe. Think I could do with some Hanger Management".

Laughter busted out.

"Totes yeah," Leni said. "That dress would look great on my bedroom floor!"

Benny then asked, "hey, What do you call a jacket that's on fire?"

Carl answered, "A blazer"!

More laughter came out.

Benny then said, "next up, Luan is singing a silly song. Carl? Music please".

"You got it," Carl said.

He turned on Pinkie Pie's single, "Coinky Dink World", for Luan to sing. The song alone brought out even more laughter from the audience. A few giggles came from those on stage as well.

However, it was only a matter of seconds before everyone was dancing. When the song ended, everyone was laughing.

"Now I see why you would sing it, Luan," Luna said. "That song is so you".

The laughter just took over the whole club. When the performance ended, they left the club.

Back at the Casagrandes' apartment, the gang finished enjoying pizza and cherry soda.

"This has to be the funniest birthday we ever gave Benny," Luan said.

"You're telling me," Luna said. "You guys sure had some moves on that train".

Benny then asked, "who said the dancing has to stop?"

Leni commented, "it is Benny's birthday. Okay Benny, what jam you turning on this time?"

He turned on "Blame It On the Boogie" by The Jackson 5.

"Alright," CJ said. "Let's get grooving!"

With that, Benny's birthday party turned into a dance party none of them would ever forget.

"Happy Birthday, Benny," they all said to him.

"Thanks guys," Benny said. "This is the best birthday ever".

I bet it was.
