BGM-Spider-Man: Web of Shadows OST-Web of Shadows
Spider-Man: Look out! It's your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man! I dunno what happened. I was ambushed and nearly killed by Venom when I somehow took a piece of his symbiote and regained the Black Suit. I was able to beat back Venom with its power, forcing him to flee as the paramedics take Mary Jane to a hospital. Gotta watch over her, then I'll track down Venom and figure out what is going on with him.

Issue 3: Gang War
Manhattan, New York City
After the intense battle with Venom, Spider-Man swings through the city following the ambulance carrying Mary Jane to the hospital, after she got hurt during the battle. 'As usual in my miserable life as me, my friends and loved ones keep getting caught in the crossfires of my battles. I'm so sorry, MJ. Thankfully, she didn't seem too banged up. Still…' Peter mentally puts on his symbiote suit and takes a glance of it, 'How in the world did I regain the Black Suit? And, what was up with Venom? He looked a little different. Acted more savage. Not to mention his power was through the roof, but how? He gained an Aura. Did he unlock his Semblance? Or, is the symbiote evolving somehow?' He sighs while switching to his Red Suit, 'I'll track him down later for answers. For now, need to watch MJ in case he shows up again.' He says in his mind as he continues following the ambulance.
Eventually, the ambulance arrives at the hospital and park next to the emergency entrance. But mere moments after arriving, several other cars drive up and park next to the lot. Gangsters from two different gangs step out of their cars, with guns in their hands, and immediately shoot at their rivals, quickly causing a ruckus that's scaring people away from the hospital.
The paramedics quickly run out of the back of the ambulance with one of them telling his partner, "Everyone in one piece? Get her inside!" As his partner quickly strolls MJ into the hospital, Spider-Man lands atop of the ambulance. "You! Stop those lunatics!" The paramedic orders the crimefighter to stop the gang war.
"Uh…yeah. O-Okay." said the nodding Spider-Man, reluctant to help since he is still worried about Mary Jane, but leaps into the fray knowing it is the right thing to do.

Spidey narrates, 'And before you could say "Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man", I'm in the middle of a gang war. Good times.' He says while webstriking a thug to the ground, then takes out another thug with a punch, before backflipping from gunfire and legsweeping a thug, swiftly kicking him onto another, 'MJ was getting her arm in a cast, and I was feeling lousy for not being by her side.' He perfectly dodges a gunshot, countering with a web shot to the thug's face before knocking him out with a Web-Strike. The arachnid hero yanks a pistol right out of a thug's hand, then hurls it back with concussive force that sends him flying, 'But, if she knew I was ignoring what was going on in the streets, she would've kicked me back out the door.' He finishes his narration while dodging into a car, then launches off and strike down the remaining thugs in a row.

With the thugs beaten, Spidey takes a moment to nod proudly at his work, until his Spider-Sense tingles and warns him of more thugs showing up in their cars. "I knew this was over too quickly." quips Spidey, watching the thugs stepping out of their cars.
The orange-dressed thugs surround the webslinger, pointing their guns at him while one of them threatens to him, "You're gonna PAY for messing up my boys, spider-freak!"
The thugs immediately fire at Spider-Man, who quickly jumps upward to avoid their shots. Unknown to the thugs until it was too late, a big and muscular black man wearing a yellow shirt and a belt appears behind one of the thugs and knocks him down with a simple pound to his head. One of the thugs recognize the other crimefighter, "It's Cage! Waste him!" ordering his friends to shoot at the leader of the New Avengers himself, Luke Cage. And thanks to his unbreakable skin, most of their bullets simply deflect off his body, while the rest blow up the car parked behind him.
Cage cracks his knuckles with a smirk, "Now that was rude." He taunted the thugs.
BGM-Spider-Man: Web of Shadows OST-Gang War (Red Suit)
Luke Cage charges straight at a scared thug, sending him flying with the force of the impact. "Why is it always Harlem? Can't you destroy the Up East Side for once?! Sweet Christmas." He says, knocking back a few thugs with powerful blows from his fists.
"'Sweet Christmas'. See! Now THAT's a good catchphrase right there." quips Spidey, launching an enemy into the air with a swing kick.
Luke smiles at the wallcrawler while effortlessly grabbing a thug with one hand, "Spider-Man."
"I know what you're thinkin'. 'Could it REALLY be my good-looking teammate that's come to help'? Heh. Well the answer is, yes." Spidey quips while delivering a leaping spinkick onto a thug.
Thugs shoot at Spider-Man, who jumps away to take cover behind Cage's unbreakable skin. The power man takes out a chain and lashes it at his enemies, knocking all of them down except for one. He wraps his chain around the thug, crushing him as he yanks him into Spider-Man's diving kick. Out of nowhere, a car driven by a thug rams into Cage's back. He nearly smashes him into a wall if Cage didn't grab the front of the car and stop it completely with his incredible strength. "Free parking over here." Spidey appears next to the driver and yanks him out of the car, then webs him onto a wall. And as more thugs show up to fight the heroes, Cage hurls the car at them to scare them away.
"We're outta here! Those freaks are just too much!" shouts a thug, fleeing alongside his friends and rivals.

Luke Cage wipes his hands while watching the thugs run away for his amusement. "Hopefully that'll teach 'em. So what brings you uptown, Spidey?" He asks his webbed teammate.
"I was coming to see about a friend in the emergency room when all these fine chaps came along." Spidey replied.
"Good work shutting down the drive-by." Cage complimented.
Spidey cockily shrugs, "Eh, it was nothing."
"I've been chasing these guys around all day. You see any more, you shut them down." Cage advises him.
"I-I'll do what I can." Peter replied.
Cage nods, "Good. Look for me in the park later." He said, watching the wallcrawler swinging away to find more thugs to beat down.
G.U.N. HQ, Central City. Sonic's Dimension.
BGM-Sonic Adventure 2 OST-The Base
In another dimension, on the planet Mobius, there is a man with mismatching eyes of green and brown standing in a Briefing Room of a military base. His name is Abraham Tower, the Commander of G.U.N., and he is waiting patiently for certain arrivals. And right on time come those arrivals, as the door opens for them into the room. They appear to be a team of three, consisting of a mobian black hedgehog, a mobian bat, and a bulky robot. Respectively, they are Shadow the Hedgehog, Rouge the Bat, and E-123 Omega. Together, they are Team Dark, the most powerful and capable agents of GUN, who have just returned from a mission.
Shadow raises his right arm, holding a beautiful red gemstone in his hand, "The second Chaos Emerald has been secured, Commander." He told his boss.
Commander Tower smiles at his team, "Excellent. I'd expect nothing less from Team Dark."
Rouge smirks cockily, "We are the experts collecting shiny mystical gems. Well, I am."
"And I am an expert annihilating everything in his path." Omega quips emotionlessly.
"And together with Shadow, makes you three my most resourceful team of agents. Which is why I am counting on you in finding the remaining Chaos Emeralds." Tower said.
"Why in a hurry? Is the world under threat?" Shadow asks his commanding officer.
"Trying to prevent one." Tower stated. "You see, I have recently been in contact with some new friends. You have heard of Nick Fury and James Ironwood?" He questions the hedgehog.
Shadow crosses his arms in curiosity, "The Director of SHIELD and the General of the Atlesian Military? But they are from different dimensions. How are they involved?" He asked.
"Yesterday, Fury contacted me after his military stumbled upon a Chaos Emerald on Earth. Then we came into contact with Ironwood, and learned that Remnant is also in possession of a Chaos Emerald." Tower said, explaining that the Chaos Emeralds are scattered between their realities.
"The last time the Emeralds were scattered between dimensions were during the Incursions. Why again?" Rouge wondered.
"We came to the conclusion that it was after Sonic used them to help rebuild the multiverse. Earth, Mobius, and Remnant were among the last remaining worlds before they were destroyed in the Incursions." Tower claimed.
"Logical conclusion. Meaning our job is to find the remaining Chaos Emeralds before someone in those dimensions misuse their power." Shadow deduced.
Tower nods with a serious look, "Exactly. After Eggman's alliance with the Sinister Six, and what I've been informed about The Cabal, we CAN'T afford another interdimensional crisis so soon. The last one left behind ISO-8 scattered across this world and Remnant." He activates a hologram, projecting a screen displaying Earth and Remnant, and images of their respective military, "Here are your assignments: Agents Shadow and Omega, you two will head to Remnant immediately and assist SHIELD Agent Black Widow and Atlas Specialist Winter Schnee locating any Chaos Emeralds. Meanwhile, Agent Rouge, you will travel to Earth and partner with SHIELD Agent Mockingbird with the same objective. Find all seven and bring them back here."
"I look forward in exterminating the creatures they call Grimm!" Omega responded.
Shadow glances at Rouge and asks, "Are you ready?"
"As always. Drop me off at the nearest jewelry store in New York. I won't be upset if the Emerald's not there." Rouge smirked, planning to steal all the jewels in New York City.
Shadow scoffs with a smirk at her joke, then raises up the Chaos Emerald into the air. "Chaos Control!" He shouts, causing the emerald to glow as he manipulates time and space, warping himself and his team to an alternate dimension.

Back on Earth, at New York City…
BGM-Spider-Man: Web of Shadows OST-Act 1 City 3
Team Dark warps onto a rooftop in Harlem, dropping off Rouge as she waves goodbye to her teammates before they teleport to Remnant. Rouge flies away to begin her search for the Chaos Emeralds. She unknowingly flies over Spider-Man, who is also unaware of her arrival in his world. The webslinger has been too busy stopping crime around Harlem, and after taking down more gangsters, he swings over to the local park to meet with Luke Cage.
"Good job, Spidey. Thanks to you, the gangs are thinking twice before having a shoot out in the middle of the street. But we have to keep up the pressure." Cage says to his teammate.
"Tell me about these gangs." Spidey requested, wanting to know more about them and devise a plan to stop the gang war.
"They are engaging in a number of activities dangerous to the community. Your unique skills could be perfect for stopping them." Cage answered.
Spidey nods, thanking him for this new knowledge. "Luke, you've been at this for a while now, trying to get these gangs to calm down, I mean." Spidey said, chatting with him about the gang war.
Cage crosses his arms while leaning on a flagpole, "It's an ongoing job, Spidey. I had a peace working. Then someone decided they were disrespected and now they're trying to get revenge."
"That's just stupid." Peter commented.
"That's life, man." Cage responded.
"I grew up in a nice quiet corner of Queens." Peter said.
"So you have no idea what I'm talking about." Luke quipped.
"That's one way of saying it, sure." Peter shrugged.
"These kids think they haven't got any currency beyond respect. They don't see any way out, and no future beyond what they can carve out for themselves." Cage conversed.
"And their solution is to turn the city into a war zone?" Peter retorted.
Cage walks away from the flagpole while saying, "They don't think beyond today. That's why I'm out here. To show them there is another way. There is a future."
"Well, I've got your back, man. I want to help any way I can." Spidey said, genuinely offering his assistance to his friend.
"There's some guys out here that need to get got, knock some heads together, yeah? But most are just guys who've fallen in with the wrong crowd, and they just need to hear some kind words." Cage expressed.
"Which might require my 'unique skills', whatever you mean by that." Peter quipped.
"You have the potential to be a great fighter, but you need to use ALL your senses." Cage clarified.
"Hey, I've got more sense than you." Peter retorted.
Cage looks down at the teenaged hero with an intimidating glare, "Ex-CUSE me?"
"You know, my Spider-Sense. One of these days I'll think of something cooler to call it. But until then…" Peter quipped.
"Fine. Good. You've got an extra sense. Now use it to its full potential." Cage ordered.
"What do you mean, exactly?" The confused Spidey asked.
"You can see all your opponents before they see you; figure out who you take out first…and I need that exact skill right now." Cage said.
"What do you need?" Peter asked.
Cage says, "I've got an informant in serious danger. There's a hit about to go down and I have no way to spot the shooter until it's too late, but you…"
Peter taps his chin as he slowly understands, "I could use my Spider-Sense as a sniper-sense. Nice…"
"Exactly." Cage nods, "And you can bet there'll be more than one. Now I'll tell you where the informant is and then you can stake it out."
Peter nods, accepting the mission, "Okay, let's do this."
At the Hit Location…
BGM-Spider-Man: Web of Shadows OST-Protect the Innocent
Spider-Man lands on a wall mounted flagpole above an intersection. "This is the place. So many people though. Spider-Sense, do your thing." He lets out a sigh while closing his eyes and concentrates, focusing on his Spider-Sense to identify which person is good and which is bad. He then identifies the informant standing on a sidewalk, "Got the informant, now where're the bad guys?" He triggers his Spider-Sense again and locates four assassins, "There they are."
He jumps off the flagpole and latches a webline on a thug's face, blinding him. Spidey pulls himself forward to quickly kick him down, then fires three web strands at a time to disarm the other assassins and hurl their guns right back, knocking all but one thug. Spidey zips and kicks the remaining thug onto a wall, webbing him for the police. "No assassinating informants in my neighborhood." He quipped.
The informant approaches Spider-Man, who offers him a friendly handshake, "You all in one piece?"
"Man, I owe you big time." The informant thug said, thanking the webhead for saving his life.
"Don't thank me, thank Mr. Cage." Spider-Man replies, launching a webline to a building as he swings back to the park.

Back at the park…
"Good job, Spidey. You've really helped me out here." said Luke Cage, complimenting the webslinger after returning from his mission.
"Hey, it's what heroes do, am I right?" Peter replied.
"Absolutely. There's a reason the three of us were chosen as Avengers." said a newcomer to their group. Luke and Spidey turn around and spot a man approaching them, a man wearing a white K'un-Lun uniform with a golden mask and sash.
Both Luke and Spidey smile, immediately recognizing him as an old friend. "Iron Fist! Nice to see you." said Peter, sharing a handshake with his fellow Avenger.
Iron Fist smiles, "Nice to see you too, Spidey. Heard from Luke you've been helping him stop the gang war. I've also been lending a helping hand."
"More of a helping 'fist' I'm sure." Spidey quipped, "With the three of us working together, this gang war will be over by the end of the day."
Luke chuckles, "Got that right." He said, sharing a bro-fist with the wallcrawler.
Iron Fist crosses his arms, "I question that." He said, which got his friends confused. "Spider-Man, have you been keeping up with your training?"
Peter nervously rubs the back of his head, "Uh, not really. Been a little busy with other stuff. B-But I still remember a bit of my Spider-Fu." He shrugged.
"What about your Aura? Have you mastered it?" Fist asked.
"Haven't bother with it since I left Beacon. Why?" Spidey questioned suspiciously.
"You have tons of potential, but you're letting it all go to waste, and you may never know when you could use those skills. I can train you to master your Aura, if you're willing to learn and Luke can find us a nice quiet training space." said Fist, looking at his best friend.
"Heh. I know just the place." Cage smiled with an idea.
Later at a back alley…
BGM-Spider-Man: Web of Shadows OST-Tutorial Mission
Cage took his friends to a quiet and big back alley that is nearly surrounded by fences. Iron Fist and Spider-Man stand and face each other, while Luke leans and watches them from the sidelines.
"Aura is like Chi. It is the manifestation of the soul. The spiritual energy that surrounds all lifeforms, and can be used in a number of ways. Your Aura is unique, Spider-Man. It is the combination of your natural life energy infused with your essence of the spider." Iron Fist lectures him on Auras.
"Yeah, we call it the 'X-Aura'. Or, Spider-Aura. Aura Arachnid? Eh, either one works fine for me." Spidey quipped.
"Aura is a powerful ally in battle, yet you don't have yours active at all times." said Fist, noticing Peter has his Aura deactivated.
"My Aura is a little more stressful on the body. More potent thanks to the ISO-8 that was accidently infused into it. I only used it as a temporary power up." Peter explained.
"But with practice, your Aura can be an everlasting shield. Now, activate your X-Aura. We'll do a little sparring match. Remember to maintain it. Utilize in conjunction with the Way of the Spider." said Fist, taking a fighting stance.
Spidey concentrates while activating his X-Aura, radiating a calm blue glow around his entire body that enhances his speed, strength, and reflexes. He takes a fighting stance, "Ready when you are!" and dashes at Fist, fighting him up close and personal with a speedy combo of kicks and punches. Iron Fist expertly parries all of his blows, then goes for a legsweep that was jumped over by Spidey. The webslinger launches a diving kick, which was blocked by Fist. The immortal warrior decides to fight back, clashing with Spider-Man with expertly placed punches and kicks.
"Good. Your strikes are sharpening. Keep targeting my nerve clusters. Pressure points. Strike with spider-speed. Hit with spider-strength. Maintain focus on your Spider-Aura. That is the true Way of the Spider!" Fist instructed.
Spider-Man complies, overpowering Fist with a series of lightning quick and powerful strikes, knocking him away with twin fists. Fist quickly recovers onto his feet, "Excellent technique. Seal your Aura within yourself, but keep it active. Raise your energy while controlling it so it does not leak out. This way, you'll constantly have a cloak of Aura protecting you." He then channels his chi and focuses it into his fist, "Now do what I do. Channel and focus your Aura into your stingers." He instructed.
Nodding in acknowledgment, Spidey unsheathes a razor-sharp stinger beneath his right wrist and imbues it with the blue energy of his Aura. "Never been the biggest fan of these. Accidently poked Luke with them once." He quipped.
"And left me unconscious for 3 hours!" Cage retorted from the sidelines.
Iron Fist dashes at Spider-Man and launches a series of rapid punches with his chi-infused fist. Spidey deflects his punches with his Aura-infused stinger, then clashes with his trainer. Their clash gets intense as neither combatant seems to be gaining the upper hand, that is until Fist found an opening and performs a one-inch punch on Spider-Man, causing him to crumple and collapse onto his knee.
Spidey nearly loses focus on his Aura after it took damage, causing Fist to sternly criticize, "Don't lose a grip on your Aura! Keep it WITHIN your body to maximize your abilities!"
"ARGH! I can't do this! I should've paid more attention in class when they were teaching this stuff at Beacon!" Spidey whined with frustration, believing himself unable to master his X-Aura.
"C'mon, Webs! Don't quit on us! Try again! FOCUS!" Cage encourages him.
"Control your emotions! Let go of all self-doubt and live in the moment! Feel the flow!" Fist instructed calmly.
Peter's eyes widen with an idea, 'Of course. With my Spider-Sense.'

Spider-Man stands on his feet and pauses to take a deep breath to correct himself, maintaining his Aura within his body with guidance from his Spider-Sense. He then unsheathes a second Aura Stinger and jumps into the sky, spiraling towards Iron Fist and fiercely slashing with him with both energy stingers and a battle cry. Iron Fist lets out his own battle cry as he blocks the stingers with his namesake, briefly emitting a bright light from the collision of powerful forces. As the light disappears, Fist was blown away onto a trash can, while Spidey lands perfectly on the ground.

Iron Fist grunts in pain, while Spidey retracts his stingers and offers a hand to help Fist onto his feet. Fist smiles at his friend, "You got some moves, I'll give you that. It doesn't matter if you're a Huntsman or a Superhero. Having an Aura is a useful partner. Keep training to always subconsciously have a cloak of Aura on, and you'll be unbeatable. And may I question the abilities of your Semblance?"
"Sure. I think I named it, 'Battle Focus'. It rapidly generates me Aura for a short time." Peter answered.
"A useful ability, to perform more aura-based attacks in succession or a quick heal." Fist replied.
"Is there any other reason why you're training him in Aura?" Cage approaches his best friend.
"I saw the news of his battle with Venom." Fist answers, turning to look at the webslinger, "You nearly died until you regained the Black Suit. We all know the symbiote's influence is corruptive and powerful, causing negative emotions. But with mastery of your Aura, and thanks to your previous exposure to the symbiote, you SHOULD be able to stay in control of yourself." He explained himself.
Spidey switches to his Black Suit and feels some newfound control over it with his Aura, "So you've been looking out for me. Thanks, Danny." He smiles sincerely under the mask.
"You're welcome, but remember. The power the Black Suit provides is substantial, but it might push you to make some 'uncharacteristic' moral choices. ALWAYS remember who you are. Balance the darkness with your light. Do not let the shadows extinguish your inner fire." Fist instructed him.
"Keep being a goody two shoes. Gotcha." Peter quips with a nod while taking off the Black Suit.
BGM-Spider-Man: Web of Shadows OST-Tutorial Mission
"Spidey, you might be the answer to my problems. With your skills putting pressure on the gangs, maybe the good folks around here can take back the streets." Power Man said this teammate.
"We need a more PERMANENT solution. All we've done is push them out for a day." Spidey replied.
Cage nods, "Too true. We need a deal. We need to parley with the leaders."
"How are we gonna pull that off without them killing each other?" Spidey questioned.
"These guys' lives revolve around reputations and who did what to whom or FOR whom. Simple. Do them a favor." Cage suggested.
Spidey chuckles, "You're kiddin', right? These guys are like…Public Enemy #1, AND 2."
"The Park Avenues are gonna try and take out the leader of the Rolling Sevens. Follow the cars on the way to make the hit, stop them, and the Sevens will owe you." Cage informs him.
"As long as it's just a favor. I don't wanna become an honorary member or a new chief thug or anything." quips Spidey, accepting the mission to help the Rolling Sevens and be one step closer in ending the gang war.

KFX Here: Iron Fist joins the remake, and you can see how Team Dark are gonna get involved in this story. This chapter was to reestablish Spider-Man's "X-Aura", a new ability he gained from the Battle for Remnant remake. As for the Black Suit, Spider-Man will gradually use it more and more as the story continues, to emphasize its corruption overtaking him. For now, we're sticking with Red Suit.
superjoeyf721: Venom was talking about his symbiote, which he likes to refer to as his "Other". He wasn't talking about Knull or some deity. Knull wasn't even a THING when Web of Shadows came out. And Web of Shadows on the PSP is the same version on the PS2.
XenoSlayer983: I prefer the Black Suit from the comics. And Venom in Spider-Man 3 was only skinny because Brock was skinny, unlike the comics where Brock is muscular and slightly taller than Peter, which is why he is a towering, hulking monstrosity when bonded to Venom in the comics.
Next Time: Symbiote King and Queen! Parley in the Park!
