Chapter Two

My eyes widened and my eyebrows perked up in synchronization to the words that my Mother, or the 5th Hokage most say, just informed me and my team. In my opinion, it isn't all rainbows and unicorns for having your mother, and great grandfathers be hokage.

It has it's pros and cons. Always get recognition, pretty popular, dont have much chores or things like that since my Mother barely has time for me. I get lots of time to train, and get away with a lot of my schemes. Although, I do wish I could spend more time with her. After all, I don't have a father. Closest thing to one I have is Jiraiya.

Jiraiya is my Mothers close friend, and hes apart of the legendary sannin aswell. I see him as something as close to a father as I'll ever get.

Snapping back into reality from my previous land of thoughts, I laughed nervously while scratching the back of my medium-length black locs. My hair was down right now, which was definitely a sigh to see. My tight scrunchie was surely pulling my hair out strand by strand, and made my forehead appear 10x bigger than I needed it to, so I ditched my signature ponytail that looked exactly like Kushina's, my sensei's wife.

Getting back to the point, which I almost forgot about, I asked my Mother the longing question that I needed an urgent answer to. "Repeat that for me, Mama." I said with obvious curiosity in my voice. I tilted my head slightly to the side, reminiscing a curious dog.

B-mission? Was she serious..Wait damn, Mama has never been one to joke. SO WE ARE GOING ON A B-MISSION.. Oh no, what if we arent ready? What if Bella and Maya get hurt? My medical nin-jutsu isn't too good. What if Minato-sensei looses us? What if-

I stopped my inner-self flooding myself with questions. I knew better, think on the positive side, this is a good thing, well it can be at least. We can finally prove to Minato-Sensei and Mama that we should be promoted to Chunin.

DAMN! Those chunin exams were a hot mess last month. No way I'm taking those again, but I cant stay genin forever.. I inwardly sighed, as I decided it would be a good time to arrive back to reality.

As I drifted away from my thoughts, and back into the real world, I nearly forgot why I was here in the first place, I desperately need to get home, I can smell an oder starting, and I'm pretty sure Maya is on that time of the month, because shes oddly quiet, and Bella is just as ready to go as I am. And for Minato-sensei? Pretty sure he just wanted to get back to his wife and son too.

My Mother looked at me with her signature annoyed look. She shook her head as she prepared to speak. "I said.." She half stated, as her voice trailed off into the room.

"You're all being sent on a B-ranked mission tomorrow." She said while getting our mission scroll ready. SHE SAID IT SO BLUNTLY, I thought. Other than that, I was lost at thoughts and words for this situation, even though I already knew the outcome, I just couldn't get over the fact that my team is going on a B-ranked mission!

I looked behind me to my see my other teammates. I examined there expressions to the information we were just given. Of course Minato-sensei just had is normal serious expression. This is nothing new to a former hokage and a jonin. Bella looked like she was in the process of deciding to bounce off the walls or to cuddle with her pillow and cry. And for myself, this situation is just so stressing so I'll just take the joy of simply passing out.

"WHAT? LADY TSUNADE ARE YOU SERIOUS?" Bella blurted out, which I wasn't surprised by. I snorted in amusement at her actions and she shot me a glare. Love how bipolar she is. She went from confused, excited, happy, scared, angry, and the cycle just repeats as we speak.

"When have you ever known my Mother to joke?" I said while crossing my arms across my chest and giving her the same glare right back. I heard my Mother chuckle a little in the back, which both got us off the argument. For now, that is.

"Yes girls, your going on a B-ranked mission" She looked up from the scroll she was reading and smiled. "Pfft, Minato-Sensei is a girl now!" Maya teased, while we all turned and looked towards him. He at first made an 'o' shape with his mouth, then looked down and shook his head in defeat, which all caused us to laugh.

"Oh just wait until I tell Kushina-san!" Bella said in a mimicking voice, I playfully hit her on her shoulder and she let out a small giggle. "God" Our sensei said and sighed after. "Imagine what Naruto-kun would say if Minato-sensei did a sexy jutsu" I said, laughing between my words at the sentence. Minato hated Naruto and his "sexy jutsu" so he face palmed, while everyone else laughed.

"Actually, Team 7 is accompanying you on this mission!" Mother said which bought all the attention to her, hm so thats why she had two scrolls, one for Minato-sensei and one for Kakashi-sensei. Actually, we wont die on this mission! Me, Bella, and Maya are good friends with all of Team 7, like bestfriends since the academy. We even get Sasuke to talk! Just imagine how close we are.

"Yay!" I said while jumping up and down.

"YESS! So we wont die confirmed!" Bella yelled, which literally cracked my eardrums. She began running around Lady Tsunade's office, doing random handsigns, and looked like she was about to preform a forbidden jutsu.

"Amazing! Now more people can see my taijutsu skills! And maybe I can used my medical nin-jutsu for the first time!" Maya said while she ran around the room, attempting to walking up random walls and miserably failing, but Minato-sensei was there to catch her.

Since all of my team were acting like rats let out of a cage, I just decided to join them. I went and danced on the ceiling.

"Girls, settle down, you wont have enough energy for this mission." Minato-sensei stated. Good point, we sure were wasting a lot of it right now. I got down from the ceiling, Bella stopped running out like a crazy person, and Maya gave up on trying to use her chakra to climb up walls.

"Here you go Minato, meet Team 7 at the entrance of the leaf with your genin's at 8AM sharp." Lady Tsunade told my sensei. She handed him a purple scroll. "Bye girls." My Mother waved at us, then got back to her work.

"Bye Mama!" I said cheerfully.

"Bye Lady Tsunade!" Maya, Bella, and Minato-sensei said in union, and Minato-sensei led the way out of the door.
