Bella's POV

Chapter 3

The wind blew through my hair as I jumped from branch to branch. The Land Hidden in the Stars wasn't that far from Konoha. Excitement flowed through me as the shade from the leaves protected me from the suns rays. I should have brought sunscreen so I wouldn't end up with a sunburn. I noticed that someone had caught up to me and was now going the same pace. I realized it was Sakura.

"Hey Bella, do you think you can help me talk to Sasuke?" Here we go again. She had the biggest crush on him, practically every girl did. I mean yeah he was good looking but I just don't see it. She had always asked me for ways to get Sasuke's attention since me and him grew up together, we are siblings after all. I helped her out since we were pretty good friends. "Sure, what is it that you want to talk to him about?" I had asked her.

She thought about it "Im not sure, I just want him to notice me!" She pouted her lips. I looked up ahead to see the quiet boy. He wore the same crest I did.

Sasuke had changed after the slaughter of our clan. And since then, we haven't talked much. I looked back at Sakura, "Just give me some time and I'll think about it." She nodded and went ahead of me.

I then heard a yelp. I already knew who it was. I stopped at the next branch, and looked down to see Maya had tripped and fallen off of the tree. "MAYA, YOU'RE SUCH A DUMBASS!" I screamed. Mia, who was now standing next to me on the same branch, slapped her forehead and sighed. Mia and I had jumped down to where Maya had fallen. Mia looked up to Minato-Sensei and yelled, "We'll catch up in a second!" He nodded and the rest of them headed off.

"Sorry about that guys. I wasn't paying attention." I helped Maya up from the ground while Mia looked at Maya with her arms crossed. "Maya, you have a Byakugan, and you still can't see correctly." I let out a small laugh while Maya frowned and said "I can see perfectly fine!" Maya yelled.

Her voice was pretty soft so it didn't really sound like she was yelling. She had leaves all caught in her hair, and her black, round glasses were on the ground. Before I could say anything else, I heard a noise. "Hey Maya did you fucking fart or something?" Maya started "What the HECK NO-"

Mia tapped on my shoulder, "You sensed that too?" We looked all turned our heads and gazed at the surrounding area. There seemed to be a pink fog that was beginning to surround us. "If only Maya could use her Byakugan correctly, we could be able to tell what this stuff is." Mia had said wryly. Maya rolled her eyes. I looked at the both of them and said, "We should probably catch up to the others before something happens." We all nodded in agreement, and started trailing the rest of the group.

We eventually caught up with the everyone else. Mia had reported to Minato-sensei what had happened. I kept my eyes close on Maya just to make sure she didn't fall again. For some reason, my stomach felt uneasy. We were nearing the village and there was no reason to start thinking about unnessasary things. Kakashi-sensei stopped, he was all the way at the front. "Ok, we can probably walk from here."

We had all lept down from the tree's, and followed the path that lead our destination. I noticed that Naruto was trying to sweet talk Sakura, she wasn't having any of it at all. He should probably stop before he gets punched in the face. Maya, Mia and I were walking in a group in the back while Minato-sensei and Kakashi- sensei walked at the front. Sasuke walked behind Naruto and Sakura. We would soon arrive at the village Hidden in the Stars.
