Epilogue: Catalyst to Doom
Manhattan, New York City (Several Weeks Later)
Peter narrates, 'It took a few weeks, especially with the "geniuses" of SHIELD blowing up all the bridges and tunnels, but life came back to Manhattan. To the rest of the Earth, and to the rest of our worlds. Venom was gone. Salem is in prison. Black Cat recovered and went back to do her usual thing. And Mobius and Remnant were transported back to their respective dimensions. Yup, everything is back to normal. Almost. New York loves me again, but Vale loves me more than ever. Beacon Academy created a monument in my honor. Think I became their unofficial interdimensional mascot. The Chaos Emeralds are back on Mobius, and the Cosmic Emeralds have been placed in a "Special Zone" to prevent anyone from stealing them again. Captain America created a new "secret" team of interdimensional Avengers to stop baddies like Salem that are hiding in our dimensions and planning a secret invasion. Shadow and Raven were among the lucky people to be invited. Surprised they accepted. Speaking of secrets, Ozpin decided to reveal his secret past to his friends. Some were surprised. Some were angry, but eventually forgave him. We all came to learn that whatever comes our way, whatever battle we have raging inside us, we ALWAYS have a choice. My friend Eddie taught us that. He chose to be the best of himself. It's the choices that make us who we are and we can always choose to do what's right.'
At a cemetery, Peter is in his civilian clothes standing in front of the tombstone belonging to Eddie Brock. He kneels down while staring at the tombstone. He takes out something from his bag, which happens to be the Parkers and Brocks' picnic photo that he found in Eddie's apartment during the symbiote invasion but refurbished. He places the picture frame next to the tombstone and says, "I love you, brother, and I'm sure gonna miss you." with a somber expression.
As Peter stands and stares down at the tombstone, Mary Jane approaches him from behind with a worried look and asks, "Will you be alright?"
"I dunno…Eddie saved our lives, and the city, the Earth, Mobius, Remnant…but he was the one who put us in danger in the first place. All he wanted to do was help people. That's why he went to Salem, to gain control of his own darkness and use it for the greater good. I made a promise to save him…but I didn't. It's my fault that I lost my brother…" Peter replied somberly, feeling guilty for Eddie's death.
"But you DIDN'T lose him…" said MJ, standing by her ex's side, "You DID save Eddie. And HE made the choice to sacrifice himself to save us all. People are simply messy. Take Professor Ozpin: He's been alive for thousands of years protecting Remnant, and did his part stopping the Symbiotes and Salem. But it was because of his past failings and trauma at her hands is what led him being so secretive, to avoid being betrayed, and led the friends of his past to their deaths."
"Yeah…" Peter responded somberly.
MJ gently places her hand on his shoulder, "You don't need to make a judgment on Eddie's life, Pete. Or his death. Just remember who he was and why you saw him as a brother."
Peter scoffs with a smile, "You were always the smart one." He said while looking at her.
"Damn right I am." MJ smiled. "So, are you gonna meet up with the others?"
"Soon. There's someone else I need to see first." Peter replied.
Cinder's Apartment
'We're at the store. Is there anything you want us to buy for you?' asked Emerald, speaking to Cinder through her Scroll.
"I'm thinking of wanting a cone of chocolate ice cream. Maybe later." said Cinder, while packing her bags and luggage for a certain reason. "Toxin, is there anything you want?" She asks her symbiote.
'Tater tots, and chocolate.' Toxin speaks to her telepathically.
"Okay. Buy some tater tots and chocolate." Cinder orders her thieving friend on the Scroll.
Emerald chuckles, 'Sure thing. We'll see you soon.'
Cinder hangs up the call and places a few of her clothes in luggage. While zipping it close, she hears someone knocking on her window. Curious, she walks to the window and opens it to find Spider-Man hanging upside down on a webline. She scowls at his presence, "I don't recall giving you my home address."
"Super Hero 101: Always keep track of where your arch-enemies live." Spidey quipped. "Can I come in?"
"Fine." said Cinder, turning and walking away from the wallcrawler as he crawls onto the ceiling of her room.
Spidey glances at her clean room, which is nearly cleared out of her belongings, and notices her luggage lying on the floor, "Nice place, but why're you moving out? And to where?" He asked the symbiote maiden.
"San Francisco. That is where me and my team are moving to. It's time that I put MY past behind me." said Cinder, focusing on packing her luggage, "With Salem behind bars, no one can order me what to do anymore. I achieved my dream of gaining ultimate power. The power of the ultimate symbiote. So now, it's time I used my power for another purpose."
"And what would that be?" Spidey asks while dropping to the floor.

Cinder glances at the webslinger with a sincere look, "Eddie once told me that power is meaningless without something to protect. I want to…honor his legacy by protecting the innocent, and the people close to me. That is the true use of power, right?"
Peter crosses his arms, "Yeah, if you can control that power."
"You don't have to worry about Toxin. I'm training him to learn the difference between good people and bad people. And to hurt, or eat, the really bad people." Cinder responded.
'Bad people taste bad, and good people taste good. Isn't that how you tell the difference?' Toxin remarked.
Cinder sighs and facepalms while shaking her head, "THIS is gonna take a while. During which, I'll be doing mercenary work to balance the heroics."
"What 'kind' of mercenary work?" Spidey questioned.
Cinder smiles while approaching him, "A little good. A little bad. Depends on the employer. Gotta make money that doesn't involve Emerald stealing it."
"Oh boy. You might be a bigger handful than Venom." Spidey quipped.
"I'll try not to start another symbiote invasion TOO soon." Cinder jokes with a smile. "Anyway, I do want to thank you for showing up to Eddie's funeral."
"Don't mention it. Eddie was my bro, and you're my friend. We ARE friends, right?" Spidey quipped.
"We are NOT friends. But you have taught me a few things." Cinder responded.
"Oh yeah, like what?" Spidey asked.
Cinder says, "Like how to disarm my enemies with bad jokes."
"Actually, they're GOOD jokes, but I understand humor can be subjective." Spidey quipped.
"Thank you, Spider-Man. For everything." said Cinder with a sincere tone, extending out her hand and Spidey shakes it shortly after. Peter then stretches out his arms to offer her a hug, in which she coldly glares at him saying, "Get out before I burn you alive."
"Sure. I just came to check on you anyway…" Spidey quips awkwardly, then jumps out of her window and swings off while she looks on.
Shortly after, Spider-Man swings to a rooftop where he meets with Sonic, Tails, Shadow, and Team RWBY. "How's everyone doing?" Peter asks upon landing behind his friends.
"Fine. But shouldn't WE be asking you that after all you've been through lately?" Sonic asked.
"Yeah, but as the leader of the Dimensional Avengers, I have to worry about you guys before myself, especially since knowing me is a liability." Spidey responded.
Ruby smiles, "You've got it all wrong, Spidey. Knowing you…THAT'S part of what makes us heroes."
"So what's next?" Yang asks her ex-boyfriend with a smile.
"It's time we start patrolling our dimensions, as a team. Then right after that, we're getting pizza." Spidey announced.
"Oh yeah!" Sonic happily responded.
Shadow scoffs with a smile, "Hope you don't mind if I stick around."
"Not at all! Just try to keep up." Spidey jumps off the building and swings ahead of his friends. Sonic and Shadow race each other as they follow him on foot. Ruby and Tails take to the skies with their Semblance and namesakes respectively. And as Weiss summons a Queen Lancer to ride on, Blake takes a backseat on Yang's motorcycle as they ride off the roof and on the streets.
Peter narrates, 'This should be a happy ending. I saved the world, reformed a few villains, and I think I have a girlfriend again. But it's not that easy.' He says while racing with his friends, 'Being Spider-Man ALWAYS comes with a price, and today that price was a steep one. What keeps me going are Uncle Ben's words, "With great power, comes great responsibility". In the end, people need heroes. As tough as it gets some days, I have to fight on. Maybe the best way to honor the people I love…is to never stop being…a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man!' He finished with a smile underneath his mask while swinging alongside his best friends of the dimensions.

Meanwhile at the Negative Zone, in Prison 42…
BGM-Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix OST-Organization XIII
Ever since her humiliating defeat, Salem has been imprisoned in Prison 42. It is a special prison that resides in the alternate dimension that is the Negative Zone and meant to hold the most dangerous criminals in the world, like Norman Osborn. Salem has been placed in a cell that awfully reminds her of the tower that she was locked in for most of her childhood. She had been outfitted with prison clothing that comes with inhibitors that shuts off any remaining power that she might have left. She has spent her days staring down at the floor pondering and thinking. And besides a few visits from Ozpin, she hasn't said a word to anyone or to herself. Until now.
'Salem…' said a mysterious voice, which instantly got her attention. The imprisoned witch glances her surroundings for the source of the voice and finds nothing, until they speak again, 'Do not bother searching. I am speaking to you telepathically.'
'This magic…is unlike anything I have felt before. Who are you?' Salem asked through their linked minds.
'Introductions will have to wait until the end. Know I am delivering to you an offer.' The mysterious voice proclaimed.
'What kind of offer?' Salem asked.
'An offer to join an alliance of powers that our worlds have never experienced before, with the mutual goal of conquering them with an iron fist.' The mysterious voice offered.
'Interesting. But what is in it for me?' Salem questioned.
'Freedom, and power.' The voice answered ominously. 'Freedom of that cell. Power that would reawaken the symbiote within your bloodstream, and much more. This power I offer you would help condemn all of Remnant and all those that have stood in your way for centuries, like Ozpin.'
'Intriguing…Am I the first to be made this offer?' asked Salem, starting to sound interested in this offer.
The mysterious voice said, 'No. I made this offer to two scientists: Doctors Octopus and Eggman. And they accepted. The reason why I waited on you was to test your capability channeling ISO-8. And despite your failure with the symbiotes, I was left impressed.'
'What do YOU know of ISO-8?' Salem questioned.
'More than anyone else in our universes. You could say that I alone possess their hidden secrets. How they came to be on Earth before Mobius and Remnant. And how to harness their TRUE power and potential.' The voice claimed.
'I have been questioning their true origin. But I have to ask again: Who? Are? You?' asked Salem, coldly pressing them of their true name.
'Doom…' The voice responded.
Castle Doom, Latveria
"Victor von Doom." said Doctor Doom, telepathically introducing himself to the witch from his throne, "I am the unopposed ruler of Latveria, and the supreme master of both science AND magic."
'Doctor Doom…I have heard of you during my brief stay on Earth. If I accept your offer, will you keep your end of the bargain?' Salem asked.
"I am a man of my word, Salem. Rest assured. You will be free of that prison and gain a power that will transcend the gods. Your enemies will grovel beneath your feet, and Remnant will be at your complete mercy. All I ask of you is patience." The armored monarch coldly claimed.
'Okay, Doctor. You have yourself a deal. I am looking forward to this alliance of yours.' Salem accepted ominously, which foreshadows a new era of evil that will take master of the multiverse.

KFX Here: And that officially wraps up this remake. Want to know more of Doctor Doom's alliance? Read the stories under the "Masters of Evil" Saga, starting with Spider-Island and ending with Exo War. No more remakes for a while. The next time I do a remake it'll either be Spider-Island or The Fell Awakening. Or a simple remaster that updates the dialogue with little story changes. For now, let us continue the Time War Saga.
Guest (Chapter 27): Yes. Ultima is a spell from Final Fantasy. Appropriate since RWBY's Dust have been compared to Materia by the creator of RWBY.
