Black Psycho Clover

Chapter 2

Meeting New Annoyances

Psycho Black didn't really know what to expect to be honest, but a large building that looked it was thrown together and added on randomly wasn't it, he might have expected a rundown warehouse type thing, or maybe a shack, an underground sewer base was an option as well. Seeing their headquarters was like being a kid and seeing a bigger house than yours for the first time, it also helped that technically he was homeless, and without allies, but that was counteracted by the fact that he was always strong enough to not need them. So as Yami and the other two stepped out of the portal and saw him just standing there, waiting for them, he didn't even move to go in yet and just stood there, while also hearing the roaring roughhousing that was going on in there, he just knew this entire thing was going to be a massive headache.

"Nice huh, we got a snazzy place," Yami boasted about the rundown and reck of a building, Psycho Black didn't say anything as the door to the place was blasted of its hinges and into a fiery mess, "this is us, the worst of the worst magic knight squads, welcome to the Black Bulls."

"It's crap mixed with shit," Psycho Black didn't even bat an eye at the introduction or care about the squad's reputation, he just walked passed Yami and into the building to greet the others with a slight nod before finding his own room or someone showed him where it was.

Inside the scene that greeted him was the sight of a glasses wearing kid with a wavy style hair actually batting fireballs towards a blonde haired kid moving around with lightning boots on to dodge the incoming fireballs, sadly neither got hurt to put an end to the argument. A woman groaned and set up on a couch, she had nothing on except underwear, she complained about all the noise the two were making, another random individual was just sitting back and eating as if nothing was wrong, she was eating a mountain of sweets by the look of it. A man with only one eye showing while the other was covered with bangs kept muttering to himself about his little sister and when a hard crash was felt, he yelled at the fighting duos way, then there was a big man blowing smoke, literally, sitting on a round corner couch.

Psycho Black didn't even bat an eye under his helmet as he walked forward and casually speed at the speed of light and snatched both the wavy hair and lightning blonde's grimoires, halting their attacks and making the lightning blonde fall to the ground with a thud, the woman laughed. The black Psycho Ranger went back to where he started walking and held up the two grimoires, the two that he stole them from looking ready to attack, but with a quick toss, both grimoires slammed into the opposite guy's head and gave them a large bump to the cranium.

"Well, now that everyone has calmed down," Yami began before turning an evil glare everyone's way, "sit down and shut up," they all sat right in front of the man like good little duckling, "I'd like you all to meet our other new member," he motioned for Psycho Black to introduce himself.

The Psycho sighed before speaking, "my name's Psycho Black, and before you ask the question, no I do not have a grimoire, no I do not have magic, yes I made another examinee puke on a captain, yes I fought and easily won a spot to be among you, that's all," were his words.

The Black Bulls blinked owlishly for a few moments before exclaiming loudly, "WHAT," and running up to Yami and asking him if what all that Psycho Black said was true, "yes, what he's saying is true," the man took a drag from his cigarette before telling Finral to introduce everyone.

"Sure thing Sir," the man in question gestured to the other guy that accompanied Yami to the entrance exam, "you know Gordon Agrippa, not always the easiest guy to talk to, but he's good people," the man in question was just about mute to be honest, but with pale skin and dark eyes. "Next we have Vanessa Enoteca, tends to pick fights when she's drunk, but she's good people," the woman in question had pale pink hair and was the woman from before that only wore her underwear, she tried flirting with Psycho Black but wound up puking beside him instead. "Luck Voltia is next, a battle freak who's addicted to fighting, but he's good people," it was the blonde boy that the Psycho hit in the head with the punk kid's grimoire, the boy ignored the bruise on his head and tried to goad Psycho Black into a fight, but he failed in the end.

Someone tapped on his shoulder and the Black Psycho Ranger turned to see the one talking about his sister, "see her," he showed a picture of a little girl, "my sister Marie, she's an angel, listen, if you lay a finger on her," he brought his face in close, "then you die," for a scare tactic.

"Gauche Adlai," Finral continued the introductions, "loves his sister a tad too much but he's good people," it was clear that would be the ending for everyone but the Psycho chose to go along with it and moved from the sister-lover and move to the next one on the list to speed this along. "This here is Charmy Pappitson," referring to the small girl that was eating sweets, "a big eater, but she's good people," she had already eaten too much for his liking, it was like she was a black hole that sucked everything in and it was never seen again, disturbing. "This is Grey, I don't really get him, but he's good people," Grey was the large one blowing smoke, how can you tell if he's 'good people' if you don't really get him, Psycho Black already hates this place and their lack of all sense, was it too much to ask for a little boring in his life. "Then there's Magna Swing, a street punk, but he's good people," now this one was the wavy haired individual with sunglasses on indoors at night, he went for a growling scowl to try and intimidate the one that caused a bruise on his head, not knowing he'll never win. "Then you have me, Finral Roulacase, lady-killer," surprised he didn't tack on a 'I'm good people' at the end of his own introduction, but that might be to over the top for the guy, but seeing as he has nothing to really set him apart from anyone else, he'd be forgotten. "And Finally, we have the Black Bulls' fearless leader, the great Captain Yami Sukehiro," the man himself was not really much to look at, probably would be the classic macho man if anyone had to really label the guy, with thick arms and a ragged look that just wasn't clean to look at.

"There are other members, of course," Yami began to explain since the bulk of the force couldn't be just this sorry little group, "but the rest are out on missions, or on leave, or I don't know," the man just didn't seem to care about much of anything, "think you can play nice, Psycho?"

"You think a Psycho can play nice, now that's a good one," Psycho Black chuckled a bit before walking forward, "I guess this is the 'haze the rookie' portion, so who wants to lose a limb first," the question was seriously said, nobody paid it any mind though because he was the 'rookie'.

"Ha, You think you can survive, but like you said, time for the rookie hazing," Magna was the one to speak and stand to begin, he grabbed the robe he wore and exclaimed, "but first you're gonna have to prove that you're worthy to wear the robe of a true member of the Black Bulls!" Silence was what greeted the boy's exclamation, "strong silent type huh, but I'm sure you still want it, but to earn it you're gonna need a baptism by fire," the boy walked right passed and into the front yard of the building, everyone else joining him to watch the spectacle.

Psycho Black sighed as he began walking out too, looking back as the walls to the building repaired themselves, as he walked by Yami, the man whispered to him, "don't kill the boy, not his fault you're so damn strong," he took another drag of the cigarette as the Psycho just walked on.

"Now, if you want the robe, you're gonna have to complete every task I give you," Magna was really wanting to go for the senior member award, either that or the 'I thought I could be a badass award', "first the physical prowess, five thousand crunches, and push-ups, each."

The Psycho didn't move to do either of those things and instead just went over to a boulder and grabbed it with one hand before flexing his fingers, breaking the boulder into pieces from the force from that alone, "how about we skip all the bravado and go straight to the fight portion?"

"Ha, not bad in the strength department, not impressed though, but if you want it that bad," Magna got into a fighting stance as he took out his grimoire, "use any skill at your disposal, just try and dodge or defend yourself against my attack magic, you manage that then you'll pass."

"Then just shut up and fight," Psycho Black stated as the mage's grimoire glowed a bright reddish orange color, a fireball formed in his hand and our from the grimoire came a flaming baseball bat, with a mighty swing he swung repeatedly at the flaming ball, sending multiple fireballs out. Psycho Black didn't need to do much to dodge them, his advanced mind already figuring out the best possible way to move to avoid all of them, so he did, moving to avoid all of them without expending much energy at all, and in the end Magna looked a little bit impressed.

"You're pretty descent, but the real battle begins now," he stated before sending his bat away and turning a few pages in his grimoire, a much bigger ball of fire forming in his right hand and radiated heat, "Flame Magic: Exploding," he got into a pitcher's stance, "Fireball," and threw it.

The magic was made to have a high impact and high explosive force once the condensed magic released, but based upon his calculations the force wouldn't be enough to cause him physical harm, so with a flick of his wrist his Psycho Rod was out, he swung it in an infinity pattern. As the magic approached him, everything slowed down, Finral looked to be ready to cast his own magic as everyone else waited to what Psycho Black would do, but what he did surprised them, he threw his Psycho Rod with enough force to cut through the magic and still keep going. When the Psycho Rod cut the magic, it kept on going and with the shape of it being like it was, it was just the right shape that it caught the wrist of Magna and sent him back and slammed him against a tree, pinning him, all while the explosive force from the attack collided with the Psycho.

The dust and dirt kicked up from such an attack was tremendous, a blazing inferno of fire and heat that scorched the ground, "what the hell, is that guy crazy or something," Magna asked with a yell as he tried to pry his hand free from the Psycho Rod holding it pinned to the tree.

"Not crazy," the voice that belonged to Psycho Black came from inside the inferno, not at all disturbed by the heat, he calmly walked out and you could tell that not even his armor was singed in the blaze, "I'm just faster than you, smarter than you, stronger than you," he began walking. The fire behind him giving him a sinister and earie glow, he only stopped walking when he was standing right before Magna, "I'm the Black Psycho Ranger," he said with his head spinning, literally, his head spun around a few times to emphasize the fact that he was different than them.

The boy was scared now, Magna had no idea of what this monster was, but knew there was no way he could be human, "stay back, stay the hell away from me," he exclaimed as Psycho Black edged ever closer to the boy, "you win okay, you're a true member of the Black Bulls, you win."

Psycho Black reached his hand out as Magna began to whimper at this monster, until he felt the Psycho dig into his pockets and pull out the Black Bull robe and fasten it around his shoulders, "good, you annoyances were beginning to get on my nerves thinking you were something." He stepped back while sending his Psycho Rod away and walked to stand in front of the others, "let me make this clear, I'm not going to tolerate much from you worms, I have no reason to, so be sure to stay out of my way," he stated before walking into the building by himself.

Next day

Psycho Black was walking around the building, he had already scouted everywhere inside the building that he could, knew where most of where everything else was, he didn't sleep through the night since he didn't need to sleep, no Psycho did, he just walked around and scouted. Knew where the bath was, the toilet, the dining hall, common area, library, and the recreational room, but the most annoying thing he found out was that the place shifted, different walls and columns popped up randomly through the night where they were unwanted and unneeded.

Now the sun was beginning to rise and cast a shade of golden light as if the sun was setting, as he was walking out of a side entrance, he found another person walking in as well, the young girl that he saw being talked town to, who's brother he completely humiliated at the entrance exam. She looked like a younger, female version of the royal, only this time with long twin pigtails rather than a braid in the front, as he was passing by her, she stopped in her tracks and looked back at him as he continued to walk away, not looking back until the girl got his attention.

"Hey," she called out to him, "insect," that made him stop in his tracks and robotically turn his head to stare back at her, "I heard how you humiliated my brother, Nozel Silva of the royal house of Silva, what makes you think a commoner like you has the right to do such a thing?"

"Other than my free will that lets me have free thought you mean," Psycho Black turned and walked towards the girl, "because I saw him talk down to you and thought he should know that karma's a bitch," he stopped just before the girl who looked on in shock at him doing that for her. "Though I don't really care about status such as royalty, and if anyone does, they're fools," without warning he appeared behind the girl, with her grimoire in her hands, "the only thing that matters is strength and power, I have that in abundance, and I sense that you do too."

The girl didn't know what to say, this guy got by her without a sound and just took her grimoire, she was defenseless, well, at least that's what Psycho Black assumed she was thinking, "the nerve of you, taking a royal's grimoire, know your place," she tried to reach for it, but was too short. She held her hand out for him to give it to her, for a moment he looked to be about to give it to her, before he held it way over his head, her wide eyes met his helmet's eyes before she began jumping up and down to try and get the book back, it was comical to see her act this way.

Psycho Black soon got tired of that though and with a loud and echoing sound, promptly slammed the book down and on top of her head, as she was stunned from the impact, and the nerve, he spoke up, "you're pathetic, all you mages are, and you royals most of all," he slammed it again. This time she stumbled back and clutched her head at the hits, "grimoire gone and you give up, magic not worth a damn is looked down upon, commoner looked down upon, you come to me with that commoner shit again, I'll do worse," he threw the book and had it hit her in the face.

Psycho Black didn't wait for her to try a response, he just walked past her and out into the wild grounds surrounding the building, just before getting an idea, so that she remembers that no matter the magic, her body is still just human, he grabbed her collar as she began to get up. With his tremendous strength, he tossed her back outside and into the forest they were surrounded by, she probably ended up hitting a tree or something, he didn't care, she was just another bitch concerned with status to him now, now to find something worth doing around here.

As he began to wonder around the grounds close to the building, he found nothing really worth looking at, just a large and lush forest where there was nothing worth doing anything here, it would have been nice to know that this world was based on old and outdated mindsets ahead of time. Eventually he began walking and went out further in the forest just to see how far out animals were to hunt, that was when a large ball of water fell and almost hit him, if not for him stepping out of the way easily avoiding the impact, he was instantly on alert now and checking his surroundings. Psycho Black headed in the direction the water sphere came from, and saw the curious sight of the girl from before she was firing water spheres at a tree, though she missed every single shot, and all of the shots either went right or left, it was impossible to predict which way beforehand.

She had been muttering to herself about not being good enough and unable to control her magic, he couldn't help but laugh as he stepped out of the trees, "hahahahahahahahaha," the girl stopped as she turned to him, "you mean you never bothered to learn to control your magic." Psycho Black laughed some more at the girl's expense, this girl looked down on him and other commoners, though technically he wasn't one, and the entire time she couldn't control her magic, it was cruel and just plain mean, but he laughed anyways, "hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha."

The girl seemed to panic at his statement, or is it the laughing at her that had her panicking, either way her magic seemed to start pouring out of her and threatening go out of control, with a quick movement, he grabbed her grimoire again and summoned his Psycho Rod. Using the weapon he sliced at her magic that was growing into a sphere, it instantly dissipated before the girl was knocked on her back with the bottom of the Psycho Rod and held in place by a black and white boot to her sternum, "get off of me," she ordered the Psycho.

Psycho Black didn't and instead hit her in the head with the book, that shut her up, and before she could protest again, he grabbed her head roughly with his hand and began to feed off of her mind, her memories, her pain, her anguish, her self-esteem, all of it he read in mere moments. When he finally let go of her, she looked at him fearfully like he was a monster, "so that's why Captain Puke treated you like that, he thinks you're not worth anything because you're just following what you're taught and not putting in true work or training to learn control, pathetic." Psycho Black tossed the grimoire away before getting off of the girl so she could breath, "if you royals think that you can get by with barely any work then so be it, but if you want to show up your siblings and prove you're better than what they see you, then put in some work, girl."

Psycho Black marched past her while sending away his Psycho rod, leaving the girl to begin to think for herself, and to herself, he personally didn't care what she had to say, what her reasons were, she was another weakling for him to have to save in this world, which he didn't want to do. Yet if he was forced to do so to… wait, why the fuck was he even doing this, why was he listening to those gods in the first place, hell, why were any of the Psychos, to prove they were powerful, no, to prove that the current system was wrong, didn't give a shit, huh, he didn't care at all. There you have it then, he lost his purpose, all the Psychos did, other than maybe Psycho Blue and Psycho Red, they might just want to cause havoc for the sake of causing havoc, Psycho Yellow he didn't know what she wanted, nor did he know about Psycho Pink, so what's left. Psycho Black knew for damn sure that he didn't fight for love, didn't have a heart living enough to really care about finding love, those gods weren't kidding when they said his heart was black, so the only real thing he could do was to find his purpose, great, journey of self-discovery.

Later

It was a few days later when Psycho Black finally was able to go on a mission, it would probably be nothing like what he's use to at all, he was already an experienced warrior and now he would probably have to babysit these others that thought his skills weren't up to par for this work. Though he did hear that the girl, Noelle, had told the other Black Bulls that she couldn't control her magic, she was getting help from that Venessa woman in controlling her magic, and also that she was going with him, along with that boy he beat when he first got here, Magna. Now, you may be wondering how that little turn of events started, and the answer is easy, Psycho Black was literally being twisted into logically going based upon who he is, Yami actually had the nerve to outsmart the Psycho logic that his siblings always used.

Magna was the one to start the conversation in the living room of the Black Bulls hideout with, "we've decided to put you two in the field, you get the honor of going to Saussy Village for some boar hunting," the statement was met with two reactions from Psycho Black and Noelle. Psycho Black slammed his hand on his face at the pathetic task while Noelle just deflated at the stupid mission assignment, "hey, those things are pure evil, they got beady eyes, huge tusks, and they charge for no reason," well that was a completely pathetic excuse of a buildup.

Yami took his cigarette out of his mouth before telling the two, "we lost to the chief of Saussy Village, now we gotta pay the price," Noelle was about to ask how they lost a fight when Psycho Black gestured for him to continue, "we lost to him at Poker," and there it was. "He stripped us of both all our stuff and half a year's wages, but that's not all, we also promised we'd do any one thing he requested of us, and that turned out to be getting' rid of some boar, a herd's been hanging around the village causing trouble and whatnot."

Psycho Black wanted to bash this guy's head in, "you expect us to help clean up your mess because you're too lazy to do it, zip it glasses," he stated the last part because Magna looked to be about to say something, "give me one good reason to go, other than your usual threat of death." By now Psycho Black had heard him say it enough times to the others in the squad and how they were intimidated with it that he knew it was the captain's go-to threat, yet when confronted by the man, Psycho Black never bats an eye and just waves the threat off like it meant nothing.

Yet now, Yami just quietly stood up and looked the Psycho dead in the eye and said seriously, "because right now I'm stronger than you, at least by a bit, and you know it too, and you also seem the type to follow only the strong, you think you can take me now, be my guest." To emphasize the point, Yami unleashed a lot of his magic power over the Psycho, who felt the power, he couldn't sense the magic, but could feel the power, even without opening his grimoire, the captain's power was huge, only thing comparable was the feeling of the gods he met.

Psycho Black had to push back though, had to give as good as he got, so he set his own energy to output as well, it was like a clash of wills and darkness, the other Psychos all had colors that fit them while Psycho Black had what you might expect, a black and dark energy that felt fully evil. Yami's black and dark magic was visible to everyone though, the other members in the building coming out to see what was going on, only to turn around and hide from the showdown going on, both forces combined were weighing down on Noelle and Magna and pulling them to the ground. Soon the force generated black lightning that shot out from them and impacted the walls and floor, leaving the room in a mess as scorch marks became scorched into everything, and soon there was nothing they could do until the great force of evil energy and magic just vanished.

Magna and Noelle looked on in amazement as Psycho Black just turned around and began to walk away, only looking back to irritably grumble, "you coming or not, I'd rather go alone but if you useless humans are good for anything, it would be to at least point me in the right direction."

It had taken the two of them a few seconds to snap out of their trances and go ahead and follow after Psycho Black, he was waiting outside and by the time the issue of rides was over with, the Psycho was on his way to the village while the other two were left to play catchup. It had taken less than 20 minutes to get to the village for Psycho Black, so of course he saw some people come out of a magic portal, all dressed in aqua colored robes, though not the same aqua as the Aqua Deer, so it was clear that something was going down in the village. Though that also meant that they'd have to get involved, at some point at least, so the Psycho just watched as the lead mage, a blonde haired man, just froze a few boar before the other mages, three of them to be exact, went to head straight for the town, the leader going slower.

There were other boars though, and they'd fight the mages eventually anyways, so he'd go ahead and start finishing off the rest of the boars and wait for the other two to get here, then all three will go to the village, should be easy to deal with them, their power is truly pathetic against his. So fighting them would be nothing to him and if those other two ever get here, they can get done with this easier, Psycho Black dropped down and one boar saw him and charged, the animal's tusk was grabbed and that halted its movements easily to allow a quick toss behind the Psycho. From the sound it gave off, the boar would be dead in a few hours, suffering the entire way, other boars came as well, all quickly killed thanks to chops, pokes, twists, kicks and punches that it looked like a massacre had happened as Noelle and Magna finally came to help him out.

"Took you two idiots long enough, I already killed all the boars," Psycho Black stated without care as he took his foot out of the head of the last one that he killed, "now we just have to deal with that," he pointed towards the village where a mist dome was surrounding the village.

Magna looked on in shock, right before turning to the Psycho, "why didn't you already go and see what's going on," he yelled the question before running off and looking at the village over the same cliff as the dark mages that looked at it as well, "whatever, let's hurry up and see what's up."

Magna led them on to the village and soon headed right to the edge of the dome, "trying to make it through that would be about as effective as walking around blindfolded, we'd lose all sense of direction and blunder around the place helplessly," Noelle pointed out as Magna examined the dome.

"Oh no, it almost sounds like we would need someone that can cancel out magic to get through," Psycho Black stated sarcastically before bringing out his Psycho Rod, with a twirl in an infinity pattern, he literally blew away the smoke form not only his anti-magic, also the force of his spin.

"I'll tell you which way to go to reach the center of the town, forward," Magna instructed, and Psycho Black didn't look back and just went forward, "to the right," he didn't go right, he just went forward and literally through the building in front of them, and so on and so forth. They just went through building after building until they got to the center of the town, it was filled with people huddled together, all cowering in fear at the mages that were currently being held back by just one man, but that one man soon became none as they arrived in time to see his death. With a quick ice strike to the heart, the old man they got the job from was dead, and left the lead mage to freely put ice spikes just above the villagers heads, until Magna destroyed them with an exploding fireball scattershot, "what the heck's going on here, huh?"

"I imagine those mages over there killed him," Psycho Black stated emotionlessly as he walked to stand in front of the group of people, "and the leader of the group is an ice mage, so I take it one of your three underlings were casting the mist spell, that's annoying."

The ice mage regarded him for a moment before looking to his palm that held a handheld clock, "you've thrown off my schedule, and I don't appreciate that, so ten seconds from now, everyone here will die," he held out his grimoire in front of his hand and unleashed a spell at them.

It was just an oversized ice orb with a pointed tip to stab a few people at least, when it was launched at them, Psycho Black just held up his hand and grabbed it by said tip and stopped it dead in its tracks, "my, aren't we the presumptuous ones today," he mocked while crushing the magic.

The man didn't really seem bothered by the fact his magic was crushed with only one hand though, "the Black bulls, the roughest, most undisciplined, most heretical of all the Magic Knight squads, dealing with this riff-raff would be a waste of precious time, five minutes. Now, we will dispose of these useless villagers in a manner befitting their station, and then we'll find what we came for," well now, this guy certainly is counting his chickens before they hatch, isn't he, the Psycho stepped forward some more steps and got another illusionary magic sent his way.

Psycho Black was paying attention though, so the one to the left is the mist wielder, that's fine, his advanced brain just calculated the complete shot it would take to kill him, or at least pierce his grimoire, so he did, he threw his Psycho Rod and it pierced right through the guy's book and chest. "I think you guys are a bit off when it comes to who's at the disadvantage here, and who's dead," the mist dissipated a bit more than before now, just not by much, so there was at least one other among the other mages that has mist magic, just great, "you done fucking around now?"

"I hope they are, because I have some questions, first and foremost is why attack this village and the old man, there's no reason for this at all," Magna asked as he readied his own magic, knowing that this wouldn't really be an easy fight for them, shouldn't be an easy fight for them at least.

The ice mage looked to be debating whether or not to tell, but considering all the variables he must have decided, "in this kingdom, there are three regions, divided by inhabitants, the Noble Realm, where the nobility reside, the Common Realm, where commoners live and the Forsaken Realm. Saussy village is in the Forsaken Realm, most in this realm are of inferior stock, they're capable of performing only a few meager spells to help with the drudgery of their everyday lives, they're much like beasts that cannot use tools, I intend to do away with the villagers to get rid of them."

"Well that means that the same rule should apply to you then," Psycho Black shot back at him, "you're essentially stating that the strong should prevail over the weak, I already killed one of you, ya sure you can get by me to kill the villagers, then bring it," the Psycho got ready to fight.

"You have enough magic power to have joined the Magic Knights, you must attempt to save them because that is your duty, but surely you can see what insignificant creatures they truly are," the ice mage said again to try and stall his own doom, more than likely at least to Psycho Black.

"Of course they are insignificant creatures," the ice mage clearly wasn't expecting the Psycho to say that, "they're human, and all humans are nothing to me but weak and inferior creatures, nothing like a Psycho," Psycho Black stuck his right hand out and ran, "let me show you why."

The mist mage acted though, as did the ice mage, each sending waves of magic that formed together into ice shards with the ice mage calling it, "Ice and Mist compound magic: Endless Ice Cage," all of the ice shards were formed over the citizens of the town, Magna ready to protect them.

The implications of what the magic was for was clear on everyone, yet that didn't stop Psycho Black in the least bit, he reached them in that time and delivered a jumping dropkick to one of the mist mages before using the ground as a spring and kicking up to kick at the head of the last one. The ice mage tried to recover from the attack with a quick ice shield, but a spinning roundhouse kick quickly broke the ice into shards, quickly making the ice mage lose some control of his ice cage as he now had to deal with Psycho Black fully until his comrades recovered from the kicks. Yet the speed at which Psycho Black could move is much greater than the ice mage's speed, not to mention his physical ability as well, but it was a testament to the mage's commitment to his job that he still sent some of the ice shards to attack citizens despite this, leaving Magna to defend.

The ice mage brought up another ice wall to block Psycho Black as he refocused some of his power to also send in more ice to kill the villagers, but the Psycho recalled his Psycho Rod and swung it up with enough force to completely destroy the ice wall, forcing the mage to back up. Yet the other two mages that were kicked earlier have recovered from their hits and now ready to attack as well, the first was apparently a water mage because he used a water based spell to try and restrain Psycho Black from behind by using a water whip to attach to his left arm. That was a mistake because that just let the Psycho know where he was, using very little in his overall strength and forced his hand in the direction it was being restrained from and shot green lightning from his fingertips that tore through the mage in large arks of fatal green lightning.

"It seems you're down two mages you pathetic human," Psycho Black walked up to the next wall of ice and broke it with a large punch that cracked it in a spiderweb form before the wall dissolved into dust, "you have no hope against me," he charged again just as the ice mage tried something.

Working in tandem with his fellow evil mage, the ice mage made ice appear on the ground to break his momentum, but the ice just broke apart like tearing through any other type of magic, but Psycho Black did look down for only a moment, giving the last mage a chance to cast a spell. "Mist magic: containment sphere," the last mist mage condensed and packed in a large amount of mist into one sphere to surround Psycho Black until he was unable to be seen or heard through the thick sphere of gray mist that was made to trap anyone inside, for the moment at least.

For Psycho Black, he was just trapped somewhere dark and seemed to be stuck, but he knew that wasn't the case, for a moment he though of maybe breaking out now, but he soon felt something that he thought might be interesting, it was simply Noelle reaching a new spell threshold. So he decided to wait until he truly felt the spell activate to allow a little more room for him to work, he didn't care either way, but he knew for sure that lower collateral damage would mean less backtalk from his fellow Black Bulls, so he let the girl cast her spell.

"There is tremendous magic power behind this spell," the ice mage said as he walked to it, "still, it's just a matter of time, I ought to be able to make an entrance wide enough for at least one person to pass through," he put his hand to the spell and began to freeze a part of it now. He breathed a bit of frost out before stating, "this should take approximately twenty five seconds, you pesky creatures certainly do enjoy wasting my time, don't you, but, oh, the price you will pay," the ice was creeping along the side of the spell, slowly bringing fear to them all.

"I think you talk too much about time," Psycho Black stated to himself before thrusting his hand out of the mist sphere, "and I'm tired of this mist," black rock shot from the ground and tore through the last mist mage's torso and grimoire, the mist all around them dispelled fully now. The ice mage noticed this and turned around to see the Psycho walk away from the now mist sphere fragments that dissipated into the air, "you're dead," with a streak of hard light, he appeared behind the ice mage and with his Psycho Rod in hand before stabbing through the grimoire. With two holes in the book, that threat was neutralized and with the bottom of the rod, so too was the left knee to the ice mage, for a bit more torture though, Psycho Black used his right fist to shatter the right knee as well before grabbing the left arm bending it backwards to the breaking point. The ice mage yelled in pain before a loud snap was heard and the arm became useless to the man, "before I kill you, I'm gonna just take what little knowledge you have," before grabbing the forehead to the ice mage and began draining all of his knowledge on why he was in the village.

"Woah, I didn't know he was so freakin brutal," Magna commented from inside the water dome barrier, seeing all of what Psycho Black did to the four mages single handedly and not even lose a step, "and on top of all that he's even getting information on why they were here, what a beast."

"He's a monster, a true monstrous Psycho monster," Noelle seemed to be thinking up better words to use against him, but clearly couldn't think of any since that was the best she could do, also her eyes didn't have wonder, didn't hold anything except fear, as they should have.

Psycho Black tossed the man to the ground and stepped over him to head for the church, it was an old and rickety thing that creaked on every step taken, for a single moment he stopped under a single spot on the ceiling before shooting up and landed in the attic, he looked and saw the object. It was a light pink color that glowed a dim light in the darkness of the attic, the design on it was of a crescent moon with three stars inside the curve, "I think I'll hold onto this for a while," and scanned it into his mind space where he keeps his weapon, "should delay whatever they plan."

The Psycho just jumped out through the wall of the church and got the ground to see Magna standing over the body of his dead mentor-like figure in sadness, not even watching the ice mage begin to regain his consciousness, so it came as no shock when they all began to sense magic. The ice mage apparently had something in him that would kill him if nobody did anything, luckily Psycho Black was able to do that, with a hand taking the form of light, quickly turned the guy over onto his back and plunged it into the guy's stomach, quickly ripping out the item in question. It was clearly designed for suicide, but Psycho Black knew the right thing to do to keep the mage alive, he could rip this guy in two and keep him alive for days if he wanted, but for now, making him live with a hole in his stomach and the unbearable heat from cauterizing the wound closed.

"You idiots go back the normal way, I'll just go ahead and take this guy to the capital," Psycho Black grabbed the ice mage by the hair and roughly grabbed the man's collar, "see you idiots at the base," and reality seemed to distort around him, bending in a wave before he himself was gone.

"How the hell did he do that," Magna exclaimed out loud and looked around, there was nobody in sight that could answer his question so he was left in the dark, "fine, Noelle, you keep watch in case anyone else comes here, we'll head back later on," he left her there to help with a burial.
