This was one of the biggest moment of thana and megumi's lives, they were about to become the new king and queen of the shiki. sunko gave them there crowns witch thana had custom made to look like real crowns from mid evil times, he wanted this to be just like it would have been back in the old days. thana's crown was cold with purple highlights and had one huge purple stone in the middle, megumi's was more sleek to make it look like a real queens. her's was the same color but with pink highlights and it had on big pink stone, the smile on her face was so big it could light up the night she was finally gonna be something big in this village. sunko smiled at them, thanatose and megumi you have proven to be amazing leaders to the shiki and since I'm in no shape to properly lead my people, I now crown you two the new king and queen of the vampires she said proudly. the two leaders leaned down and sunko placed there crowns on there heads but wen she did, something strange happened to the two shiki mostly megumi was the to feel it. both shiki felt a huge power boost once there growns were put on, megumi most of all felt like she had drank a whole cup of coffee and then started body lifting. but the two shiki ignored the feeling fore now because they had much more pressing matters, once the two stood up the other shiki smiled at them waiting for sunko to say the words, ladies and gentleman I give you the new king and queen she yelled proudly. all the shiki cheared and clapped in happiness for there new king and queen, but sunko also had a gift for junko because after all what is a kingdom without a princess. sunko turned to junko and smiled, and what would a kingdom be without there princess she said and grabbed a small box. she opened the box to show a beautiful golden crown with white stones all over it and one big on in the middle, junko was shocked beyond her dreams she couldn't believe she was getting her own crown. junko shimizu I now give you the tidal of princess of the vampires sunko said placing the crown on junko's head, junko couldn't hold back her joy any longer and to keep herself from yelling in joy she grabbed natsuno and kissed him.
everyone couldn't help but laugh at the sight of the two shiki kissing, this was truly a night to remember the shiki would now have a strong king and queen to lead them to victory. how ever thana could see even from the mansion ozacki. thana smiled evilly at this because he new the doctor was wondering what was going on, but the doctor was about to know the true meaning of what its like to lose the woman he loves. thana had a job for his daughter she was gonna attack the doctors wife witch he knew she'd have no problem with, thana had been told that the doctors wife had came to sotoba not long ago so this was perfect. this little delema would put the doctor a step behind them, it would also make the human feel the same pain he had felt wen megumi had died. thana had never been a vengeful person but after becoming a shiki he began to understand why people would seek it, he himself had some people he wanted to suffer and the doctor was one of them. but he also knew revenge often had a draw back he could end up losing it all in this battle but he would do his best, he had more to live for now then any other person in the world had. but he knew the happiness wouldn't last to long because in war there are no breaks.
the party continued through out the night until there was the sun drove the normal shiki back into hiding, but strangely megumi who was a norm didn't feel tired at all she felt fine. but the thing that shocked everyone was wen them sun hit her, instead of burning her it didn't do nothing to he witch could mean only on thing. it seems that wen megumi put on her crown it gave her the same power as a jinro tatsumi explained. this was a huge plus for the new power family, megumi was more then happy because this meant she could live a more normal life. normal shiki suffered from the fact they couldn't go out during the day because the sun would destroy them, its not a nice way to go ether your skin peals of like it paper its a horrible sight to see. but the other two ways to go out aren't to nice ether because getting staked through the heart or having your head cut off isn't cool, but being a day walker is a much better deal because you also get added strength. megumi now knew what that power boost was wen she was given her crown it was her becoming a jinro, so it would seem that the stories were true. tatsumi smiled, well it would seem that all those old stories might have some truth behind them he explained, this got the new queens attention she unlike thana didn't know too much about the creature she had become, but she now wanted to know more about them. what do you mean by that?'' megumi asked curios. that's wen thana stepped up, well my love the stories say that wen a vampire is given a high enough tidal, or if they gain enough power they can become a jinro or a royal vampire witch is what we've become he explained.
tatsumi nodded, yes it also means that you are now even more powerful then a normal jinro and your also the first vampire queen to ever live in japan he explained. this was amazing to the vampiress she couldn't believe she was something this special but thana had know this as well he just wanted to see the look on his wife's face, he loved seeing his loved ones happy because to him it meant all is right in the world. he also learnt through his life that every happy moment in life could be your last witch means you never take anything for granted, he knew that here soon the happy times would be over and all hell is gonna break lose. thana smiled at his wife, well megumi it looks like were something special among our kind but then again we've always been the oddballs, I cam from a big city in the U.S and your a contry girl from japan I'd say that's pretty dam strange if you ask me he explained. everyone laughed at that because it was true the two had met in very strange ways, megumi had thought she would never love anyone other then natsuno but after thana came she changed her mind quick. natsuno smiled, ya know its kinda hard to believe that you had a crush on me because I'm not the one for ya he said laughing. megumi giggled, true but who knew you'ed ever get with my daughter that's whats so strange about all this, how you won her so fast is beyond me but she must have some really low standers she said.
natsuno rolled his eyes at this, hay I'm not that bad I could have found a girl if I really wanted to but there were nothing but old people here, plus the only other girl I talked to was kioid and shes too young he explained jokingly. junko didn't mind him making these kinds of jokes because she knew he would never leave her because she would kill him, if she didn't then her parents would because she was there little angel. junko put her head on natsuno's shoulder and wrapped her arms around his waist, but your mine now and you won't ever leave me right babe she said in a slightly demonic voice and her eyes black and blue. natsuno shivered at this because he knew that junko got her creepiness from her mother, this brought back memories of a certain night ware megumi snuck into his best friends house. megumi and thana had planned that revenge very well, but natsuno knew he deserved it after how bad he treated her he's just lucky that she forgave him. thana chuckled at his future son in law because it reminded him of the first time he saw megumi as a shiki, but he was a little surprised at how scary his daughter could be it was almost like she had natsuno under a spell. junko was definitely different as far as shiki come and her power was still unknown to them, she could become the most powerful vampire of all time and her kind was rare among the shiki even more rare then royal and jinro. this was all the more reason to make sure she survives this stupid ware and go on to make the next generation of her kind, because if junko was like this her offspring would be just as if not more powerful then her. junko was made from mixing a jinro with a normal shiki to make a hybrid like a siren this hybridis rare, but if you were to breed a siren and a jinro together then the ofspring could be a even more powerful version of there parents.
as the family continued to make jokes while cleaning up thana couldn't help but look at the clinic, he saw that the doctor had not stopped watching them since the party making thana wonder. what's going on inside that head of yours docto, to bad you have no idea what is about to befall you and your wife.
