Chapter 2

The Flight and Arrival

Just an FYI, I will be writing quite often, so the faster feedback, the more I will be able to make your response come true! Also, if you would like to see things appear in the story that I have not mentioned, (ships, characters, certain demigods, gods, etc.) feel free to tell me via reviews. So, enjoy this chapter!

Thalia's POV

After Nico shadow-traveled us to the airport, he declared that we needed to get McDonalds before the flight (much to Will's displeasure) and so we all headed over to McDonalds. The Stolls managed to sneak behind the counter and grab us a bunch of happy meals with Mythomagic toys in there (Nico almost fainted from happiness). Then, Percy and Annabeth stopped by the souvenir shop to get gum, and the rest of us headed over to the departure area.

"Ugh, it would have been so much faster if I had just shadow-traveled us all the way to England." Nico complained loudly. Will listed several reasons why they shouldn't, until their flight was called. Calypso was managing the international travel passports, and so, once all of our passports were distributed, we boarded the plane.

People were very surprised to see 14 close-together demigods boarding the plane, especially the homophobes, because we had Nico and Will, and then Reyna and I. One elderly man said "You are a disgrace, whichever god you worship doesn't think you are worthy of their adoration!" (A/N This was very hard for me to write, I fully support the LGBTQ community, my cousin is transgender, but I felt bad about writing it, so I'm very sorry if you were offended by it.) "We worship the Greek gods, and Apollo is bi, so come out behind whichever rock you've been living under!" I savagely spat at him. We continued walking without any further interruptions.

Percy was gripping Annabeth's hand so tight it was white, as we prepared for takeoff. I was mumbling "Please don't kill us father please don't kill us father please don't kill us fath-" When I was interrupted by a white-bearded man next to me, who said, "Don't worry Thalia, I have made a bargain with Hecate, because she needs you heroes, so I grudgingly agreed not to blast Poseidon and Hades' children out of the sky. But why are you worried? You are in my domain anyway…" I was stunned. "Father? Oh…." She then remembered her fear of heights. Shoot. "Well,... You see… I'm afraid of heights." I mumbled. Zeus was surprised but then recollected himself. "You are whatever you want to be. I will see you sooner than you think, my daughter. Tell your brother I say hello.." He said and then disappeared, leaving the scent of an upcoming storm in the air.

I noticed then that Reyna had fallen asleep and that we were in the air. I grabbed ahold of her hand and fell asleep to the sound of engines humming and Percy singing "Under the Sea" in his sleep.

Harry's POV

I had just arrived at Number 12, Grimmauld Place when Mrs. Weasley burst through the door and almost hugged me to death. I quickly excused myself and went up to my room. Ron and Hermione were already in there. "Harry!" they both yelled and crushed me in a hug. "Harry, did you hear that some American exchange students are coming to Hogwarts this year? Apparently we've never had exchange students at Hogwarts before! I wonder if they're from Ilvermory…." Hermione said excitedly.

I thought it was something more than just for connecting with other schools. Voldemort had returned 2 months ago and I was getting suspicious of everyone and everything. "Hermione, what is this school called?" I asked cautiously while unpacking my belongings.

Hermione looked suspicious. "I think it's called 'Mount Olympus School for the Magically Gifted' but I can't find it in any of the textbooks I've been looking through! It's like it doesn't even exist!" I was getting more and more suspicious by the second. But as I was deciphering what Hermione had just said, Mrs. Weasley called us down for supper. I decided I would continue my research later.

Nico's POV

We had just landed at the airport in England and decided to do a little exploring before heading to the hotel we were going to be staying in. Percy, Leo, Hazel, Frank, and Jason were going to the "Dessert around the World" place for some foreign sweets, Calypso, Piper, Thalia, Reyna, and Annabeth were going to the souvenir shop, the Stolls were robbing an Apple store, and Will and I were going to go rent a car.

I ended up summoning Jules-Albert so we didn't have to use mortal money, and Hazel shrouded him with the Mist to make him seem like a pale elderly man. Then we were off. We arrived at this strange place called 'The Leaky Cauldron' and Calypso set up our rooms. After we were all settled in, we decided to explore the city more.

And that's it! Do not worry HovernyanML, they will eventually change their stay… I will most likely be updating every 2 days or so, but when the Coronavirus will end, I don't know!
