The next morning Trent wakes up. After bushing his teeth and showering, he goes downstairs and sees Courtney, Bridgette and Geoff eating breakfast at the table.

Geoff: "Morning Trent."

Courtney: "Hey Trent."

Trent: "Morning guys."

Trent gets some cereal and starts eating.

Courtney: "Had a nice sleep?"

Trent: "Yes, I did. Did you guys sleep well?" He says and asks smiling.

Courtney: "Yes, we did."

Bridgette and Geoff nod in agreement.

Geoff: "Enjoyed some time with Gwen?"

Trent: "Yea, it was good catching up with her."

Courtney and Bridgette smirk.

A few minutes later Gwen comes downstairs.

Courtney and Bridgette: "Hey Gwen, morning."

Gwen: " Morning".

Trent: "Morning Gwen."

Gwen: "Morning Trent." She says smiling.

Gwen: "I'm going to go outside for a bit."

She goes outside. A few minutes later, Trent goes outside.

Trent: "Hey Gwen, mind if I sit with you?"

Gwen: "Sure, she says smiling."

Trent sits next to her.

Trent: "Had a good night sleep?"

Gwen: "Yes, did you?"

Trent: "Yes."

Gwen: "Thato's good."

They are silent for a few seconds.

Gwen: "So, what is the plan for today?"

Trent: "Think we are just going to chill out here."

Gwen: "Oh, that's cool, we can just hangout."

Trent: "Yes, I would like that."

The two smile at each other.

Trent: "You going to eat anything?"

Gwen: "I am not hungry right now."

The two are silent for another few seconds. A few seconds later:

Gwen: "This is a really nice view."

Trent: "I agree, it's beautiful here."

Gwen: "my mom says that she eventually wants to move out here."

Trent: "This is a great place to stay. I wouldn't mind moving here when I eventually retire"

Gwen: "I agree."

They talk for another 15 minutes. 15 minutes later.

Gwen: "So, do you want to go inside?"

Trent; "Sure."

The two get up and go inside. By the time they go inside, the others are downstairs.

Courtney: "How's the weather out there?" She asks Trent and Gwen.

Gwen: "Very nice."

Trent nods in agreement.

Everyone spends the day hanging out in the house. They play cards, and watch TV and movies. Everyone is having a good time. Gwen and Trent are sitting next to each other the entire time. Late at night, everyone agrees to go to sleep. They head upstairs.

Trent: "Goodnight Gwen."

Gwen: "Goodnight Trent."

Both head into their rooms.

Trent (in his mind): "I enjoyed hanging out with Gwen. She's a great women. Even if we don't get back together, I'm glad to be friends with her. However, I hope we get back together. I still miss what we had. I do feel a spark between us. I do want to tell her how I feel."

Gwen (in her mind): "Trent is a great guy. I'm glad we've put the past behind us and become friends. However, I would like to give our relationship another try. I would like to talk to him about this at some point during the trip. I hope he wants to try again like me. I think he wants to."
