The Lead-up to the Halloween Ball

Chapter 13, it's a friday, why wouldn't it be a halloween chapter! The next chapter will be a chapter full of DRAMAAAA! Courtesy of PercabethSolangeloIsMyLife. I am currently sitting on my bean bag chair watching YouTube under a blanket. Ahhhh quarantine. Anyway, onto the reviewers!

Harry's POV

October arrived with cold winds, snow, and a spirit of panic, with the Halloween Ball coming up. That included me as well, as I still hadn't gotten around to asking anyone. I mean, Cho is single now, and I think Reyna is single too…..

But, I wasn't anxious to ask one of the Americans after Ron asked out Annabeth. He was in the hospital for a week, after Annabeth judo-flipped him and pressed a knife to his neck, and said "I have a fucking boyfriend. You need to respect that, now go ask someone who's actually single."

Then she walked off, leaving a bunch of disappointed girls who wanted to ask out Percy in their wake. I don't want a repeat of that. Though…. She spends a lot of time with Thalia…. Best friends, maybe?

I approached Reyna slowly, and Thalia looked at me suspiciously. "So, uh, Reyna, are you currently… uh… in a relationship with anyone?" I asked awkwardly. Thalia suddenly advanced on me with her fists raised. I backed away slowly.

Reyna ushered her aside, and I got hopeful again. She looked me in the eyes and said "I'm gay, bitch." Then she put on sunglasses and joined Thalia, Nico and Will and they all put on sweatshirts that said 'TEAM GAY' and stalked off.

The rest of the Americans came over and said "You probably need to steer clear of everyone, we're all in a relationship. So, don't cross us. We don't want a repeat of Ron." Annabeth and Percy smirked. Why must god be so cruel?

The rest of October passed quickly. The morning of Halloween was exciting, I was looking forward to dancing with Ginny tonight at the ball. I was still sad about Reyna, but I rebounded quickly.

Ron still hadn't found a date, and Hermione said that she already had a date. Ron had yelled "But Krum's not here! Who else would want to ask you out?" Hermione was severely offended, and turned the other cheek.

So, he asked me to get him a date. I walked over to Lavender and Parvati and awkwardly and asked "Lavender, would you like to go to the dance…" She squealed and said "YES!" And I finished "...with Ron?" She looked slightly disappointed, but agreed anyway.

I headed down to the Great Hall, only to see the Americans sitting there, and Piper talking to all of the girls about tips. Hermione was blushing furiously and always glancing at Draco. Wait…. Draco? AAAAARRRRRRGGGHHH

I was about to go tell Ron when Grover suddenly said "Ahh, Connor, Travis, our guests have arrived. Let's go meet them." Connor and Travis smiled mischievously and walked out of the Great Hall. Fred and George quickly followed, Hermione throwing them disapproving looks.

Professor McGonagall stood up and said with great pleasure, "We have decided that in honour of an amazing year so far, you have an entirely free day to get ready, hang out, and get schoolwork done!" Everyone cheered and ran freely out of the Great Hall.

Everyone abruptly stopped as Grover, Connor, Travis, and 3 extremely hot girls entered. One looked like she was made of plants and trees, another had long brown hair and soft eyes, and another had black hair with purple at the tips. WOW, they were hot!

Draco's POV

The 6 new arrivals approached us, and I realized that these must be their girlfriends. Travis said "This is Katie Gardener, my girlfriend," he then whispered "Daughter of Demeter." Grover was next.

"This is Juniper, my girlfriend, and she's a tree nymph. I carry around her tree in my bag, because it's her life source." He whispered. We shook hands and we moved on to meeting Connor's girlfriend.

"This is Raven, my girlfriend, daughter of Thanatos. Nico, Draco, Hazel, you're technically related to her." He said quietly. I glanced at the Gryffindor table and saw Harry and Ron throwing me jealous looks. I put the thought aside and shook hands with Raven.

Raven had pale skin, like Nico, except she informed me that she was Argentinian, and she had purple eyes, and she had on a dark leather jacket, with a purple SPQR tank-top under it. She wore black ripped jeans and black combat boots and had a skull ring, like Nico.

Juniper had on a light green dress with flowers on it, and had tanned skin, green eyes and long brown hair. She also had on green flats and gave off an aura of peace and equality. All of the wizards surrounding us were immediately jealous of Grover.

Katie had dark brown hair, and tanned skin and had on an orange Camp Half-Blood shirt. She had on short jean shorts and light yellow Converse that made all of the boys swoon. She gave off an aura similar to Juniper's, except more agricultural, and Juniper's was more forestal.

Then all of the girls got together and Piper said "Well, we better start getting ready! I need to contact Mom and see if she can come down and help us." Then they walked off and Nico said "We'd better get ready too if we want to look as good as the girls!" So we headed off to our designated spot that the girls set up for us in the room of requirement.
