Story starts based off of the episode "Quite a common fairy" S3 E3
Regina walked through the forest falling a little behind, her thoughts about TinkerBell didn't leave her mind. All the hurt she caused Tink, all the things they did, it pained her to even think about Tink's face at all! She hadn't seen her after the one night stand they had all those years ago, but something told her that was probably for the best.
"Hey."
Emma said as she turned around to see Regina kinda behind.
"Hey."
The brunette responded in a snap.
"You're falling behind. Hook thinks her place is right up ahead. Come on"
Regina's head jolted up to look at the blonde that had stopped walking, Emma wasn't really one to wait for people, Regina found that weird.
"If she still lives there"
Regina gestured with her hand.
"You go waste your time searching and I'll wait."
The brunette put her hands on her waist as Emma turned and walked over to her.
"What did you do to her?"
Regina turned her head at that question and looked at Emma in the eyes.
"What? Why would you assume I did something?"
Emma looked at Regina.
"You met her before, right? In the Enchanted Forest? What did you do? Kill her brother? Steal her halo?"
Regina got defensive.
"She's not an Angel!"
Regina complied as she sighed.
"Ok. We have a complicated history"
Emma nodded slightly.
"I knew it"
Emma looked at Regina knowingly.
"You don't need to know the details."
Regina took in a breath.
"But if she sees me, she won't help. And if she is the way in, well then, trust me, me staying out of her sight is probably best for Operation Henry"
Regina looked at Emma wanting her to trust her and leave.
"Operation Henry?"
Regina looked down and nodded as she held back tears. She sat down and focused on something else.
"That's what I've been calling it in my head"
Emma sat down next to Regina.
"He's ok, I know he is."
Emma gave a soft reassuring smile.
"I promise"
Regina nodded as she looked up at Emma.
"Yeah, he's not gonna be if you don't just go. If she is our answer I'm gonna be the problem"
Emma sighed as she got up.
"Ok, we'll come get you after we find her"
Regina shook her head.
"No, she can't even know I'm here or she won't help. Just go and I'll figure something out"
Emma tilted her head a bit in concern.
"You sure?"
Regina nodded.
"Yes, now go"
Emma gave a soft smile.
"I'll bring him home safe, I promise. Be safe."
Regina gave a soft smile back. She barley smiled but Emma's smile was addicting.
"I will, you too."
Emma nodded as she turned and walked away. Regina sat on the log watching the blonde's figure disappear, as she watched her fade into nothing, her smile faded too. Regina felt something every time she was with Emma and she didn't know what it was, she didn't know if it was her starting to like the blonde, her starting to accept she wasn't leaving, or something entirely different.
She sat there until she heard something rustling in the leaves, she jolted her head up as a familier face emerged from the brush.
"A complicated history, huh? You couldn't tell her you were a coward, had a one night stand with me, didn't walk into the bar, and threw your life away?"
Tink shook her head in disappointment as she made eye contact with the brunette.
"TinkerBell"
Tink grabbed some dust from her bag without Regina's knowledge.
"Hey Regina"
She blew the dust into Regina's face and the brunette fell to the ground.
Tink took her to a small cave and tied her up as she waited for Regina to wake, she was beyond angry.
A little while later Regina awoke, her head was fuzzy and her vision was blurry. She looked around and finally looked at the blonde who had knocked her out, and tied her up.
"TinkerBell!"
Regina stood up still a little dizzy.
"That little stunt you pulled didn't do much other then bring me here. What are you planning to do? Kill me? Because that's gonna backfire really quick"
Regina broke the rope with her magic and dusted herself off.
"What did you knock me out with? Because it definitely wasn't fairy dust"
Regina sniffed the air.
"Poppies perhaps? Well that can only mean one thing, You don't have magic"
Tink grabbed an arrow dipped in dreamshade and pushed Regina up against the cave wall.
"Because of you! Because of you it's gone!"
Regina gasped, she never wanted Tink to get hurt, especially from something she did?
"I didn't mean to get it taken!"
Tink held the arrow to Regina's throat.
"Whatever. And I can kill you, you know what dreamshade is?"
Regina tried to lower her eyes to look at the arrow, she swallowed hard.
"Of course i know what it is"
Tink looked at the arrow then at Regina.
"Good, because if you keep it up that's what you'll meet your fate to"
Regina shook her head.
"No, if I'm going down it's not gonna be because of dreamshade."
Regina pulled out her own heart, Tink stepped back in shock as she dropped the arrow. She handed her heart to Tink.
"Kill me, go ahead, do it!"
TinkerBell looked down at Regina's heart that was in her hand.
"You took everything from me! You took my wings, my magic, my title as a fairy, my love! YOU TOOK IT ALL!!!"
She squeezed her heart in a rage. Regina gasped then managed to catch her breath.
"I don't know how I took it all from you but I'm sorry!"
Tink shook her head as tears fell from her eyes.
"Why?"
Regina looked confused.
"Why did I give you my heart?"
Tink looked even more mad.
"Why didn't you walk in!? Was being happy so bad of a fate??"
Regina nodded as tears fell from her eyes.
"Yes, yes it was! It hurt to feel love, it hurt to be happy! That anger was all I had!!"
Tink squeezed her heart again and Regina got on her knees gasping for air.
"Was it worth it? Did you ever find love?? DID YOU EVER FIND THE ONE WITH THE LION TATTOO?"
Regina cried as she tried to catch her breath. She nodded.
"Her name- her name is Emma Swan"
TinkerBell let the grip on Regina's heart loosen as she stepped back looking defeated.
"The savior"
Regina looked up at Tink confused.
"How did you know that?"
Tink shook her head as she handed Regina her heart back.
"Have a nice life Regina"
She turned around.
"Wait!"
TinkerBell stopped and sighed knowing she'd have to explain how she knew Emma Swan to the women she once loved.
