The sun rose in the city of Bugdom. The bully insects, who are most likely to be the animal-catchers, were sneaking to find a ferocious beetle.

"Man, a black widow spider tamed him!" the first one said.

"Ooh, how about, we can just let her while we are near her and the rhino beetle and be nice?" the next one said.

"No, imbecile! We need to catch a rhino beetle without the black widow watching!" the other urged.

The bully insects spot the house, and looked through the bedroom window. They spotted Rosie and Dim asleep on their bed; Rosie was rubbing Dim's foot with her hand, while he was smoothing her abdomen with his foot.

"Hey—" the second bully insect was about to shout at Dim and Rosie, but the third one shuts his mouth, saying,

"Listen here, you loudmouth! I'll—"

"Hey! Stop being mean!" the first bully insect hissed,

"I may have an idea."

Meanwhile...

The circus bugs remaining, Manny, Gypsy, Francis, Slim, Heimlich, Tuck and Roll were gathered in the tent by P.T. Flea for a performance, lecturing them where Rosie and Dim are.

"All, right, troupe! Where are Rosie and Dim?! I've been knocking on their house all times!" P.T. shouts.

"Oh, P.T., we haven't seen them. Maybe they just don't want to be disturbed," Gypsy insisted.

"Well said, my dear. They must sleep," Manny agreed.

"I know exactly why," Francis said,

"Maybe Dim might feel sick because of all injuries YOU'VE done while he is in a cage."

"And what's the point? Rosie must be taking care of him," Slim added.

"Ja! We support them!" Heimlich agreed.

Tuck and Roll nodded their heads, crossing their arms in agreement.

"AGH! Don't tell me that Rosie and Dim are having a day off! Because if they do, they're fired!" P.T. urged.

"Guys! Guys!" Rosie called, rushing into the tent.

"Rosie! You're late! Now where is your rhino beetle?" P.T. asked.

"Not trying to offend you, but I think Dim is being hurt by the insects!" Rosie cried out.

"What?!" the circus troupe cried out in unison as well.

"It cannot be! Guide us to him!" P.T. shrieked in disbelief.

Rosie nodded, leading P.T. and the circus troupe, who followed, to where Dim was.

Dim was squirming from the bully insects' grasps, as if he was trying to get out of the cage.

"Stay still, shy beetle!" the first bully insect urged angrily.

"Yeah, what a ferocious killer!" the other said in agreement.

As a matter of fact, Dim swatted at them, roaring ferociously, for help. But the third one wasn't going to stand for it, so he took his whip, which is hardly refurbished, and he whipped Dim on the foot, face, and even his whole body. Feeling the pain, Dim tears up and lets out a crying scream in pain.

While riding in the circus wagon, Rosie, P.T. and the other circus bugs came to Dim's aide. They stared in shock, seeing Dim almost losing consciousness, while hiding behind the cage he was in.

"Oh, no, Dim!" Rosie cried a little tearfully.

They all hopped out of the circus wagon, in shock, going over to the bully insects who were abusing Dim.

"HEY! Leave Dim alone this instant!" P.T. shrieked angrily, but the bully insects laughed.

"Ooh, I am scared! This shy beetle does not know how to talk!" one of them said.

"Well, he was taught by Rosie!" Francis said sternly.

"Ja! You bullies have got some nerve for doing this abuse!" Heimlich agreed.

"You could get reported for this," Slim added.

"You ingrates leave our rhino beetle friend alone!" Manny chimed in.

"He is harmless to us!" Gypsy said in agreement as well.

Tuck and Roll nodded, as if they were about to slap the bully insects. Rosie teared up angrily, and held the whip in her hand. She lashed her whip in the air, as if to strike at the bully insects.

"You three better get out of here, and leave Dim alone. Right now!" she insisted sternly.

As the bully insects were scared by Rosie's whip, they yelped and scurried out of sight. Rosie heard Dim's whimpers and groans in pain, and spotted Dim crawling over to her, but he lost his balance and fell over. She rushed over to his side. Rosie reassured Dim, and puts her spider web onto his wounds.

"Dim! Are you okay?" Rosie asked, petting him on the horn.

Dim didn't respond, but he was wheezing very badly.

Rosie shook him gently, as if to wake him up. His breathing is getting hard for Dim to keep.

"Is he—?" Gypsy asked in confusion.

Manny soothed her, as if he was comforting his wife.

Francis, Slim, Heimlich, Tuck and Roll were watching as well. P.T. stared in shock, and came up with an idea, telling his troupe,

"Why don't you guys stay here? I'll go get something."

He leaps his way to the circus wagon, getting things to help Dim.

Suddenly, when Dim's last breath came out, his eyes were closed. Rosie gasped, and she she cried desperately while rubbing him on the horn and legs,

"Dim! It's okay, I'm right here! Please, wake up, Dim!"

After some several tries, Dim was still unconscious. He wasn't moving, motionless. Rosie tears up, and pleaded again,

"Dim! Please wake up! I need you...!"

Neither response is here, nor his signs of life can be seen. As she faced the rest of the circus bugs, they shook their heads at her.

With tears flowing down, Rosie cried and threw herself onto Dim's body.

Gypsy sniffled, and held back a sob. Manny reassured her in his embrace. Francis, Slim and Heimlich, were showing sympathy, as if to feel sorry for Rosie's loss. Tuck and Roll were wailing mournfully as they hugged each other.

Moments later, P.T. returned with the ventilator, but spotted Rosie weeping over Dim's side of the body, and the other circus bugs near them.

He felt shocked, knowing that this can't be it, and sadly leaped to his troupe, showing sympathy.

Much, much later...

As P.T. and the circus troupe had Dim set on the ventilator, they scurried him back home.

They also placed him on bed, while Rosie was by his side the whole time. She was rubbing him on the horn and legs. In fact, Rosie also helped her friends aid Dim by giving him a cure medicine. Doing so, they stepped back.

Slowly, Dim stirred and moaned weakly, opening his eyes. Rosie stared, and smiled tearfully, scuttling to him for an embrace.

"D~ Dim! Thank goodness you're back! I'm so happy that you're okay!" she cried happily.

Blushing, Dim gave Rosie a nudge in comfort.

The circus bugs smiled with relief. P.T. felt relieved as well.

As soon it was nighttime, Rosie bid her friends goodnight, while P.T. announced them to their homes for sleep. The lamp was still on, and on top of their nightstand. Rosie was smoothing Dim in comfort.

"Rosie, you saved my life! Did you really mean it?" Dim said.

"About what? Of course we saved you from bullies, and I thought you were dead!" Rosie desperately said.

"Ever since I mean so much to you, our friendship grows strong. And now that... you love me?" Dim asked again.

Blushing tearfully, Rosie said,

"Yes! I really do mean it, Dim! I'd love you forever! And I always wanted to be by your side the whole time, and even protect you. I love you, Dim!"

Blushing again, Dim smiled, putting a foot on her face, and said tearfully,

"I love you, too, Rosie."

Then, the two hugged each other, as if they were just friends. Then, the two began to yawn. As Dim rubbed his eyes, Rosie turned off the lamp on the nightstand, and the two laid in bed.

Dim was asleep and snoring steadily, smoothing Rosie's abdomen with his foot. Rosie was also asleep and moaning soundly, rubbing Dim's foot with her hand.
