Bella's POV
Sweat dripped down my forehead as the entrance to the village was in sight. My team and I were returning from a mission that was located outside of the village. It was blazing outside. The sun was beaming down onto my head. My vision was getting blurry and I was losing the urge to move my legs any further. "Bella?" I was able to regain my vision to see that one of my teammates was looking at me with a concerned look on her face. It was my teammate Maya. "Are you good there? We are nearing the entrance to the village." Soon I saw that my other teammate, Mia, had also noticed the two of us behind her had stopped walking. "We are so close to the village, come on Bella, we can go and get some ramen to make you feel better!"
I felt ashamed that they had stopped to check on me, but it was expected. I had known these two ever since we had enrolled in the Ninja Academy located in The Village Hidden in the Leaf. On the first day, Maya had fallen and hit her head in the classroom, me and Mia were the first to try to help her. Ever since then, we were inseparable. Maya belonged to the Hyuga Clan. She's apart of the main branch and is the sister of another student in our class, Hinata Hyuga. Since Maya is a Hyuga, she has her very own Byakugan, though she is not very good at using it. Because of this, Maya mainly focuses her skills in Taijutsu, but she's still pretty clumsy and not very intelligent, especially when it comes to chakra and hand signs.
Our other teammate, Mia, is a Senju. Since she's Senju, Mia was granted a huge amount of chakra and has great charka control. Not only that, but her chakra natures consist of lighting and fire, which she has great control of. Even if that's the case, when it comes to fighting, Mia doesn't always have the best strategies. A lot of the citizens in Konoha see a great amount of potential in her and I can understand why. She is the daughter of the current Hokage after all. Lady Tsunade, Hokage, and one of the Three Legendary Sannin. Sadly, Mia has never met her father before and holds a great amount of resentment against him. One of Lady Tsunade's close friends, and another member of the Legendary Sannin, Jiraya, is more of a father figure to her, as they are very close.
Next comes our Sensei; Konoha's Yellow Flash, Minato Namikaze. Before our team, he had also trained another genin team, one of them even training the current Team 7. Minato Sensei is what I would want to be if I was leading a team. He is very strong, smart, and handsome. His wife Kushina is more than lucky to have him and she knows it. But I'm more than happy to have him as my sensei and so are my teammates.
I guess that leaves me, Isabella. I am, well I WAS, apart of the Uchiha clan. My clan was slaughtered years ago by Itachi Uchiha. You wouldn't be able to tell that I was an Uchiha though. I have short, light brown wavy hair and green eyes, and I'm pretty pale. I guess I got most of my looks from my mother. Because I'm an Uchiha, I have access to the Sharingan. Not only that but I'm able to use wind, earth, and fire chakra natures. I primarily use earth though, as its the easiest for me to control. Most people feel pity for me because of my clan being slaughtered, but for some reason, it never bothered me. I know its something I should be sad, or angry about but... it never caused me any emotion. I try to avoid the thought of it as much as I can though.
"Come on Bella lets go!" I snap back to reality as I see Mia, who seems pretty pissed off. Probably because she wants to hurry to the village as soon as possible so she could eat. She sure loved Ichiraku Ramen. "Now Mia, let Bella take her time, it is pretty hot out!" The voice came from Minato Sensei. He nervously laughed, and an awkward smile grew on his face while he shook his hands.
We gradually made it to the entrance of the Village. Minato Sensei went off to report to Lady Tsunade, while Mia, Maya, and I hurried off to Irichiraku Ramen Shop. It felt nice to sit down and enjoy some ramen after a mission. Not to mention that the shade made me feel a lot better, as it wasn't as hot when as when I was standing in the scorching sun.
"Man I wish we could go off and do an actual mission for once. I want to go into an actual fight." I said while sitting down in my seat. "Yeah, I want to see some action instead of having to do boring D-rank missions all the time," said Mia while she was looking at what to order. Maya pitched in "I would love to show you guys what I'm fully capable of! I've been getting a lot better at my taijutsu lately." Mia and I snorted at her. Yeah, Maya was good at taijutsu, way better than me and Mia actually, but she wasn't always the smartest, as she wouldn't keep her eyes on her opponent, and would later end up with a black eye and a big bump on her head. "I think we're ready to finally go on a real mission, I just wish Minato Sensei would realize that." I wish he did. We had been on a team together for almost a year now, and doing boring missions all the time dragged us down mentally. "Are you ladies ready to order?" Old Man Teuchi smiled as he asked. We gave him our orders and waited.
A week later...
Our team had been called to Lady Tsunade's office. She was giving us another mission. I bet this is going to be another boring D-rank. "I've called you all here today to give you some important information." Lady Tsunade had said in a stern voice. She could be very intimidating sometimes, it freaked me out a bit, but that's what I liked about her. "Tomorrow you will be heading off on a B-rank mission"
"What?!" Me, Mia, and Maya and yelled all in unison. We were in total disbelief.
